Trippie Redd Teases Travis Scott, Chief Keef Collabs

It looks like Trippie Redd is gearing up to kick off 2023 in an exciting way. Over the past couple of days, the “Miss The Rage” rapper has been taking to his social media accounts to tease new music.

After sharing upcoming collaborations and snippets of a few songs, he may even be preparing to drop a new album.

It all began when the 23-year-old posted to his Instagram Story on Monday (January 9). “The Dark Knight Returns…. #MM,” he writes, before sharing a screenshot of a conversation with Travis Scott.

In the exchange, Trippie says he needs the ASTROWORLD rapper’s verse back before Friday. “Yeaaaa engineer should be sending it back in like [an] hour,” writes Scott.

Of course, the duo’s first collaboration is 2017’s energetic “Dark Knight Dummo.” It’s unclear at this time whether or not the new track they’re teasing will be part two, or an entirely new concept.

Furthermore, a snippet of the Ohio native filming a music video with Chief Keef is also circulating on social media.

Furthermore, according to a tweet from Kurrco, Trippie and his team may be responsible for already uploading the alleged new album to the backend of streaming services. “Trippie Redd’s upcoming #MM project will feature Juice WRLD, Future, Travis Scott, Lil Baby, Chief Keef, Summrs, Lil B, Rich The Kid, Rob49 & more,” reads the tweet.

At this point, 2021’s Trip At Knight serves as his most recent full-length offering. The 18-track album boasts features from the likes of Drake, Lil Uzi Vert, Ski Mask The Slump God and others. However, it certainly seems as though he’ll be dropping something else very soon.

Skrillex Enlisted PinkPantheress And Trippie Redd For The Hypnotic New Song ‘Way Back’

Skrillex recently announced that he’ll be returning with a new double album, his first full solo releases in almost ten years. The latest single off of it is “Way Back,” a bouncy collaboration that features PinkPantheress and Trippie Redd. At just a little over two minutes, it is an easy listen in terms of an electronic teaser to the record(s).

The track opens with Redd over an EDM beat. “Coming from the cracks and the crevices / Looking for a way back home,” he sings with production over his voice so it echoes in the listeners’ mind.

Then, Skrillex seamlessly introduces PinkPantheress’s soft-but-captivating vocals to make a perfect transition into her verse. “Today, I really got to know my feelings very well / When someone mentions love,” she adds an emotional layer to the song. Still, she notes that she’s also here to have fun, “It’s just a Sunday night / I’m out to buy a dress.”

The DJ had been teasing his work on the song (and the full albums) for a while.

“I don’t like to say too much, but I mean, I have some projects, I hate the word finishing, but I have all the songs and I’m just in there tweaking and releasing some singles before I decided to put out the bodies of work,” Skrillex previously told Zane Lowe in 2021.

Trippie Redd Mourns A Lost Love On His New Song, ‘Save Me, Please’

Trippie Redd is gearing up for the release of his new mixtape, A Love Letter To You 5. Tonight, he has shared the visual for his new song, “Save Me, Please.” On the lush, guitar-driven track, Trippie grieves a lost love and expresses willingness to change.

“I’m tired of the fighting / I’m tired of the crying / Please, please come back in my arms / Oh, I’m tired of trying / I’m tired of dying / Please, please save me from myself,” he sings on the song’s chorus.

Back in August, Trippie teased A Love Letter To You 5 in an interview with Montreality, and revealed that it will be the last installment in the series, and will feature more of Trippie’s signature sound.

A Love Letter to You 5 is gonna be, if not the best body of music I’ve ever did, one of them. For sure,” he said. “This is the last one. This the last A Love Letter to You so…I done put my all into it. I’ve been working on this for like, three to four years. Dropping projects, but still having music tucked to the side for this project.”

He continued, saying, “Nothing is experimental. I’m not trying to be experimental with this project. I’m really just tryin’ to, you know, just drop straight Trippie Redd hits. That being said, every song on here gotta go crazy ’cause if it don’t, then f*ck me.”

Trippie Redd, Offset And Moneybagg Yo Send Threats To Their Enemies In The Menacing ‘Big 14’ Video

Trippie Redd, despite his charisma, carries a menacing personality. Though he is a fun-loving guy, he doesn’t look like the type you want to cross either. “Big 14” is the Canton artist showing more of that serious side alongside Offset and Moneybagg Yo. Together, the trio flexes their riches but also makes it very clear that no one should try and come for them.

“Don’t come outside we sending killers at your door,” Redd groans in the chorus before taking on the first verse, followed by Offset and Moneybagg Yo in succession. Their aggressive lyrics are amplified by the scenery surrounding them, whether it be abandoned buildings or what appears to be a hospital corridor. The Honorable C.N.O.T.E. production is an ideal canvas for each spitter to then add their own twist.

For Trippie, this is his first proper release in 2022, taking a bit of a hiatus since his 2021 album Trip At Knight. Moneybagg Yo seems to never stop working, with a slew of features and multiple appearances on the latest CMG compilation album Gangsta Art. As for Offset, it is still unclear whether Migos are split up or not but he is teasing new music coming soon.
