Juice WRLD’s Producer Says He Has Hundreds Of Rock Songs In The Vault

Juice WRLD is one of those artists whose unreleased artists and leaks’ acclaimed status rivals that of his officially released material. What’s more is that what’s left in the Chicago artist’s vault only further shows his versatility, influences, and talents as an artist. Although we unfortunately won’t get to see him curate this material himself, he made a lot of great music on this Earth- even if fans gravitate to their preferred style of his. Moreover, a fan recently mentioned Juice as an artist making true-blue rap and not rock-infused material, and lamenting his loss because of it. Then, his producer Nick Mira responded by stating that he was heavily influenced by- and made plenty of- rock music.

“Music is so trash right now, I miss juice,” the tweet in question began. “Ik he would never follow this punk/rock theme that all these artist are trying to follow now. That era needs to be left alone we want real quality rap music!” While whether you agree with that statement is a different story. Still, naming Juice WRLD as an outsider to rock is a mistake, according to Nick Mira.

Juice WRLD’s Producer Sets The Record Straight

“Juice was heavily influenced by punk, rock, alternative, emo music,” Mira quote-tweeted on Sunday (July 2) in response. “We breathed it naturally and expressed it in a rap form/pop form. Juice’s music is the epitome of multiple genres forming a unique sound. He has hundreds of rock songs in the vault of all different subgenres.” In addition, even within his rap-centric songs, he pulled in so many different influences across all genres. Whether it’s aesthetically, melodically, or sonically, it’s impossible to box in Juice WRLD’s output.

Meanwhile, there is still plenty of the “Doomsday” artist’s hip-hop music to enjoy that sees the light of day. Fore example, his teased and very anticipated collaboration with Nicki Minaj and Young Thug just officially released, titled “Money.” Of course, there will surely be much more amazing music to come from him. On that note, stay posted on HNHH for the latest news and updates on Juice WRLD.

Pharrell Vibes Out To Unreleased Clipse Song With Pusha T & Malice

It looks like Pusha T will be coming through with some heat this summer in the form of a new single from the Clipse. Although they previously linke dup on Kanye’s “Use This Gospel,” Pusha T and Malice made their formal return on 2022’s “Punch Bowl” from I Know Nigo before joining forces, once again, on It’s Almost Dry closer, “I Pray For You.” From there, the two continued to perform together and also dropped their previously unreleased debut album, Exclusive Audio Footage on streaming services.

However, at the Louis Vuitton fashion show, we received a snippet of what appears to be a new single from the brotherly duo. As Pusha T and Malice walked the runway, Pharrell debuted a new single from the Clipse that already made waves online. As much as fans are ecstatic to receive new music from the Virginia duo, many quickly picked up on what seems to be a response to Jim Jones, who suggested that Push was undeserving of his #29 spot on Billboard’s top 50 greatest rappers list.

Pharrell Vibes With The Clipse

Despite the apparent shots toward Jim Jones, Pharrell seems to be enthusiastic about the upcoming effort from the Clipse. A new clip emerged this morning of Skateboard P, Pusha T, and Malice posted up in what appears to be a backstage area where they’re bopping their heads to the songs. Pharrell, specifically, begins singing along to the hook with incredible enthusiasm. No word on when the single will arrive but we anticipate that it’ll surface sometime this summer.

The star-studded Louis Vuitton show also had Malice and Pusha T walking the runway, which is where they debuted the upcoming single. However, Pharrell also brought out even more guests at the afterparty, including Jay-Z, who was in attendance with Beyonce. The rapper joined P on stage to perform a few of their collaborations as well as records like “PSA” and his verse on Panjabi MC’s “Beware (Remix).” Check out P and the Clipse backstage above. How’s the new single sounding? Let us know in the comment section below.

