Offset Weighs In On Cardi B & Stefon Diggs Romance Rumors

Cardi B and her ex Offset have dealt with plenty of ups and downs in their relationship over the past few weeks. Late last month, for example, the “Enough” rapper took to Instagram Live to put the former Migo on blast. She threatened to take him to court, insisted that she’s moved on from their relationship, and more. He responded by accusing her of sleeping with someone else while she was pregnant with their child, suggesting his friends warned him about her, and more.

Nowadays, their feud appears to have mostly fizzled out for now. The two of them were even spotted at the same club last weekend, though that appeared to be an accident, as they were sure to keep their distance. There have even been some rumors swirling that Cardi has allegedly moved on with none other than Stefon Diggs.

She opted not to address these rumors head-on, instead calling them “funny” and “cute.” Now, according to AllHipHop, Offset has weighed in on them as well. The outlet posted a poll on Instagram asking fans whether or not they believe the rumors about Cardi and the football player. Interestingly enough, Offset cast his vote. It’s unclear exactly what he had to say about the speculation, but social media users are amused regardless. “Nahhhhhhh what did Set vote? Lol,” one asked in the comments section. “What makes it funnier is the fact that Offset voted and they still live in the same house,” another said.

What do you think about Offset participating in a poll about his ex Cardi B’s love life? Does this surprise you or not? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Bruiser Wolf & Zack Fox Trade Fantastic Verses On “Mountain Lion”

Bruiser Wolf has become one of hip-hop’s lovable goofballs/personalities this year. This all thanks to the tutelage of Detroit legend and underground stalwart Danny Brown. He made his big appearance on the latter’s Quaranta album from last November on the track “Y.B.P.” This has helped push his solo career, which did start at the top of 2024, to new heights. He dropped “Dope Boy,” which would go on to be the lead and only single for his breakout project, My Story Got Stories. He did have a 2021 tape Dope Game Stupid, but this one is going to help push him into the spotlight much more.

Since that project’s release, Bruiser Wolf has gone on to give us his F1LTHY collab “Rope Chain” (a pretty big surprise) and “Brick Up” prior to that. With that in mind, there’s a chance we are heading toward another new tape, perhaps near the beginning of 2025. We say that because we are back listening to another single from Bruiser Wolf, “Mountain Lion.” It features another undergrounder in Zack Fox, who brings along a longtime producer along for the ride, CONNIE. The producer gives them a stripped back instrumental, which is pretty much sample flip that features the repetition of “loving you” woven into each of their verses. It’s got a nice guitar riff laced in as well, but this track is more about Bruiser and Zack’s stellar yet totally different portions, tonally speaking.

Latto Leaves Her “Brokey” Behind In New Music Video

Latto continues to roll out Sugar Honey Iced Tea, and what would that process look like without a visual for one of the album’s biggest hits? The “Brokey” music video is finally here, and with colorful visual effects, guests like Rubi Rose, and a couple of interesting set pieces, it certainly succeeds at crafting an engaging, fun, and fitting treatment. Not only that, but the Clayton County femcee also included a short visual for a snippet of the track “There She Go,” so fans got a little bit extra. Overall, it’s definitely a music video highlight for the year, and one that shows her charisma and sense of humor quite well.

However, folks who remember the conversation around this song when it dropped know that it was a pretty controversial discussion. Many felt that “Brokey” looked down on less successful citizens who couldn’t afford luxurious gifts for their partners, a narrative that Latto quickly sought to combat. “I hate that y’all think I was calling hard workers brokeys [broken heart emoji],” she tweeted. “So I got $10k for whoever make the best video at they job to brokey & I’ll fly u out to be in the music video…no mo waiting til ur bday to go outta town. Tag me & hashtag #Brokey so I can see them all.”

Latto’s “Brokey”: Stream & Watch The Music Video

Then, a woman went viral for getting fired from her job at Waffle House for doing the “Brokey” challenge, but she ended up winning. Latto flew her out and she appeared in the music video. Seeing this full-circle moment was a treat to see, even if the visual doesn’t do much to go against the initial criticism of the song. Regardless, this context does make the viewing experience pretty interesting for those in the know.

Meanwhile, other Latto fans are more concerned with rampant relationship rumors around her, which she recently discussed with Angel Reese and Mariah The Scientist for the former’s podcast. Alas, they are no closer to finding her man for certain. Still, thanks to tracks and music videos like “Brokey,” we can assume that whoever Latto’s partner is has the will and money to treat her lavishly.

