Back in April, Universal Music Group issued a takedown notice after an AI-generated song imitating Drake and The Weeknd went viral on YouTube, but that somehow isn’t stopping the song from being considered for a Grammy Award. The song’s creator, an anonymous internet denizen going by “Ghostwriter,” has submitted the song to the Recording Academy, and it sounds like it’ll be taken seriously despite its dubious provenance.
The song, “Heart On My Sleeve,” used approximations of the two performers to sing a mopey breakup ballad supposedly about Selena Gomez (who was previously romantically involved with The Weeknd). It also generated plenty of criticism online from detractors who believed that its popularity undermined the creativity and individuality of the artists invoked. As one Twitter user put it, “The first immediate thing that stands out is that so much of this AI music is going after rap/hip hop and that’s how you can tell the people behind it have contempt for it.”
Apparently, that contempt extends to the Recording Academy (because of course it does). The Academy CEO, Harvey Mason, Jr., told The New York Times, “As far as the creative side, it’s absolutely eligible because it was written by a human.” I’m not so sure that’s the case (one generative AI “writes” Drake songs based on prompts provided by users after scraping existing Drake songs for cues), but Drake himself generally seems to frown on the illegal use of his likeness (or, in this case, his voice) for AI-generated songs, so that would be enough for me to disqualify this thing from contention — but I’m not an Academy member (yet) so, what do I know?
The Academy announced that AI-generated songs would be eligible in June, provided the songs were actually written by people, but despite later clarifications, it’s unclear how exactly the Academy intends to verify authorship.
Overall, the Air Jordan 2 Low is a sneaker that is becoming more and more popular. It is well-deserved, especially when you consider how understated the AJ2 has been as a whole. Now, however, the shoe is getting a ton of amazing colorways, and fans are very excited about the future of the silhouette. Today, we will be taking a look at five colorways of this shoe that you are going to need this Fall.
Firstly, we have the Air Jordan 2 Low in the “UNC” color scheme. At this point, the North Carolina colors are well-known within the Jordan Brand ranks. On this sneaker, we get a white leather upper with some powder blue sprinkled throughout. This comes together extremely well, and you can’t help but love how this looks on the low-top silhouette. With this “Responsibility” color scheme, we get a colorway that is much more reserved. As you can see, the shoe is mostly black with an aged midsole for some contrast. Furthermore, there is some elephant print around the cuff of the shoe, which will give you some Jordan 3 vibes. It makes for a great sneaker that a lot of people are going to adore. Next up, we have this gorgeous “Cherrywood” model. Overall, the concept here is fairly simple. There is a white leather upper that makes up the majority of the shoe, all while beige nubuck is found on the sides. To top it all off, a burgundy hue is placed on the back heel and cuff to give you that cherry aesthetic. The fall vibes are very strong with these. (Image via Stadium Goods)
The next colorway on our list is part of the new Craft line. With this shoe, we get a white leather upper, some grey on the sides, and then orange on the back heel and the cuff. Overall, this orange coloring is going to be perfect for Halloween. If these had a black upper, they would be the ultimate Halloween shoe. Regardless, they are still great for the Fall season. Lastly, we have the Air Jordan 2 Low “Two 18.” This sneaker breaks away from the trend of white leather uppers. Instead, this shoe is constructed with brown suede, that eventually transitions into a darker brown on the sides. Moreover, we get a little bit of blue and red that pokes through. Ultimately, these are a sure-thing in the colder weather. (Image via Stadium Goods)
Let us know which of these colorways are your favorites, in the comments section below.
Kanye West and his new wife Bianca Censori have been known to make headlines for outlandish outfit choices, unexpected behavior, and more. The couple appears to be getting closer than ever on their Italian getaway, however, reports suggest that friends are worried. Page Six claims a source described the model as being isolated from her loved ones amid their romance, and not acting like herself. They also claim that friends are “extremely concerned” for Censori in the relationship.
