WATCH: Ray J Calls Out Jaguar Wright for Fabricating Stories Involving Him, JAY-Z, and Beyoncé

Ray J Jaguar Wright Reality Check News

Ray J Jaguar Wright Reality Check News

Ray J has had enough. Hitting his The Reality Check show, Ray J blasted Jaguar Wright after she made claims about him.

In case you missed it, Wright made claims about Whitney Houston’s relationship with Ray J, leading him to address her online. “When you are creating these stories and pushing narratives with no real basis, it’s clear that you’re doing some kind of attention-chasing or you’re doing this shit for clout. Or just for negative destruction, right?”

He continued, “Our culture needs more truth and integrity, not chaos and confusion. People were listening. You got our attention. Is what you’re saying true? Because this shit is outrageous. But I came to the conclusion that once I seen a story about me, and what you had to say about me and situations in my past, that is where I started to understand that you are totally fabricating stories and you are a complete liar. So that means that I have no respect for you and nothing you’re saying. So now I’ma go further. How dare you disrespect Jay-Z and Beyoncé? Jay-Z is an OG. Don’t ever disrespect Beyoncé.”

You can hear it all from Ray J below.

On “GOD DID” JAY-Z rapped:

I got lawyers like shooters
Workin’ pro bono for him as a favor ’cause I throw them Ms

And Piers Morgan just found that out the hard way. Jaguar Wright was brought on to Piers Morgan Uncensored, where she spread rumors about the alleged crimes of Hov and Beyoncé. Morgan received a note from The Carters’ lawyers. Morgan said:

“Jaguar, unexpectedly, made several serious allegations about Jay-Z and Beyoncé during that interview. As I said in the moment, they were not present to respond or defend themselves, but now they have. Their lawyers contacted us to say that those claims were ‘totally false’ and have no basis in fact, and we’ve therefore complied with a legal request to cut them from the original interview.
“Editing interviews is not something we do lightly at a show called Uncensored but like the proverbial cries of fire in a crowded theater, there are legal limits on us, too. And we apologize to Jay-Z and Beyoncé.
“The thing about platforms, the reality of the modern world is that pretty much everyone has a platform as long as they have something to say that other people want to hear. That’s why we invited [Wright] on to be interviewed. The people making these claims have an audience with or without shows like mine.”

And that portion of Jaguar Wright’s interview has been deleted.

You can see Morgan’s statement below.

South African Women’s Advocacy Group Launches Petition to Block Chris Brown’s Concert

Chris Brown

Chris Brown

Chris Brown is set to perform in South Africa and has already sold over 94,000 tickets, to be exact. But everyone is not thrilled the R&B star is coming.

According to BBC, Women for Change, an advocacy group in the country, has created a petition to stop the performance and has already collected over 20,000 signatures. “When I saw the news that Chris Brown was coming to South Africa, I was shocked and deeply disappointed,” executive director Sabina Walter stated.

“The petition was started to send a strong message that we will not tolerate the celebration of individuals with a history of violence against women. When someone like Chris Brown is given a platform in a country where GBV is at crisis levels, it sends a damaging message – that fame and power outweigh accountability.”

BBC also notes South Africa has one of the highest rates of femicide and gender-based violence, with a rape recorded every 12 minutes in the country. Additional cases go unreported. “When someone like Chris Brown is given a platform in a country where GBV is at crisis levels, it sends a damaging message – that fame and power outweigh accountability,” said Ms Walters.

In a thrilling repeat of Game 1, the New York Liberty and Minnesota Lynx faced off in Game 2 of the 2024 WNBA Finals. New York surged to an early double-digit lead, extending it to nearly 20 points in the first half. However, Minnesota mounted a fierce comeback, narrowing the gap to just five points multiple times.

The final moments of the game marked a pivotal shift from Game 1. With 3:23 remaining and New York leading by only two, the Liberty ignited a 12-0 run, ultimately sealing an 80-66 victory and tying the series at 1-1.

Breanna Stewart had a standout performance, notching 21 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, and a Finals record of 7 steals. “The moment the game ended Thursday night, I was looking forward to Sunday to change things, change the narrative a little bit,” Stewart remarked. Her impressive stats placed her in elite company, becoming one of only four players to achieve at least 20 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 5 steals in a playoff game.

On the Lynx side, Napheesa Collier contributed significantly with 16 points and 8 rebounds, passing legends Chelsea Gray and A’ja Wilson for the fourth-most points scored in a single postseason.

With the series now shifting to Minnesota, Game 3 promises to be crucial. Historically, teams that win Game 3 in a tied series have a 71.4% chance of claiming the championship. The pivotal matchup is set for Wednesday at 8 PM ET on ESPN.

Sunday’s Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Enshrinement Ceremony was a heartfelt affair, filled with laughter, tears, stories, and poetry from the 13 remarkable inductees who graced the stage in Springfield, Massachusetts—the birthplace of the game.