Daft Punk first announced they’d be breaking up with an eight-minute “Epilogue” video released back in 2021. While they didn’t immediately explain the decision, member Thomas Bangalter recently provided further details during an interview with BBC in April. “[In Daft Punk,] we tried to use these machines to express something extremely moving that a machine cannot feel, but a human can,” Bangalter told the outlet. “We were always on the side of humanity and not on the side of technology… As much as I love this character, the last thing I would want to be, in the world we live in, in 2023, is a robot.”

“Infinity Repeating” isn’t the only time that Daft Punk has collaborated with Julian Casablancas. He also appeared on the song, “Instant Crush,” which is featured on the original Random Access Memories tracklist. Other collaborations on the project include Giorgio Moroder, Panda Bear, Todd Edwards, DJ Falcon, Chilly Gonzales, Nile Rodgers, Paul Williams, Nathan East, and Pharrell Williams. The group previously reissued their pivotal debut album, Homework, last year.

Ice Spice’s Unreleased “Like” Song Surfaces Online

She’s likely still coming down from the high of collaborating with Nicki Minaj on the “Princess Diana” remix. Already, though, the Spice Cabinet is desperate for new music from Isis Gaston. The 23-year-old began the year by sharing her debut EP Like..?, featuring a short and sweet seven-song tracklist with titles like “Bikini Bottom” and her breakout hit, “Munch (Feelin’ U).” Recent interviews have heard Ice Spice teasing the possibility of her first album arriving later this year, though she doesn’t want to promise a date now and then later let fans down.

While we eagerly await her first LP, an unreleased single, reportedly from Spice, is making rounds online. It’s called “Like,” and (as expected) features plenty of clever bars from the famous redhead. “Like, why you tryna come for me?” she asks her haters over the RIOTUSA-produced beat. “Like, didn’t know that you f*ck with me / I be poppin’ shit but do it humbly / Like, please, not too much on me,” her bars continue, earning plenty of praise from listeners on Twitter.

New Ice Spice Leaks Online

“No she kinda ate,” one user wrote after Rap Alert shared the song’s preview on Friday (April 28). “She was catchin’ flow pockets kinda nicely,” they added, prompting someone else to reply, “I’m saying though!!! Idk, it’s different.” Other users in the replies insisted that “Like” is a previously scrapped project from Spice, who opted to go in a different direction instead. “Damn, this kinda hard,” a fan of the Bronx Baddie continued the conversation. “Idk if it’s her delivery or what LOL. It’s like she really doesn’t care about anything.”

She’s obviously been busy imprsessing audiences with her rap skills. Elsewhere, Spice has also been doing plenty of modelling over the past few months. Most recently she collaborated with Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS for a shoot with PinkPantheress and met up with Saweetie at Coachella to take some fun photos. Prior to that, she donned some fire looks to appear in Heaven by Marc Jacob’s spring campaign alongside Lil Uzi Vert. Do you think Ice Spice should drop “Like”? Leave a comment with your answer below, and check back in later for more hip-hop news updates.

Metro Boomin Shocks Coachella Crowd With Special Guests & Unreleased Music

Metro Boomin’s Coachella set might go down as one of the festival’s very best this year, and for good reason. Moreover, the star producer brought on Mike Dean to play keys, John Legend to sing, and a whole host of musicians to play the trumpets, strings, or other instruments to embellish his excellent performances of tracks from his latest acclaimed album HEROES & VILLAINS. However, don’t think that he just played the songs for a crowd; he actually brought out almost all his album’s guests. Future graced the stage first, followed by great moments from Don Toliver, 21 Savage, The Weeknd, and even Diddy for the “Creepin” remix.

Also, given how well put-together that album already is, the transitions in between songs fit seamlessly even if they weren’t album tracks. Of course, Metro’s talent came through in his great mixing to take fans from cut to cut. In addition to his guests, he also played the song “Metro Spider” to call once again for Young Thug’s freedom. Overall, it was an incredible set. With high energy, classics galore, a refreshing and engaging visual component with comic books and dramatic art, and a spoken Coachella-specific intro from Morgan Freeman to boot, Metro Boomin did not play around.

