Drake and J. Cole spent Wednesday, February 28, at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York for the second of back-to-back shows for their co-headlining It’s All A Blur Tour – Big As the What? However, a part of Drake is still in St. Louis, Missouri, where two fans were struck by a car and killed while leaving a Big As The What? concert on February 13. The victims were mother and daughter, 42-year-old Laticha Bracero and 21-year-old Alyssa Cordova.

Per XXL Magazine, Drake paused Wednesday’s show in Buffalo to deliver a broader message about gratitude in the victims’ honor.

“You never know what somebody else’s reality will be when they walk out of this building,” Drake told the audience in XXL‘s fan-taken video. “So, for this moment that all of us are together — all 18,000 people — what I want to do [is] I want you to turn to somebody that you do not know. Not somebody that you came with. I want you to turn to somebody that you do not know, I want you to look them in the eyes, and I want you to prove that you’re grateful for your life. I want you to take five seconds out of your day to make somebody else’s day. Just show them some love because you never know what comes next. Just some f*ckin’ love tonight in Buffalo, New York.”

Drake continued, “I think one of the most important things in life is the idea that you have two choices. You can either wake up every day, and you can be a piece of sh*t, or you can wake up every day and be a decent person, so I appreciate y’all being good for [inaudible]. Rest in peace to that young mother and her child.”

According to KTVI FOX 2 in St. Louis, the alleged driver has been identified as 22-year-old Monte Henderson, who has been out on bond and subsequently “ordered to undergo house arrest and wear a GPS ankle monitor.”

The local news outlet also reported the alleged sequence of events, as excerpted below.

“Henderson was charged with two counts of first-degree involuntary manslaughter and two counts of armed criminal action in the deaths of Laticha Bracero, 42, and Alyssa Cordova, 21.

The crash happened around 12:30 a.m. on February 14 at North 18th and Olive streets, near city police headquarters, in Downtown West as Bracero and Cordova were leaving a Drake concert.

The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department’s probable cause statement claims that Henderson was speeding in excess of 70 miles per hour in a 2020 Jeep Cherokee, driving eastbound on Olive Street. At some point, Henderson allegedly blew through a red light and sideswiped the front end of a 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander, which was traveling north on 18th Street. The Cherokee spun out and struck Bracero and Cordova, who were using the crosswalk on Olive.”

How Many Times Have Ray J & Princess Love Announced They Were Divorcing?

From their initial whirlwind romance to the highs of marriage and family, Ray J and Princess Love’s journey has been anything but conventional. For a few years now, the pair’s relationship has been a tumultuous rollercoaster. Their love story, played out in the public eye, has been an enthralling narrative of passion and drama. However, over the course of their marriage, the couple has announced their plan to divorce a surprising number of times. Following a new divorce announcement, the spotlight once again shines brightly on their union. While some onlookers wonder if they will actually go through with it this time, others believe it’s all just a PR stunt. It remains to be seen what direction things will go in this time. In the meantime, here’s a look at all the times Ray J and Princess Love have filed for divorce.

May 2020

Ray J and Princess Love married in August 2016 and welcomed their first child, Melody Love, in May 2018. Subsequently, their second child, Epik Ray, followed in January 2020. Unfortunately, Epik Ray arrived when things were shaky between his parents. Only four months after his birth, Princess Love filed for divorce from Ray J. Admittedly, in November 2019, the Love & Hip Hop star claimed that she would be filing for divorce. This was after Ray J allegedly left her and their daughter stranded in Las Vegas. However, most fans didn’t think she would actually go through with it, and the news took them by surprise in May 2020. Fans of the couple didn’t have to worry, however, as Princess Love later filed a request for dismissal on July 6, 2020.

