Last year, Playboi Carti fans got a pretty substantial announcement. He revealed he was going on tour and bringing basically his entire Opium label with him. But the hype shows faced delays and rescheduling quickly after the announcement that left the entire tour in jeopardy. With the originally announced dates earlier this year having already passed, fans recently got a painful update on the tour status. Tickets now read that the shows have been canceled and fans who purchased them are receiving their money back.

In the comments, fans react to the cancellation of the shows. “Who is not surprised???” and “not surprised at all” two responses read. Many were originally using the tour as potential evidence that Carti could be working on a new album after all. Now, many have let go of that notion entirely. “That album is never coming” and “There was no Music after all…” two more responses read. Playboi Carti Tour Is Officially Off

Over the weekend, Playboi Carti made an appearance on the rap album fans couldn’t stop talking about. After more than a year of teasing Future and Metro Boomin finally unleashed their collaborative album WE DON’T TRUST YOU. Though they have features like The Weeknd, Travis Scott, Rick Ross, and of course, Carti, almost all of the attention was taken by Kendrick Lamar who uses his verse to take shots at Drake and J. Cole.

All four of the people who feature on the track “Type Sh*t” made its debut at Rolling Loud in advance of the album’s release. During Future and Metro Boomin’s Sunday night headlining set, they were joined by both Playboi Carti and Travis Scott to perform the song together for the first time. However, now it seems like Ohtani is in the middle of a hurricane looking to escape.

It became public knowledge late last week that Ohtani’s interpreter, Ippei Mizhurra had been reportedly stealing from Ohtani and using that money to place illegal sports bets. When the news first broke, most already assumed that the new face of the Dodgers was somehow involved in the messy situation. However, on Monday, he faced the media and claimed that Mizhurra was the only person involved in the sports betting crimes.

Shohei Ohtani Faces Heavy Criticisms Over Sports Betting Scandal

While he didn’t answer questions from the media, the Dodgers biggest off-season signing let the media know he had no dealings in this scandal. “I never bet on baseball or any other sports, or never have asked somebody to do it on my behalf. I have never went through a bookmaker to bet on sports.” While this is far from the end of this saga, Ohtani is standing his ground that he had no idea this was even happening.

Baseball isn’t new to betting scandals. The greatest hitter the game has ever seen Pete Rose, has been banned from baseball for years after it was found out that he was betting on baseball. There’s no question the MLB will take this issue seriously. It’s not like they allowed player’s to take performance enhancing drugs to make the game more exciting to watch. Takeoff Blamed For His Own Murder By Defendants In Wrongful Death Lawsuit

Takeoff's Solo Album 'The Last Rocket' Set for November Release

It’s been almost two years since the tragic death of Migos member and the court battle continues as to who was responsible for the 28-year-old superstar’s death. Now, it is being reported that one of the defendant’s in the wrongful death lawsuit is alleging that Takeoff was, at least in part, responsible for his own death and are seeking to get the lawsuit against their company dismissed.

Nine months following Takeoff’s murder, his mother, Titania Davenport, filed a million dollar lawsuit against the Houston venue where Takeoff, whose given name is Kirsnick Khari Tiquon Ball, was killed but now the owners of the venue want the lawsuit dismissed against them.

In the court filing, the Midway Companies, LLC stated, “Decedent Kirsnick Khari Tiquon Ball [TakeOff] failing to exercise ordinary care for his own safety.” BTO Billiards, the actual venue, followed in Midway’s footsteps, stating in the suit, “There is a reasonable probability that the occurrence in question as well as the damages complained of were proximately caused, in whole or in part, by unknown criminals who participated in unlawful gambling and/or the illegal possession of firearms.” They added, “Defendant is not liable to Plaintiffs because Plaintiff’s own acts or omissions proximately caused or contributed to Plaintiff’s injuries.”

Two men, Patrick Xavier Clark and Cameron Joshua, have been arrested and charged in Takoff’s death.

Joshua was arrested in Houston on November 22, 2022 and charged with felony unlawful carry of a weapon. The 16-year-old rapper, who goes by the name Lil Cam and is allegedly affiliated with J. Prince Jr.’s Mob Ties Records, is believed to have been in attendance at the private party where TakeOff was murdered.

Diddy’s House In LA Was Reportedly Raided By Homeland Security In A Sex Trafficking Investigation

Diddy’s Los Angeles mansion was reportedly raided by Homeland Security today in connection with a federal sex trafficking investigation. According to Fox’s Los Angeles affiliate, federal agents not only raided the house — which is registered to Bad Boy Films and one of Diddy’s daughters — but also detained several people.

The embattled music impresario has been under severe scrutiny since November of 2023, when his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura filed a lawsuit against him for sexual assault and abuse. Although the suit was settled the next day, within a week, two more women had filed simliar lawsuits, offering their own stories of mistreatment at the hands of the Bad Boy Entertainment founder.

Early this year, yet another lawsuit was filed, this time by music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, who said that while living and working with Diddy during the recording of his most recent album, the mogul had engaged in a plethora of questionable behaviors, and even participated in a shooting at a Los Angeles studio attributed to an attempted robbery.

While Diddy has denied all of the allegations against him, he also experienced hits to his standing at businesses he founded; in November, he stepped down from his role as chairman at Revolt Media, and since then, his Hulu show was canceled, several brands departed his Empower Global marketplace, and he sold his stakes in DeLeón Tequila.
