Trick Daddy Embarrasses Yung Miami With Childhood Throwback

Trick Daddy shared a throwback photo of himself and Yung Miami on Instagram on Monday without clueing fans into the identity of the young girl. “I’ve taken so many pics thru out my career but who can guess who these kids here!!” Trick asked in the caption of the post. When The Shade Room reshared the image, Yung Miami hopped in the comments section to reveal she’s one of the girls. “Fr shaderoom delete me,” she wrote with laughing emojis. “That’s me and my sister yall @itsmekcee25 we was to ugly omg.”

Other fans in the comments made plenty of jokes about the image. “Trick looking like he finna beat up the cameraman after he get done taking pictures,” one user wrote. Others brought up Miami’s past relationship with Diddy. One fan came to her defense in that regard: “Can yall stop bringing up Diddy every time you see her please? She had a name before him and she’s still doing her after him. Let it go.”

Trick Daddy previously made headlines for claiming that fans are more interested in Yung Miami than her City Girls partner, JT. He had been referring to Miami’s Revolt series, Caresha Please, while discussing her on It’s Tricky with Raquel Harper. “I’m not saying that to the talent-wise, ’cause the City Girls is the hottest group out there talent-wise,” he clarified at the time. “I’m talking about for the stuff that she is promoting. Now, I seen Caresha on her podcast, she had P. Diddy on there blushing like a 14-year-old boy. She got something down there, you feel me? I don’t know what Caresha got going on, but she got something down there.”

Drake Shows Tremendous Love For Lil Wayne With Young Money Throwback Repost

There’s no doubt that two of the biggest hip-hop artists of this generation and Drake and Lil Wayne. They are powerful forces on their own, but when they come together, it’s always going to be an even more special moment. Unfortunately, at least on the outside looking in, both legends aren’t up to much as a duo. The last time we heard them on a record(s) was back in 2021 on a reissue of Nicki Minaj’s “Seeing Green” and then on Certified Lover Boy. However, with Drizzy fending off tons of outside noise from his contemporaries, it sort of makes sense why things haven’t been the same ol’ same ol’.

But with them developing a partnership/friendship since the late 2000s, true close buds will always find a way to support each other. That’s the case here, as Drake is doing so from afar, according to HipHopDX. A Lil Wayne fan account on social media who goes by liltunechi_classics reposted a clip from 2009 during the heat of the Young Money days. It’s a wholesome video, as Weezy is “introducing” two of his newest signees to an “excited crowd”. The Louisiana native mimicked an audience screaming while Drake was holding the mic.

After listing off his laundry list of nicknames, he then gave the mic to Nicki. All three of them had a hard time keeping a straight face, as Drake was making suggestive and childish noises during her self-introduction. The For All The Dogs creator came across the post and shared it on his IG Story while speaking highly of Lil Wayne. “We were so lucky to have the most supportive boss in the game always gassed us up”. You can be skeptical of where they stand with each other right now, but you cannot deny that they at least have incredible amounts of mutual respect for one another.

What are your thoughts on the love from Drake to Lil Wayne in this throwback repost? Do you think we will eventually see a reuniting of sorts down the line? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Lil Wayne and Drake. Big Sean, Kendrick Lamar & Royce Da 5’9″ Teamed Up On “100” Off Of “Detroit” 12 Years Ago Today: Stream

Big Sean’s brand new album Better Me Than You has us reminiscing on how far he’s come in his career. Moreover, 12 years ago today (September 5), he dropped his breakout mixtape Detroit on the Internet and re-released it on streaming services for its ten-year anniversary. While there are plenty of highlights to name here, there are multiple reasons as to why “100” featuring Kendrick Lamar and Royce Da 5’9″ is an easy standout.

For one, these introspective verses see each MC speak on their aspirations before their life is over, ripping through a dramatic and percussively stark instrumental. Also, this is a minor but still relevant chapter in the beef history between Big Sean and Kendrick Lamar, a tale that ended amicably. But it’s curious to hear this track back when you consider that it dropped a year before K.Dot would challenge Sean and many others on their “Control” collab. For obvious reasons, this reflection on that competitiveness is more relevant than ever these days.

Meanwhile, with a potential collab album with The Alchemist on the way, this throwback doesn’t take away from all we have to look forward to from Big Sean in the future. If you haven’t heard “100” with Kendrick Lamar and Royce Da 5’9″, find it on your preferred streaming service or check it out on YouTube below. Down there, you can also find some standout bars and the comments section for you to leave your thoughts on this retrospective look. As always, come back to HNHH for more recollections throughout hip-hop history.

Lil Wayne & Nicki Minaj Bodied “Mercy” On “Dedication 4”

There’s no doubt that Lil Wayne is one of the greatest MCs to ever spit into a microphone. He may not be at the peak of his powers anymore; however, his influence and tons of classic projects make him an irreplaceable figure in the genre’s history. He did most of his dominating throughout the 2000s and into the mid 2010s, which is obviously another reason why he’s so highly regarded. Making this longevity all the more impressive is how often he was dropping. On top of streaming platforms, mixtape sites such as DatPiff were just another area where Weezy ran things. The Louisiana native was able to do this with his Dedication series, perhaps most notably.

