‘The View’s Joy Behar Feels ‘Sorry’ For The Men Hating On Taylor Swift: ‘They Need Some Help’

In an odd twist for The View, co-host Joy Behar took a moment to express her sympathy for the predominantly right-wing horde of men who have been frothing at the mouth over Taylor Swift attending NFL games and, presumably, the upcoming Super Bowl.

Swift has been dating Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce, and with his team now headed to the big game, conservatives have latched onto a wild conspiracy theory that the CIA orchestrated the Chiefs’ AFC victory so Swift can endorse Biden during the massive sporting event. It’s all pretty nuts, and Behar feels “sorry” for the men who are launching these hare-brained attacks.

“I do! No, I’m not making a joke,” Behar said. “I feel for them because things have not gone their way. There are fewer jobs for them, a lot of these guys … college enrollment for men [is] down. They were up 60%, now it’s 41%. Women are moving ahead like crazy.”

To be clear, Behar qualified her remarks by saying these men should try working harder and seek out therapy. Via Decider:

“Look, as a woman comedian, I felt like it was harder for me,” but she added, “I didn’t say, ‘Oh, I resent that the men can do it better or that they get a better audience.’ I tried to work harder.”

Behar then suggested “these guys” try out therapy.

“Go get a shrink!” she exclaimed. “I mean, they don’t consider it masculine to be in therapy. It is not about masculine, feminine. It’s about your brain. They need some help, and that’s why I feel sorry for them.”

Despite being sympathetic to their plight, Behar made a point to highlight the severity of the situation.

“These kind of guys can be dangerous,” she said. “They have guns, a lot of them. I feel sorry — at the same time, I’m worried.”

Drake Spends His 500th Week On The Artist 100 Chart

Almost a decade ago Billboard introduced a new chart meant to track an artist’s success across all charts and metrics in a given week. That was called the Artist 100 and it can be loosely interpreted as the most popular artist in a given week. Unsurprisingly, the most commercially dominant artist of the last decade has achieved things on the chart nobody else can manage. Drake’s newest achievement is yet another sign of not just the volume of his commercial dominance, but the longevity.

Drake has officially spent a full 500 weeks on the Artist 100 chart, becoming the first artist to do so. He also achieved the feat as quickly as possible as this week’s Artist 100 is the 500th edition of the chart. Drizzy is the only artist who has appeared on every single Artist 100 throughout its entire existence. Only Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, and Bruno Mars are within 25 weeks of Drake’s record-setting tenure. He turns up at number 4 on this week’s chart, meaning he likely isn’t fading from the Artist 100 any time soon. Check out the full scope of his achievement below.

Drake’s Record Extending Artist 100 Tenure

Many think that Drake is included among those that Megan Thee Stallion took shots at on “HISS.” That would make sense as he dropped an offensive bar about her Tory Lanez shooting incident on last year’s Her Loss. Despite the buzz of a dizz, Drizzy has been silent on the matter on social media.

He’s had plenty of public opportunities to comment as he’s popped up all over the place recently. He and Adonis were courtside for a Knicks/Heat game over the weekend. Shortly afterward he was out partying in New York with Cash Cobain and Fivio Foreign. That was just a few days after he was hanging out with Lil Yachty and hitting some different New York City clubs. What do you think of Drake appearing on every single Artist 100 chart for almost a full decade? Let us know in the comment section below.

Will Taylor Swift Perform With Usher At The 2024 Super Bowl Halftime Show?

Finally, the 2024 Super Bowl match-up has been set, as the San Francisco 49ers will take on Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs, on February 11 in Las Vegas.

Taylor Swift hasn’t confirmed if she’ll be in attendance; She has an Eras Tour concert in Tokyo the day before, but it’s actually possible to make it back to the States for the game. So, Swifties might be wondering:

Will Taylor Swift Perform With Usher At The 2024 Super Bowl Halftime Show?

It appears that she won’t.

TMZ, citing “sources with direct knowledge,” reports, “Not only is Taylor not going to pick up a microphone to croon a tune … but we’re hearing there’s no chance T-Swift will go anywhere near the stage, let alone step onto it. In other words, our sources say there are zero plans to have her participate in the Super Bowl whatsoever — outside of her just being there as a fan — and Usher is going to have the spotlight all to himself in terms of live entertainment that day.”

