Yo Gotti Says JAY-Z Inspired Him To Further His Education

Yo Gotti says that he’s been taking classes at UCLA’s Anderson School of Management since December 2023. Speaking with Forbes for an interview published on Friday, he revealed that JAY-Z is the one who inspired him to do so.

“I may want to buy a company or acquire another company,” he said. “So I’m making sure I’m supertight—and understand the language and the verbiage myself other than listening to financial experts.” In addition to his rap career, Gotti brings in income from CMG Music Group, the label that houses Moneybagg Yo, GloRilla, and Blac Youngsta. He also owns a minority stake in the MLS team, D.C. United. “If I never wrote another rap again, I’m financially straight,” he told the publication. “My whole career, I was setting up for that.”

JAY-Z even praised Gotti’s business acumen to Forbes for the piece, explaining that it’s “evident in every move [Gotti] makes, breaking the mold of the old-guard definition of an executive.” The smart business moves have led to Gotti boasting a net worth of over $100 Million.

Gotti isn’t the only person JAY-Z has imparted wisdom on. DDG recently revealed what the legendary rapper had for him during Beyonce’s birthday party. “When I do see him, I try to ask him for a little bit of game, a little bit of advice,” he told Hollywood Unlocked. “I asked him at [Beyoncé’s] birthday party, I was like, ‘What advice could you give me as an artist?’ And he gave me like an analogy. He was like, ‘If people go to a Chinese restaurant, they expecting Chinese food.’ So, give the people what they came for.” Be on the lookout for further updates on Yo Gotti on HotNewHipHop.

Bronny James Trolled For Wild Stat Line Versus UCLA

Bronny James has been widely mocked online after dropping a wild stat line for USC against UCLA. Bronny went 0-for-3 on the night, picking up his two total points from a pair of free throws. He also added one block…and one technical foul from said block. Bronny was called for the tech after yelling “Give me that sh-t” after putting down the monster block.

People were quick to roast Bronny for the performance as he continues to fall short of the hype that came with his freshman year with the Trojans. This is especially as USC, projected to finished second in the Pac-12 this season, are dead last in the conference with a 2-7 Pac-12 record. The team is 8-12 overall and have lost their last five games.

Lebron James Watches Bronny’s USC Game While Doing Media Interviews

Despite how he plays, Bronny can be secure in the knowledge that his dad will always be watching. LeBron James was a little more distracted than usual during his post-game media interviews on January 17 as he tried to watch his son Bronny take on Arizona at the same time. The first indication that James was not giving the media his full attention was when he rebuffed scrum reporters in the tunnel saying he had to go watch Bronny. While James did fulfill his media obligations, he would often look past the reporters to focus on the screen showing the USC game.

However, he focused a little more when one reporter asked him whether it was tougher to lose with the Lakers or watch Bronny and USC struggle. “Watching college basketball alone is tough. Then you add my son in there, it’s even … yeah, yeah, cause I’m … it’s hard to watch. It’s hard to watch. Yeah, I’m a dad, but also, love the game of basketball and college basketball, just, it’s like ten people in the paint at the same time. It’s very hard at times to watch. But USC’s a great program, Arizona’s a great program, you get a good opportunity to watch some good basketball in this game,” James said.

Colorado Rose Bowl Theft Reportedly Committed By Recruits Visiting UCLA

According to The Coach JB Show, two high school players on a recruiting visit at UCLA are reportedly responsible for the theft of items belonging to visiting Colorado Buffaloes players. Jason Brown, who appeared on Netflix’s Last Chance U as the head coach of Independence Community College in Kansas, claims that two students from Beaumont High School had been arrested by Pasadena Police. Furthermore, Brown claimed that the information came directly from the players’ coach.

Pasadena Police have confirmed that two underage suspects were detained over the theft. At least three Colorado players had jewelry stolen, while other items such as headphones and cash were also taken from the visitors’ locker room at the Rose Bowl. “The Pasadena Police Department would like to thank those who reported leads to our tip line. The information and support are invaluable and play a crucial role in helping us ensure safety and security in our community. Our detectives worked diligently to follow up on all leads, which resulted in the quick execution of search warrants. The investigation will be ongoing. More information will follow as available,” the department said in a recent statement.

Colorado Eye Tough End To Season

Robbery aside, all is not well in Boulder, Colorado. The Buffs dropped their third consecutive game last weekend, falling below .500 for the first time this season. It came as a late rally against Oregon State fell short and the Buffs were knocked off 26-19. It’s now been a full month since Colorado’s last win, a 27-24 victory over Arizona State. Furthermore, the bowl window is closing bit by bit. Colorado, who are 4-5, need two wins from their last three games to be bowl-eligible.

Unfortunately for the Buffs, they have a rough schedule to close out the Pac-12 season. Up next is #21 Arizona, who are coming off three consecutive victories against ranked opponents. Then there is Washington State, who are 4-5 after a white-hot start to the season. Finally, they end the season against #18 Utah, who are 7-2. While Sanders has said the team isn’t thinking about bowl season, it would be an incredibly disappointing end to a season that started off so well.

