Although considering this isn’t his only mansion, one has to wonder how much time Ross will actually be spending there. Either way, it is an impressive place.

Travis Scott Points To Utopia, Texas In New Billboard

Travis Scott has a lot of fans waiting around with bated breath for his new album, Utopia. Overall, this could very well be the biggest album of the entire year. However, no one knows when the album is actually going to be released. Some thought we would get the album this Friday. Although, with Travis set to perform in Egypt on July 28th, people are circling next week on their calendars. Needless to say, there is still a lot of mystery surrounding this album, and no one knows what to make of it.

If you have been paying attention to the rollout, you know that there have been quite a few billboards. The first two billboards contained a clock that was pointed to 7:21. Moreover, the second billboard had a lock combination to a briefcase with the same exact numbers. Now, however, a third billboard has surfaced, and it contains an interesting set of coordinates. If you were type them into google, you would be pointed towards a small town in Texas called Utopia.

Of course, this is a very appropriate town to promote the album. Texas is Travis Scott’s home state. Although he is from Houston, you cannot discount his ties to the entire state. Whether or not Travis has plans to visit Utopia, remains to be seen. However, if one thing is for certain, it is that he wants to continue teasing the album. At this point, all fans can do is really just guess. Hopefully, we get some concrete details sooner rather than later.

For now, there isn’t a single song that has been confirmed for the project. We don’t even know who the features are going to be. The only thing we can sort of guess is that “Lost Forever” with Westside Gunn will be on the album. Travis Scott has performed the song at various shows as of late. Moreover, Westside Gunn was in Egypt this past week, which led to more speculation. Once again, nothing is confirmed and the fans are beginning to get restless. Raekwon’s Wedding Attended By Music Royalty

Wu-Tang Clan member Raekwon tied the knot with his partner Jasmine on June 30 in Dallas. Scram Jones served as DJ for the event, while Faith Evans was also present to personally serenade the happy couple. Of course, several of Raekwon’s Clan brothers, namely RZA and Ghostface Killah, were present for the ceremony. “Celebration of love ❤ Congratulations @raekwon and Jasmine,” RZA’s wife wrote on Instagram.

However, the Clan weren’t the only music legends in attendance for the event. The crowd was a veritable who’s who of rap royalty. Nas, N.O.R.E, and Fat Joe were just some of the industry legends spotted in the crowd. Many of them posted black-and-white photos from the event on Instagram, showcasing the sheer amount of talent that had assembled. Many happy returns to Raekwon and Jasmine.

Raekwon’s Wedding Not The Only Headline For WTC Legend

However, his wedding is not the only reason that Raekwon is making headlines. Recently, Steve-O, of Jackass fame, released footage of the Wu-Tang Clan member putting him in his place. The footage was taken from the memorial event for Ol’ Dirty Bastard, who passed away in November 2004. Steve-O, who had been a big fan of the Clan OG, had earned an invite to the event after striking up a friendship with Method Man and RZA. However, his eulogy, in which he told a story about a raunchy performance ODB gave before his death., didn’t go over well.

Hundreds Of Post Malone’s Raising Cane’s Collector’s Cups Stolen From Restaurant

According to reports, hundreds of Post Malone’s new Raising Cane’s collector’s cups have been stolen. The limited edition cups were launched last week. Sadly, over $6,000 worth of them were recently taken from a restaurant located in The Galleria Mall in Houston. A Houston PD report says that 249 of the cups were stolen on June 22, resulting in a $6,150 loss. The report further reveals that the thieves also stole dish soap and griddle cleaning pads from the location.

“We’re happy to bring a little bit of that love to every Cane’s across the country,” Post Malone wrote on Twitter upon the launch. He continued, “starting today, June 21st, with the launch of 4 limited edition Collector’s Cups.” The rapper added, “Cups are limited so get yours fast,” alongside a smiley emoji. There are four cup designs, each featuring QR codes that allow fans an opportunity to win merch, trips, and tickets.

Raising Cane’s Launched Post Malone’s Cups Last Week

Earlier this year, Post Malone custom-designed a Raising Cane’s near his home in Utah. The bright pink Midvale location showcases imagery of the rapper’s tattoos on the outside of the building, and several of his belongings are displayed on the restaurant’s walls. The special location was opened in April. “Collaborating with Todd [Graves] and being part of the Raising Cane’s brand with our collab restaurant and signature cups has been a fun experience,” Post Malone revealed in a press release. He continued, “I can’t wait for fans across the country to ‘Post Up’ their combos, see these cups in person, and build out their signature Posty cup collection.”

