Tony Yayo Says Tory Lanez Will Be Attacked In Jail

Tony Yayo is typically an entertaining guy. Beyond his raps, he’s certainly never afraid to speak his mind.

The G-Unit rapper recently sat down for an interview with VladTV. During the conversation, he shares his thoughts on the recent Tory Lanez guilty verdict.

Of course, DJ Vlad doesn’t shy away from asking the 44-year-old about the case. He asks Yayo what it’s like in jail as a rapper, based on the New York native’s personal experience. “I mean, it could be rough. People are not used to the conditions. You nobody, you just a number. They gon’ make you feel like you’re not R. Kelly or Bill Cosby, they tryna make you feel like you just a number and that’s what you are, just like everybody else,” he answers.

“Motherf*ckers don’t care. If you get out of line, a motherf*cker will get out of line with you too. And then you more of a target. C’mon, L.A. county? You seen they put up his meal. ‘Yo, Tory Lanez in here.’ That’s the talk of the jail and now everybody in the jail got something to talk about,” Yayo continues.

Later on in the interview, the “Drama Setter” rapper explicitly says what he would do to his lawyer if he was in Lanez’s shoes. “Where I’m from, I ain’t never hear nobody really shoot a girl. Like, you shoot n*ggas, but really don’t shoot girls. So it’s a strange case. If he woulda shot a n*gga, n*ggas probably wouldn’t have cared,” he prefaces.

“She got hit in the foot, it’s not an attempted murder, so for me, I probably woulda just copped out. Look at Tory, you go to jail on Christmas, you think you gon’ beat the case and then my lawyer would’ve got punched in the face, ’cause I’m not spending a quarter million dollars and my lawyer’s not telling me, yo, we might lose this,” he explains afterwards.

Tony Yayo Talks Tory Lanez & The “Little Man Complex”

The case against Tory Lanez has come to a close, but that hasn’t stopped the world from speaking on the controversy. Lanez was enjoying the good life with several No. 1 albums under his belt, but an altercation with Megan Thee Stallion would spell disaster for both artists. Weeks ago, Lanez was convicted of three charges related to the 2020 shooting, and it was a verdict that divided Hip Hop.

From the onset, the singer’s supporters believed Megan lied about who pulled the trigger and shot her that fateful day. She pointed the finger at Lanez; however, during the trial, he claimed it was Megan’s former friend, Kelsey Harris.

In a new conversation with VladTV, Tony Yayo adds his voice to the chit-chat and discusses men who may have a “little man complex.”

Yayo and Vlad spoke about the trial and the evidence presented against Lanez. The audio of the gunshots was brought up before Vlad said, “Tory’s not a street guy. He’s an artist, he’s a singer. No one looked at Tory as a tough guy.”

Yayo replied, “But when you have money and power, I mean, it could turn you semi-tough.” He made it clear he doesn’t know Lanez at all, so he couldn’t necessarily speak on his demeanor. Vlad chimed in to say Tory is 5 foot 2 inches tall.

“I know n*ggas that’s 5 foot 2 that got the little man complex and will cut your face,” said Yayo.

Vlad contested that men like that usually have a reputation for violent behavior. According to the interviewer, he’s never heard of Tory being a violent person outside of the run-in with August Alsina.

However, Lanez was sued by Love & Hip Hop Miami star Prince for allegedly attacking him at a club. Additionally, a woman who claimed to be Lanez’s ex came forward with allegations of domestic violence. He later denied knowing the woman. Celina Powell also accused Lanez of attacking her, but she later stood up for him against Megan’s allegations.

Lanez will face sentencing later this month.

Tory Lanez Case: 47 Prosecution Exhibits Surfaces Including Megan Thee Stallion X-Ray

It’s been over a week since a jury found Tory Lanez guilty of all three counts in the trial surrounding the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion. From die-hard fans online to his own father, the outcome of the trial became a divisive point of conversation online.

Deputy District Attorneys Alexander Bott and Kathy Ta showed the jury 47 exhibits to push for Tory’s conviction. Now that the case is closed, the exhibits of evidence used in the case have finally hit the Internet. StreetTV obtained evidence from the case which includes much of what appeared in the trial. Firstly, X-Ray images of Megan Thee Stallion’s injuries and bloodied foot surfaced, along with pictures of the shell casings at the scene of the crime. Additionally, LAPD bodycam footage and a neighbor’s surveillance video from the scene surfaced online.

