Over the years, T.I. has built an impressive musical career, and an expansive family as well. Notably, T.I.’s relationship with his wife, as well as his kids, has certainly been in the public eye for quite some time. Understandably, as a public figure, this means that both the highs and the lows of family life can make the media rounds. As a matter of fact, in a video recently shared online, T.I. got into a public spat with his son, King Harris. The rapper has undoubtedly faced challenges with parenting his kids. However, through it all, they remain a big part of his life. The rapper is a proud father of seven children, some of whom are now full-grown adults.
Born on March 20, 1996, Zonnique Jailee Pullins is the first of T.I.’s seven kids. Although she is not his biological child, he has been a father figure to her for years. Pullins was conceived in a previous relationship Tameka “Tiny” Cottle had with Zonnie Pullins in the ‘90s. While Zonnie Pullins separated from Tiny years ago, he remains present in his daughter’s life. The 27-year-old is also musician and member of the girl group OMG Girlz. Furthermore, she is a mother of one and welcomed her daughter in December 2020.
The first of T.I.’s biological kids, Messiah was born on February 2, 2000. Like Zonnique, Messiah is not a child the rapper shares with his wife Tiny. Rather, the 23-year-old is from a past relationship the rapper had with Lashon Dixon. Taking after his father, Messiah now has a career in the entertainment industry. He is a budding musician and releases music under the name Buddy Red. He is also an actor and has appeared in a handful of movies, including Sons 2 The Grave (2022) and The Products Of The American Ghetto (2016).
Born just a year after Messiah, Domani is the second child shared by T.I. and Lashon Dixon. The couple welcomed him on March 16, 2001, in Atlanta. Subsequently, they separated and did not get back together. In the years that followed, Domani discovered his love for music. He started rapping at the age of 10 and eventually chose to pursue a career in music, like his older siblings and father. Since then, he has achieved some impressive feats, particularly a Tony Award nomination in 2018.
Of T.I.’s biological kids, Deyjah is his oldest daughter. She was born on June 17, 2001, just months after Domani. Deyjah’s mother is singer/songwriter Ms. Niko. Although she spent time with her father as she grew up, Deyjah was primarily raised by her mother. Furthermore, of all T.I.’s kids, she is the only one not interested in pursuing a career in the entertainment industry. Instead, the 22-year-old is a popular social media influencer and has been a Fashion Nova partner for several years now. While her relationship with her father has experienced considerable strain, he continually expresses his loves love for her.
Several years after they started dating, T.I. and Tiny bore King, their first child together. Born on August 25, 2004, the 19-year-old bears the same names as his father and grandfather. Additionally, like most of his older siblings, he is a musician and performs under the name Kid Saiyan. King Harris recently shared in an interview with Funny Marco that he spent the bulk of his childhood with his grandmother, and would visit his parents whenever they were recording T.I.’s reality show, T.I. and Tiny: Family Hustle. Evidently, the two have their rough patches. However, while they may currently be at loggerheads, T.I. has a history of supporting King and verbally expressing his love for him.
Born on May 16, 2008, Major is the second child T.I. and Tiny share together. At 15, he is also T.I.’s youngest son. Despite his young age, Major has already expressed an interest in following the steps of his parents, career-wise. With a growing social media following, the teenager seems to be building a fanbase for his eventual debut.
Completing T.I.’s clan is Heiress Diana Harris who is currently the youngest of all his kids. She was born to T.I. and Tiny in Atlanta on March 26, 2016. Considering her age, there’s very limited information about the youngster. However, the public was informed via an Instagram video posted by Tiny, that Heiress is already attending an acting school. In the video, the 7-year-old sweetly sings “Who’s Loving You” by The Jackson 5.
Over the weekend T.I. and Tiny and their son King Harris got into an argument that turned physical while attending the Atlanta Falcons NFL game on Sunday. T.I., and his wife Tiny debated with King about his upbringing which led to a physical scuffle between father and son. Now King is demanding $10k to tell the media his side of the story.