“Bianca is stuck,” the source begins. “And her friends are trying to save her, but no one can because of the blockades Kanye has put up [around her].” They continued, “This isn’t who she is. She is an incredibly outspoken and lively person who is never one to keep her mouth shut.” They add that the relationship “is so scary,” because she doesn’t have anyone in her life to fall back on. The concerning reports also follow a recent incident which saw the couple photographed amid what looked to be a sexual act.
Bianca Censori’s Loved Ones Are Reportedly “Extremely Concerned”
At the end of last month, Ye and Censori were captured on a riverboat, and Ye had his pants down. As expected, the wardrobe malfunction managed to get social media users talking. Some reports eventually surfaced suggesting that Ye’s ex, Kim Kardashian, was worried for Censori.
“Kim is watching the situation with Kanye and Bianca open-mouthed,” a source told Closer Magazine. “She can’t believe how reminiscent it is of how Kanye was with her.” The source further adds that Kim “can see Bianca being (molded) into Kanye’s ideal of the perfect woman.” Kim and Kanye’s divorce process has gotten pretty ugly in the past, and it looks like he could be repeating some of the same mistakes with Censori. Everything is purely speculation for now, however, and nobody truly knows what’s going on aside from Censori and Ye. Keep an eye on HNHH for more updates on Bianca Censori and Kanye West.
East Orange, New Jersey, in the mid-20th century, might not sound like the cradle of an international pop sensation, but for Dionne Warwick, it was where the magic started. Born in 1940 to a gospel recording family, music coursed through her veins from the very outset. As part of the family gospel group, the Drinkard Singers, young Dionne was acquainted with the stage and spotlight early on. College years at the Hartt College of Music refined her raw talent, but the soulful spark in her voice was unmistakably innate. The foundation of what would become an illustrious career was firmly rooted in these early experiences, setting the stage for the legend she was destined to become.
The Soundtrack Of Generations: Career Triumphs
Warwick’s musical journey rose when she collaborated with songwriting duo Burt Bacharach and Hal David. This alliance would produce some of the most memorable hits of the 20th century, including “Walk On By” and “I Say a Little Prayer.” Spanning across genres from pop to gospel, Warwick’s distinctive voice became synonymous with versatile artistry. With five Grammy Awards and numerous nominations, the world couldn’t help but take notice. Over six decades, Dionne cemented her legacy not just as a singer but as a television host with her own talk show, Dionne and Friends. And if one needed evidence of her financial accomplishments? By 2023, CAknowledge reported a net worth of a staggering $12 million.
Harmonies Off The Stage: Dionne’s Personal Life
In the spotlight, Warwick dazzled. Away from it, she navigated the complexities that come with fame. While kept reasonably private, her personal life saw its share of challenges, including two divorces and the immense responsibility of raising her two sons. Her bond with her family, particularly her cousin Whitney Houston, was a guiding light through the highs and lows. Warwick’s resilience in the face of personal adversities and her determination to shield her loved ones painted a portrait of a woman as strong in character as she was in voice.
Hitting The Right Notes: Dionne’s Humanitarian Undertaking
The world has known Warwick as a songbird, but her melodies weren’t her only contributions. Stepping into activism, she became a vocal advocate for HIV/AIDS awareness in the ’80s and ’90s. Her charity single “That’s What Friends Are For” generated millions for AIDS research, proving her commitment went beyond mere words. Alongside her music and activism, Dionne ventured into business with her own line of fragrances, further diversifying her revenue streams. Whether through her music, advocacy, or business ventures, Dionne Warwick ensured her impact was felt far and wide.
Loki Season 2 drops in October. The MCU villain turned anti-hero continues his time-traveling, multiverse-bending escapades with the Time Variance Authority. At the end of Season 1, one of Loki’s multiverse variants killed He Who Remains, an alias of Kang the Conqueror. Now, with Kang/He Who Remains spread across the multiverse, Loki must reassemble his team and help restore balance.
