Justin Bieber Doesn’t Own Cellphone: “I Learned How To Have Boundaries”

It’s Bieber Mania season now that we’re on the countdown to the release of Justin Bieber’s album Justice. The project is slated to arrive next Friday and the singer has been in full promotion mode as he prepares for his takeover. It was just last night (March 10) when Bieber shared the potential tracklist to the album that includes features from Chance The Rapper, Giveon, Daniel Caesar, and The Kid LAROI, and his fans haven’t stopped speculating as to what they can expect. Bieber covers the most recent issue of Billboard where he speaks about his new record and cutting back on cellphone usage.

The singer shared with Billboard that he uses an iPad to communicate with people and doesn’t even own a cellphone anymore. “I definitely learned how to have boundaries, and I just don’t feel like I owe anybody anything,” said Bieber. “That has helped me to be able to just say no and just be firm in it and know that my heart [wants] to help people, but I can’t do everything. I want to sometimes, but it’s just not sustainable.”

Justice will mark Bieber’s sixth studio album and the release follows last year’s R&B-ish project, Changes. “I think this is the first time in my life where I’ve actually enjoyed the process of releasing an album,” said the singer. He also reflected on his past mistakes. “I can talk about that part of my life and not feel like, ‘Oh, man. I was such a bad person,’ because I’m not that person anymore,” he adde. “I also have done the work to know why I was making those decisions. I know where that pain was coming from, that caused me to act the way I was acting.”

“Everything was about success, benchmarks and such, and then I was just still empty, you know? All my relationships were suffering, but I had all this success and all of this money, and it just wasn’t fulfilling for me.”

Coi Leray And Lil Durk Deal With The Remnants Of A Get-Together In Their ‘No More Parties’ Video

Coi Leray’s 2021 is off to a great start and it comes as a result of her “No More Parties” track. The single was released at the end of January and quickly found success on TikTok thanks to a short video with the song playing in the background that tallied more than 42 million views in just a week. Giving it a second boost, she tapped Lil Durk for a remix of the song, which helped the record reach its peak of No. 32 on the Billboard singles chart. Nearly a month after the remix was dropped, Leray and Durk join forces for a new visual for the song.

While the motto of “no more parties” is clear to Leray, her friends failed to receive the message as they threw a wild get-together at her home while she was gone. Upon her return, she’s left to clean up the mess that was left behind. From Solo cups to unwarranted guests, Leray is tasked with removing all of the unwanted components from her home with some well-supplied help from Durk.

“No More Parties” stands as a great follow-up to her 2020 EP, Now Or Never. The six-track effort was backed by guest appearances from Gunna, Kiana Lede, Sevyn Streeter, and Fetty Wap. As for Lil Durk, the video arrives days after he appeared on The Tonight Show to perform “Still Trappin” and “Stay Down” with 6lack.

Dr. Dre’s Wife Nicole Young Denied Emergency Restraining Order: Report

As rumors about his alleged relationship with Love & Hip Hop Hollywood star Apryl Jones run rampant, Dr. Dre continues to face-off against his estranged wife in court. The two were married for over two decades and while they remained relatively unproblematic throughout that time, their divorce announcement has uncovered outrageous allegations and requests. It’s been reported that Nicole Young wants $2 million per month in temporary spousal support and she accuses her megaproducer husband of engaging in multiple affairs. With a billion dollars on the line, this divorce is being watched closely by fans.

On Thursday (March 11), TMZ reported that Nicole filed for an emergency domestic violence restraining order because of lyrics spouted by her ex on a track that was released last month. It’s stated that Dre called his wife a “greedy b*tch” and in court documents, Nicole claimed, “He has upped the ante and is now outright threatening me to keep my mouth shut or else.” She also said that she feels threatened and considering her previous allegations of enduring physical abuse at the hands of her husband, Nicole believed the restraining order would be granted. A judge didn’t quite see things from her perspective.

TMZ reports that the judge cited “insufficient evidence” to support Nicole’s claims and denied her request. Dr. Dre’s attorney reportedly responded to these latest accusations on behalf of her client and noted that the award-winner has only spoken to his ex “one time since she filed for divorce in June 2020” when she visited him in the hospital as he recovered from a brain aneurysm at the top of the year. He reportedly continues to deny any and all accusations of domestic violence.

