During the trial on Tuesday, jurors listened to testimony from Keith Davidson, the attorney who orchestrated the hush money agreements involving Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal. Davidson recounted the stresses of working with Trump’s former fixer, Michael Cohen, in the final days of the 2016 campaign to secure funds, allegedly to silence Daniels. Jurors were briefed on the financial dealings surrounding the Stormy Daniels payment

Gary Farro, Cohen’s former banker, detailed Cohen’s swift actions in setting up a shell company and transferring funds to Daniels’ attorney. Within a day, Cohen expedited a $131,000 advance on his home equity line of credit, promptly wired to the newly created Essential Consultant LLC account. This maneuver, disguised as a real estate deal, resulted in a $130,000 transfer to Daniels’ lawyer. Farro emphasized the frequency of urgent matters in his interactions with Cohen, noting that Cohen’s accounts were subsequently closed by First Republic Bank following the public revelation of the hush money payment to Daniels.

Video evidence was presented to the jury in court on Tuesday morning, with prosecutors relying on records custodians to introduce several clips.

Clips from C-SPAN featuring Trump speaking at public events were shown to the jury. 

The clips depicted then-candidate Trump vehemently refuting allegations of sexual assault made by women following the release of the “Access Hollywood” tape that month. In one clip, Trump asserts, “As you have seen, right now I’m being viciously attacked with lies and smears. It’s a phony deal. I have no idea who these women are.”

In an Instagram post, he featured pictures of the two in different stages of their relationship. In addition, he wrote of his shame and apologetic feelings in the post’s caption.

Rich The Kid’s Apology To His Fiancée

For those unaware, the two started dating a bit after the 30-year-old and his previous wife had a divorce in 2018. Moreover, the rapper faces a lawsuit from a “Jane Doe” in Massachusetts court over an unfulfilled $35K hush money payment. According to a Radar Online report, Rich apparently slept with the woman in question at a private hotel event in January of 2023. Afterwards, he reportedly drafted an agreement that she would get an abortion and that he would pay her the $35K in exchange for her silence, so that his fiancée Toni Brixx wouldn’t find out. With this lawsuit, alleging that he still owes her $25K, that seems impossible.

However, the lawsuit also included some more details on the incident. Furthermore, “Jane Doe” claimed that they engaged in unprotected sexual activity at his request. Not only that, but she also accused Rich The Kid of battery for aggressively touching her to keep her in the hotel without consent. From what her story indicates, he followed her after she left, getting into her Uber. Then, they had relations again at her home, and her lawsuit came with pictures of him on her home ring camera.

On Thursday (March 30), it was officially announced that a Manhattan grand jury has voted to indict the embattled politician.