Metro Boomin Gives A Stunning Coachella Show

On top of all of that, he also played some unreleased material with The Weeknd, who was by far the most surprising guest. After all, he could’ve easily been the headlining slot himself at the festival, and to see such a huge star show love during a producer set is a testament to Metro Boomin’s status, respect, and sheer talent in the game. If you’re interested in his setlist, check out the full breakdown below plus some performance highlights. Also, stick around on HNHH for the latest news and updates on the one and only Metro Boomin.

Royce Da 5’9″ Drops Off His New Project “The Heaven Experience EP”

A lot of good music emerged out of Detroit in the past few years. Michigan, as a whole, had a strong grip on the sound of rap for the better part of the 2020s. However, in the past few weeks, a few legendary Detroit artists have come through with new music. Danny Brown teamed up with JPEGMAFIA for their new project, Scaring The Hoes Vol. 1. Now, Detroit heavy-weight Royce Da 5’9” is back in the fold with a brand new EP, The Heaven Experience.

Serving as an extension of his 2020 project,  The Heaven Experience EP has been unofficially dubbed the “lost sessions. The six-track project is a strong depiction of Royce’s lyrical brilliance as he shares unreleased cuts from last year’s The Heaven Experience. Royce dropped off “Signs” earlier this week in anticipation of the EP’s release. However, he also enlists assistance from Redman, who appears on “Royce & Reggie” and Courtney Bell and Traxx Sanders for “Ion Wanna.”

Royce Da 5’9” Shares Unreleased Cuts On New EP

Last year, Royce Da 5’9″ delivered his latest body of work, The Heaven Experience Vol. 1. The 15-song body of work was filled with a star-studded cast of collaborators, such as his Bad Meets Evil partner, Eminem, who opens the project up on “Rock City.” Additionally, Pusha T, Rick Ross, Black Thought, Big K.R.I.T., and more assisted Royce on the album.

In an announcement earlier this month, Royce revealed that The Heaven Experience: The Lost Sessions will include a virtual experience. Through the Heaven Experience pass, fans can gain access to exclusive releases, interviews, and more. “I have been searching for a better way to connect with my community for a while, but existing platforms haven’t lived up to my expectations,” the rapper said in a statement. “Passage delivers on all fronts.” Check out the latest project from Royce Da 5’9″ above.

Gunna Says He’ll “Fight It Out” In New Song Snippet As YSL Trial Continues

As YSL’s trial looms larger and longer over the Atlanta collective, its most highly publicized plea-taker is continuing his career. A new snippet recently surfaced of an unreleased Gunna song where the rapper talks about “fighting it out.” Moreover, this likely refers to his rocky and uncertain relationship with Young Thug and the rest of his rap crew after accusations of snitching. Furthermore, the snippet appeared on Brittany Reshaun’s Instagram story, model and friend to the 29-year-old. While he’s been lying low since taking plea, fans and detractors alike are wondering what his personal and career future will look like.

“Heard the rumors said I’m packing up and flying out,” he raps on the unreleased track. “We ain’t going nowhere I’m staying here, gone fight it out / I meant like f**k it / Let’s just give these n***as dark clouds / Been gone for months and I just keep seeing these dark clouds.” Of course, these bars could refer to anything in theory, especially considering Wunna’s free-flowing rap style. However, it lines up too perfectly for comfort, and there’s truth even in context alone despite possibly different intentions.

New Gunna Song Snippet Reveals Musings On YSL

As YSL’s RICO case unfolds, rumors swirled of Gunna leaving the camp and signing with a major label. Considering how much longer the trial is expected to last, perhaps it’ll be a long time before fans see how (or if) a reconciliation plays out. Currently, the process of jury selection is in a months-long process, one that is moving as quickly as possible, but still is facing delays and extensions. According to 11Alive.com, the trial itself will expectedly last take nine months, and opening arguments may not begin until the fall. As such, the timeframe in between those dates will likely consist of further jury selection.

