RiTchie Links With Producer FearDorian For Six-Track EP “Quiet Warp Xpress”

It was just several months ago that RiTchie (Nathaniel Ritchie of Injury Reserve) began his solo career. The Phoenix, Arizona multi-genre talent did so by delivering “RiTchie Valens”. That would eventually go on to be the lead-off track for his solo debut album, Triple Digits [112]. The 14-song offering went on to receive some pretty decent reviews from fans and critics for its wild experimentation. It boasted features from the likes of Amine, Quelle Chris, and Niontay. After that, RiTchie decided to keep up the production just earlier this month with another single, “Cc Me”. For it, he recruited FearDorian, another fellow undergrounder who has been making some noise working with the likes of AyooLi and Polo Perks.

They put out their collaborative record, A Dog’s Chance, this past June. “Cc Me” would go on to serve as a lead single for this new joint EP between RiTchie and Dorian, Quiet Warp Xpress. This new duo would give us one more just a few days prior to this six-track effort’s release with the second-to-last cut, “Broke The Mold”. Both artists overall have very quirky and off-the-wall tendencies, so them linking for an extended play isn’t too surprising. However, what is a little shocking is the lack of cohesion and how rough it sounds. Reviews online are pointing to the loose song structures and nonchalant performances by RiTchie. We have to say we sort of agree with those opinions, sadly, However, we still want you to check out as much new music as possible so spin Quiet Warp Xpress and let us know what you think.

Rich Homie Quan’s Cause of Death Revealed

Rich Homie Quan died from an overdose after taking several drugs, including fentanyl, according to a new report from TMZ. The Fulton County Medical Examiner in Georgia is reportedly ruling his death an accident after fentanyl, alprazolam, codeine, and promethazine were all found in his system. Additionally, there were no signs of trauma on his body when police discovered it.

The iconic Atlanta rapper died back on September 5th at the age of 34. Lamar’s girlfriend, Amber Williams, says she saw Quan asleep on the couch on the morning of his death before taking her son to school. When she returned home, she checked on him and noticed his body was cold, at which point she dialed 911. “While on scene, I did not observe any foul play. Mr. Lamar did not appear to be alert, conscious, or breathing,” the responding officer wrote in his report, as caught by Fox 5 Atlanta. “Ms. Williams advised me that Mr. Lamar did not have any medical or underlying diseases.”

The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s report comes after Quan’s estate released the music video for his first posthumous song, “Song Cry,” on Monday. It features the late rapper getting more emotional than usual while footage from his recent funeral service plays. “Aye, this one here personal,” he says in the intro. “I know a lot of my songs, y’all don’t take serious in a way, but I want y’all to turn this one up.” His estate held the massive service back on September 17, welcoming Killer Mike, DC Young Fly, and more to come pay tribute.

JID Proves Once Again Why He’s A Freestyle Legend With “31”

It seems like everyone is waiting on JID to drop either Forever & A Day (his next studio album) or his unnamed collab tape with Metro Boomin. It’s for good reason though because the Atlanta native has developed into one of the hottest MCs in the game over the last couple of years. The Forever Story has played a big role in his ascension, and it might be the best of the 2020’s decade when it’s all said and done. For now, it’s pretty much the best of 2022. But when it comes to the Dreamville signee, he’s going to take his time. Right now, JID seems content with dropping some spot features (excellent ones at that) and loosies like “31 (FREESTYLE)”.

Believe it or not, this is his second numbered freestyle of the year, as he opened up 2024 with “30 (Freestyle)”. On that joint, he skated over some funky instrumentation from Conductor Williams and Christo. Prior to this one, JID dropped “29 (Freestyle)” in 2022 with the latter and it seems that’s the first one in this series. Since it’s an off-the-dome cut, there really isn’t a consistent theme with it. However, what is consistent is how damn good JID is with this sort of format. The slipperiness he possesses when e spits is pretty much second to none, as he hits with clever bar after clever bar. The track is out on YouTube now and it’s produced by another close collaborator, Hollywood Cole.

See It: Man Weirdly Pays $4,000 To Smash ‘Autographed’ Taylor Swift Guitar That Was Likely Fake

People have a lot of time and apparently money on their hands. In the world of weird election season oddities, a man recently went viral for smashing a guitar he believed was autographed by Taylor Swift after spending $4,000 on it. The video, which has been widely shared, shows the man using a hammer to destroy the guitar at the Ellis County Wild Game Dinner, an event supporting agricultural education. The act left many viewers puzzled as to why anyone would destroy such a seemingly valuable item.

However, Swift’s team has since stated that the guitar was not authentically signed by the pop star. The fact that they took the time out to address this insanity is surprising.

Get this, a source close to Swift’s merchandise team told HuffPost that the guitar lacked a certificate of authenticity, which is standard for any legitimate Swift-signed memorabilia. The source also confirmed that Swift did not sign the guitar in question.

What’s more, after the video’s release, one fan commented, “The funniest part is that this definitely a fake signed guitar, like it has the wrong Era’s Tour logo and font, I’m crying republicans are sooo stupid.”

While Ellis County Wild Game Dinner reportedly claimed to have a certificate of authenticity, they are dodging questions from media outlets seeking comments or well, proof. In the footage, the man is seen laughing as he smashes the guitar, but the reason behind the act remains unclear. Some speculate that it was politically motivated, given the timing of Taylor Swift’s recent endorsement of Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election.

The head scratcher invoked more response on socials. Several online users criticized the destruction, with one person remarking, “$4000 could have gone to any number of charities & this dimwitted, MAGA mad dog of an old fart spent it to performatively destroy a guitar signed by Taylor Swift.”