Vince Carter, who closed out the ceremony, delivered a powerful reminder to his fellow inductees: “From now on, they don’t just say your first and last name without saying… ‘Hall of Famer.’” His words encapsulated the significance of the moment, solidifying their legacy within the sport.

Chauncey Billups expressed his gratitude to the city that embraced him and earned him the nickname “Mr. Big Shot.” In a nod to Detroit, he said, “The NBA franchise that loves me like family finally found me… Detroit.” Pausing to put on shades, he added, “What up doe … If you know, you know,” referencing the camaraderie he shared with fellow inductee Ben Wallace, who was seated on stage.

Michael Cooper received enthusiastic support from Lisa Leslie, Magic Johnson, and Pat Riley, who chanted “COOOP!” as he took the stage. He paid tribute to his mentor, Jerry West, stating, “I owe him more than he can ever understand. I miss him more than I can ever express.”

Doug Collins, still involved in coaching, shared his philosophy on failure and success. “In my life, if you look at my career, I’ve never been afraid to fail,” he remarked, emphasizing the importance of growth through adversity.

Seimone Augustus left a lasting impression with a heartfelt poem that showcased her smooth style on the court. “Home is where the heart is, and where the heart is, it grows,” she began. “I want to tell you a story about a girl from the Bayou, who cooked up a good pot of gumbo. Sprinkle in a little Pistol Pete, Dr. J, Teresa Edwards, Allen Iverson, and many more; they all helped me develop the game that you all adored.” Her eloquence resonated with legends like T-Mac and Dr. J.

Jonnie West, son of the late Jerry West, spoke poignantly about his father’s historic third induction into the Hall of Fame. “Contributor to the game of basketball. That is you in every single sense, and that will live on forever,” he said, honoring the legacy of a man who has significantly impacted the sport.

The ceremony was a celebration of the past, present, and future of basketball, highlighting the journeys of these remarkable individuals who have shaped the game and inspired generations to come.

In an exclusive interview on Piers Morgan Uncensored, Tupac Shakur’s stepbrother Mopreme says that Diddy’s claim that he was not involved in the rap legend’s death might not be 100% true.

On Friday, Piers asked the elder Shakur about the theory of Diddy’s involvement in his brother’s back in 1996, mentioning that Diddy actually called Mopreme back in 2008 and denied any involvement in his little brother’s death.

Mopreme says that he still isn’t convinced that Diddy is completely in the clear when it comes to ‘Pac’s death, saying he told Diddy back in the day the truth of who did it still has not come out, so they needed to wait and see.

In the murder trial of Duane “Keefe D” Davis, who is currently on trial for Tupac’s murder, alleged Diddy implied he’d pay someone to kill 2Pac in an attempt to get a judge to deny Keefe D bail. Davis’ claims came up in court during his trial, prompting the Shakur family to hire Alex Spiro and Christopher Clore to look into the allegations.

Law enforcement says that Diddy has never been a suspect in the case.

TheSource.com will update this story as more details develop.

Buku Abi, daughter of the controversial singer R. Kelly, has come forward for the first time to discuss the alleged abuse she experienced as a child at the hands of her father.

In Karma: A Daughter’s Journey, a two-part documentary that debuted today on TVEI Streaming Network, Abi reveals that she reported the alleged abuse to her mother, Andrea Kelly, in 2009 when she was just 10 years old.

“He was everything to me,” Abi, now 26, says in the emotional first episode, which is now available to stream. “For a long time, I didn’t want to believe it. I didn’t think someone, even as flawed as he was, would do something like that to me.”

Though Abi, whose real name is Joann Kelly, does not delve deeply into the specifics of the abuse in this initial episode, she shares how fear kept her from speaking out for years. “I was too scared to tell anybody. I was too scared to tell my mom.”

Abi, who has remained largely out of the public eye during her father’s legal battles, feels her father’s current imprisonment is fitting. “That moment changed my life… it changed who I was as a person,” she reflects. After opening up to her mother, Abi and her siblings, Robert and Jaah, stopped visiting their father.

In a very unexpected, lopsided defeat, the Los Angeles Dodgers jumped all over the New York Mets in their opening outing in the National League Championship Series by keeping the Mets scoreless, beating them 9-0.

The Dodgers have now gone 33 consecutive innings in the postseason without giving up a single run, tying the MLB record for scoreless innings only with the 1966 Baltimore Orioles in the World Series.

L.A. managed to pitch a perfect 27 innings against New York, only allowing a walk by Mets MVP Francisco Lindor in the top of the fourth inning. Jack Flaherty gave up two hits in seven innings, keeping the Mets from scoring and didn’t allow a hit until Jesse Winker’s single in the fifth inning.

Mets starter Kodai Senga folded in the most important start of his career, walking three consecutive batters in the first inning and permitted six of the 10 batters he faced to reach base. Senga was pulled from the mound after throwing just 30 pitches, only nine of them were strikes, departing with the Dodgers up 3-0.