Given that Usher has been planning his show for months, and that Swift probably wasn’t sure she’d be Super Bowl-bound until just a few days ago, it makes that she’s not involved. While Kelce playing in the Super Bowl and Swift performing at the halftime show would have been one of the biggest couple flexes ever, it looks like that’s just not going to happen this year.

David Letterman Is Extremely Pro-Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce, And Wants Weird Haters To ‘Shut Up’

Republicans have long had trouble courting the youth vote, but lately they’ve decided to torch their chances for good. Today’s rightwing have declared Taylor Swift, arguably the most popular pop star on the planet right now, Enemy Number One. They hate that she’s a Biden supporter, and they especially hate that her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, is Super Bowl-bound. Some have even hatched tinfoil hat conspiracy theories about her. But at least Taylor and Travis have one supporter who really matters: Daivd Letterman.

“We live in a world now where all we hear is nonsense and ugliness,” the former late night king said in a post on Instagram, per Variety. “Now here’s Taylor Swift, who is a glowing bright light of goodness in the world and she starts dating Kelsey Grammer.”

Producer Barbara Gaines quickly corrected him, though Letterman stood his ground and kept saying the name of the Trump-voting Frasier star.

Letterman then described how these two very different worlds — the world of football and the world of pop star — have felt like strange bedfellows, sometimes even attack each other, wishing Swift and Kelce weren’t an item. Well, Letterman’s had enough of all that.

“This is such a lovely thing. Shut up!” he charged. “It’s good for the footballers. It’s good for Taylor Swift. And it’s something positive and happy for the world, in a world that generally, typically just sucks gas.”

Letterman concluded, “God bless, Taylor Swift and Kelsey Grammer.”

Hear, hear. And you know what, God bless Kelsey Grammer, too, no matter who he votes for, because Frasier Crane is god, even on his so-so revival.

‘It Is So Scary!’: Fox News Appears To Be Extremely Terrified Of Taylor Swift Getting Swifties To Vote For Biden

taylor swift

Have you heard the one about how Taylor Swift and the Deep State are teaming up to rig the Super Bowl so Joe Biden wins re-election? It’s a real conspiracy theory, touted by arguably the most annoying former GOP presidential candidate. But one thing could actually happen: Swift could inspire legions of Swifties to vote Democrat in November. That might not be enough to trigger a landslide, but it still chills one Fox News contributor to their core.

On Monday Fox News host Martha MacCallum brought on Outkick host Charly Arnolt, who last year got in a tizzy over Disney casting a non-white actress to play Snow White — you know, despite her name. This time Arnolt was, as many on the right weirdly are right now, up in arms over Time’s 2023 Person of the Year, especially since her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, is going to the Super Bowl.

Noting grimly that Swift endorsed Biden in 2020, Arnolt said she’s so worried about her boyfriend going to the Super Bowl that she was rooting for the Baltimore Ravens to beat the Chiefs, “just because we have had enough of Taylor Swift for now.”

Alas, the Ravens lost and Swift’s boyfriend is going to the Super Bowl. But all is not lost. Arnolt noted that there’s an online poll “begging people to become 9ers fans for the next two weeks, just so it doesn’t raise Travis Kelcie aka Mr. Phizer’s star power along with, of course, Taylor Swift.”

Nevermind that it’s probably not possible for Swift to become any more famous than she is already. But that’s what so freezes Arnolt’s blood.

“It is so scary! There’s a recent poll: 1/5th of Taylor Swift fans said they would back whatever candidate she endorsed,” Arnolt warned viewers. She allowed that a good chunk of her fanbase are “15-year-old girls who can’t vote anyways” and that “a lot of the others are liberal women who would support the DNC no matter what.

“But,” Arnolt prophesized, “there’s a lot of other people who need to be careful, because she doesn’t do what she says. For example, the other day, yesterday, she flew private from New York City to Baltimore. Yet she constantly talks about climate change.”

Arnolt asked anyone watching her to “please don’t believe everything Taylor Swift says. We’re all begging you.”

