Ray J Calls Kanye West’s Retrieval Of Kim Kardashian’s Sex Tape ‘A Lie’

Ray J is calling “shenanigans” on a recent viral clip from Hulu’s The Kardashians in which Kanye West allegedly returns a laptop containing Kim Kardashian’s sex tape to his ex-wife. In the clip taken from the third episode of the show, Kardashian breaks down in tears as West hands over the computer. “He got me all of the sex tape back,” she says. “And he flew home and he got the computer it was on and the hard drive. He met up with Ray J at the airport.”

However, Ray J apparently takes issue with this version of events, responding via a comment to an Instagram post of the clip. “All of this is a lie smh,” he wrote. “Can’t let them do this anymore – so untrue.” While he didn’t offer any additional explanation, he may be referring to the fact that the laptop in question reportedly didn’t have any more explicit content on it, as explained by Kardashian in a portion of the show after the clip cuts off. “It was just footage of us at a restaurant, at a nightclub. Nothing sexual, nothing weird.”

However, that statement also contradicts Kanye’s own account given during a January interview, while Ray J’s manager, Wack 100, claimed that there was “more graphic” content. While Kardashian initially refuted the claim to People magazine in January, the clip from the show seems to undermine that statement, as well. While the world may never know the truth, one thing is for sure: Most of the damage that could have been done probably already has been, and it seems everyone involved has already mostly moved on.

Police Secure Footage Of The Alleged ASAP Rocky Shooting But Not The Actual Gun That Was Used

Los Angeles police say they have secured possible footage of the shooting allegedly committed by ASAP Rocky, according to TMZ. Although they did not release any details, it’s believed that the footage came from a nearby surveillance camera and if it’s clear enough, could be the evidence the police need to prove their case. Unfortunately for them, though, none of the guns they seized from Rocky’s Los Angeles home matched the weapon that was used in the shooting; shell casings found at the scene were of a caliber that did not match Rocky’s guns.

In addition, all of the guns they found at Rocky’s home were legally purchased and registered, which police confirmed by checking their serial numbers. According to TMZ’s sources, none of the guns were even removed from the house, since officers could tell they weren’t the same caliber as the shell casings. Meanwhile, the Los Angeles District Attorney still has not charged Rocky, since there isn’t enough evidence to proceed to trial yet.

Rocky was arrested at LAX last week as he returned from Barbados on a private flight with the pregnant Rihanna. A victim in a November 2021 shooting had identified the rapper as the perpetrator, claiming Rocky shot at him three or four times and grazed his hand. Rocky was released after posting bail — set at $550,000 — and has since been seen with Rihanna at various events, including their rave-themed baby shower.

T-Pain Returns With New Banger “That’s Just Tips”

T-Pain is one of the most important artists in hip-hop in terms of influence. His use of autotune inspired the likes of Kanye West, Travis Scott, and pretty well every artist who still uses autotune today. At the time, T-Pain was laughed at for his use of the tool, however, he is now recognized for having an amazing natural voice. He is finally getting his deserved flowers, and on Friday, he dropped off a new single called “That’s Just Tips.”

On this track, T-Pain offers up his signature autotuned sound and it ultimately leads to a banger of a track. Throughout the song, we get some energetic production aided by bouncy 808s, all while T-Pain’s flow helps steal the show. It’s definitely another great effort from the veteran artist, and fans should most definitely tap in.

Wale’s Beloved Mixtape “More About Nothing” Hits Streaming Services

Wale has a different kind of love for Seinfeld. The Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David-created series served as the inspiration behind Wale’s 2010 mixtape, More About Nothing, which has existed on platforms like DatPiff and MyMixtapez for the past 12 years. It served as the sequel to 2008’s The Mixtape About Nothing and the predecessor of The Album About Nothing. 

It might’ve taken some time but Wale’s day-one fans are blessed today with the re-release of More About Nothing. The DSP version includes 17 songs, rather than 21. Songs like “The Problem,” “The Eye Of The Tiger,” “The Flight” and “The Trip” were excluded from the commercial tracklist.

Wale previously revealed that Jerry Seinfeld personally held him clear the records. “Thank Jerry Seinfeld,” Wale tweeted. “That guy made all the calls to clear so much stuff ..#moreaboutnothing is otw.”

LeBron James Responds To Russell Westbrook

Russell Westbrook has been slandered quite a bit over the last year or so, although for good reason. He was awful with the Los Angeles Lakers this past year, and there is a lot of talk about whether or not he still has what it takes to be a superstar point guard. Russ has definitely heard the chatter surrounding his name, and yesterday, he took to Instagram with an audio clip of Nipsey Hussle talking about how he always tries to be himself, no matter what.

“I learned when I was younger that you can put your expectations of me on me,” Hussle says. “I’m me. You feel me? You’re not ever going to make me feel bad for it. You’re not going to make me react on how you’re reacting to me. I don’t care, I’m me. If part of who am I is crossing the line or basic things, I’m going to check myself. But we all are individuals so for you to think my balance or my ratio…I’m too this or too that or I don’t have enough of this or enough of that, that’s all love, just keep it to yourself.”

There have been rumors that LeBron James isn’t so fond of Russ anymore, however, that seems to not be the case. In the comments section of Russ’ latest post, LeBron is right there as he wrote “HIM!! Solid as they come.” Clearly, LeBron resonated with Russ’ post, and there are no ill feelings going around right now.

Regardless, Russ will likely be traded in the offseason as the Lakers are looking to retool this roster. Russ was not the answer this year, and he certainly won’t be the answer next year, either.