Claudia Jordan Hopes Zaya Wade Doesn’t “Feel Any Pressure” Or Have “Regrets”

The interview between Michelle Obama and 13-year-old Zaya Wade has caused pushback in the industry. The teen daughter of NBA icon Dwyane Wade and stepdaughter to Gabrielle Union came forward last year to announce that she would be living as a transgender girl, and since that time, the Wade family has been the subject of criticism. They’ve banded together in support of Zaya, but after the teen interviewed the former First Lady, people like B2K’s J-Boog and rapper Lil Mama came forward. J-Boog called it “demonic” and Lil Mama spoke to the “depopulation” agenda, and now Fox Soul’s Cocktails with Queens are adding their two cents.

“Some people are not properly articulating how uncomfortable they may feel about a child being pushed—what they think, they think the child is being pushed to the front of the agenda. Pushed to be the face of this. If Zaya is one thousand percent okay with that, then I’m all for it,” said Claudia Jordan before she was interrupted by LisaRaye McCoy.

“Or, Claudia, is people surprised or taken aback by the push of changing him to a her surgically,” added LisaRaye. Claudia responded, “I think that… It’s a lot. I feel like it’s really none of my business but this is our job to talk about these things. When you’re going through puberty early on in your life, it was so many thoughts in your head. I didn’t know what I was supposed to be or what was normal. What are these weird feelings I’m having? And I mean weird to me.”

“So, I just hope that there are no regrets later on,” Claudia continued. “I want Zaya at the end of it to not feel any pressure. If Zaya ever felt like, ‘You know what, I don’t feel this way anymore.’ Does Zaya feel this uncomfortable—this ridiculous amount of pressure to not be able to go back? Not saying that she wants to, but I just feel like it’s such a young age to have so many, so much pressure on her shoulders.”

That being said, Claudia Jordan doesn’t believe that anyone should come down on Michelle Obama for encouraging and uplifting a child. “There should be no criticism for that,” she added. Vivica Fox called Michelle and Zaya’s exchange “beautiful” and noted that Zaya “is happy in the skin she’s in.” Check out a clip of the discussion below.

Rihanna Is Reportedly Preparing To Launch A ‘Fenty Hair’ Line

While the majority of Rihanna fans are waiting for a new album from the singer, as her last one arrived in 2016 with Anti, the long wait don’t mean that she’s spent the last five years doing little to nothing. Rihanna has been hard at work building her Fenty empire, one that began in 2017 thanks to the launch of Fenty Beauty. The following year she would start her Savage X Fenty lingerie line and in 2019, her Fenty fashion house was officially born. After debuting Fenty Skin last year, Rihanna is preparing to bring a new line to her company, that being Fenty Hair.

According to Harper’s Bazaar, the singer filed a trademark application for Fenty Hair on March 3. The publication reports that the trademark looks to cover “everything from styling, straightening, relaxing and waving products, as well as hair color and even hair glitter.” The news comes after the singer decided to shut down her Fenty fashion house last month, one that was launched in collaboration with LVMH. Despite this, it was also announced last month ago that Savage X Fenty’s net worth reached $1 billion.

After hearing news of the new line, fans celebrated the news on Twitter and one support shared a great reaction to it. “Can’t wait to be around the house in my Fenty furniture, Fenty Skin on, in my Savage X Fenty, doing my Fenty Hair, wearing Fenty X Puma, while listening to absolutely NOTHING,” they said, throwing a slight jab at the singer’s yet-unreleased ninth album.

SpotemGottem is climbing the charts thanks to TikTok challenges and his fellow rappers shining a light on the single, and Mulatto threw her hat in the ring.

Along with the Georgia rapper’s “BeatBox Freestyle” comes an accompanying visual where Mulatto takes viewers on a behind-the-scenes look at what it’s like for her on the set of a photoshoot. She dons different looks as she spits her usual boastful bars and fans may recognize a few of those wardrobe changes because the rapper has been sharing photos from the video shoot to her Instagram.
