Jennifer Lopez Reflects On “Disappointment & Failure” In MTV Movie & TV Awards Speech

Jennifer Lopez was honored with the Generation Award at the MTV Movie & TV Awards ceremony on Sunday for her “diverse contributions to both film and television.” In her acceptance speech, Lopez expressed gratitude for both her successes in life as well as her failures.

“Since you cannot create truth unless you’ve really lived it, I have a different kind of list of thank-yous tonight,” she said. “I wanna thank all the people who gave me this life. I wanna thank the people who gave me joy and the ones who broke my heart, the ones who were true and the ones who lied to me. I wanna thank true love and I wanna thank the way that I lied to myself because that’s how I knew that I had to grow. I wanna thank disappointment and failure for teaching me to be strong, and my children for teaching me to love.”

LeBron James Trading Card Could Sell For Over $6 Million

LeBron James is one of the biggest stars to ever grace the basketball court. Having said that, it should be no surprise that his memorabilia sells for hundreds of thousands of dollars at auction. In some instances, his stuff will sell for over a million if it is rare enough.

Recently, Goldin Auctions seemingly hit the holy grail of modern card collecting as they are set to begin the bidding process for a new LeBron card on June 8th. This card just so happens to be the Triple Logoman which contains NBA patches from LeBron’s days with the Cavs, Heat, and even the Lakers. According to TMZ, this is one of the rarest cards in the world and there is a feeling that it could sell for over $6 million.

“The LeBron James Triple Logoman card is the undisputed holy grail of modern cards,” Ken Goldin told TMZ. A Honus Wagner baseball card sold for $6.6 million which is the record as far as trading cards are concerned. With this Triple Logoman, some feel that the record could be broken again. More conservative estimates have this card selling for between $2.5 and $4 million, which is still a whole lot of money.

It remains to be seen how much this card will sell for although it can be said that the person who currently holds this item is in for a massive payday.

Let us know how much you would pay for this, in the comments below.

Police found Trouble lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to the chest while responding to reports of a shooting at 3:20 AM at an apartment complex. The Rockdale County Sheriff’s Department has issued a search warrant for 33-year-old Atlanta man Jamichael Jones in connection with the murder.

Draymond Green Makes Interesting KD Comment While Praising Steph Curry

Last night, the Golden State Warriors were on fire as they came back from a Game 1 disappointment to defeat the Boston Celtics in Game 2 of the NBA Finals. The series is now all tied up at one game apiece and with the series headed back to Boston, we should be in for a treat.

As you can see from the highlights package down below, Steph Curry had himself a truly amazing game as he scored 29 points all while facilitating for others. It was a classic night for Steph who is now leading the conversation for NBA Finals MVP.

After the game, Draymond Green was asked about Curry’s performance and what it’s like having Curry run the offense. Of course, Draymond offered up some massive praise for his teammate, however, he interestingly brought up Kevin Durant for seemingly no reason. It has been three years since KD was on the team, but that did not stop Green from letting people know that KD was not the number one option when he played for the Warriors.

“It all starts with Steph. When KD was here, our offense still started with Steph,” he said.

KD and Draymond are known to go back and forth on social media so perhaps this will spark a little something. After all, the mention of KD was totally unnecessary and Durant probably won’t appreciate that.

The Golden State Warriors have bounced back to their championship form as they defeated the Boston Celtics 107-88 last night in the Chase Center.

In game 2, Stephen Curry did Stephen Curry things. Curry finished with 29 points, six rebounds, four assists, and three steals. He also added five crowd electrifying 3-pointers. The Warriors tied the series 1-1.

For the Boston Celtics, Jayson Tatum led the way with 28 points, but most of his damage was in the first half, by scoring 21 points. His running mate Jaylen Brown, the new addition to DONDA Sports, pitched in with 17 points.

The Celtics kept the game close in the first half, as they only trailed 52-50 going into halftime, but a huge third-quarter surge from Golden State separated the two teams. The Warriors outscored the Celtics 35-14 in the third period, leading to a series-tying victory.

The NBA Finals are now tied at 1-1. Game 3 is Wednesday in Boston.

And new.

Undefeated lightweight boxing star Devin Haney (28-0) became the undisputed lightweight champion of the world following a dominating performance to collect all four sectioned belts (WBC, WBA, WBO, IBF) in a unanimous-decision dethroning victory over former three-belt titleholder George Kambosos on Sunday (June 5) at Marvel Stadium in Docklands, Australia.

“The game plan was to go there and hit and not get hit and I did that for the majority of the fight,” said the 23-year-old Haney. “I took the last round off just because I knew I was comfortably ahead, but I fought a good, smart fight.”

Further analyzing the fight, Haney continued: “I handicapped him of his best things. He wanted to land the overhand right, and he wanted to land the big left hook … I was fighting both ways. When I would go to the left, I would fight his right hand. When I would go to the right, I would fight his left hook. And he couldn’t hit me with neither one of them.”

The defeated Kambosos expressed he would exercise the rematch clause immediately in the post-fight interview. “Yes, 100 percent … we’ll do it again,” said Kambosos. “Look, I gave him the shot. If I hadn’t given him this shot, he wouldn’t have had his moment right now.”

Haney’s victory comes on the heels of fellow undefeated lightweight champion Gervonta “Tank” Davis delivering a highlight reel knockout to Rolando “Rolly” Romero to defend his lightweight title last week in Brooklyn. Davis has voiced interest in a bout with Haney after Kambosos to determine the true lightweight king.