September 2020

After Princess Love requested dismissal, the couple got back on track, or so we thought. While fans believed they had reconciled, Ray J completely shocked everyone when he filed for divorce in September 2020. This was just two months after Love’s request for dismissal, and it’s the last thing anyone expected. According to The Blast’s report, the singer asked for joint custody of his two children with Love, and things were looking quite real. However, he later called off the divorce in March 2021. Following this news, fans heaved another sigh of relief because the couple’s marriage had survived once again. However, unknown to the masses, there was more to come.

October 2021

In October 2021, another divorce announcement from Ray J dropped, and TMZ first reported it. They noted that, according to the legal documents, Ray J cited irreconcilable differences as the reason he filed for divorce. At this point, even onlookers were exhausted by the back-and-forth divorce drama between the two. Many expressed that they wished the couple would make up their minds and stick to a decision. However, that decision was not the fans’ call to make, and they waited to see how things would play out. Subsequently, the “Sexy Can I” singer reconciled with Princess Love and filed a request for dismissal. The dismissal was granted to him on March 1, 2023.

On February 26, 2024, Princess Love shared a statement on her Instagram account, announcing her divorce, again, from Ray J. “It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of our decision to divorce. After much reflection, discussion, and counseling, we have come to the difficult realization that our paths have diverged, and it is in the best interest of both of us to part ways,” Love wrote. This is the fourth time either of the two would be announcing a divorce, and it seems like it might be real this time. However, with Princess Love and Ray J, one can never really be sure.

Bardigang has been through it while waiting for Cardi B’s sophomore album, the follow-up to her Grammy-winning, record-obliterating 2018 debut, Invasion Of Privacy, and among Uproxx‘s “Most Anticipated Albums Of 2024.” On February 28, there’s reason for cautious optimism that one of hip-hop’s longest droughts is nearing an end, as Cardi B announced she will release her new freestyle “Like What” this Friday, March 1.

The diamond-certified rapper posted the song’s cover art on Instagram alongside the caption, “[eyeballs emoji] YA FOUND ME. Like What freestyle FRIDAY [microphone emoji].” Cardi also posted a snippet to her Instagram Story, in which she raps atop instrumentals from Missy Elliott’s “She’s A B**ch,” as aggregated on X below.

Cardi B’s announcement comes one day after Cardi teased a separate snippet on her since-expired Instagram Story, as captured below by MEFeater.

On February 26, Cardi B incited anticipation by blacking out all of her social media accounts, which has become the tell-tale signal that new music is coming. Cardi’s social media accounts have since been restored, but “Like What” is a promising sign that all of this could be the start of a larger album rollout.

Cardi B and Missy Elliott are Warner Music artists. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

Bhad Bhabie Addresses Haters Claiming She’s Not Ready For Motherhood

It goes without saying that Danielle Bregoli, AKA Bhad Bhabie, has come a long way since her viral appearance on Dr. Phil. The now 20-year-old went on to start a successful rap career and eventually began making some serious cash from her adult content on OnlyFans. Nowadays, Bhad Bhabie is preparing for yet another major life transition, as she recently revealed that she’s pregnant.

Earlier this month, the mother-to-be went all out with a Valentine’s Day-themed baby shower for her unborn daughter, who’s fittingly named Kali Love. While it’s clear that Bhad Bhabie is eager to meet her little one, not everyone has been so supportive. Since the announcement, she’s been met with quite a bit of criticism from those who believe she’s not ready to be a parent.

During a recent interview with PEOPLE, Bhad Bhabie addressed these comments, revealing that she doesn’t pay them too much mind. “I even see people saying, ‘Oh, I don’t think she’s ready. I don’t think she’s ready,’” she explained. “It’s like, ‘How can you, from your computer screen, determine if I’m ready to be a mother or not?’ […] I don’t even be on [social media], so how can you determine that?” she wondered. “You know? It’s just kind of off.”