Earlier this week, the rapper shared some new details about his upcoming album, Austin. He revealed that the LP will feature 17 tracks, providing fans with a sneak-peak at one of them alongside the full tracklist and cover art. Post Malone additionally confirmed that Austin will be released on July 28, 2023. Last month, he also announced his “If Y’all Weren’t Here, I’d Be Crying” tour. The summer 2023 tour features 24 dates across the U.S.

Mike Dimes Gets Personal On New Album “TEXAS BOY”

San Antonio rapper Mike Dimes has become the most recent artist to turn TikTok fame into a major label deal. His 2021 song “My Story” has blown up on TikTok and racked up over a billion views. After releasing his album DLOG in 2021 and IN DIMES WE TRUST in 2022, now he’s back with a major label debut. TEXAS BOY arrives by Epic Records and SinceThe80s and has some high-profile names in the tracklist. Dro Kenji, BigXthaplug, and Maxo Kream were already included in the album’s singles. Among the deep cuts are Denzel Curry, Joey Bada$$, Wiz Khalifa, and Hoodlum.

A few months ago he dropped the album’s lead single “Heavy Metal.” It arrived pretty quickly after his output in 2022 and was the first of three singles that ultimately preceded the album. Just last month, Mike Dimes also made an appearance on the Metro Marris single “Payroll.” Dimes went on tour last year with Denzel Curry and Curry seemingly paid him back with an appearance on this record.

Mike Dimes Major Label Breakthrough

Speaking of collaborations, last year Mike Dimes popped up in a pretty surprising place. His track with JELEEL!, “CLUBHOUSE!” dropped in June of last year and saw both artists switching up their sound a bit. The appearances on his new album aren’t the only cosigns he’s received from major rappers. Last year J.I.D joined him for a remix of his song “HOME.”

Mike Dimes’ collaborators have been pretty busy too. Denzel Curry and J.I.D both already dropped deluxe editions of their new albums from last year. Joey Bada$$ released a new single last month called “Fallin’.” On the track, the rapper tries out his R&B side with a moodier instrumental and his own sung vocals. Brittney Griner Makes First WNBA Return To Home State Of Texas

In an emotional homecoming, WNBA star Brittney Griner played in her home state of Texas for the first time since being released from Russian detention. Griner was born in Houston and stayed in-state for college, winning a National Championship with Baylor in 2012. However, she has played her entire WNBA career in Phoenix after the Mercury drafted her first overall in 2013.

Griner was in Texas to face the Dallas Wings. The Mercury were hoping to find their second win of the season, entering the matchup 1-3. Meanwhile, the Wings were 3-3 and looking to push their win percentage above .500. Griner was the joint-leading scorer with 24 points. However, a late rally from the Wings soured the evening as the Mercury fell 84-79. The teams will face off again on Friday.

Griner Feels The Love, College Jersey Retirement Teased

Aside from the game against the Wings, Griner also returned to her alma mater to meet the current crop of Baylor players. Furthermore, Baylor head coach Nicki Collen also raised the idea of retiring Griner’s jersey in the near future. “That’s the goal,” Collen said. “We’re opening a new arena. There’s no doubt that I want to see her jersey in the rafters.” Baylor’s new basketball arena, Foster Pavillion, is scheduled to open in January 2024. Collen, who coached Griner in the WNBA, was very keen to re-establish a positive relationship after taking over at Baylor in 2021. Furthermore, this represents a definitive shift in Griner’s relationship with Baylor. Griner’s college coach, Kim Mulkey, openly avoided discussing Griner’s detention in Russia. Furthermore, Griner has previously said that Mulkey demanded she hide her sexuality while Griner was at Baylor.

Griner also spoke about the reception she received in Texas. When her name was announced, the fans at College Park Center went absolutely wild for the veteran center. “It was good seeing everybody and just being back in Texas. I miss being here. When I came out and they announced my name, the love meant a lot to me,” Griner said of the crowd. As mentioned, the Mercury will remain in Texas for a few more days, facing off again on Friday. They will then travel to Indiana for a game on Sunday.

Francisco Oropresa, Suspect In Texas Mass Shooting, Arrested

Mass shooting suspect Francisco Oropresa has been arrested. Several days ago, in Cleveland, Texas, he took the lives of five people in an “execution-style” shooting. Cleveland is a small town of approximately 8,000 people situated to the northeast of Houston. Wilson Garcia, whose wife and son were among the victims, reported that a group of fifteen individuals had gathered at a residence on Friday. The group included friends and godparents who were assisting with preparations for a church event.