However, a bevy of real-world issues have cast a shadow on the premiere of the show. The biggest is the ongoing legal issues faced by Kang/He Who Remains’ actor, Jonathan Majors. Majors is accused of assaulting his then-girlfriend back in March. It is unclear what the plan is for Majors with Disney as Kang is meant to be their next major villain for much of the 2020s. Despite this, Majors does appear in the Loki Season 2 trailer. He is briefly seen as Victor Timely, the Kang variant he emerged as at the end of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Timely is a long-standing comic alias of Kang who serves as an early 20th Century rival to Henry Ford and Thomas Edison. The full extent of Majors role will be seen when the show drops on October 6.
Majors will be back in court on September 15. He briefly appeared in court in New York on September 6 to receive his new trial date. Majors has been in and out of court for the past few months as prosecutors time and again present a case that the judge finds worthy of trial.
As mentioned, Majors is accused of assaulting Grace Jabbari, whom he was dating at the time. Jabbari says Majors strangled her amid other things while they were clubbing in March. While details have been disputed back and forth, other women have come forward with similar allegations about the actor. Furthermore, an in-depth investigation from Rolling Stone found reports of violent behavior about Majors dating back to his college days. This is a developing story and we’ll have any updates as and when they emerge.
Keke Palmer and Darius Jackson attended Beyonce’s Renaissance World Tour stop at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on September 4th together. Jackson recorded Palmer joining in on Beyoncé’s “everybody on mute” challenge at the show in a video on his Instagram Story. The night out comes months after their rumored breakup.
In the clip, the two place their fingers over one another’s lips until Beyonce sings “Look around, it’s me and my crew, big energy,” before they break out into excitement. The two also posted themselves dancing to “Break My Soul.”
Before the night out, the relationship status of Jackson and Palmer had been up in the air throughout the summer. Back in July, Jackson took to social media to complain about the actress’ behavior at an Usher concert in Las Vegas. “We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is,” he said at the time. “This is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals to what I believe. I rest my case.” Palmer began selling “I’M A MOTHA” merch afterward. Eventually, they began to make public appearances together again, with Jackson taking Palmer out for her 30th birthday in August.
Jackson and Palmer are far from the only celebrities who were in attendance at this week’s Beyonce concert. The Kardashian family also watched the legendary singer perform as did Jeff Bezos, Chris Rock, Hailey Bieber, and more. Beyonce also brought out Diana Ross and Kendrick Lamar to perform. Beyonce will wrap up the tour in Kansas City, next month.
New London, Connecticut, isn’t a name you’d usually associate with global R&B sensations. However, Cassie Ventura, known mononymously as Cassie, would change that perception. Born in 1986 to a Filipino father and Black American, Mexican, and West Indian mother, Cassie’s multicultural background became a blend of influences she’d later channel into her music.
As a child, Cassie delved into the world of modeling and dance, showcasing her artistic inclinations from a young age. Local performances paved the way for larger aspirations. Her magnetic aura and unique vocals caught the attention of record producers, and it wasn’t long before her career trajectory shot toward the stars. By 19, she had a record deal, a precursor to a flourishing career that few from New London had dared to dream of.
Hitting High Notes: Cassie’s Career Milestones
It was 2006 when Cassie’s sultry single “Me & U” became an earworm. That track alone is a significant chapter in the R&B book of the 2000s. It charted on the Billboard Hot 100 and turned Cassie into an overnight sensation. This initial success was a harbinger of things to come. While she never quite replicated the mammoth success of her debut single, Cassie’s subsequent albums and singles, like Long Way 2 Go and Official Girl, showcased her as an R&B staple.
However, her prowess wasn’t limited to the audio sphere. Film roles in movies like Step Up 2: The Streets and The Perfect Match showcased diversified talent. She was eager to explore new avenues. Indeed, by 2023, Cassie’s portfolio of songs, film roles, and endorsements culminated in a net worth of $8 million, as reported by Idol Net Worth.