“People who are nurses and doctors and therapists and lawyers,” she added. “Do you think if people went back and looked at them when they were 13 and 14 and judged them off that time that they would have that job and be held so high? They’re kids, they’re teenagers. But mine happened to be broadcasted all over the Internet, all over public television… I wish more people knew my story and really understood the things that made me who I am. And that they wouldn’t just look at a certain time of my life and expect me to be that person forever, especially when I was so young.” What do you think of Bhad Bhabie’s response to critics claiming she’s not ready to be a mother? Candace Owens Fires Back At Peter Rosenberg Over Joe Budden Interview Backlash

Recently, Joe Budden took to social media to tease his upcoming podcast episode featuring Candace Owens. As expected, this elicited quite a response from fans, and from Peter Rosenberg. He took to Twitter/X to react to the unexpected guest, making it clear that he wasn’t a fan of her or the interview. “So sick of the idea that conversations need to be had with bigots, trolls, and immoral a-holes,” he wrote. “Exchanging ideas among smart good people is useful… hearing a hateful hack babble on about hate is not worth anyone’s time.”

Of course, the divisive figure was quick to issue a response of her own. She hit back at Rosenberg with a series of Tweets, arguing that he has no grounds to prevent two Black people from having a conversation. She even went on to dub him a “plantation supervisor,” and to bring up Rosenberg’s father’s past.

Candace Owens Calls Peter Rosenberg A “Plantation Supervisor”

“I love this so much. I don’t know who Peter Rosenberg is but I want to thank him for freaking out about me and @JoeBudden speaking with one another. One of the topics me and Joe covered is who exactly is behind trying to prevent and fracture black American relationships via the media?” she began. “Literally who the hell is @Rosenbergradio, who grew up in one of the wealthiest towns in America, to step to two black people—who came from nothing— to tell them they shouldn’t speak. Who the hell is Peter Rosenberg? Serious question… Peter Rosenberg— I would like to invite you to shut the hell up when black people are speaking with one another.”

“Peter Rosenberg is a plantation supervisor,” Owens added. “His dad, MJ Rosenberg worked on Capitol Hill for Democratic Senators and House members for 20 years and then worked with AIPAC for 6 years thereafter… As Joe Budden and so discussed, there is a government vested interest in keeping black Americans ignorant while they are fed filth. A 70% illiteracy rate is proof of that.” What do you think of Candace Owens’ response to Peter Rosenberg’s comments about her interview with Joe Budden? Do you agree with her or not? 2Pac’s Handwritten Lyrics To “Throw Ya Handz Up” Up For Auction

In the world of hip-hop memorabilia, 2pac is one of the biggest names. Earlier this year a ring he wore in his final public appearance fetched a million dollar price tag at auction. Reports claimed that it was actually Drake who bought it. Fittingly, the rapper was spotted just a few days later sporting the ring. Last month, an autographed ticket from a San Francico show early in Pac’s career was also sold at auction. It fetched an impressive price tag of its own when it was eventually sold.

Now a new piece of 2pac memorabilia is up for auction and it’s an even more intimate item. A paper with the lyrics of Pac’s track “Throw Ya Handz Up” that’s handwritten by Shakur himself is currently up for auction. It features 16 lines of lyrics from the song and was originally a part of one of the rapper’s lyric books. “The song is one of Pac’s finest protest songs and wasn’t released until 1995 on the Pump Ya Fist inspired by the Black Panthers album,” the auction listing reads. “Handwritten lyrics to published songs from Tupac are scarce and some of the most coveted pieces of Tupac memorabilia in the hobby,” it concludes. Check out the page itself below.

Handwritten 2pac Lyrics Being Auctioned Off

Much of the news surrounding 2pac recently has surrounded Keefe D. He’s the man who was arrested and charged with his murder last year. Keefe D has a long history of going on various shows and podcasts and discussing details of the case. Some of those details likely contributed to his eventual arrest.

His trial isn’t scheduled to start until later this year but new developments are already happening. Earlier this week, a retired cop claimed that Keefe D’s nephew bragged about and confessed to being responsible for 2pac’s murder. What do you think of a handwritten lyric sheet from 2pac being auctioned off? How much do you expect the piece to eventually sell for? Let us know in the comment section below.