Garcia and two other individuals had gone to Oropesa’s yard about 10 to 20 minutes before the attack. They requested that he refrain from shooting so close to their residence due to Garcia’s sleeping baby. They suggested that Oropesa should shoot on the opposite side of his property instead. However, the suspect refused and Garcia indicated that he would contact the police. “We walked inside and my wife was talking to the police, and we called five times because he was being more threatening,” Garcia said.

Oropresa Spared No One

Oropresa was next seen leaving his property with his gun. “I told my wife to get inside because he cocked his gun and he might come threaten us. So my wife said, ‘You go inside, I don’t think he will fire at me because I’m a woman, I’ll stay here at the door.’” Sadly, that was not the case. As soon as the gunman charged into the home, he shot and killed Garcia’s wife. Next, he killed three other adults and one of Garcia’s children. Luckily, one woman helped the man escape through a window, telling him that someone had to survive to take care of his remaining children. Unfortunately, the Good Samaritan that saved Garcia did not make it herself.

Oropresa went on the run after his murderous rampage, resulting in a days-long manhunt. Earlier today, he was found and taken into custody. The man was being hidden by his longtime partner, who had given him new clothes and fed him. She was also taken into custody. Oropresa is now being charged with five counts of murder. Though he is in custody, the case highlights the ineffectiveness of local law enforcement. Allegedly, between 10 and 20 minutes passed between the first 911 call and any action by police. Five Dead In Texas “Execution Style” Shooting, Suspect Still At Large

Five people, including an eight-year-old boy, have reportedly been killed at a house in Cleveland, Texas. According to early police reports, the five victims, who are believed to be related, were shot “execution-style” inside their home. Additionally, the suspect, who is currently at-large, is believed to live in a neighboring house.

Police were called to the residence, about 55 miles north of Houston, at 11:31pm on April 28. The call was initially in response to a harassment complaint about an individual discharging a firearm on a neighboring property. The caller, who is believed to be one of the victims, had reportedly asked the individual to stop, as there was a baby asleep in the house. The suspect had reportedly said he could do what he wanted in his own yard. Additionally, a video doorbell camera later caught the suspect entering the house with a rifle.

Suspect In Texas Killings Armed And At-Large

However, police found a horrific scene when they arrived at the property. Inside the house, they found five victims who had been shot above the neck in what police are calling “execution style”. The youngest victim was just eight years old. Beneath the bodies of two deceased women located in an upstairs bedroom, police found three minors who had survived the killing. Furthermore, The victims were members of a 10-person household of Honduran heritage. All victims were killed using a .223 AR-15-style weapon. Additionally, more weapons were found inside the victim’s house.

Police believe that the suspect, who was reported to be intoxicated at the time of the 911 call, entered the house soon after being confronted about the discharging of his firearm. The suspect, who has not been named, has been described as a Hispanic male and a Mexican national. Additionally, other neighbors have reported that firearm discharge was a common part of life in the town. Police have warned that the suspect is armed and may no longer be in the Cleveland area. Furthermore, he is approximately 5-foot-8 and last seen wearing blue jeans with a black shirt and work boots and is described as having short black hair. Kanye West Consulted Elon Musk On Plans To Build “Texas Utopia”: Report

Over the years, Kanye West expressed his desire to build his own utopian community, which appears to be the same thing that Elon Musk plans on doing in Texas. Per WSJ, Musk acquired 3,500 acres of land just outside of Austin. The SpaceX founder plans on turning the plot of land into “a sort of Texas utopia along the Colorado River, where his employees could live and work” near the facilities for SpaceX and Boring Co. This would reportedly allow Musk to develop his own regulations on the land which would help speed up his plans.

Apparently, Elon Musk consulted Kanye West about building the Texas town. According to WSJ, Ye, and Elon Musk held a meeting in 2022 to discuss these plans. Details surrounding the meeting remain unclear but Ye’s expressed his fondness of Musk’s innovations and vice versa. During a Q&A at SXSW a few years back, Musk named West as a person that inspires him. With that said, it’s no surprise that he would’ve wanted Ye’s thoughts on his Texas town.

At this point, it’s unclear when the meeting took place. Kanye West and Elon Musk haven’t necessarily seen eye-to-eye in recent times due to the former’s anti-Semitic comments. Musk suspended Ye from Twitter for posting a swastika on his page in the midst of his hateful 2022 tirade. Musk also said that he “personally wanted to punch” Ye over his spree of anti-Jewish comments that ultimately led to Adidas and GAP parting ways with the artist.