Across the now six installments in this fan-favorite series, he gave his best stuff to tons of popular beats across hip-hop. Dedication 4 saw Lil Wayne attack “Mercy” by Kanye West, a mid-2010’s club banger that still hits today. Working with Wayne on this interpolation is none other than Nicki Minaj, one of his closest pals and collaborators. Obviously with this track officially turning 12 today, we know how it goes. But this track still wows us all these years later thanks to their show-stopping flows and hilarious bars/double entendres. Relive Lil Wayne’s “remix” of “Mercy” with the link below.

Drake Hilariously Roasts Joe Budden’s Throwback Beach Photo

It’s no secret that Drake and Joe Budden don’t get along, and last night, Drizzy hopped online to troll the podcaster on Instagram. He shared a series of photos featuring himself, Duke Dennis, and Budden, suggesting that they influenced his infamous selfie pose. “I’m not aware of my picture or mirror face it’s a curse from birth and I’m influenced by what I see,” he captioned the photos.

His trolling didn’t stop there, however. One fan in his comments section took note of Budden’s bold pose, which Drake proceeded to roast him for. “2 hand gun squat at the beach is nuts tho,” the commenter wrote. “😂😂😂😂 double gun finger dip down is zaney,” Drake responded, “He’s headed back to the all inclusive and about to order a martini shaken not stirred casino royale a** pose in the Shawn Marion shorts.”

Drake Gives Joe Budden A Shoutout

While social media users are somewhat surprised that he decided to give Budden a shoutout at all, the personality has had plenty to say about Drake in recent months, and most of it hasn’t been nice. For this reason, many can agree that Budden had it coming. He’s yet to respond to the post, though it’s likely he’ll address it on the next episode of his podcast. Budden doesn’t only have negative things to say about Drake these days, however. He shocked fans earlier this week by praising the Toronto hitmaker for his latest release.

Drake dropped three tracks on 100gigs.org last week, and Budden had mostly nice things to say about them. According to him, Drake is “doing a decent job now in post-battle recovery,” and he’ll have a “front-row seat” for game 2 if it happens. What do you think of Drake roasting an old photo of Joe Budden? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Big Sean Had Everyone Screaming “I Don’t F*** With You” With His 2015 Smash Hit

After multiple setbacks and leaks, Big Sean is finally releasing his next studio album Better Me Than You this Friday. Overall, it’s been a mentally and emotionally taxing process for the Detroit, Michigan rapper. In fact, during a recent Instagram Live, he let his emotions out, getting pretty tearful explaining what he’s been going through trying to get this album as perfect as he possibly could despite all sorts of roadblocks. “When you make art, you put your heart into this s***”, he told his IG audience. Now, him and his fans can celebrate all of the hard work on August 30, and we can also not wait for what’s in store.

So, to tide our appetites over, we are heading back to one of his biggest bangers and records ever, “I Don’t F*** With You”. As most people know, this 2015 track landed on his third studio album Dark Sky Paradise, one of his releases with G.O.O.D. Music and Def Jam Recordings. One thing about Big Sean is that he’s always going to rap with a lot of fervor, especially on his aggressive sounding tracks. He does this through using zany voice inflections, something that newbies to his music are just now coming to learn about. It’s part of the reason why this song became such a hit. However, you cannot forget about the iconic pre-chorus and chorus, the high school football music video, and the equally entertaining E-40 verse. Relive “I Don’t F*** With You” below.

Drake & J Cole Stock Up On “Born Sinner” CDs In Old Clip From Drizzy’s “100 GIGS” Website

Fans aren’t really clear on whether or not J. Cole and Drake are still cool with each other after the Kendrick Lamar battle this year. However, a new batch of footage that the latter released on his “100 GIGS” website suggests that it’s all still love. Moreover, he included an old video that many fans might recognize, showing the “First Person Shooter” duo buying a lot of Cole’s Born Sinner CDs at a New York Best Buy back when it dropped in 2013. Along with some other commonly accessible footage, some fans cheekily wonder why the 6ix God is sharing this stuff from the vault when a quick YouTube search is just as effective. To make matters even more ironic, the video is literally on Cole’s page.

Nevertheless, that’s a nit-picky and irrelevant argument to make if you want to add that to your Drake hater resumé. Jokes aside, another example of this is his inclusion of a classic clip of Kanye West at OVO Fest 2013. In the video, Ye credits the Toronto superstar for inspiring him and Jay-Z to make Watch The Throne together after the “pressure” that he was putting on them and the rap game at the time.

Drake & J. Cole Go On A CD Shopping Spree

Elsewhere, though, it seems like J. Cole might continue to be a “MIDDLE CHILD” when it comes to Drake, a situation he found himself in during March and April of this year. Many fans clowned the Dreamville MC’s decision to retract his Kendrick Lamar disss, thus placing him in between of two warring colleagues. But at the end of the day, it’s probably the most humanistic, honest, and respectable moment to emerge out of this entire saga. Regardless, the reason why he might be stuck between two worlds again is not only because of his feature on Future and Metro Boomin’s WE STILL DON’T TRUST YOU, but because of a supposed collab with A$AP Rocky that will land on the Harlem creative’s next album.