ICYMI, Swift’s political involvement, including her support for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, has been praised by figures like Vice President Harris herself, who called Swift “an incredible artist” with courage in her career for standing up for what she believes is right. Minnesota Governor Tim Walz also expressed gratitude for Swift’s endorsement, noting her influence and advocacy for important social and political issues.

Overall, Boosie Badazz has not been an ally to the LGBTQ+ community, to say the least. While he claims to not have anything against them, his words do speak volumes. They certainly did with the daughter of Boosie Badazz, Poison Ivi. She was deeply hurt over her dad’s destructive comments that he spewed on a live edition of Yung Miami’s Caresha Please podcast. Essentially, he doesn’t want her openly lesbian daughter to “contaminate” his other six girls and wants all of them to “bring me grandchildren the right way”. This prompted an emotional and angered response from Poison Ivi, saying, “Emotionally, mentally, you suck… And I know you suck with that cause you’d rather go to the Internet and have a conversation with the Internet about your kids before you come to us”.

Now, according to AllHipHop, Boosie Badazz is looking for her to forgive him for what he said. He posted a collage of photos of the two of them together and coupled it with an emotional plea. “I SAID SOME THINGS N I DIDNT KNOW ITLL HURT U. Diddy Breaks Silence After Allegations Of Sexually Abusing 25 Minors

Diddy’s legal team has put out a statement on his behalf, denying the latest wave of allegations that he sexually abused 120 individuals, including 25 minors. Attorney Tony Buzbee announced that he’s representing the massive group in a press conference on Tuesday, revealing people who were as young as nine years old, 14 years old, and more at the time of the incidents.

In a statement to Rolling Stone, one of Diddy’s lawyers, Erica Wolff, said of the claims: “As Mr. Combs’ legal team has emphasized, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus. That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors. He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court if and when claims are filed and served, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”

At his press conference, Buzbee claimed the nine-year-old met with Diddy at the Bad Boy offices for an audition. “When we talk about the ages of the victims when the conduct occurred, it’s shocking,” Buzbee said. “Our youngest victim at the time of the occurrence was 9 years old. We have an individual who was 14 years old. We have one who was 15.” He also claimed that other high-profile celebrities involved in the scandal will be revealed at a later date.

This is why you can’t believe everything you read, hear and see on the World Wide Web. Drake’s representatives have reportedly denied allegations that he sent Kendrick Lamar a cease and desist order to stop him from performing the song “Not Like Us” at the 2024 Super Bowl halftime show.

As we said in earlier reporting to take Wack’s claims with a heavy grain of salt. These rumors surfaced after Wack 100 suggested that Drake was attempting to prevent Lamar’s performance. Wack had stated, “He’s trying to get the NFL to restrict Kendrick.”

Oh but wait, Wack later clarified his remarks, explaining that he was merely repeating information he had come across. “I read a fcking clip,” Wack said. “I wouldn’t know if Drake sent a cease and desist. Why? Because I don’t represent Kendrick in business or Drake in business, so I wouldn’t know if a cease and desist happened. All I did was read a fcking clip.”

What’s more, a rep for Drake reportedly responded to the claims, saying they are “not true.” The source added, “There was never any intention or plan to send a cease and desist to anyone.”

ICYMI, Kendrick Lamar, who is set to perform at the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show, shared the news with fans earlier, introducing himself in a video: “What the deal everybody, my name is Kendrick Lamar… I’ll be performing at Super Bowl 59. Will you be pulling up?”

He continued and rather sarcastically, “I hope so. You know it’s only one opportunity to win a championship, right? No round twos. I wouldn’t want you to miss it. Meet me in New Orleans [on] February 9, 2025. Wear your best dress too, even if you’re watching from home. Let’s go.”

Lamar also captioned the announcement with, “Super Bowl LIX. New Orleans. February 2025. #AppleMusicHalftime.”

Yea, well anyway, glad we got that cleared up.

Diddy Reportedly Facing Over 100 New Potential Lawsuits

When it rains it pours, at least when it comes to Sean “Diddy” Combs legal troubles. The disgraced mogul is facing potential lawsuits from over 100 individuals accusing him of sexual abuse and assault.

Here’s what we know. During a press conference on Tuesday, Texas attorney Tony Buzbee announced that he represents 120 accusers who are filing civil suits against the music mogul. The allegations include “violent sexual assault or rape, facilitated sex with a controlled substance, dissemination of video recordings, and sexual abuse of minors.”

This is what Buzbee declared, “We will expose the enablers who allowed this conduct behind closed doors. We will pursue this matter no matter who the evidence implicates.”

What’s more he added, “It’s a long list already, but because of the nature of this case, we are going to make damn sure we are right before we do that. These names will shock you.”

Naturally, in direct response, Combs’ legal team denied the allegations. Combs’ attorney, Erica Wolff, stated in an email to USA TODAY, “As Mr. Combs’ legal team has emphasized, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus. That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors.” She added that Combs looks forward to proving his innocence in court, where “the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”

Get this, Buzbee initially announced his intent to pursue claims against Combs on Saturday in an Instagram post, revealing that “many were minors” at the time of the alleged incidents. He wrote, “This group of brave individuals includes both men and women; many were minors when the abuse occurred. Some of these brave individuals reported the incidents to the police, others did not.”

Like with all these accusations, Buzbee described the accusations as “gut-wrenching and heartbreaking,” stating, “The violations against this group of individuals are mindboggling and can only be described as debauchery and depravity, exacted by powerful people against minors and the weak.”

If you have any doubt in Buzbee’s legal capabilities, his firm has a history of handling high-profile cases, including a July lawsuit against R&B singer Chris Brown, as well as representing 22 women who sued Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson for sexual misconduct during massage sessions from early 2020 to March 2021.