And so continues the right’s bizarre war on someone whose fanbase is not only gargantuan but militant against anyone who dares besmirch her, be they Golden Globes hosts or, possibly, Fox News regulars. Besides, what better way to lock down the youth vote than to the most popular celebrity under 35.

Who Will Win And Who Should Win At The 2024 Grammy Awards

Who Should Win Grammys 2024
Getty Image/Merle Cooper

The 2024 Grammy Awards are just around the corner, and much like previous iterations of the annual ceremony, there likely won’t be a shortage of show-stopping performances. But above all, fans are hoping to see if their favorite artists’ hard work will pay off with a win, and the chance to take home their own golden gramophone trophies as they secure their spot in music history.

When it comes to the Grammys in particular, half of the fun is trying to understand the voting criteria, which remains elusive from year to year. While music journalists are just as in the dark as average music fans about who gets to win a Grammy, nerding out over this stuff is what we do best. (Though we’re aware that we may end up dropping some potentially controversial viewpoints, thus testing the pressure cooker that is the internet in the process.)

In anticipation of the big night, this music journalist is taking a look at 10 stacked nomination pools, and will distinguish which artists probably will win, and who probably should win that coveted Grammy gold. (But please, go easy on me if you don’t agree!)

Best Pop Dance Recording

“Baby Don’t Hurt Me,” David Guetta, Anne-Marie and Coi Leray
“Miracle,” Calvin Harris featuring Ellie Goulding
“Padam Padam,” Kylie Minogue
“One in a Million,” Bebe Rexha & David Guetta
“Rush,” Troye Sivan

Will win: “Padam Padam”
Should Win: “Padam Padam”

“Padam Padam” is Kylie Minogue’s first single in two years, and with its infectious dance-pop sound, energetic synths, and sweet, sticky chorus, it was almost guaranteed to be a hit. To create a song that penetrates the pop landscape, social media, and the LGBTQ+ community this deep into her decades-long career proves Minogue’s affinity for hit-making. A win in this inaugural category would be justified and incredibly appropriate.

Best African Music Performance

“Amapiano,” Asake and Olamide
“City Boys,” Burna Boy
“Unavailable,” Davido featuring Musa Keys
“Rush,” Ayra Starr
“Water,” Tyla

Will Win: “Water”
Should Win: “Unavailable”

A win by any of these artists would be a win for the culture, Africa, and Afrobeats, which continues to be overlooked by the Recording Academy in all-genre categories despite its influence. This is the first time this award will be presented, though few can deny the impact this style has made to the sonic landscape of modern-day music as a whole.

“Unavailable” in particular became the first song by a Nigerian act to hit 100 million streams on Spotify in 2023. This achievement is merely a footnote for Davido when observing the larger picture of his success and musical contributions, achieved through his artistic and cultural integrity. A Davido win would be incredibly overdue, but Afrobeats’ oft-omitted importance places all nominated acts in a deserving light.

Best Rap Song

“Attention,” Doja Cat
“Barbie World,” Nicki Minaj & Ice Spice ft. Aqua
“Just Wanna Rock,” Lil Uzi Vert
“Rich Flex,” Drake & 21 Savage
“Scientists & Engineers,” Killer Mike and André 3000 feat. Future and Eryn Allen Kane

Will win: “Barbie World”
Should win: “Scientists & Engineers”

Women have (rightfully) been running the hip-hop game for the better part of the last few years. A win by either the Queen of Rap and the new pop-rap princess—or even rap’s resident chameleon Doja Cat—would be a welcome, tide-shifting moment for the macho genre.

However, in “Scientists & Engineers,” one of rap’s most respected voices Killer Mike shines through conscientious bars, while Future’s undeniable flow showcases why he’s one of the biggest names in contemporary music. Elsewhere in this link-up for the ages, fellow ‘Dungeon Family’ member André 3000 provides what very well could be his final rap verse on wax. “Scientists & Engineers” carries attributes that continue to stand the test of time in hip-hop: authentic rhymes, rhythm, and collaboration.