BigXthaPlug Brings Charm & Realness To His Sophomore Album “TAKE CARE”

Dallas, Texas native BigXthaPlug has stomped into this year with some big expectations. After two successful projects, AMAR and THE BIGGEST, he earned XXL Freshman honors. He joined fellow Texans That Mexican OT and 4batz on that list and it’s going to be interesting to see who separates themselves from one another. So far, we may have to give the slight edge to BigXthaPlug, as he arguably has the best project out all of them now with TAKE CARE. This is his sophomore alum, and it’s all him. The features are getting tossed out for this one, as BigX is looking to show us what makes him who he is as a person.

One of those is being a dad, as he expressed how much it means to him that he is one with Apple Music. The father of two tells Ebro, “My kids is what drives me. That’s the reason when I’m tired and I get up every day when I don’t get up, they’re the reason.” He makes sure to highlight just how much they inspire him on “Therapy Session,” an immediate fan favorite. “When I be away from ’em I cry / ‘Cause I love ’em the most, I’d hate for them to ever say that their daddy wasn’t right on they side.” On top of giving fans “The Largest” look behind the curtain, his producers, namely BandPlay, are bringing that Southern charm thanks to some terrific soulful sample usage from all eras.

In The Kid Laroi’s ‘Aperol Spritz’ Video He Is The Ultimate Woman Whispering Blue-Eyed Bachelor, But His Heart Is Taken

The Kid Laroi quickly found fame following his musical breakout, and he’s been keen on documenting it all. With popular come admirers of all kinds. However, luckily for girlfriend and fellow musician Uproxx cover star Tate McRae he’s a one woman type of guy or so his new single, “Aperol Spritz” states.

In the official Alex Lill directed video for “Aperol Spritz,” The Kid Laroi doesn’t break that vow despite becoming the ultimate woman whispering blue-eyed bachelor. With women of all shapes, sizes, and shades chasing after him, The Kid Laroi lets the crowd know his hard is happily taken.

“I drink Henn’, she drink Aperol Spritz / Girl, I promise you ain’t had it like this / There’s a whole lotta girls up in here, but / Can’t nobody f*ck with my b*tch / My favorite hobby is probably gettin’ rich / I see them talk, but they hardly on sh*t / There’s a whole lotta girls up in here / Can’t nobody f*ck with my b*tch,” raps The Kid Laroi.

The Kid Laroi’s bragging carries on throughout each verse. But instead of addressing the thirsty ladies, he turns his attention to his special lady, rapping: “And I know you out with friends, but I promise, baby, ain’t sh*t changed / And I ain’t seen you in so long, but it’s worth every minute I wait / Take you shoppin’, I’ma spend it on you just for love / I know you told me that you’re scared, but I’ma switch it up ’cause / You brought two friends, and they both fine / Hey, but you don’t gotta worry, baby, you’re mine.”

Kanye West Accused Of Wanting To Sleep With Bianca Censori’s Mom By Harassment Accuser

Kanye West continues to deal with a sexual harassment lawsuit against him from his former assistant at Yeezy, Lauren Pisciotta. For those unaware, she made the allegation that he sent her inappropriate text messages throughout their working relationship from 2021 to 2022, during which she also served as Chief of Staff. In a new alleged legal filing reportedly obtained by Hollywood Unlocked, Pisciotta and her legal team claimed that Ye texted her about his desire to sleep with his wife Bianca Censori’s mother. It’s important to note that, at the time of this alleged incident (September 28, 2022), West and Censori hadn’t married yet.

In the Instagram post below, you can see some of Lauren Pisciotta’s specific claims about this, mostly communicated through alleged text message exchanges. Not only that, but she alleged that Kanye West actually texted Bianca Censori about this, although there was no note of her reaction to this. While this is a pretty scandalous and salacious allegation, it doesn’t have any bearing on this case. The focus is how Ye allegedly harassed Pisciotta through inappropriate text message and phone call interactions, as well as workplace incidents. This alleged boasting and expression certainly falls under that, but it’s for how he allegedly spoke on this with Pisciotta, not because of the alleged desire itself.

Kanye West Faces New Allegations From Lauren Pisciotta

However, this news fell during a relatively ironic time, as Kanye West and Bianca Censori seemed to disprove divorce rumors recently thanks to a Tokyo shopping trip they went on. Nevertheless, it’s unclear whether or not they plan to respond to these allegations in court. Ye has already settled some of his open lawsuits quietly, such as one for battery. As for this one, though, it seems like it’s still in a relative limbo period.

