Kodak Black Seemingly Gets Emotional After Fan Says He Needs To Go To Jail To Sober Up

Kodak Black’s faced his fair share of legal troubles in his career and unfortunately, they continue to persist. The rapper surrendered to authorities earlier this week a warrant was issued for his arrest in his prescription drug case. Yak reportedly failed to show up for a mandatory urine test. However, he posted bond shortly after with his lawyer asking the judge to remove the tight pretrial conditions. The judge obliged under the condition that his bond increases to $250K.

Still, Yak’s recent behavior created concern among his fans. Over the weekend, he appeared troubled on Instagram Live when addressing his recent legal matters. Fans reacted immediately, believing that he might be under the influence and expressing their concern. However, one fan even went as far as telling Kodak Black that needed to go back to jail in order to sober up. “Damn, what kind of person are you? This motherf*cka say, ‘You need to go back to jail and sober up, Yak. For real, for real, man.’” Kodak said on Instagram Live.

Kodak Black’s Emotional Response

After reading the comment out loud, Yak appeared to be emotional in his response, although trying to maintain a leveled approach. “How and why do you feel like that’s the answer to my… whatever you feel like?” he said. Kodak began to explain to recount a conversation he had with an officer who asked him why he was constantly getting into trouble. “I was like ‘shit… when mothaf*ckas know you chosen and sh*t, that’s when they torment you,” he said.

Clearly, the individual suggesting that jail would help him hit a sore spot, and understandably so. There hasn’t really been a time in the last five years that Kodak Black hasn’t been restricted by legal issues. However, in Kodak’s latest courtroom win, his attorney, Brad Cohen, successfully had the judge remove certain restrictions that would allow Kodak to travel without having to check in with pre-trial. We’ll keep you posted on any more updates surrounding Kodak’s case. Check out the video above and let us know your thoughts in the comments.

DC Young Fly Says God Has Granted Him “The Strength To Keep Going”

The world is still reeling from the death of comedian and reality star, Jacky Oh!. Jacky passed away earlier this month as a result of complications stemming from cosmetic surgery. It is believed that Jacky had undergone a BBL, the controversial and dangerous posterior enhancement procedure. Jacky was survived by her partner, DC Young Fly, as well as their young children.

A lot has been written in the aftermath of her death. Jacky’s surgeon recently made his first comments since her death. However, he failed to mention Jacky at any point during his statement. Meanwhile, Young Fly has been very open about the role that faith has played in his perseverance since her death. Young Fly expanded on this in a recent street interview with TMZ.

Young Fly Attributes Ability To Keep Working To Strength From God

“You know, God is the greatest. He has granted me the strength to keep going. I gotta take care of my babies. That’s the key to life. You gotta keep going, stay prayed up, and never let the tragedies and stuff you’re going through get you down. We healin’, we emotional. People wanna see my cry. I’m just not gonna record myself crying. Of course I’m gonna cry, I’m crying all the time. But I’d rather show positivity and let people know that God is the greatest. I wanna continue to show that God is keeping me uplifted and keep granting me the strength. That’s the message I wanna continue putting out in the world. Becuase there’s a lot of stuff out there and I don’t wanna desensitize what the enemy is doing. The enemy is still working but God is always greater,” Young Fly preached.

The TMZ reporter then coyly asked if Young Fly believes if Jacky’s death will deter people from undergoing the same procedures. “If they’re paying attention, it should. But you know, some people use people as lessons and and others just get on with their lives. But I just want people to take care of themselves. Make sure you make the best decision for you and your family. And always keep God first,” Young Fly continued before leaving.

Jamie Foxx Still “Not Himself” As Recovery Continues

It’s been a tough few months for Jamie Foxx fans. The actor was suddenly hospitalized in April while on the set of his upcoming Netflix film, Back In Action. It was the latest in a long series of issues that had hampered production. Furthermore, the coverage of Foxx’s hospitalization was a mess, with Foxx seemingly both on the verge of death and recovering well. After many conflicting reports about his status, his daughter revealed in mid-May that he had been out of the hospital for several weeks. However, for the time being, Foxx continues to recover in private.

Updates about the actor have been few and far between, with his family seemingly eager to not justify the rampant speculation and source leaking. Meanwhile, a number of Foxx’s celebrity friends have come out to give vague updates or simply send their best wishes to the veteran performer. However, we have yet another source with yet another update, courtesy of PEOPLE.

“He is getting the best care and working hard to recover right now, but he is still not himself,” a source told PEOPLE. Furthermore, the source noted that the actor’s inner circle is still tightly guarding the cause of his sudden hospitalization. “He has the tightest circle around him,” the source explained. Speculation has run wild about what put Foxx in the hospital, including a number of unsavory theories related to the COVID-19 vaccine. Furthermore, particularly incendiary claims made by columnist A.J. Benza on the web show Ask Dr. Drew led to a rep for Foxx speaking out. The spokesperson called the claims “completely inaccurate.”

However, the latest source reveal came just after hours after several people spoke about Foxx at the premiere of They Cloned Tyrone. John Boyega, who stars in the film alongside Foxx, said that he was recently able to speak with Foxx on the phone after several failed attempts in recent weeks. “He finally picked up the phone. Thank you, bro,” Boyega said. “He’s doing well. And then, you know, we just giving him the privacy, and we can’t wait for his return.” He continued: “I gave him the well wishes directly. I gave him all the well wishes. So I’m just gonna be waiting until he comes back out here. So take your time, Jamie. We love you, bro.”

Drake Incessantly Trolled Sixers Owner During 2019 NBA Playoffs

The 2019 NBA playoffs saw the Toronto Raptors win their first-ever title behind first-year head coach Nick Nurse and league superstar Kawhi Leonard. Their title run was full of memorable moments, including Kawhi Leonard’s four-bounce rimshot buzzer-beater to sink the Sixers in the second round. The Raptors would eventually win the title with a 4-2 series win over the Golden State Warriors.

Meanwhile, Drake became a persistent figure on the sidelines, cheering on his hometown team. Drake has an interesting history with Toronto sports. A string of failures by teams from the Canadian city, often after Drake was in attendance or shoutout the team, has led fans to declare the rapper to be cursed. However, not only did the Raptors win the 2019 title, but Drake also tormented a then-owner of the Sixers with some masterful trolling.

Drake Had “No Chill” After Game 7 Buzzer-Beater

Appearing on the All The Smoke podcast, Michael Rubin, who owned a stake in the Sixers between 2011 and 2022, revealed just how much Drake had trolled him. “My worst memory of Drake is in the middle of Game 7 of the playoffs, he sends me a picture of himself wearing Sixers shorts. He said, ‘I’m coming for you,’” Rubin recalled. “As soon as I saw him in Sixers shorts, I said, ‘We’re losing this fucking game.’ That jinx-ass muthafucka. Just put on these shorts and I knew it was a wrap.” Rubin was right, of course, as Kawhi Leonard ended the game with the aforementioned four-bounce buzzer-beater. However, Drake was not done with Rubin.

“By the way, I’ve never seen someone FaceTime me more times and me ignore him more than after that game. He had no chill. We had just lost [to Kawhi’s shot] and he FaceTimed every two seconds. I just never picked up. I just went home depressed.” The pair apparently quickly reconciled, with TMZ spotting them gambling in The Bahamas after the Finals. However, Drake would also go on to reference Rubin in “When To Say When” on Dark Lane Demo Tapes. “I watched Michael Rubin win a million off a couple hands/ I decide what to see next like it’s on demand/ I decide what to be next like I’m switchin’ plans/ I’ma tell you what you feel next like the weatherman.”