The argument, which the 19-year-old livestreamed on Instagram, grew out of T.I. and Tiny’s claims that King can’t understand what it was like to grow up poor. The “Whatever You Like” rapper can be heard asking King if he knows what it’s like to “wake up with a roach on your face?” As the crowd mocks him for having a “silver spoon,” King yells that he was often left at his grandmother’s house.
After the fight went viral T.I. shared a video promoting he and King’s episode of the ‘GOAT Talk’ podcast.
Fck what dis internet talkin bout… Da HFamily Tied Like a Knot We all We Got…4LIFE… Ima RIDE to da heavens or da depths of HELL bout my Jr.& ain’t nothing gon change that. Now tune in t

This past weekend, T.I. found himself at the center of an unexpected family drama that quickly escalated on social media. Most recently, he chose to address it and move on from the situation nonchalantly. The rapper, known for his candidness, took to Instagram to address the situation involving his son, King Harris, shedding light on the family dynamics that unfolded during a public outing. “Fck what dis internet talkin bout… Da Harris Family Tied Like a Knot We all We Got…4LIFE,” T.I. declared in an Instagram post. The rapper made it clear that, regardless of the online chatter, the Harris family remains a tight-knit unit. “Ima RIDE to da heavens or da depths of HELL bout my Jr. & ain’t nothing gon change that,” he affirmed.
The controversy arose during the Atlanta Falcons’ home game with the New Orleans Saints, where T.I. brought his family to celebrate the 50th anniversary of hip-hop. However, the mood took a turn when King Harris went live on Instagram, sharing his perspective on growing up in the trap. T.I. and his wife, Tiny, quickly intervened, and set the record straight. According to them, he did not grow up in the trap and used a pacifier until the age of 12.
The incident sparked heated discussions online, drawing attention to the complexities of family dynamics in the public eye. Despite the public fallout, T.I. remains focused on family unity and resilience. “Now tune in to the new episode of #GOATTalk wit Me & my Jr. @the_next_king10 out now on @complex,” he urged, redirecting the narrative to a more positive platform. Adding another layer to the unfolding drama, King Harris set an asking price of “10k a interview or I don’t wanna talk” on his Instagram Story, showcasing a unique approach to controlling his narrative in the media.
As the online discussion continues, T.I.’s promotion of the interview with his son on Complex suggests an attempt to address the family dynamics in a more controlled and collaborative environment, highlighting the resilience and unity within the Harris family. T.I. has made a significant contribution to his community by inaugurating an affordable housing development in West Atlanta to provide shelter for homeless and troubled youth. Joined by his wife Tiny and Atlanta’s Mayor, he underscored the initiative’s focus on addressing community needs, highlighting the role of the arts and entertainment industry in making this impactful project a reality.
T.I. Opens Affordable Housing Development
T.I. has opened an affordable housing development in West Atlanta to provide shelter for homeless and troubled youth.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony on Nov. 14 marked the unveiling of the Intrada Westside, featuring 143 apartments and 25 special units designed specifically for homeless youth. The Atlanta rap legend, accompanied by his wife Tiny and Atlanta mayor Andrew Dickens, emphasized the importance of addressing the community’s needs and the influence of the arts and entertainment industry in making this initiative possible.
T.I. Shares A Statement
The “What You Know” rapper shared a statement to Atlanta’s Channel 2 Action News and also remembered how the community struggled financially when he was young.
“The arts and entertainment industry in this city has been able to collaborate and, I guess, be profitable enough to offer the community so many things that are much needed,” T.I. said.
The project holds personal significance for T.I. as it is situated near the area where he grew up and where his grandmother used to shop for groceries. Users on Twitter (X) reacted to T.I. opening up the housing developments.
One user named @DjSmokeTown commented, “Love seeing this, need more rappers on this type of time,” and one other user named @MrTeeRed commented “So dope but they won’t cover this on the news. “
Making A Difference
T.I.’s Briarhouse Holdings company partnered with the city and the Vecino group to turn the once bustling shopping center into a housing complex. The development aims to create a mixed-use community, addressing housing and commercial needs.
