As Drake embarked on his It’s All A Blur Tour alongside frequent collaborator 21 Savage, much of the attention he received was centered on his footwear for the tour. His unique sneakers got fans just what model he was wearing, as they didn’t appear to be any of his usual favorite Nike/Jordan models. He eventually revealed they were from his Nike-backed brand NOCTA; the shoes in question were the NOCTA x Nike Hot Step 2.

Nearly a year later, the shoes made their retail debut via the SNKRS app as a “Shock Drop” in the “Total Orange” colorway. They quickly sold out, but if you missed out on them the first time, there’s good news: The “Total Orange” Hot Step 2 is returning to SNKRS on April 4. They’ll be available on NOCTA.com on April 3.

Bfb Da Packman’s Unique Style Is Apparent Throughout “Forget Me Not”

The hype around Bfb Da Packman and his new album Forget Me Not was heavily influenced by Drake. The Canadian superstar was going to make an appearance on track three, “Olympic S*** Talkin.” However, the day the project hit streaming, Bfb and Drizzy fans were severely disappointed. Outside of the up-and-coming Michigan MC getting a huge co-sign, people were expecting this to be moment in which The Boy responded to Kendrick Lamar.

When hip-hop fans first found out about this news, everyone was left in the dark. But Bfb Da Packman revealed that because of the “Like That” verse, it put his Drake feature on hold. This clearly signified that we were not going to get a diss response, but it still would have been cool to see these two work together. Drake has been giving Bfb Da Packman flowers for about a year and a half. Hopefully, we get that collab one day.

Listen To Forget Me Not By Bfb Da Packman

So, without an icon not making Forget Me Not, is this project still worth a listen? The short answer is hell yes! Bfb Da Packman is bringing some creative flare with the hilarious bars. The beats are also a standout, with Caasi handling most of the production. He brings menacing, head-nodding instrumentals across the tight 40-minute, 15-track album. One of the many gut-busting moments includes this bar from Bfb on “Rice.” “P***y so wet, gotta sit that s*** in rice.” There are tons of gems like that, and this project will keep you on your toes for the next “WTF” moment.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new album, Forget Me Not, by Bfb Da Packman? Is this the rapper’s best project of his career, why or why not? What songs are you gravitating toward and why? Ed Lover Thinks 50 Cent Is Going Too Far With His Diddy Trolling

Ed Lover says that 50 Cent has crossed the line when it comes to trolling his longtime rival, Diddy. Discussing the feud between the two as well as the bevy of civil lawsuits Diddy is facing on his C’Mon Son podcast, Lover argued that 50 is kicking a man when he’s down. “[A]s much as I love 50, I think 50 is stepping over the line now. I really do,” Lover said. “He’s kicking the sh*t out this n***a while he’s down.”

The comments come after 50 compared Diddy to Jeffrey Epstein in a post on social media over the weekend. He also has repeatedly discussed his plans to make Diddy’s ongoing scandal into a documentary. While many fans have been enjoying 50’s jokes, his latest post did result in some backlash from fans on Instagram.

After sharing a photo of Denzel Washington, 50 remarked that the police would come looking for Diddy’s alleged tapes soon. “Poor fif. It’s OK to say your feelings are hurt! This crazy obsession you have with Puff is getting out of hand,” one user commented. Another wrote: “If Puff did what they’re accusing him of then he’s gonna get whatever is due in court but to repeatedly troll at this point is getting corny, n***a ain’t even been charged with a crime yet, our people something else because no other race does shit like this to one of theirs.”

Homixide Gang Are Electric On Their New Single “HI-VOLTAGE”

Homixide Gang are back with a new track. The duo has dropped the track “HI-VOLTAGE”, and its one of their most exciting releases to date. The energy of rappers Homixide Meechie and Homixide Beno live up to the title, as they spit over an earworm instrumental produced by UpMadeIt, jstcap and longtime Weeknd collaborator Cxdy.

Homixide Gang is signed to Playboi Carti’s Opium imprint, and their past songs have generally seen take a harder sound that their label boss. On “HI-VOLTAGE”, however, Meechie and Beno trade it the bass hits and synth of a track like “Lifestyle” for a looser sound. The way they flow and the instrumental are much closer in style to what Carti did on 2020’s Whole Lotta Red, and he melodic approach suits the duo.

The sonic qualities of “HI-VOLTAGE” might sound victorious, but the lyrical content is bleak. Meechie and Beno rap about the violence they’ve both witnessed and caused in the streets. The gritty music video for the track ramps up this sense of danger by having the duo recreate scenes from the 2002 gangster film Shottas. The “HI-VOLTAGE” video was shot in the Miami neighborhood of Little Haiti.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “HI-VOLTAGE,” by Homixide Gang? Is this one of the duo’s strongest tracks, or one of their weakest? What is your favorite element of the track and why? Which rapper had the better verse? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. O.T. Genasis took the time to apologize to Keyshia Cole during the latest stop on The Love Hard Tour, following their recent feud. In doing so, he admitted he was in the wrong and described her as one of “the sweetest” and “greatest personalities.” The disagreement between the two stemmed from Genasis covering her 2005 song, “Love,” without permission.

“We was kinda going at it at one point, and listen, it was me,” Genasis began. “I just want to sit here today, I want to tell you I apologize to you…” From there, Cole joked: “I did call you a Ninja Turtle.” Genasis continued: “I want to tell you I’m sorry. And when I met this woman, she is the sweetest, one of the greatest personalities, the greatest sense of humor, she’s really sent from God. She got a very, very, very good soul.”