Meanwhile, all these new Drake drops (and shots at his opps) sharply contrast his rival Kendrick Lamar’s silence these days. He might release something soon according to a couple of unverifiable sources, but you’ve been hearing that all year, if not all decade. At least that whole situation didn’t seem to impact Drizzy and J. Cole’s bond, if this re-uploaded Best Buy video is any indication. But some fans will not stop their speculations until their relationship is as clear as day.

Travis Scott, Big Sean, & The 1975 Left Us In Awe With “Don’t Play”

Travis Scott is finally doing something that his die-hard fans have been asking him to do for years. On August 23 at midnight, the Houston megastar is going to be bringing his second mixtape, Days Before Rodeo, to streaming services. The fan-favorite 2014 release has strictly been on Soundcloud or downloaded onto people’s phones illegally for just over a decade. Those days are now over and also for the first time, physical music buyers can relive the magic on vinyl or CD. What’s also so amazing about this is that he will also be dropping some extra tracks from around that time that never got to see the light of day. With all of this excitement, we are going back to DBR to relisten to some of its biggest bangers. Undoubtedly, one of those is “Don’t Play”, the collab between Travis Scott, The 1975, and Big Sean.

The lead single to this 12-track mixtape, “Don’t Play” features one of La Flame’s hungriest rapping performances in his entire discography. While this collection of songs was more so a building block for his debut album Rodeo a year later, there were some fairly consistent themes on DBR. With Scott learning so much from the likes of Kanye West and more, he felt that he was on the cusp of stardom. That’s why there so many songs on here about believing in yourself and having that ambitious mindset. “Don’t Play” is certainly one of those cases, especially with bars like these. “Up at 5 A.M., still workin’, but I treat it like it’s one / I’m never actin’ like I got it / B****, I’m actin’ like I won it on these n****s“. Relive “Don’t Play” with the music video link down below.

Sexyy Red Reminisces On Her High School Days With Slew Of Throwback Photos

Happy Back to School Day, as proclaimed by Sexyy Red. While not every student out there starts today, she took it upon herself to celebrate the new season by sharing a boatload of throwback pictures of herself in her high school days. This is far from the first time that the St. Louis femcee has done so, but we have a lot of new snaps to look at now. Even Metro Boomin and other celebrities pulled up to her comments section to laugh or reminisce themselves. It’s oddly jarring but nonetheless heartening to see this rise from hallway beginnings to superstar status and even an NSFW beauty brand.

Jokes aside, not all of Sexyy Red’s reflections are light, but she always rises above the hardship at the end of the day. “STORY TIME: The night get it sexyy was made I was goin thru a lot,” she captioned an Instagram post celebrating the Gold certification of her hit “Get It Sexyy.” “Just had my baby felt depressed and was goin thru postpartum. My team in Miami would leave me in the studio to write songs. I would just b in there crying thinkin about life. I finally said send me back to St. Louis so I can b around the ones I love and get back to me!

It really was ah confidence booster for me, we was so turnt all my sadness was gone. I love my family period ps… I was monain in the song cause my h0 was behind me humpin me while I was recording.”

Meanwhile, there are still fans demanding answers as to one of Sexyy Red’s recent online antics. Is she really dating Chief Keef, is Kayla B actually Sosa’s partner, or both? Nevertheless, the “Bow Bow Bow” collaborators apparently have a joint album on the way. As such, romance or not, we can expect a lot more bombast from them in the near future.

The Weeknd’s “Out Of Time”: Refreshing Our Memory Amid The Conclusion Of This Final Trilogy

These last two weeks have been an exciting stretch for The Weeknd’s fans. After leaving off with Dawn FM back in January of 2022, Abel would tweet out “I wonder. Did you know you’re experiencing a new trilogy?”. He shared that message shortly after his fifth studio album was released to the public and we can remember the hype levels rising. Right now, though, they are shooting up again after three cryptic teaser trailers revealing what’s in store for this final third. The most recent one titled “Unprepared certainty…” has numerous unreleased tracks playing throughout, giving us still a pretty blurry look into the future. Because of this, we are going back to The Weeknd’s last project and one track we are replaying quite a bit is “Out of Time”.

We will tell you this is for science, but it’s mostly because this track is so damn good. The production on this song is arguably the best on the entire album. Abel, Max Martin, Oscar Holter, and Oneohtrix Point Never, all did an amazing magic job incorporating the dreamy sample from the 1980’s a Japanese pop classic “Midnight Pretenders”. The Weeknd glides over this instrumental, as he gets real about the mistakes he’s made in the past and how his willingness to change is too late to save his relationship. It’s beautiful heartbreaking anthem and one that still captures our ears to this day. We hope he’s able to work some more of these types of sonics into a supposed melding of his ideas from Dawn FM and After Hours.