The New York bats were less than Amazin’ as well, managing only three hits the entire game. The top of the order, Lindor, Mark Vientos, Brandon Nimmo and Pete Alonso went hitless, striking out four times.

If their pitching and hitting wasn’t bad enough, there was first baseman Pete Alonso’s throwing error and Winker’s terrible baserunning mishap. Winker led off the fifth inning with a single to right field and Jose Iglesias followed with a single to center, setting up a first-and-third situation with no outs. in a potential rally. Winker, who could’ve easily made it to third, looked at center fielder Enrique Hernandez, who faked as if he was going to throw to third base. Winker stopped running and Hernandez threw the ball to second base. Winker got caught in an unnecessary rundown and was tagged out at third base.

The Mets never reached base again until after Flaherty left the mound.

Lindor and the Mets get a chance to redeem themselves this afternoon in Game 2 of the NLCS.

Kamala Harris Unveils Policy Agenda Aimed at Black Men

Battleground Voters React to Vice President Harris’ Optimistic Nomination Speech

Battleground Voters React to Vice President Harris’ Optimistic Nomination Speech

On Monday (Oct. 14), Vice President Kamala Harris revealed a list of policies focused on Black men,, according to The Huff Post.

Harris’ “Opportunity Agenda for Black Men” includes many proposals to boost economic and social opportunities. Among the key initiatives are providing one million loans to Black entrepreneurs and investing in Black male mentorship. Other initiatives include protecting cryptocurrency assets and legalizing recreational marijuana to ensure Black men’s participation in the growing industry.

In addition, Harris announced a health equity initiative targeting diseases that disproportionately affect Black men, such as diabetes and prostate cancer.

These policies stem from her ongoing nationwide economic opportunity tour, including visits to cities like Atlanta, Charlotte, and Detroit. During these stops, Harris discussed their economic and health challenges with Black men.

With Election Day just weeks away, former President Barack Obama has hit the campaign trail to support Vice President Kamala Harris. On Thursday (Oct. 10), Obama traveled to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a crucial battleground state where polls between the candidates remain close.

Recalling his famous campaign slogan “Yes, We Can,” Obama introduced a new version in support of Harris: “Yes, She Can.” He praised the vice president as “a leader who has spent her life fighting on behalf of people who need a voice and a chance.”

In his speech, Obama addressed the challenges Americans have faced in recent years, from the pandemic to rising inflation. He expressed empathy for the difficulties many are enduring, while also emphasizing the importance of leadership in such times.

Obama didn’t shy away from criticizing former President Donald Trump, describing him as “out-of-touch” and mocking Trump’s often lengthy and unfocused rally speeches, which he referred to as “word salad.” He also called out Trump for spreading misinformation, particularly concerning recent claims about FEMA’s response to Hurricane Helene. Trump has accused the administration of neglecting storm victims and redirecting FEMA funds to Democratic-leaning areas and migrants—allegations the administration has strongly denied.

“Everybody knew it wasn’t true, even local Republicans said it wasn’t true,” Obama said. He expressed dismay over Trump’s behavior, asking, “The idea of intentionally trying to deceive people in their most vulnerable moments—when did that become okay?”

Obama’s stop in Pittsburgh marked the beginning of a broader campaign tour across key swing states. He previously spoke at a campaign fundraiser in California and at the Democratic National Convention.

Next week, former President Bill Clinton is expected to join the campaign effort, with plans to rally support for Harris in the rural South, according to a campaign spokesperson.

Trump Reportedly Uses Offensive Term for Kamala Harris at Donor Dinner

Trump Questions VP Kamala Harris Race at NABJ Conference: 'She Happened to Turn Black'

Trump Questions VP Kamala Harris Race at NABJ Conference: 'She Happened to Turn Black'

Former President Donald Trump, 78, reportedly used an offensive term to refer to Vice President Kamala Harris during a private dinner with billionaire donors, according to a report by The New York Times. The incident allegedly occurred on Sunday, Sept. 29, at Trump’s Trump Tower penthouse.

During the gathering, Trump reportedly aired grievances about the 2024 presidential race and expressed frustration over his lack of appreciation from key donors. The Times reported that Trump used the term “re—–” while discussing Harris, who is set to be his opponent on the presidential ballot come Election Day.

The dinner reportedly included notable figures such as former Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos, hedge fund manager Paul Singer, and investment banker Warren Stevens.

Late last month, while speaking in Pennsylvania, former President Donald Trump discussed reducing crime. He suggested a policy like those in The Purge would solve the issue.

“If you had really violent day, with Mike Kelly, congressman Kelly in charge for one day,” Trump said. “A chain of events that’s so bad, one rough hour, I mean real rough, the word would get out and it would end immediately.”

You can hear it from Trump below.