The 35+ minute video also includes several text messages that helped the prosecution secure their conviction. One of which is Tory’s apology to Megan after the shooting. The second comes from Kelsey Nicole, who messaged Meg’s bodyguard Justin Edison, “Tory shot Meg.”

All 47 exhibits appeared online a few days after Tory Lanez’s jail call to Kelsey Nicole emerged. The call, which became critical in the prosecution’s case, includes an apology to Nicole and Megan Thee Stallion, though he didn’t outright admit to shooting anyone.

“I know she [Megan] probably never, ever gonna talk to me ever again,” Tory said. “But I just want you to know, bruh, I was just so fucking drunk. I ain’t even know what the fuck was going on, bruh, like deadass. I’d never do some shit like that… I was just so fucking drunk, n***a, I just didn’t understand what the fuck was going on, bruh. Regardless, that’s not going to make anything right and that’s not going to make my actions right.”

Tory Lanez was taken into custody after he was convicted. A jury handed down guilty verdicts on charges of assault with a firearm causing great bodily injury; possession a concealed, loaded and unregistered firearm in a vehicle, and discharging a firearm with gross negligence. He returns to court on January 25th for his sentence.

Kelsey Harris’s Injuries After Tory Lanez Shooting Shown In New Photos

Following a guilty verdict in the Tory Lanez trial, social media flooded with conversations surrounding new evidence and recordings. While many have questioned the morality behind such an interest, the high-profile case became more important with each passing week. Furthermore, photos surfaced online of injuries of Megan Thee Stallion’s ex best friend, Kelsey Harris.

Moreover, the pictures show injuries on her legs and hands, plus patches of what seems to be pulled-out hair, allegedly from the night of the shooting. While it may seem uncomfortable, in the comments section, many welcomed the new evidence. “Show me every bit of evidence they have,” one user wrote. “I want to see it all ! Thankyaverymuch.”

However, some were less eager. “Who is feeding Niq this information?” another commenter posted, referring to the source of the pictures. “Or is it all public record?” Even with some users wanting to move on, there is clearly a lot left to discuss and take into account with this case.

Also, Harris played a pivotal role in Lanez’s guilty verdict according to reporters and court officials. A leaked apology call from the Canadian artist to Kelsey showed his acknowledgement of what went down.

“I would never do some s**t like that, bruh. It’s just that a n***a was so f**king drunk. I just didn’t even understand what the f**k was going on, bruh,” he said. “Regardless, that’s not gonna make anything right, and that’s not gonna make my actions right, bro. I’m just deeply sorry for that. I never even moved like that, bruh. Never moved like that at all, bruh. Like for real, for real, dawg.”

“I feel crazy, fam,” he continued. “What happened, happened already, bruh. I can’t take it back, bruh. I’m just telling y’all I’m sorry, bruh. I think we was just too drunk, bruh. When I got to the house, off-top n***as had gave me like five shots. Like off the door, you feel me? I was outta there.”

“The Game” Actor Hosea Chanchez Pens Open Letter To Megan Thee Stallion

A week following the end of Tory Lanez’s trial, “The Game” actor Hosea Chanchez is offering support to Megan thee Stallion. Penning an open letter to the Traumazine rapper on Friday evening, Chanchez is publicly standing behind the Texas native after Lanez was handed a guilty verdict.

Sharing a photo of the rap star, he wrote on Instagram, “MEGAN PETE – using her real name because she’s a real human being not a prop or a stallion, she’s a black woman who was assaulted by a man.”

“After hearing the 911 call and the jail call, my heart further bleeds for this woman. Imagine being shot multiple times and then protecting the shooter by lying for him,” Chanchez then added. “The amount of trauma and damage she’s faced through the assault, judgment and callousness by her own people is sad.”

Calling out Kylie Jenner, he continued, “The amount of black women & men who didn’t & still don’t believe her is sickening. Yes – there are inconsistencies, which is normal cuz clearly Kylie got everyone blackout drunk upon entering her home that night.”

“I Guarantee you this, if this had happen to KYLIE that night she wouldn’t have to convince anyone she was shot and by who? Never!!” Chanchez also said in the post.