Deion Sanders Demands NCAA Compensate Colorado Players For UCLA Robbery

Deion Sanders publicly demanded that the NCAA or UCLA directly compensate his players after the Colorado Buffaloes were reportedly the victims of a robbery during a recent road game. “Our kids got robbed during the game last week. I think that’s a travesty. I would expect the NCAA to do something about that. This is the Rose Bowl. They said the granddaddy of ’em all, right? I’m sure granddaddy had some money. Grandpa should have some money to give these kids,” Sanders told reporters during a press conference this week. “I’m going to have a list made out from these young men, and I know they’re going to be truthful about what they lost, so we can try and get it back for them. They may not be able to get the items back, but they should be able to reimburse them. That was unbelievable,” he continued.

Furthermore, Sanders squarely put the burden of responsibility on the NCAA. “It don’t make no sense when you’re out there ballin’ and playing your heart out and you get robbed at the same [time]. I hope we can do something about that, NCAA. You do something about everything else. Do something about that,” Sanders noted. UCLA officials confirmed that a police report had been filed with the Pasadena PD. The Rose Bowl, which serves as the Bruins’ home stadium, is about 26 miles from the main UCLA campus. The robbery reportedly occurred during UCLA’s 28-16 win over the Buffs this past weekend.

Losses All Round For Sanders & Colorado

It appears that nothing can go right for Sanders and his ailing Colorado team. The UCLA loss was their fourth loss in the last five games, bringing them to 4-4 on the season after a 3-0 start. Furthermore, starting quarterback Shedeur Sanders is potentially a scratch for their game against #16 Oregon State this weekend. Sanders took another seven sacks and reportedly needed an injection at halftime to keep playing. Sanders made the decision to sit his son during early week practices. “I think I’m going to give him another day or so off, so he can heal properly and he can be at his best. We want his best. He’s doing well, though, mentally, physically, as well as psychologically,” Sanders explained. If Sanders needs to miss the game, the ball will be turned over to freshman Ryan Staub or junior Gavin Kudd.

There are four games left on Colorado’s schedule, with the Buffs needing at least two wins to be bowl-eligible. They have two home games next up, facing #16 Oregon State (6-2) and Arizona (5-3). After that, they hit the road to close out the regular season. That road trip begins at Washington State (4-4) and the season is closed out at #18 Utah (6-2).

Colorado Buffaloes Players Report Stolen Jewelry Following UCLA Match

Overall, the Colorado Buffaloes are a team that has received a ton of coverage this season. They currently have a 4-4 record despite winning their first three games. At this point, a lot of the Deion Sanders hype has died down. Instead, many are seeing this team as the average squad they were supposed to be. Regardless, whenever they play, people still try and pay attention. For instance, on Saturday night, they got to play against the UCLA Bruins, who came into the match at 5-2.

In the end, it was a difficult game for the Buffaloes. They ended up losing the match by a score of 28-16. Overall, it was another loss on their record, and you can tell the team wants to avenge it. They play against Oregon State next week, which is yet another ranked opponent. However, the team has other things to worry about. In new videos posted by No Jumper, you can see numerous players talking about stolen goods.

As you can see above, the players claim that while they were playing their game, assailants broke into the locker room and took some of their goods. The vast majority of these “goods” were their chains. They say that stuff was taken right out of the locker room and that security didn’t seem to do their job. It’s hard to believe a huge football stadium would drop the ball like this. However, clearly, something was amiss as there were multiple players who were robbed.

Hopefully, the players will be able to get their chains back. However, that might be an impossible task at this point. Let us know what you think about all of this, in the comments section below. Air Jordan 1 Low “UCLA” PE Surfaces Online

If you are a fan of the Air Jordan 1 Low, then these last few years have been a lot of fun for you. Overall, the Jordan 1 Low has proven to be a shoe that works exceptionally well during the summer months. However, this is also a sneaker that can work any time of the year. It contains all of the amazing aesthetics of the Air Jordan 1, but with low-top sensibilities. Although it may not have the same luster as the High OG, it certainly still attracts a lot of consumers. Whether that be sneakerheads or casuals.

Recently, we have been seeing a ton of new Air Jordan 1 Low offerings. This makes a whole bunch of sense when you consider how the summer is almost here. That said, we have also been seeing University PEs. Jumpman has deals in place with a whole bunch of schools, which leads to some impressive color schemes. Various Jumpman colleges have been showing off their Air Jordan 1 Lows, and now, UCLA is doing the same. Thanks to our good friends at English Sole, we now have an in-depth look at this sneaker.

“UCLA” Air Jordan 1 Low

In the Instagram post up above, you can see how great this sneaker is. It is a wonderful representation of UCLA, and we’re sure the student-athletes agree. Firstly, the shoe has a white base that runs from the toe box to the side panels. Secondly, the overlays here are that iconic UCLA blue. Lastly, we get a nice dose of yellow on the Nike swoosh on the side, and near the toe box. We even get the UCLA logo on the insole for good measure. Everything here works perfectly, and there is no doubt that this shoe is all about UCLA.

Unfortunately for all of the sneakerheads out there, this sneaker will not be released to the public. It is a Player Exclusive, which means only the student-athletes can have them. However, you never know what can end up on the resale market these days. Let us know what you think of this Air Jordan 1 Low, in the comments section down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the sneaker world.