Of course, all that could change very quickly. Regardless, we doubt that Kanye West is paying it much mind if Touré’s recent claims about his goings-on are true. According to the hip-hop journalist, the Chicago artist is hunkering down in Tokyo, living at a hotel and self-producing his next album. We will see whether his Japan stay also results in a legal response to these allegations.

GloRilla “GLORIOUS”: The 7 Best Beats

2024 is the year of GloRilla. The Memphis rapper’s stock has been on the rise, thanks to a series of high-profile singles (“Yeah Glo!” and “TGIF”) and collaborations (“Wanna Be” with Megan Thee Stallion and its Cardi B-assisted remix). Her mix of self-empowerment and street bars quickly made her a fan favorite. When she made herself known in 2022 after signing with Yo Gotti’s Collective Music Group, she developed a base of women and men alike, signaling a universal appeal that not every rapper in the mainstream today can say they have. In April, she released her second mixtape, Ehhthang Ehhthang, twelve tracks that show the MC staying true to her roots en route to what would become a banner year for the 25-year-old.

GloRilla’s 2024 takeover culminated with the release of her debut album, GLORIOUS. In true GloRilla fashion, GLORIOUS features a number of hard-hitting beats, in line with the sound of modern Memphis hip-hop. But, she also expands her palette with some more gospel-inspired sounds that fall out of her typical crunk and trap comfort zones. The result is a unique soundscape that often complements GloRilla and the extensive list of featured artists very well. Here are the seven best beats on GLORIOUS.

7. “RAIN DOWN ON ME” (feat. Kirk Franklin, Chandler Moore, Kierra Sheard & Maverick City Music)

GloRilla was born Gloria Hallelujah Woods. Perhaps it is unsurprising that a woman with Hallelujah as her middle name would make such a gospel-inspired track, but that is exactly what “RAIN DOWN ON ME” is. The track features gospel titan Kirk Franklin, Chandler Moore, Kierra Sheard, and Maverick City Music. It is a unique track on GLORIOUS, pulling off an effective gospel/trap mixture. The piano and choral adlibs sound like something one would hear at a Black church. It retains the spirit of GloRilla’s typical flair with an 808 pattern that gives her an actual beat to rap to.

The final minute sees the track go from a somewhat standard hip-hop song to a full-on “take us to church” moment. Franklin shifts the spotlight onto the choir, who sing over what has become a full gospel track, complete with hand clapping and an organ. The complete product is something that is not what GloRilla normally brings to the table. It is an admirable tonal shift after the line of party bangers and Trap & B that precedes it.

6. “DON’T DESERVE” (feat. Muni Long)

“DON’T DESERVE,” the seventh track on GLORIOUS, is a much softer cut. Produced by Hawky, Drumdummie, Fraxille, and Max Hummel, it is a song about valuing oneself and wanting friends to value themselves. The beat is sentimental, with a piano loop that makes it reminiscent of an early Polo G ballad–808s, piano. The bass will still sound good in the car. But, the beat’s sparseness is what makes it effective. It does not overwhelm and gives space for an impassioned performance by R&B star Muni Long, who steals the show vocally. “DON’T DESERVE” is not as high-energy of a song as “TGIF” or “HOW I LOOK.” However, it is a welcome entry on the tracklist. Its laidback beat and subdued delivery (by GloRilla’s standards) makes it a lowkey high point on GLORIOUS.

5. “HOLLON”

“HOLLON,” the album’s second track, is another one that revisits the crunk well. Horns, an ominous bell, and some more big bass make the track (produced by SkipOnDaBeat and FnZ) go. It’s another track that has a darker feel to it. If a DJ played this song at a party, it would probably be in everyone’s best interest to move out of the way.

It’s an early hit on the tracklist that sets the tone for what to expect across the rest of GloRilla’s debut album: a series of loud, banging beats, and for Glo’s confident flow to match the energy of those loud, banging, beats. “HOLLON” is another high point on the production side of the album. It’s one that longtime fans of GloRilla will surely gravitate toward, as it sounds like something that would have been right at home on both Ehhthang Ehhthang and the preceding Anyway, Life’s Great… mixtapes.

