South Florida rap star Kodak Black weighed in on the Tory Lanez guilty verdict, in which he was convicted of shooting Megan Thee Stallion after leaving a party at Kylie Jenner’s home. Black objected the judge’s decision to convicted Lanez of shooting Megan and expressed it on IG Live for fans and critics of both rappers to judge.

Kodak addressed the verdict, saying, “This sh*t ain’t right, homie. For real, bro. And Tory Lanez a good n***a, bro… This sh*t f**king with my Christmas Eve. Slim Thug Says Tory Lanez Should’ve “Been Humble” With Megan Thee Stallion

Tory Lanez’ recent guilty verdict has caused a great divide in the hip hop community. Many celebs flocked to social media to share their opinion on the controversial case. Houston legend Slim Thug is the latest star to express his thoughts on the Megan vs. Tory incident.

“If he did have anything to do with that sh**, it shouldn’t have been no beef whatsoever after the shit happened. If there was any guilt on his side, he should’ve kissed Meg’s a**. He should’ve been way more humble and try his best to get on her good side. For all the funny shit for the cap app and all the funny shit on cap app, who laughing now?”

The “Thug” rapper also poked fun at Tory’s height. He suggested that Lanez only pulled a gun on Megan because he’s shorter than her. “No way in life will I ever pull out a gun for a situation with a woman.” Slim Thug has been vocal about his affinity for Megan Thee Stallion since she hit the scene back in 2019. He was frequently seen in the Traumazine rapper’s comment section under several of her thirst trap photos.

Thug decided it was time to shoot his shot at the Megan under a clip of her rocking Savage X Fenty lingerie. “Wear it for me,” he wrote. “Let me be yo video ho.” Slim Thug’s comments come on heels of Tory Lanez being found guilty in his trial against Megan Thee Stallion. The Canadian rapper was charged with assault with a semi-automatic firearm, carrying a loaded and discharging a firearm with gross negligence.

Why Was Jay-Z Dragged Into The Aftermath Of Tory Lanez’s Trial Verdict?

The assault trial against Tory Lanez for shooting Megan Thee Stallion concluded in dramatic fashion last week, with Lanez’ conviction on three charges. In addition to committing assault with a firearm causing great bodily injury, the Canadian rapper was also found guilty of concealing a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle, and discharging a firearm with gross negligence. Naturally, with such a contentious trial, the result was disputed online, but nowhere more forcefully than in Tory’s father’s post-trial outburst — which has sparked some attention-getting reactions of its own.

After the trial, Tory’s father, Sonstar Peterson, addressed reporters, called the outcome of the trial a “miscarriage of justice” and decried Megan’s management company, Roc Nation, as well as its founder, Jay-Z, promising Roc Nation would “crumble.” Of course, an entertainment management company would really have very little clout in a court of criminal law, and Jay-Z probably wouldn’t have had any dealings with Tory Lanez at all if they weren’t tangentially related to the shooting, so fans were delighted by the opportunity to finally have some fun with the otherwise grim proceedings.

Obviously, Jay-Z makes for a convenient target on whom the Peterson family can cast aspersions. Jay spent the early part of the millennium as the subject of numerous online conspiracy theories, including his supposed membership in such secret societies as the Illuminati and the Freemasons, so much so that he addressed such rumors repeatedly in songs like Rick Ross’ “Free Mason” (“I said that I’m amazin’,” he cracks. “Not that I’m a mason!”). Tory and his family, in the face of overwhelming logic, have naturally resorted to illogical defenses, suggesting a conspiracy against him, so it makes sense they would latch onto a figure who already has a “history” of conspiracies.

In any case, Tory Lanez now faces up to 22 years in prison and deportation as a result of … well, the consequences of his own actions. Meanwhile, Meg has yet to address the verdict but it has been reported that she and her lawyers are considering legal action against the slew of blogs that threw their support behind Lanez by posting venomous, false reports throughout the proceedings to undermine her credibility and generally make her out to be the villain. We wish her the best of luck.

Roc Nation Trends On Twitter As Users Poke Fun At Tory Lanez’s Dad

The two weeks during which Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion’s trial took place earlier this week were undeniably tense. Since then, however, the internet has blown up with memes reacting to some of the more comedic moments that took place throughout the case.

Most recently, it’s been the artist’s father, Sonstar Peterson, who is being markedly ridiculed online. Specifically, Twitter users are having a field day with his condemnation of Roc Nation following his son’s guilty verdict.

“I just stood here and witnessed the worst miscarriage of justice that this world has ever seen. You want to know how I feel, I’ll tell you exactly how I feel,” he ranted after being removed from the courthouse last week.

Sonstar obviously thinks that Megan’s lawyer, Alex Spiro, and Roc Nation’s COO, Desiree Perez, are to blame for Lanez’s prosecution. Additionally, he cast blame on “the whole wicked system of Roc Nation, including you, Jay-Z.”

“You who say you rose from the gutter, but you have traded and bartered the souls of young men, and you’re still doing it,” Peterson continued targeting Hov.

Aside from his father’s reaction, the “Say It” hitmaker also has countless fans still in his corner. Many of them have accordingly signed a petition requesting Lanez be released. However, it’s unlikely that will be entertained before his January 27th sentencing.

Thee Stallion herself comparatively has yet to comment on the situation. Still, Twitter users are keeping the verdict in the vernacular by blaming Roc Nation for some of their own problems, in the same style as Sonstar.

“Roc Nation can’t keep getting away with this,” one person previously replied to a post reading, “The fact that it’s 10 degrees in every state don’t seem strange to y’all?”

Another chimed in, “Half the people who work for Roc Nation can’t even get into the Roc Nation brunch but sure they have control over LA superior court.”

In other news, we recently revealed what Tory Lanez got to eat for Christmas dinner while behind bars. Read more about that here, and afterwards, check out more funny tweets below.

Drake’s Long-Time Producer Noah ’40’ Shebib Showed Support To Megan Thee Stallion On Instagram

The hip-hop community remains divided over the Daystar ‘Tory Lanez’ Peterson v. The State Of California criminal case. Unfortunately, the victim in the case, rapper Megan Thee Stallion, has found herself in the middle of some vicious attacks from veteran acts 50 Cent and Joe Budden. Thankfully, now that Tory Lanez has formally been found guilty of shooting Megan, the public has begun to flood the “Anxiety” with support, including Drake’s long-time producer Noah “40” Shebib.

Social wellness organization On Canada Project shared a gallery of images on Instagram declaring their support of the musician. Fans quickly noticed Shebib in the comment section.

The producer used a few emojis, including the hands of praise and applause, to second the organization’s #IStandWithMeganTheeStallion caption. While fellow commentators enjoyed seeing Shebib’s outward support of Megan, several were confused due to his long-time friendship and business partnership with Drake.

As the co-founder of the OVO Sound label, Shebib has worked on all of Drake’s albums, including his collaborative project Her Loss with 21 Savage. His public support of Megan Thee Stallion directly contradicts his professional work on the album. On the song “Circo Loco,” featured on the album, Drake subliminally disses Meg, rapping, “This b*tch lie ’bout getting shots, but she still a stallion / She don’t even get the joke, but she still smiling.”

Later rapping, “Shorty say she graduated, she ain’t learn enough / Play your album, track onе, ‘kay, I heard enough,” which is a direct jab at Meg graduating from Texas Southern University in 2021.

In the credits for the song, Shebib isn’t listed as a producer. However, he is listed as a writer.

Shebib’s attempt to show support for the H-Town hottie may have backfired.