Inspired by Killer Mike’s words, T.I. emphasizes that collective efforts can create a significant impact on the community. Encouragement poured in from social media users, with one individual recognizing the importance of rappers participating in such endeavors.
Rising From The Ashes
The housing project is not T.I.’s only recent achievement. He and his wife Tiny recently secured a legal victory in a defamation lawsuit against Sabrina Peterson.
The couple was accused of sexual and physical assault, and, in Peterson’s claims, T.I. was alleged to have pointed a gun at her. However, the court ruled in favor of T.I. and Tiny, dismissing the claims made against them.
Queen Bey & Kelly Rowland Team Up For Housing Project
Other artists have donated housing projects to the less fortunate such as star singers Beyonce and Kelly Rowland. The Destiny’s Child singers teamed up with Houston to help build 31 permanent housing units to address homelessness. The project was called the Knowles-Rowland House.
Earlier today, Tiny took to social media to try and drum up support for a cause she seems to care about. As the story goes, R&B singer Trey Songz was in Dubai when a fan approached him and his bodyguard stepped in to prevent any kind of attack. The bodyguard, Cornell Whitfield made physical contact with the man to try and prevent and harm to Songz. But when Whitfield returned to Dubai two months ago he was arrested, as the man he struck had filed a criminal complaint.
Now, Tiny is making a push to help Whitfield get home by sharing a GoFundMe made to help him secure his freedom. “We are asking for your help… $60k is what we are trying to raise to bring Champ back to the states. This situation is unfortunate and he does not deserve to be treated any kind of way for doing his job. He is a family man and a loving father who deserves to be with his loved ones.” In the post itself she includes a headline summarizing the situation and on her story provides a link where fans can donate. Check out the full post below.
Unfortunately for Tiny, fans weren’t focusing on the cause she was championing. They instead questioned how much she was giving to the cause herself. “So between her, tip and trigga they couldn’t give 20k each,” one commentor asks. “It’s disrespectful to flex Rolls Royce’s and million Dollar watches and then ask us for 60k,” another agrees.
Last month, T.I and Tiny were granted yet another trial in their lawsuit against MGA Entertainment. The suit deals with the company’s alleged misuse of Tiny’s OMG Girlz, dating back to 2019. The still upcoming trial will be the third held over this lawsuit. The first ended in a mistrial while the second ended with T.I. and Tuny unable to convince the jury of their argument. What do you think of Tiny’s post sharing the story of Trey Songz bodyguard? Let us know in the comment section below.
Two years ago rapper T.I. and his wife, singer Tiny Harris were sued by their former friend Sabrina Peterson for defamation of character, invasion of privacy, interference with prospective economic advantage, and emotional distress. Peterson publicly accused the couple of being sexual predators and luring women with drugs for their sexual pleasure.
Now T.I. and Tiny are seeking reimbursement of their legal fees after Peterson quietly dropped the case.
Radar Online reports:
Rapper T.I. and his wife Tiny want their ex-friend Sabrina Peterson to pay a 6-figure sum to cover the legal fees they racked up defending themselves in the lawsuit she brought accusing the couple of a coordinated harassment attack, RadarOnline.com has learned.
According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, T.I. [real name: Clifford Harris] and Tiny have demanded $164,650.56 from Sabrina.
Now, in a newly filed document, T.I. and Tiny asked the court to award them $164,650.
“The Harrises’ request for $164,650.56 in attorneys’ fees and costs is reasonable and in line with fee awards regularly affirmed in this district. Given the complexity of the legal issues, the time necessary to adjudicate Peterson’s seven causes of action over a two-year period, and the additional costs of appeal, the amount requested should be awarded in full,” the couple’s lawyer wrote.
A judge has yet to rule. The case remains ongoing with the remaining claims.
For years now we’ve watched the youngest daughter of T.I. and Tiny’s, Heiress Harris sing and practice big vocals with her trainer on Instagram. Now the talent continues in this musical family as Heiress takes the stage for her first public performance.