Cassie’s Personal Life
With fame often comes a level of scrutiny that can be both invigorating and invasive. Cassie has had her share of both. A decade-long relationship with music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs was frequently in the limelight, dissected by fans and media alike. Their eventual split made headlines, but Cassie’s narrative was far from over. She soon found love again with Alex Fine, a relationship that blossomed into marriage and motherhood. Family became her anchor, offering solace from the dizzying heights of stardom. Cassie’s transformation from a young artist to a mature woman, both personally and musically, is a narrative of growth, resilience, and evolution.
Rhythms Of Generosity
Though the flashbulbs often capture the glitz, they sometimes miss the heart. Cassie’s philanthropic endeavors might not make as many headlines as her hits, but they’re equally noteworthy. From supporting children’s educational programs to advocating for mental health awareness, Cassie’s contributions to society reverberate beyond her music. Additionally, she’s lent her voice and platform to uplift marginalized communities, often echoing the diverse tapestry of her own heritage. While specifics of business ventures remain shrouded in some mystery, there’s no doubt that Cassie’s future includes further intertwining her artistry with causes close to her heart.

One of the most gorgeous and captivating voices in all of music is back with his second single for his highly-awaited album. We are talking about London songwriter and R&B artist, Sampha. His one and only full-length project was released all the way back in 2017. Process featured 10 tracks, along with a bonus edition that includes two extra songs. While it was a terrific project the following sophomore album will be longer which means we can hear more greatness from Sampha.
We already got the first single to his next album Lahaiback on June 28. “Spirit 2.0” was a beautiful but somewhat sad track that was layered with tons of different instrumentation. That, along with this new song, “Only,” is giving us a nice glimpse as to how vast the sounds will be on this tracklist. This new cut is almost three minutes long and has more of a conventional R&B tune.
The looping hi-hats give it that feel, but there’s also the inclusion of violins and piano keys. In addition, you will find more awe-inspiring singing from Sampha. Fans should love this song and the upcoming album. A short bit ago, the singer posted to Instagram to announce his next musical journey with Lahai. He says, “LAHAI,” and then proceeds to list off the meaning behind it. “My grandfather’s name My middle name My next musical chapter My next album Fever Dreams. Continuums. Dancing. Generations. Syncopation. Bridges. Grief. Motherlands. Love. Spirit. Fear. Flesh. Flight.” All of these fairly vague characteristics are tantalizing and we cannot wait to listen to it on October 20.
What are your initial thoughts on this brand new track, “Only,” from Sampha? Is this song better than “Spirit 2.0?” Are you looking forward to the release of his sophomore album, Lahai? We want to hear what you have to say about all of this. With that in mind, be sure to leave all of your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the hottest song releases as well as all of the latest breaking news around the music world.

Doja Cat recently hopped on Instagram, sharing yet another confusing image with followers. The songstress is seen staring into the camera seriously, posing in what looks to be a neck brace. “i’m fine my neck is fine,” she captioned the contradictory photo. It’s unclear whether or not Doja’s actually injured, but for obvious reasons, the post raised some concern amongst fans in her comments section.
“Doja is your neck fine?” one commenter asks. Various others chimed in with jokes about her new “Demons” music video, in which she’s seen committing to her demon character with some spooky choreography. “It’s from climbing on the ceiling huh,” a fan writes. Another claims she must have simply “slayed too hard.” This is far from the first of Doja’s social media posts to leave fans perplexed, but this one has left them worried for her physical health.
Doja Cat is currently gearing up for the release of her fourth studio album, Scarlet. The album is scheduled for release on September 22 of this year. The performer’s already managed to get fans interested with her singles “Paint The Town Red,” “Demons,” and “Attention.” She’s been leaning into some demonic imagery as of late, which has sparked controversy among listeners. Doja appears to be unfazed by the criticism.
At the end of last month, Doja Cat also took to social media to unveil the highly-anticipated release date and album cover for Scarlet. She was immediately hit with backlash for the album’s artwork, however, after she was accused of copying another artist. The German metal band Chaver is using the same image for the cover of their upcoming album, which is also set for release the same day as Doja’s Scarlet. Doja later responded by changing the cover art, which now boasts a spider created by the same artist. Keep an eye on HNHH for more updates on Doja Cat.
