Jamaican-born and Brooklyn-raised rapper Sleepy Hallow grabs TaTa for a brand new single. The song, “For You,” is two minutes even and it features a chorus and verse from guest rapper TaTa. Sleepy comes in for the second verse only, surprisingly. However, he still puts on a nice performance when he does appear. This single seems to appear on the next project from Sleepy Hallow. Genius shows on their website the name and cover art, with the title being Boy Meets World.

The website says that it should be released on September 15. That means it will be Sleepy’s fourth studio album and first since 2021. The last project, Still Sleep? features his biggest hit “2055.” The song currently sits at a whopping 644 million plus streams on Spotify. This fourth single of 2023, “For You,” showcases the lane that Hallow is strongest in. His drill rap style mixed with emotional bars is prevalent once again.

Quavo Shares New Music Video For “11:11”

Quavo’s highly-anticipated new album Rocket Power was released a few weeks ago and fans have been eating it up. The project featured notable verses from Takeoff, Future, Young Thug, and more. Tracks like “Patty Cake” and “Focused” are emerging as potential hits already. Though the track “Turn Yo Clic Up” with Future was released alongside an accompanying music video earlier this year, the Rocket Power era has become rich with visuals in the past two weeks. “Hold Me” and “Disciples” already got their own music videos since the album dropped and now yet another track has its accompanying visuals.

“11:11” is a song that pops up on the second half of Rocket Power and it’s already racked up over 2 million streams on Spotify. The video is rapidly rising in popularity too generating over 40k views in less than two hours. In the video, Quavo is hanging out in a forest showing off a sleek-looking SUV while rattling off the lyrics to the song. The video also features a number of flashy visual effects with the rapper phasing in and out of the scenes with glitchy flashes. Fans in the comments continued to hype up the former Migos rapper’s talent. “Another 1!!The man never disappoints. Those lyrics hit hard,” reads the top comment under the video. Quavo’s new album Rocket Power sold 32k units in its first tracking week. Consequently that was good enough to place the album in the top 20 of the Billboard 200 at number #18. It’s a big of a step back for the rapper after his debut solo album and his collaborative project with Takeoff last year both debuted in the top 10.

IShowSpeed Celebrates 20 Million Subscribers By Taking A Dive Into His Setup

IShowSpeed recently reached 20 million subscribers on YouTube, and he celebrated the milestone during a livestream. As he waited for his channel to finally hit 20 million, some of his supporters decided to start unsubscribing in order to troll the streamer. Luckily, he was eventually able to reach the coveted subscriber count, and chose to celebrate in a pretty unconventional way. He got up from his desk and climbed up onto a dresser that was situated against the wall behind him, delivering a dramatic message to his viewers.

“Goodbye chat,” he began, while standing on top of the dresser. “This is what y’all wanted. Never again. Remember – live to the fullest. Live to the greatest. You will be the one. Nobody loves you like how they did. That’s 20 million right there. And, that’s what I’m talking about. This is what we do. We presume and keep going. And, I love y’all boys.” He then shouts a couple of times as confetti is shot into the air, before taking a dive into his gaming setup.

The stream then freezes on an image of the 22-year-old mid-jump for a few seconds. The webcam eventually cuts out, and the streamer is heard making some crying sounds. Someone then asks him if he’s okay, and when he doesn’t respond claims they’re going to call 911 before the stream ultimately ends. Though the jump was probably pretty painful, he appeared to be joking about actually being seriously injured, and is likely doing alright.

The milestone comes shortly after IShowSpeed made headlines earlier this month for accidentally exposing himself during a livestream. The incident was a clear breach of YouTube’s terms of service. Luckily, he was able to avoid being banned on the platform. He later addressed the incident, calling it “embarrassing” and revealing that it’s had a negative impact on his mental health. “At the end of the day, I’m still a human being, bro,” he told his audience. However, the production takes a slight but noticeable change when Smooth’s verse begins.

In addition, the song does not overstay its welcome either. At just under three minutes both MCs fill out the runtime with ease. The chorus is also extremely catchy and just as hard-hitting as the bars.