Tory Lanez’ Damning Jail Phone Call Was Released And It’s Changing Some Fans’ Minds About The Outcome Of The Trial

Last week, Tory Lanez was convicted of assault, negligently discharging a firearm, and illegal possession of that firearm after being accused of shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the feet in 2020. During the week-long trial, the jury heard from witnesses including Megan Thee Stallion herself and a local resident of the neighborhood in which the shooting occurred, as well as the recorded statement from Meg’s friend Kelsey Harris and a jail phone call from Lanez to Harris in which Tory appears to apologize for the shooting.

Now, after the trial concluded, some of that evidence has become public record after the audio from Tory’s jail call surfaced online. Although Tory’s defense tried to portray the call as the rapper apologizing for allegedly pitting the two friends against each other, the jury saw it as a damning admission of guilt. Along with Harris’ testimony, it was enough to convince them that he had pulled the trigger. While some observers had remained skeptical of the reporting of the trial by reputable outlets such as Rolling Stone and the Los Angeles Times, preferring to be informed by unlicensed gossip blogs, it appears that with this information becoming widely available, perceptions are beginning to shift on social media, where Megan Thee Stallion was dragged through the mud in attempts to discredit her on behalf of the accused.

The veracity of the audio recording has been confirmed by reporters who were present for the trial, including Law Crime News’ Meghann Cuniff, who has acquired the cheeky nickname “Meghann Thee Reporter” on Twitter for her work during the trial. Meanwhile, Tory Lanez awaits sentencing after being convicted; he faces up to 22 years in prison and deportation back to Canada.

Lanez talks about what he could remember about the night that got him convicted of crimes connected to the shooting that injured rap star Megan Thee Stallion, confirming that he had too much to drink on that fateful night. Lanez and Nicole also can be heard discussing the backlash in the media about the shooting, and Lanez confirms that he’s been receiving the lion’s share of the heat.

This audio comes out less than a week after Lanez was convicted of the shooting and is currently awaiting sentencing.

Tory Lanez Apology Call Sealed His Fate, Suggests Meghann Cuniff

The verdict may have been handed down in the Tory Lanez case, but that doesn’t mean conversations have dissipated. The singer-rapper was found guilty on charges related to the 2020 shooting involving Megan Thee Stallion, real name Megan Pete. Lanez has adamantly denied responsibility, even after Megan named him as the person who shot her in her feet.

The two-week trial was filled with surprises, especially after Megan’s former best friend Kelsey Harris took the stand. Although she pleaded the fifth and denied remembering much, prosecutors played their interview with her for the court. The exchange took place in September 2022, and in it, Harris gave precise details that often mirrored Megan’s account.

However, Lanez’s supporters do not believe that justice was served. According to them, there wasn’t any evidence to secure a guilty verdict. Additionally, they believe there weren’t witnesses to place him as the shooter. However, both Harris and Megan stated they saw Lanez shoot the gun, as did the person who witnessed the incident from their bedroom.

During the trial, Law & Crime reporter Meghann Cuniff was in the courtroom and each day offered detailed updates via Twitter. She developed a reputation as “Meghann The Reporter” and was hailed for giving her straightforward updates about the ongoings of the prosecution and defense.

A clip of an interview with Cuniff has gone viral this week, and in it, she laid some rumors to rest. Although there was speculation regarding what could have sealed Lanez’s fate, Cuniff claims it was the rapper’s apology call to Harris that caused the jury to lean toward a guilty verdict.

“[The most significant piece of evidence] for me was the apology,” said Cuniff. “And we didn’t actually hear a whole lot about that during trial because, I think, prosecutors just kinda figured why bother. They played it in opening, they got it in evidence from somebody within the jail. And then, it kinda seemed like it was on the defense to try to explain that away.”

Cuniff admitted that although Lanez “didn’t mention a shooting or a gun in the call,” there wasn’t anything else anyone could say the call was about.

“They went through it line by line, focused on how he was asking about how Meg was in the hospital. This is his apology call to Kelsey. And we never really seemed to hear much about that from the defense at trial.”

Lanez is scheduled to face his sentencing in the coming weeks. He is looking at upwards of 22 years in prison.