Tiny wrote on her Instagram page:
Always a proud moment seeing my lil mama @heiressdharris do her thang! She did a song & a skit!! Of course mama loved every min of it!! Thank you at everyone at @agientertainmentofficial for taking out their time to build & make future stars!! #HeiressHarris #Agi #StarInTheMaking

In a shocking ending to a long trial, T.I. and Tiny have lost their copyright infringement lawsuit against the L.O.L. Surprise! doll maker MGA Entertainment. While many agreed that the top-selling dolls resemble the former girl group, a jury sided with the powerhouse doll company.
Rapper T.I. and his wife Tiny initially sued MGA Entertainment for allegedly stealing the name, likeness, and trade dress of OMG Girlz, the pop trio Tiny founded in 2009 — when the company launched its “L.O.L. Surprise OMG” dolls in 2019.
The case first went to trial in January, but a mistrial was declared after T.I. and Tiny’s lawyer accused MGA of “racist cultural appropriation.”
The $100 million lawsuit went back to trial this month, and after arguments related to 31 potentially infringing dolls were made, the jury ultimately needed less than two hours to rule in favor of MGA Entertainment, Legal Affairs and Trials reported.
Following the verdict, MGA CEO Isaac Larian called T.I. and Tiny’s lawsuit a “shakedown.” “I’m not happy because I wasted a lot of time, energy — my employees’ time, energy — to deal with an extortion,” Larian said. “They knew from the beginning they don’t have a case, and they brought it anyways. And they picked on the wrong guy.”
T.I. and his wife, Tiny, returned to federal court on May 10 for a second trial. This time, they are continuing their battle against toymaker MGA, accusing them of producing L.O.L. Surprise dolls that resemble members of the popular group OMG Girlz. Updated By: Chris Samuel (5/11/23 at 3:14 pm) T.I. and his wife, Tiny, […]
It’s always an honor to sit with the legendary XSCAPE.
If you’re a fan of R&B, you’re a fan of XSCAPE. Exploding onto the scene in 1991, the R&B quartet is composed of Kandi Burruss, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, Tamika Scott, and LaTocha Scott.
In fact, it was Jermaine Dupri who wrote and produced the girls’ breakout hit, “Just Kickin’ It,” which even today stands as their biggest song to date.
Fast forward to now, XSCAPE returns to celebrate their 30-year anniversary. In addition to continuing to tour the world, the girls are excited to premiere their newest television show titled SWV & XSCAPE: The Queens of R&B, which premieres on Sunday, March 5th. The Bravo-hosted series sees two of the biggest R&B girl groups of all time coming together, giving audiences a first row, VIP seat to all the glory and drama that unfolds.
Each episode captures the highs and lows of the reality of being a touring artist, with not only their careers, but family commitments and business endeavors. And after an epic VERZUZ behind XSCAPE and SWV, fans are on their edge of their seat to see which group will take the highly-coveted headlining slot.
The Source caught up with Kandi, Tamika, and Tiny in downtown Los Angeles, to discuss the nostalgia of 90’s R&B, the new show, their favorite singers, secret to relationships, personal endeavors, and more!
What is it about ‘90s R&B that gives people such nostalgia?
Kandi: 90’s R&B, to me it was way more harmonies back in the day. People don’t harmonize anymore. It was a lot more love lyrics and stuff like that, making love. Now, it’s “fuck that n*gga.” All types of stuff right now. [laughs]
Tamika: Hooks. You can have a dope hook, but the verses aren’t really saying nothing. Back then you had a dope hook, the verses meant a lot of things, and it’s still relevant to today.
Tiny: We had great storylines. We had some great artists back then. We forgot about Kut Klose. We had some good groups back then that had some major great hits.
The trailer for SWV & XSCAPE: The Queens of R&Bshows a lot of tension. What was the reality of filming together?
Kandi: A lot of tension.
All: [laughs]
Tiny: It was real.
Kandi: When we came into the show, we were really cool with SWV. Because for years, we’ve always had a good relationship. But our own group, we was dealing with our own inner turmoil.