Best R&B Song

“ICU,” Coco Jones
“Angel,” Halle
“Back to Love,” Robert Glasper ft. SiR & Alex Isley
“Snooze,” SZA
“On My Mama,” Victoria Monét

Will win: “Snooze”
Should win: “ICU”

As one of the highlights on an album full of highlights, the smoothness and soothing vibes found in SZA’s “Snooze” would cap off an incredible year for the Jersey girl.

Though in her breakout single “ICU,” Coco Jones’ lower register and unbelievably velvety vocals display that the hallmarks of R&B live on in our newest stars. A win in this category for Jones would solidify her place among one of the brightest lights in the genre today, and would bring a happy ending the former Disney darling’s Cinderella story.

Alternative Music Album

The Car, Arctic Monkeys
The Record, Boygenius
Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, Lana Del Rey
Cracker Island, Gorillaz
I Inside the Old Year Dying, PJ Harvey

Who will win: The Record
Who should win: The Record

The debut studio LP from the supergroup (comprised of Julien Baker, Lucy Dacus, and Phoebe Bridgers) is crafted in a way that showcases each member’s individual strengths, but also proves the power of collaboration and teamwork. Their long-awaited link-up remains modern while still evoking the sounds and styles that inspire them, from rock to folk. Christened the best album of 2023 in UPROXX’s Music Critics Poll, this is virtually a no-brainer.

Record of the Year (awarded to the song itself)

“Worship,” Jon Batiste
“Not Strong Enough,” Boygenius
“Flowers,” Miley Cyrus
“What Was I Made For?” from “Barbie,” Billie Eilish
“On My Mama,” Victoria Monét
“Vampire,” Olivia Rodrigo
“Anti-Hero,” Taylor Swift
“Kill Bill,” SZA

Who will win: “Kill Bill”
Who should win: “Flowers”

“Kill Bill” spins the idea of breakup anthems on its head through thematics and sonics that slay. However, what gives “Flowers” the edge is the commercial and personal triumphs on top of its thematics. The funky, rockin’ self-love anthem feels like a cathartic return to form for the musical shapeshifter, whose personal life has undergone as many changes as her sonic identity.

Unlike her previous pop efforts like “Malibu” and “Prisoner,” which felt forced in some respects, “Flowers” found the superstar and the audience meeting at the right place and time. The song brings a sophisticated, confident maturity, and for the first time in a long time, it truly felt like Miley was just being Miley.

Song of the Year (awarded to the songwriter/songwriters)

“A&W” — Jack Antonoff, Lana Del Rey & Sam Dew, songwriters (Lana Del Rey)
“Anti-Hero” — Jack Antonoff & Taylor Swift, songwriters (Taylor Swift)
“Butterfly” — Jon Batiste & Dan Wilson, songwriters (Jon Batiste)
“Dance the Night” (From “Barbie the Album”) — Caroline Ailin, Dua Lipa, Mark Ronson & Andrew Wyatt, songwriters (Dua Lipa)
“Flowers” — Miley Cyrus, Gregory Aldae Hein & Michael Pollack, songwriters (Miley Cyrus)
“Kill Bill” — Rob Bisel, Carter Lang & Solána Rowe, songwriters (SZA)
“Vampire” — Daniel Nigro & Olivia Rodrigo, songwriters (Oliva Rodrigo)
“What Was I Made For?” [From the Motion Picture “Barbie”] — Billie Eilish O’Connell & Finneas O’Connell, songwriters (Billie Eilish)

Who will win: “Anti-Hero”
Who should win: “What Was I Made For?”

“Anti-Hero” marks the seventh time Taylor Swift has been nominated in this category, now a Grammy record. The single serves as the pulse of her LP, has been virtually inescapable for over a year, and shows the depth of her pen and personal glossary. A T.S. win in this category would amplify the Grammy’s love of “making moments” at the ceremony.

However, the perfect, tear-jerking placement of “What Was I Made For?” in Barbie solidifies the power of Billie Eilish and brother Finneas’ lyrical simplicity. The (future Oscar-winning) song showcases what we love about Billie’s more subdued tracks: the palpable optimism underneath surface-level melancholia — which is befitting of the film’s underlying theme — as well as the general feelings of modern-day womanhood.