4. “LET HER COOK”

“LET HER COOK” is the thirteenth track on GLORIOUS, and it is an appropriately named one. Produced by London Jae, Pooh Beatz, Squat, and Coupe, this track is another banger. The horn returns, and the particular loop on this track has a similar pattern to Pharoahe Monch’s “Simon Says,” though it is not quite as in-your-face as that track is. There is a dinging sound deep in the mix that emphasizes her bars like the “ayy” adlib does on “TGIF.” Of course, the bass is once again at the top of mind. It feels like Glo’s intention on every song is to create a track that’ll bump regardless of where it’s being played. Like so many of the production choices on GLORIOUS, this is another great one. Even towards the end of the album, GloRilla wants to keep the energy high, something that she excels at doing.

3. “TGIF”

It’s 7 P.M. Friday, it’s 95 degrees / I ain’t got no n***a, and no n***a ain’t got me” has become an oft-repeated opening line for many this year. Those bars represent a level of freedom that comes with being out of a relationship. They also would not hit as hard if they were said over any other beat. “TGIF” remains a 2024 highlight for Glo.

Produced by Zenjikozen, Brophy, and Jess Jackson, “TGIF” is a downtempo track with a persistent horn and thumping bass, as well as a repeated “ayy” adlib that punctuates many of the bars on the song. No one could have predicted “TGIF” was going to dominate the rap game in 2024 as much as it has. It is one of the only hip-hop songs to consistently be in the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100 since its June release. That is a particularly impressive feat as the charts have favored pop and country the most this year. It’s easy to see why, as like much of GLORIOUS, “TGIF” is radio and party-ready. It is a 2024 banger and even on an album full of new material, a standout, anthemic track.

2. “STEP” (feat. Bossman Dlow)

“STEP,” the album’s twelfth track features another rising star, Tallahassee rapper and recent XXL Freshman, Bossman Dlow. The bass-heavy beat sounds like GloRilla taking a trip into Dlow’s world. The track has a type of bounce that can really only be found on a Florida rapper’s song. In that regard, it takes Glo a bit out of her comfort zone. But in the nascent years of her career, she has shown the ability to flow over just about anything you ask her to.

Her and Dlow sound at home over the bass, piano, and bell (which underscores the entire track). It is another track that, like “HOW I LOOK,” and like much of the tracklist, is immediately ready to make its way into DJ sets at most parties. The beat doubles as an opportunity for both Glo and Dlow to showcase their talents, and those who may have been previously unfamiliar with Dlow can get a good feel for exactly what he brings to his own music on “STEP.”

1. “HOW I LOOK” (feat. Megan Thee Stallion)

“HOW I LOOK” is the tenth track on GLORIOUS and the latest collaboration between GloRilla and Megan Thee Stallion. It is also the hardest song on the album. The production, handled by Yo Gotti (who has thirteen credits across the album’s fifteen tracks), Go Grizzly, B100, and London Jae, is the type of trunk-rattling sound fans have come to expect from those in the Memphis scene. It’s dark but still energetic, with some heavy bass and an eerie whistling sound buried in the mix. It feels like something that Duke Deuce, a Memphis contemporary, would rap over, and it is the most that Glo dips into the Memphis crunk sound on the album.

“HOW I LOOK” has a party-ready feel, thanks in part to the self-assured bars put forth by the two artists on the song, but also because the beat is one that could send even the most reserved person to the dance floor. It’s the standout moment on Glo’s debut and more than ready to be the next big single from this part of her career.

The Kid LAROI Gasses Up Tate McRae On “APEROL SPRITZ”

The Kid LAROI made a massive comeback almost one year ago with the release of his official debut album, THE FIRST TIME. The native Aussie gave listeners a bit of everything sonically on that project from pop rap, trap, singer/songwriter, and more. However, he wasn’t done with that era immediately. After having fans waiting for so long, he wanted to feed them well, and he did just that. Just over two months ago, LAROI dropped off the deluxe version with eight new songs featuring singles “HEAVEN” and “GIRLS.”

Then, just over two weeks ago, him and Gunna linked up for a remix of another deluxe cut in “BABY I’M BACK.” Now, fast forward to this weekend and it seems like The Kid LAROI is ready to shift gears to new things, as he drops off “APEROL SPRITZ.” We only say new because this isn’t a remix or anything like that. The soundscape is something you come to expect from the youngster. The most interesting thing about this single is that it looks to be a love letter to his new boo, Canadian pop star Tate McRae. Why is it called “APEROL SPRITZ?” Well, allegedly, this summery and citrusy alcoholic drink is McRae’s favorite. There are also apparently some callbacks to how they first met, so if you are into that sort of thing, knock yourself out with the link below.
