Tia Mowry & Cory Hardrict Divorce Finalized

When Tia Mowry announced that she filed for divorce from Cory Hardrict last year, fans of the famous couple were shocked. “These decisions are never easy, and not without sadness,” the Twitches actress wrote at the time. “I am grateful for all the happy times we had together. I want to thank my friends, family, and fans for your love and support as we start this new chapter moving forward in our lives,” she added after mentioning their plans to co-parent their two children, Cairo and Cree.

That was six months ago, and now, Entertainment Tonight reports that the legalities have been finalized. Documents obtained by the outlet reveal that Hardrict and Mowry “entered into a written agreement regarding their property and their marriage or domestic partnership rights, including support.” The 44-year-old requested joint legal and physical custody with her ex last October. She also asked for a termination of the court’s ability to award spousal support based on their premarital agreement.

Since initially filing, both exes have been mostly cordial to one another and even spent last Christmas together. “Family will ALWAYS be Family. Merry Christmas from our family to yours,” Tia captioned her commemorative Instagram post. Mowry revealed ahead of Valentine’s Day on Twitter that she’s confident in her ability to secure another relationship. “I know love will find me again,” she affirmed on February 10. Surprisingly, she hasn’t publicly been linked to anyone else since announcing her breakup.

The former child star recently opened up about her feelings to her followers, writing, “If I’m being completely honest with you all, these last few months have been some of the hardest of my life,” in the caption of some sweet photos with her little ones. “There’s no telling what direction life is going to take you and nothing but one thing is ever certain: the love I have for these two,” she additionally noted. Nick Cannon Gives Jamie Foxx Update

The sudden hospitalization of Jamie Foxx while filming his Back In Action Netflix action-comedy flick shocked the pop culture world. Since news of his “medical complications” broke, fans and celebrities alike poured out prayers and words of sympathy and support for the Collateral actor. Most recently, Nick Cannon was the latest media figure to provide fans with an update on Foxx’s stable status. Moreover, he spoke to Entertainment Tonight briefly, and confirmed news of the star’s steadily improving health. Also, he hinted at a special surprise he has planned for Foxx but didn’t specify what it was.

“Man, I’m praying” Nick Cannon told ET. “You see, I posted on Instagram. I literally have been saying prayers out loud. Words of affirmation for my big brother, I know he’s doing so much better. I’m actually about to do something special for him, and doing him a favor. I can’t really say what it is, but it’ll be out there soon. I was reluctant to go all the way there, and even talk about it, but he gave me the blessing, so it’s a beautiful thing. He’s awake. They say he’s alert, so, we love it.”

Furthermore, Martin Lawrence offered similarly comforting words on Jamie Foxx’s condition. While at his Hollywood Walk of Fame reveal ceremony, Lawrence told Extra that the 55-year-old is recovering well. “Well, I hear he’s doing better,” the Bad Boys star remarked. “My prayers go out for him every night, and just wishing the best for him. [He’s] one of the best that we got in Hollywood, not only one of the best entertainers but a good person.”

Meanwhile, Jamie Foxx has seen nothing short of incredible support online following his hospitalization. Killer Mike Provides Update On Run The Jewels’ Next Album

Killer Mike says that Run The Jewels’ fifth studio album is nearly complete. He provided an update on the status of the group during a new interview with High Times. The interview comes after the announcement of Mike’s first solo album in over a decade, Michael.

When asked about the progress on Run The Jewels 5, Mike told the outlet: “The album is literally two days away. I have to go in tonight and change two lines on a song. I’m just waiting for some drums from [producer] No I.D. and we’re done.”

Mike also reflected on the success he and El-P have achieved together as a duo, sitting that it came to him as a surprise. “I didn’t see it for exactly what it was because I’ve never been here before, but I knew we were something badass and we were going to be big,” he said. “Big is relative. Ahead of their fifth album together Killer Mike and El-P recently announced a special 10th-anniversary tour. They will be “performing a different set each night spanning the band’s full discography, bolstered by a plethora of special guests and surprises along the way,” according to a press release. They’ll be performing several shows in New York, Chicago, Atlanta, as well as Los Angeles in the fall. As for Killer Mike’s solo album, Michael, the project will be dropping on June 16. Mike released the single, “Don’t Let The Devil,” in preparation for the album, earlier this week.

Martin Lawrence just gave fans an update on Jamie Foxx’s slow but sure path to recovery following his medical emergency. Moreover, he recently spoke to Extra at the unveiling of his Hollywood Walk of Fame star, which unfortunately carried a saddened context due to his colleague Foxx’s condition. When asked about the Django Unchained star’s status, the actor and comedian gave positive words on his prompt recovery. Although this situation distressed many fans out there, all news on the subject has been mostly about promising updates surrounding his health. Hopefully, the actor can return to business as usual soon.

The family asks for privacy during this time.” However, said news also came attached with early TMZ reports that this situation could’ve been much more life-threatening. “We’re told his condition was serious enough that Jamie’s family- some of whom were not in town- came to the hospital,” the outlet reported. “He’s communicating now, and that’s good news.”

Despite production issues and hijinks that plagued his Netflix film Back In Action during filming, it seems the set has continued with some work following this most recent (and largest) emergency. For example, his body double reportedly filmed some scenes with costar Cameron Diaz. As such, maybe what’s going on at the set indicates that Foxx will fully recover soon.
