Kanye West Files New Trademarks That Expands Yeezus Brand

Kanye West is a man with endless ambitions. The hit producer, who morphed into a Grammy Award-winning artist, is already the dominating music and fashion industry, but Ye wants more. It’s reported that Kanye West filed 17 new trademarks all surrounding the Yeezus brand. Mr. West filed trademarks for amusement parks, NFTs, toys, campaign buttons, clothing, cosmetics, and household items.

The news of Kanye filing trademarks for most of these items comes to no surprise seeing that he’s steady taking on new business endeavors. What fans should be surprised about is the trade mark for NFTs. Kanye didn’t hold back when he expressed how he felt about the metaverse. Back in February, Mr. West wrote on Instagram, “Do not ask me to do a f*****g NFT. Ask me later,” Seemingly later is now because according to his new trademarks, Kanye has a future dealing with NFTs.

Along with the new trademarks surrounding the Yeezus brand, Kanye is building a strong roster for his DONDA sports agency. Already he’s partnered with Antonio Brown, signed NFL champion Aaron Donald, and Boston Celtics shooting guard Jaylen Brown just announced his arrival to the squad. “I’m team Ye,” said Brown.

Who knows what Kanye plans on doing with these new ideas, but we’re sure the world wants to know.

With a revised visual identity, Instagram has given its colors, typeface, logo, and other brand aspects new life and meaning. The new system is built to support ongoing evolution so that we can provide our community with more immersive and inclusive experiences.

The gradient has been rebuilt in bright hues to make it feel more lighted and alive, as well as to signify moments of discovery. Instagram Sans, our new typeface, was created with our legacy in mind and contains numerous global scripts. Content-driven, the new layout and design system celebrates innovation, simplicity, and self-expression.

To make the gradient feel more lighted and alive, a unique 3D modeling approach was used. The entire color system is built around the Instagram gradient, which is made up of our brand colors. The gradient in Instagram’s marketing, logo, and even in-app, as seen in Create mode, stickers, and Instagram Story rings, communicates moments of discovery through lighting. We’re pleased to bring the vitality of the new gradient to the Instagram experience.

NBA 2K x SoundCloud Announce Winning Artists For NBA2K22 Soundtrack

The global music search is over for SoundCloud and NBA 2K’s “2K Beats: The Search” to discover the next generation of emerging artists. Today, SoundCloud and NBA 2K revealed the first 10 winning artists including 4KPHIL, J Nolan, Jamari, KC Carter, Lulu Be., Neek, OttoMattic, Samad Savage, Shiwan, and Third Coast Chris whose tracks will be featured in the NBA 2K22 Season 7 soundtrack heard by players around the world. Fans can discover the new tracks in-game starting May 20th, and today in the playlist on SoundCloud here. 

The winning artists were handpicked by SoundCloud and NBA 2K from more than 15,000 submissions and feature some of the hottest new original tracks from emerging artists who are gaining traction from fans on SoundCloud alongside top artists on the soundtrack such as Aitch, Freddie Gibbs, Megan Thee Stallion, Metro Boomin, Saweetie, Skepta, Smino, and many more. Worldstar Hip Hop Releases New Sports Podcast ‘Kiss & The Myst’

Sports podcasts have become increasingly popular in recent months as more sports fans turn to them to get the latest information. This is partly because, as compared to reading through newsletters or watching the news, podcasts provide an entertaining and engaging alternative to visual media, cutting on the amount of time spent on screen time. The current trend has also led to more podcasts opening up, with Worldstar Hip Hop being the latest. Worldstar Hip Hop has recently announced the opening of their new sports podcast Kiss & The Myst.

According to Worldstar Hip Hop, the main reason they started the podcast was to create a community of sports fans where everyone will feel at home. There are various types of sports, and sometimes it can be really hard to find all the latest information in one place. With Kiss & The Myst podcast, which will air on Worldstar Hip Hop, their focus is shining light on all types of sports and discussing what’s trending in the sports world.

