The Weeknd has unveiled new dates for expanding his highly successful After Hours Til Dawn Tour, featuring special guests Mike Dean and Chxrry22. The upcoming leg of the tour is set to begin on November 20 at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, Australia, and will include multiple stops across Australia and New Zealand.

Having achieved unprecedented success, The Weeknd’s global stadium run has garnered over $350 million in revenue, breaking attendance records along the way. Recent highlights include breaking attendance records at London Stadium with 160,000 concertgoers over two nights and a record-breaking headline show at Wembley Stadium with 87,000 tickets sold. His performances in Milan, Paris, Nice, and more have also seen exceptional ticket sales and historical milestones.

Proceeds from this tour’s ticket sales will once again contribute to the XO Humanitarian Fund, which supports the United Nations World Food Programme’s efforts to combat global food crises. The fund raised over $1 million during the European leg of the tour and continues to make a positive impact worldwide.

The Weeknd Is Off To Australia And New Zealand “After Hours Til Dawn” Tour

What a run for The Weeknd and his After Hours Til Dawn tour. It continues to blow away records and his fans every night. Everything from the production of each show to the incredible singing moments, and selling out arenas, it truly is one of the greatest sets of performances in the history of the music industry. Recently, The Weeknd “broke Wembley Stadium’s record for sales with their traditional concert set up with the stage at one end of the stadium with 87,000 tickets sold.” That was a statement released by Live Nation UK.

The European leg of the tour kicked off at the beginning of July and took him through Paris, Barcelona, Milan, and most recently, London. With that section completed this past weekend, the multi Diamond-recording artist still has the Latin American side to finish up, which starts September 26. However, The Weeknd has just tacked on four more shows which begin on November 20. He is headed Down Under to Australia and New Zealand to wow more of his global fans.

The Weeknd Shares The Info: Take A Look

According to Billboard, “Vodafone customers can secure pre-sale tickets from Aug. 25, through a new arrangement announced today with LN and its joint venture partner Secret Sounds. The general ticket onsale starts Friday, Sept. 1.” First, the Canadian hitmaker will head to Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane. Next, he is off to Accor Stadium in Sydney on November 24. Third up is Marvel Stadium located in Melbourne on December 1. Last but not least is Eden Park in Auckland, which will be held on December 7.

A few months ago he broke the record of the most monthly listeners on Spotify for any genre eclipsing the 100 million mark. He currently sits at 112 million plus and that number will certainly grow.

In addition, this world tour he embarked on back in 2022 is the highest-grossing tour of the decade. It has raked in well over $350 million dollars in ticket sales. Shortly after, The Weeknd shattered the record for the highest single-night attendance for any show at the London Stadium with 80,000 fans. It is simply remarkable what the hitmaker has pulled off and he still has plenty more shows to go. But before the European leg ended the other night, The Weeknd snagged one more achievement.

The Weeknd Previews “Another One of Me,” Final Feature Of His Career Unless Daft Punk Reconnects

The Weeknd’s vocal chops have long regarded him as one of the best in the music industry today. During a recent concert, he revealed that he has no future plans for guest features – save for one special duo that he’s long looked up to. As Pitchfork reports, the Canadian is currently touring through Europe on his After Hours Til Dawn tour. On stage in Warsaw, he teased a new verse that could mark his last time collaborating with another artist.

“And I just wanna say, this, this is gonna be the last feature I ever do, ever in my career, so I wanna perform it for you guys tonight,” Abel Tesfaye said before belting out “Another One of Me.” It remains unclear who else will appear alongside the Dawn FM artist, or when the complete version is expected to be released. While fans are certainly sad to hear this could be The Weeknd’s last joint effort, he did leave us with some hope for the future. “The final feature… Unless Daft Punk ever get back together,” he wrote via Twitter on Friday (August 11).

The Weeknd Attempts to Bring Daft Punk Out of Retirement

The electronic artists announced the end of their lengthy 28-year run together in February 2021. Prior to going their separate ways, Daft collaborated with The Weeknd on “I Feel It Coming” and the title track from his Starboy LP, both of which were performed at the 2017 Grammy Awards. In the past, the Uncut Gems actor has credited the French creatives as “one of the reasons [he makes] music.”

It’s unclear what the likelihood of a Daft Punk renaissance is at this time, but seeing as he’s still so young, fans of Tesfayes are hoping that he doesn’t retire from making music with his contemporaries quite yet. The Weeknd Says He’s All Done Doing Features Forever (Unless One Artist Decides To Return To Music)

The Weeknd has appeared on a number of other artists’ songs over the past decade or so. In 2021, for example, he guested on tunes from Rosalía and FKA Twigs. He also just popped up on Travis Scott’s Utopia. It looks like that’s coming to an end, though, as The Weeknd just announced that after one more song, he’s all done doing features.