Tamika: Our inner demons.
Kandi: We got a lot of stuff that we still haven’t even worked out, since filming ended. We were dealing with that. You get to see that on the show obviously, but then we ended up bumping heads with SWV because the whole show is about us trying to come together to put this concert together. When you get to groups that have accomplished a lot, you get the egos involved, it can be a disaster.
Was it fun though?
Kandi: No.
All: [laughs]
Tiny: The fun part was when it was over.
Kandi: We really got to the point we’re like,” Ooh, I can’t wait until this shit over.
What was the most difficult moment from filming?
Tiny: I think us battling about who’s going to close the show.
Kandi: That was an unnecessary moment to me.
Tiny: Between the two of us, but we had bigger moments that were more explosive as a group. Of just us four girls, we had way bigger moments. But between SWV and XSCAPE, I’d say the battling over who’s going to end the show.
That’s a real thing!
Kandi: It is a real thing!
So who closed the show?
All: You gotta watch the show!
Tamika: Why do you think we’re mad? No I’m just playing.
March is Women’s History Month. As an all-female group, who are some of the most important women singers?
Kandi: The most important singers, you mean history? Obviously Whitney [Houston], Mariah [Carey], Stephanie Mills, Gladys Knight.
Tiny: We talking 30 years. Anita Baker! Chaka Khan.
Tamika: Sade’s been doing it a long time, she don’t even get her just due.
Kandi: Definitely Sade.
Tiny: Kelly Price. Britney Spears.
Kandi: You gotta give Beyonce and those artists their just due. Rihanna.
Tamika: And the list goes on, there’s so many.
Kandi: Taylor Swift.
Tamika: Yes, all different genres. Pink baby!
Kandi: Miley Cyrus, all the women from now till back then.
You mentioned Chaka Khan, did you see she had a problem with the best 200 singers list on the Rolling Stone?
Tiny: I did. I laughed because I like the way she talks. She talks like me! The stuff she was saying out her mouth, I loved it.
Kandi: That’s like that auntie, you’re like “oh Lord, here she comes.”
How do you balance being a mom and having a career?
Tamika: The same way we nurture our careers, we nurture our families too. We don’t have stuff when it comes to that, we give them the time and the love. At times when we’re busy, they understand. My daughter told me, “You’re not working on my birthday.” I’m like, every birthday, I have to fly you and your friends to wherever you want to go. It’s a 9-year-old, I’m working on your birthday if I have to. But they get it though.
Tiny: I usually don’t work on my childrens’ birthday at all. Because my husband don’t do it, so I can’t be lesser than. [laughs] My daughter’s birthday is the 26th and we got a job the day before, so I’m like dang. She’s like, “You ain’t gonna be there for my birthday!” I will be there for your birthday, just maybe not for the party. Her birthday is on Sunday. If I would have known that before I took that show, I would’ve been like no.
Tamika: We actually leave on my daughter’s birthday. Zonnique’s the 20th, O’Shun’s is the 24th, then Heiress the 26th.
Tiny: When they get older, yeah I’m working, because they doing their own things. But the little ones, Major and Heiress, I’ll be there.
Tamika: That’s so sweet, because I’m working. [laughs]
What are some of the challenges of raising a family in the spotlight?
Kandi: A lot of people have their opinions and say so in your kids’ lives. My daughter Riley, they constantly be on Riley about anything. “Oh, she lost weight. Oh, she gained weight.” She’s six years old when she came on the show on TV, so people seeing her grow up. She’s 20 now. Sometimes people have a little bit too much opinion about my child.
Other than that, your kids have a lot to learn how to have tough skin as well, because they are growing up in the spotlight. A lot of our kids want to be in the entertainment business, some of them by default. Ace, he’s acting now. I don’t know if that was his thought, but his ass is doing it. [laughs] Riley is behind-the-scenes,she works at a record label now and she goes to NYU.
They all have to learn how to accept that being a spotlight comes with a lot.
