Rappers are often fashion icons, setting trends for their fans to follow with their own style choices. They also love to employ alter egos, both to allow themselves to explore expanded creative themes and to sometimes provide distance between the personal and the professional.
Drake indulges both tendencies with the release of a new merchandise offering, the Anita Max Wynn trucker hat, which plays on a viral meme about Drake (of course). During a December livestream, Drake showed off the hat, calling the anime character on it his “alter ego” and explaining that the name is a homonym for “I need a max win,” a reference to his hobby, gambling. The character references his appreciation for anime, albeit in a more “safe for work” way than he has in the past.
The hat will release in two colorways, both of which will be available on Drake’s site, drakerelated.com, beginning today.
This isn’t the first time Drake has turned one of his viral moments into merch; he’s previously released merch related to criticisms about him such as his “Huge Fan Of Your Old Stuff” shirts. Fittingly enough, it’s the 10-year anniversary of his infamous lint roller moment, which he turned into promotion for his beloved Raptors. It just goes to show, you can make fun of Drake all you want, but he only grows stronger every time.
Tyrese playfully trolled Kanye West and Bianca Censori on Instagram, Sunday, with a video of his girlfriend, Zelie Timothy. In the caption, he referenced the other couple’s viral post joking about Cream of Wheat. “Dear Kanye, all wheat, hold the cream,” Tyrese wrote. He added: “All love………. Just loving on my carmel chocolate @zelietimothy #AllLove.”
Fans of Tyrese weren’t happy to see what they felt was him stooping to Kanye’s level. “How do you LOVE someone thar you sexually exploit like that??” one user asked. “It’s ok to be attracted to your woman/man, but their body should be one that ONLY your eyes behold. Sadly, your ‘woman’ likes all that cuz her standards are obviously questionable. Let’s pray Shayla gets treated better by her betroved when her time comes! Maybe start setting a better example Tyrese so you can insure she does! Kevin and Torrei Hart were engaged for a year before they got married in 2003. The couple had a private ceremony and were surrounded by family and friends. They started building their life together, and in 2005, they welcomed their first child — a daughter they named Heaven Leigh Hart. Three years later, Torrei gave birth to their son, Hendrix Hart.
As Kevin’s career began to take off with stand-up comedy specials and acting roles, the couple faced the challenges of maintaining a relationship in the demanding entertainment industry. His career soared to new heights, and his rising stardom meant he spent more time away from home. This also meant that Torrei spent more time alone raising their children. While on The Cali Kickback Podcast, Torrei Hart spoke about how her career as a comedian was not easy because she was married to Kevin. “Honestly, I think it’s hindered me more so than helped,” she said. “It just so happens the person that I married just blew up so big and so it’s me just working on getting out of a shadow and constantly putting in the work. But I was always in the comedy realm, that’s my life.”
She also gave a shout-out to comedian Katt Williams who put her out there to perform. Just this month, Torrei has been confirmed to join Katt on tour. She will accompany him on the remaining dates of his The Dark Matter Tour. This comes just after the comedian had slammed her ex-husband in his infamous Club Shay Shay interview. Kevin Hart has since then cleared the air on his feelings about Torrei and Katt touring together. He told TMZ: “I want everybody to win, hope the tour is great.”

He dropped his last project, Sassy, on September 17, 2021.
While this is not a LP, Dion is not short changing anyone on this EP,If My Jeans Could Talk. It features eight tracks with no features and three singles released ahead of it. Kyle spoke about his newest work and the inspiration behind it with Rated R&B. “I’m a bit more vulnerable, a bit more real, and a bit more carefree. I didn’t worry if anyone would like it, but instead focused on how it made me feel, and how I love it and how I wanted to create it for myself, for Kyle. But, I feel this is a project to give to my fans to let them know that I am back and here is an appetizer before my 3rd album.”
One of the singles is “Hang Me Out to Dry” and it is one of the more somber cuts on the tape. It sees Kyle sing about a frustrating relationship where both parties are not doing the best job of staying together. However, he feels that he is still being screwed over because there is a lack of communication. Other highlights include the intro track “Gimmie,” with its nice guitar shreds and easy-to-follow rhythm. One of his strengths are his falsetto vocals and they are all over this project. If you are wondering, they sound great. So far, this has the potential to be one of the best EPs of the year.
