Tyler Maxey’s heroics in Madison Square Garden helped the Sixers upset the Knicks last night. Maxey went on a complete clutch time tear when the Knicks had the game won. Knicks fans were devastated as they watched their team give away the game. Now, the Knicks have to try to win the series in Philidelphia. Celebrity row was rocking all game, but the despair and anger were palpable when Tyrese Maxey brought the Sixers to Overtime. Tracy Morgan let his frustrations out on the Sixer’s point guard.

After Maxey celebrated securing Philadelphia’s season with his game-tying three-pointer at the end of regulation, comedian Tracy Morgan gave him the finger. Meanwhile, actor Ben Stiller was standing next to Morgan. A picture of the iconic moment shows the actor grinning angrily, glaring at Maxey while Morgan gives him the finger. Morgan is New York in his bones and could not cope with what transpired at the Garden.

In the last 25 seconds of regulation, Tyrese Maxey scored seven points to help the 76ers overcome a ninety-six-point deficit. The former standout player for Kentucky concluded with nine assists and five rebounds. Tracy Morgan and everyone in Madison Square Garden could not believe what they saw. They are hoping the Knicks can wrap up the series in Philly, but basketball fans are praying for a game-7 at the Garden. Giving up a sure spot in the second round is a gut punch. Knicks would be making history if they lost game 6 and 7. Knicks fans won’t be able to cope.

The Sixers-Knicks series has been endlessly entertaining. There has been controversy, dirty plays from Joel Embiid, massive performances, and missed calls. The series has everything, and it’s not over yet. Tracy Morgan and the New York Knicks celebrity contingent better be prepared for a battle if the Sixers win game 6. Overall, we need this series to go seven games. The NBA playoffs have been great so far, and this series has been the real highlight.

Tracy Morgan Recalls Crying With Nas When They Learned They’re Related

Tracy Morgan says that he and Nas cried over the phone upon learning that they’re cousins. The 30 Rock alum is set to appear on an upcoming episode of Finding Your Roots and, in turn, discussed his family tree on the podcast, Connect the Dots.

“I turn the last page, and guess who’s sitting there? Nas. Me and Nas is third cousins on my mom’s side. Me and Esco was always tight before that. I did a show years ago on Comedy Central called One Mic that was for Nas’ mom that just passed away. So me and Esco always been tight,” Morgan explained. He added: “I called him up, and I say, ‘Yo Esco.’ He said, ‘What up Trey?’ And I said, ‘I just did Finding Your Roots. Me and you related. He started crying, I started crying. And I said to him, ‘If you ever need me, I’m there, Cuz.’ He said, ‘Cuz, if you ever need me, I’m there.’”

Nas previously appeared on Finding Your Roots in 2014, at which time, he found a bill of sale for his third great-grandmother. “First, I was enraged when I looked at the bill of sale. I was like, that guy that owned property owes me some cash. My people made him really wealthy, so maybe I should find his family and talk,” he said, as caught by HipHopDX. “They paid $830 for my great-great-great-grandma? I got more than that in my pocket right now. This is painful. To see that, that hurts.”

During an appearance on the Connect The Dots podcast, comedian Tracy Morgan shared that he’s got family ties with one of our favourite New York spitters – Nas.

Me and Nas is third cousins on my mom’s side,” he said of his experience filming an upcoming episode of Finding Your Roots. “Me and Esco was always tight before that. I did a show years ago on Comedy Central called One Mic that was for Nas’ mom that just passed away, so me and Esco always been tight,” he further explained. Apparently, the revelation made Morgan emotional, and he and Nas shed some tears together when the former had the opportunity to share the news.

Comedian Tracy Morgan recently appeared on the podcast Connect The Dots, where he talked about discovering his relation to another New York-based entertainer after years of friendship on an upcoming episode of Finding Your Roots.

It’s been kind of a stressful summer, hasn’t it? The Supreme Court went on a tear a few weeks ago. Mass shootings keep happening, with no end in sight. Homophobia and transphobia are getting worse. There’s that Joe Manchin creep, doing more bad stuff. You know what you need right now? Tracy Morgan singing “With or Without You” in an airport.

The performer was caught in an airport in Omaha Saturday, sitting among the throngs, waiting on a plane. Unlike everyone else, he was belting out a rendition of “With or Without You,” the classic U2 song off their album The Joshua Tree. He wasn’t performing for the crowds. He was just a regular dude sitting in a seat, singing like he didn’t care who was around him. It’s a good song, too. Good for him entertaining people in an Omaha airport and, thanks to the video taken of him, all of us.

Morgan himself could use a break, too. Back in March, he broke down in tears during a stint on Conan O’Brien’s podcast while recalling the difficulty of doing his first stand-up set after suffering through a car accident thanks to a Walmart truck. Tracy Morgan Will Take Over The Lead Role In ‘Squidbillies’ After Stuart D. Baker’s Firing For Offensive Comments About, Among Other Things, Dolly Parton

After competing against Adult Swim’s very strong stable of animated voice talent, Tracy Morgan has emerged as the new voice of Early Cuyler in the final season of Squidbillies. The role was originally voiced by Stuart D. Baker, who essentially detonated his career last summer by launching a parade of offensive posts on Facebook, including one where he referred to country music superstar Dolly Parton as a “freak-titted, old Southern bimbo” because she voiced her support for the Black Lives Matter protests.

After being fired from the role, Baker lashed out at Cartoon Network and the makers of Squidbillies while continuing to make some not great remarks about Americans “forsaking your own race.” Via The Wrap:

“I just hope you a-holes are happy you took a good Man and talent down. You succeeded. Be proud that you ruined a person’s life all because of [the] Freak Show called ‘Dolly Parton and BLM.’ Thanks a lot. I gave my best to you assholes for over 30 years. I guess you just love to kick someone when they’re down. That’s so twisted and perverted. Again, thanks! I’m [sic] remember you bastards!”

Clearly, nothing of value was lost as Morgan steps into the role, which was revealed via a video of other voice actors auditioning for the part. When he won, Morgan celebrated the moment by announcing, “I’m Tracy Morgan, and I’m the new voice of Superman.” (He’ll eventually get it right. It’ll be cool.)

The Squidbillies final season premieres November 7 on Adult Swim.