Congrats Kandi, you’re receiving the LOVE Award at the 2023 BET Her Awards. What is the secret to a successful relationship?
Tamika: Respect, communication, and you got to have sex. Even if you have shit to do, you have to please your partner. Because if you say no, there’s somebody else that will say yes. That’s what I be thinking.
Tiny: My man knows that. He’ll have the worst attitude. All day, he’ll be like [makes sour face].
All of that, just because I said not right now? It’s terrible.
Tamika: No, you can’t do that.
Tiny: Just working hard towards it, because relationships are really hard. Especially if it’s in the spotlight, so both people have to really work at it.
Tamika: It’s not hard for me. [laughs] I married my best friend, we were friends first. Friends friends, like knows each other’s secrets friends.
Tiny: I married my best friend too! But still, he’s a bigger superstar than me.
Kandi: I agree with them. Me and my husband, we do everything together. We’re building empires together. I talk to him about everything. Our communication is like no other, and he’s the only guy that I never got bored with. Before meeting my husband, I’d date somebody for a little while, then okay, I’m over it. Time to go. [laughs]
Tiny: I was once told by an older wise young lady, she said “if you find a man that loves you more than you love him, y’all gon’ be together forever.” My sister used to tell me that all the time. “Girl, he’s never going nowhere. He loves you so much! You couldn’t lose him if you wanted to.” She dropped some gems, along with Auntie Georgie honey.
What personal endeavors are you ladies working on?
Kandi: We just wrapped Season 15 of Real Housewives of Atlanta. XSCAPE, our new show’s coming out every Sunday. We want everybody tuned in on Bravo. I have a movie coming out that I’m in next April, called Pretty Stoned. I’m starting filming The Chi. The new season of A La Carte, second season. My husband and I just produced a movie, it’s called The Past. Hopefully by the end of the year, then our restaurants. We doing a lot of stuff. XSCAPE, we got some concerts coming out.
Tiny: We got concerts for all of us. We have them up to June/July.
How is it performing now versus back then?
Tiny: Now, it’s better because we have got to a point where we headline shows. We have big shows, we have the LED screens. We have all the bells and whistles to a show. Not to a JLo level…
Tamika: It’s coming!
Tiny: Yeah it’s coming, but we have bells and whistles that make up a real show. Back in the day: okay y’all got 10 to 15 minutes. Go on over there and do what y’all gonna do.
Tamika: In front of the curtain! [laughs]
Tiny: So yes, it’s so much bigger deal now.
Do you guys get nervous ever?
Tiny: Yeah, we do. Every time before a show.
Tamika: Yes I do. It’s crazy: every time I get nervous, Kandi knows it. She’ll come over and I feel the soft hands in my hand, she’ll be like “you got this friend!”
Tiny: She got the softest hands!
Tamika: The softest hands ever! I hate when people shake her hand, then mine.
What do you use?!
Kandi: I don’t use anything!
Tiny & Tamika: It’s DNA. She’s just soft.
Tamika, any personal endeavors for you?
Tamika: I have my own seasoning line called Tamika Scott Southern Fuse Spice Line, go to southernfuse.com. I have my cookbook, Table Set Cooking with Tamika Scott. uyI just directed my husband’s first inspirational video with Pastor John Gray and Empire’s Terrell Carter. He’s singing on it.
Kandi: Does that mean y’all can’t drink no more?
Tamika: Who can’t? Jesus, his first miracle was wine. Don’t play with me. That was the first miracle he ever did, was wine.
Favorite thing to cook?
Tamika: Everything! Oh my gosh, my favorite thing to eat is seafood. But I cook everything. You name it, I can cook it.
Do you cook for them?
Tamika: I cooked for them for VERZUZ. When we did VERZUZ with SWV, I catered that.
What was the highlight from the VERZUZ?
Tamika: Beating they butt!
All: [claps & laughs]
When we saw it was like “bring it back! Bring it back!” My girls brought it back and did a home run. They did a Grand Slam! Shoot, y’all killed it. I was a fan of us that night.