On social media, he shared a clip from his August 9 concert at PGE Narodowy in Warsaw, Poland. In it, he speaks to the audience, telling them he’s about to perform an unreleased song called “Another One Of Me.” He added, “I just want to say: This is going to be the last feature I ever do ever in my career, so I’m going to perform it for you guys tonight.”

There’s one artist who could get him to return to features, though: The post is captioned, “the final feature… unless daft punk ever get back together.”

The Weeknd previously debuted an earlier version of the song on the Kiss Land episode of his Apple Music Beats 1 radio show Memento Mori. Another version later appeared, with vocals from Diddy, in a Beats By Dre advertisement. As a fan on Reddit notes, several different versions of the song have surfaced, including ones featuring French Montana, Belly, and 21 Savage. As for the final song, it is not clear when it will be released or who else appears on it. setlist.fm indicates the August 9 performance was the third time The Weeknd has played the song live, with the previous two instances also happening this month.

Meanwhile, Samra Origins, the coffee brand The Weeknd launched earlier this year, just partnered with Blue Bottle Coffee to launch Samra Origins Craft Instant Coffee, which press materials describe as “a limited-edition run of 100% Ethiopia Natural METAD Yirgacheffe Gedeb Chelebesa.” More information can be found here.

When you think of The Weeknd, you think of his vocal abilities, his creative discography, his gargantuan shows, and probably like two hundred other things before you think of coffee. The Canadian superstar baffled many of his fans on Instagram when he promoted Samra Origins Craft Instant Coffee on his page. Moreover, it’s a video with nine different panels à la “The Brady Bunch” with some pouring, cups, spoons, and packaging. Regardless of how good or not the brand is, many wondered why Abel Tesfaye is now a coffee spokesperson. It’s a good hustle, though, and he seems like the kind of person who wouldn’t team up for something as random as this if he didn’t have good reason to.

The Weeknd Confuses Fans With His Coffee Promo

Of course, it’s not like the XO icon is a stranger to extracurricular endeavors and promotions outside of his music. In fact, we probably got the biggest (and most hated on) example of that this year with his HBO series “The Idol.” Nevertheless, fans were puzzled at this new move. “Please give a round of applause to the social media agency that can’t plan,” one fan commented cruelly. “Why u randomly promoting coffee bro,” someone added, with another clapping back with “You know nothing about coffee if you promoting instant coffee!”

Meanwhile, a lot of people also theorized that someone could’ve hacked his account, and the jury’s out on whether that would be funnier than if he meant it. Still, he would likely take it in stride, especially if he likes a good cup of Joe. After all, it’s not like he would respond to people who don’t like his show– I mean, coffee… right? Travis Scott Unveiled The Tracklist For ‘Utopia,’ But Withheld Its Features

The last time the world received an album from Travis Scott was back in 2018 with the highly anticipated release of his third album Astroworld. The project would go on to receive a Grammy nomination and spawn a Diamond single with the Drake-assisted “Sicko Mode,” among other accolades. Almost four years later, Travis Scott is hoping for the same success with his upcoming fourth album Utopia. It’s a project that’s been four years in the making, but at long last, it will finally be available for fans to stream tonight.

Ahead of its release, Travis Scott took to Instagram to reveal the tracklist for Utopia. The project with 19 songs, including the previously released “KPop” with Bad Bunny and The Weeknd. Just like he did with Astroworld, Travis chose to withhold the features on Utopia, so listeners will have to wait until its release at 12 am EST/9 pm EST to find out the artists that appear on Utopia.

Whenever Travis Scott drops new music, the whole world pays attention. Most recently, the Houston, Texas rapper revealed the release date for his forthcoming project, Utopia, releasing on Friday, July 28th.

Sharing to his 50.6 million followers on Instagram, La Flame unveiled two out of the five album covers of the project, featuring photos from some of his favorite photographers. 

One of them sees Travis Scott smiling upside down with a blacked-out face, while the other seems to be a mash-up of three different images. On the bottom, four shirtless black males stand behind a white woman with blond hair. 

While the photo itself must have some deeper meaning that Travis connected to, The Weeknd didn’t hesitate to show his sense of humor. In the comment section, The Weekend wrote, “#BLACKEDTOPIA,” referring to the porn site Blacked. The comment has since gone viral, accumulating over 31K likes and counting. 

The Weeknd and Travis share both a personal and professional relationship. Travis’ lead single for the project, “K-POP,” features The Weeknd and Bad Bunny.

Travis revealed the first cover art earlier this week on Tuesday and said he would unveil the project’s “main cover” on Thursday, July 27th.

In addition, Travis posted the trailer for his accompanying movie, Circus Maximus, which debuts in theaters on Thursday as well. Travis not only directed the film but wrote and stars in it as well.