The show is hosted by sports analyst and handicapper Mystic Zach Hirsch alongside celebrated rapper and sports enthusiast Jadakiss. Having been in the industry for years, their diversity and experience make them a perfect team.

Mystic Zach is one of the most trusted voices in sports, with a following of more than 1 million on Instagram. He has a decade of professional and proven experience under his belt working with some of the top sporting brands, including BetMGM and BetOnline.ag. Jadakiss is a renowned rapper and avid sports fan. Mystic Zach and Jada say they have always had a deep passion for sports and music, and through their new podcast, their mission is to keep their listeners informed on all the happenings in the sports world. The two will be highlighting a number of sports, including football, basketball, and even horse racing, among others.

To give the audience a much broader view, Kiss & The Myst will also be having guest hosts. Jada and Zach say they have already spoken with their first guest and are finalizing all the necessary arrangements. The first guests to make an appearance on their podcast show will be rapper Dave East and NBA player Chris Brickley.

Snoop Dogg had the internet in a stir over the weekend when he appeared to throw his hat in the ring to buy Twitter. It came after Elon Musk tweeted his plan to buy the platform is “temporarily on hold” even though he’s “still committed” to following through with the deal.

Snoop Dogg tweeted saying he might have to buy Twitter now.

Elon Musk tweeted fire emojis in response.

In a thread, the legendary rapper said his first line of business would be to get free internet connections on airplanes. He also said he’s fed up with how the app verifies bots who bug him in his direct messages. Snoop also said he’d immediately give everyone a blue checkmark.

Snoop then started the hashtag #WhenSnoopBuysTwitter and Twitter reacted with their wildest out of the box suggestions for the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper.

Elon Musk Reveals He Would Reverse Trump’s Twitter Ban

One of the fears of Elon Musk purchasing Twitter was the reinstatement of Donald Trump to the platform. Musk has recently revealed that is one of his plans.

CNN Business notes Musk was on hand at the Financial Times Future of the Car conference and publicly acknowledged his bid to buy the bird for the first time.

“I do think it was not correct to ban Donald Trump, I think that was a mistake,” Musk said. “I would reverse the perma-ban. … But my opinion, and Jack Dorsey, I want to be clear, shares this opinion, is that we should not have perma-bans.”

Musk added, “Banning Trump from Twitter didn’t end Trump’s voice, it will amplify it among the right and this is why it’s morally wrong and flat out stupid.”

Trump was suspended after the January 6 Capitol Riot as he used the platform to incite violence. Trump has not confirmed that he would return to the forum if allowed.

Musk is closing on a deal to purchase Twitter for $44 billion.

Elon Musk Reaches Agreement to Purchase Twitter for $44 Billion

Elon Musk is going to be the new owner of Twitter. According to MSNBC, Musk will follow up the $44 billion purchase by taking the company private. When the transaction finishes, stockholders will receive $54.20 in cash for each share.

“Free speech is the bedrock of a functioning democracy, and Twitter is the digital town square where matters vital to the future of humanity are debated,” Musk said on Twitter. “I also want to make Twitter better than ever by enhancing the product with new features, making the algorithms open source to increase trust, defeating the spam bots, and authenticating all humans. Twitter has tremendous potential — I look forward to working with the company and the community of users to unlock it.”

“The Twitter Board conducted a thoughtful and comprehensive process to assess Elon’s proposal with a deliberate focus on value, certainty, and financing,” said Twitter board chair Bret Taylor. “The proposed transaction will deliver a substantial cash premium, and we believe it is the best path forward for Twitter’s stockholders.”

Before the final purchase, Musk received opposition in the form of a “poison pill,” an effort called the shareholder rights plan, which would stop Musk from being able to purchase more than 15 percent of the shares. That measure would be cast aside once Musk displayed $46.5 billion in funding collected by banks led by Morgan Stanley.