Meanwhile, this snippet comes weeks after DJ Akademiks alleged that Gunna wants out of YSL and has a whole album ready to drop. People’s reactions to the news ranged from excited to outraged, mocking to sympathetic, and from appraisals to cancellations. Clearly he still has a strong fanbase that will look past his issues with YSL. Still, many wonder for how long they will stick around, and how he will sidestep these accusations in the industry. Regardless, check back in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on Gunna.

Lil Nas X Performs “Down Souf Hoes” Feat. Saucy Santana At Lollapalooza Ahead Of Song’s Debut

Lil Nas X is trending once again, as he hits the stage at Lollapalooza. The outspoken artist is known for putting on high-energy and jaw-dropping shows. Additionally, many are aware of his racy and sometimes controversial approach to his career. Since 2019, Nas has been steadily climbing the ladder of success, constantly bringing something new and interesting to the table during his performances. His set at this weekend’s festival was no different. Currently, fans are going crazy with excitement after he sang an unreleased song featuring Saucy Santana.

Titled “Down Souf Hoes,” the infectious tune brings everything you would expect from this duo. The song is not technically a new one, as Lil Nas X and Santana performed it together in late 2022. Unfortunately, it has yet to become publicly available on any streaming service. After his latest performance, however, listeners are now demanding an actual release of the joint effort ASAP. Their demands may be met this summer, as the Atlanta native has plans to release a new project that will include his work with his contemporary.

Lil Nas X Twerks to “Down Souf Hoes”

Santana, best known for his TikTok favourite, “Material Girl,” first started as a makeup artist for the City Girls, JT and Yung Miami. The same year that Lil Nas X started to blow up, the Connecticut native began his rapping career. His first hit was “Walk ‘Em Like a Dog,” and he has carved out a lane for himself in the industry as an openly LGBT artist. Not many people were surprised when Santana linked up with Nas to create music. Both creatives have a similar style, as well as a shared love for makeup and fashion.

While Lil Nas X hopes to be dropping his new album in the summer, no official release date has been confirmed. However, most people are expecting his sophomore effort (along with the long-awaited “Down Souf Hoes”) to drop during Pride season. Seeing as the MONTERO hitmaker has always been very open about his sexuality in his music, it would make sense for him to wait until June. Check back later for any updates on a potential release date.

Just Blaze Teases Unreleased Music From Jay-Z, Ghostface Killah & More

Just Blaze’s vault is unlike many producers, especially since he’s holding onto unreleased gems from the GOATs.

The legendary producer revealed that he discovered a handful of CDs while cleaning out storage. The CDs included unheard material from Jay-Z, The Neptunes, Ghostface Killah, and more.

“Back at storage cleaning out. Found some heavy sessions today. Last slide is a doozy. RIP @staticmajor_ and our brother Kamel,” Just Blaze captioned the post.

The collection of photos reveals some of the unreleased joints that are in his possession including The Neptunes “Christie” and “Operator,” a collab from Timbaland and Static Major, as well as “Missing Audio Files,” a collaboration between Just Blaze and Ghostface Killah.

In addition, Just Blaze unveiled that he had unreleased music from Jay-Z including a collab with M.O.P, another with Madlib, and the song “Hello Young Lady.” Blaze previously discussed “Hello Young Lady,” explaining it was left off of The Black Album and Magna Carta Holy Grail because it shared similarities to “Song Cry.”

A fan also wrote that the song with Madlib was likely the producer’s remix of “Threats.” However, Just Blaze confirmed that Jay and Beat Konducta have other unreleased music together.

Just Blaze’s discovery led to plenty of reactions. Young Guru simply wrote, “Memories.” Drake slid into the comments where he reflected on the amount of unreleased music that the world hasn’t heard.

“Imagine how much incredible music has just never been heard,” he wrote. “like beats and songs that are sitting somewhere…it’s like the ocean we just don’t know what’s there.”