Best New Artist

Gracie Abrams
Fred Again..
Ice Spice
Jelly Roll
Coco Jones
Noah Kahan
Victoria Monét

Who will win: Ice Spice
Who should win: Victoria Monét

High-profile friendships, a masterful social media pull, and even a Chia Pet made in her likeness — it would seem as though Ice Spice would be the clear-cut favorite to win. High honors here would crown the Bronx artist as the third woman rapper in history to win Best New Artist, which could be a controversial bestowment amongst rap purists who deem Ice to be “too pop.”

But when was the last time we had a true blue triple threat in our midst? Victoria Monét has been under our noses the entire time. Her incredible stage presence, deeply quotable lyrics, and overall star power make her the full package, and a win of this magnitude would be worth the wait. Noah Kahan would also be a great choice, as his musicianship has steadily earned a following amongst both fans and artists alike.

Album of the Year

World Music Radio, Jon Batiste
The Record, Boygenius
Endless Summer Vacation, Miley Cyrus
Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, Lana Del Rey
The Age of Pleasure, Janelle Monáe
Guts, Olivia Rodrigo
Midnights, Taylor Swift
SOS, SZA

Who will win: Midnights
Who should: SOS

As mentioned earlier, the Grammys love “making moments.” Taylor Swift is far and away the biggest name in contemporary music, and a win in this category will provide the moment. If honored with the biggest award of the night, Taylor could surpass Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, and Frank Sinatra for the most Album of the Year wins by any artist in history. However, some could argue that — though thematically sound — Midnights is not a career high. Although a win would be the cherry on top of her banner year, star power and fanfare don’t always warrant an automatic win.

SOS on the other hand, is a true career high for SZA, solidifying her status as thee reigning R&B superstar. It was her first No. 1 album, it nabbed the biggest streaming figures for an R&B album in U.S. history, and it’s the longest-running No. 1 album by a woman in this decade. A much-deserved win in this category would also create a “moment”: SZA would be the first Black woman since Lauryn Hill in 1999 to win Album of the Year, and only the fourth ever after Natalie Cole, Whitney Houston, and Hill. The personal triumphs, coupled with the album’s successes, will feel like a win for all.

Drake Was The Second Best Selling Artist Of 2023 In The US

Drake’s commercial success isn’t even surprising to most people anymore. He’s racked up nearly unrivaled success across streaming platforms and various Billboard charts. For more than a decade now he’s been one of the biggest stars in music. So it’s no surprise that in 2023 he was one of the most-listened to artists in almost every country in the world. That included the US where he dropped a number one album on the Billboard 200 with For All The Dogs. That album included numerous smash hit singles like “Slime You Out,” “First Person Shooter,” “Rich Baby Daddy,” and “IDGAF.”

When all of the numbers were tallied up Drake turned up as the second best-selling artist in the US in 2023. He totaled an astounding 10 million total units across streaming, radio, and album purchases. Unsurprisingly, he’s second to the other biggest star in music Taylor Swift. Elsewhere on the list is Doja Cat who turned up as the best-selling female rapper of 2023. Check out the reactions various fans had to Drizzy’s 2023 sales totals below.

Drake Tops 10 Million Total Album Sales

In recent weeks, Drake has been dealing with a strange beef with Yasiin Bey, former known as Mos Def. During a podcast appearance Bey was asked about Drizzy’s music. He responded claiming that the music he makes is closer to pop than rap. It started quite a firestorm online as fans debated the merit of pop rap. Some other artists like NLE Choppa and Common came to his defense in the wake of the comments.

Eventually Drake himself responded. First he shared an interview snippet of Method Man talking about how hip-hop is for the culture. Then he followed up with a more direct attack calling Bey a “crackhead.” Fan backlash against Bey got even more intense after a video of him performing at Paris Fashion Week made the rounds online. What do you think of Drake being the second best selling artist of 2023? Let us know in the comment section below.

Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce’s Relationship Timeline

Taylor Swift is one of the biggest celebrities in the world right now, with over 200 million records sold worldwide and dozens of platinum-selling albums. The pop singer is no stranger to celebrity romances, having famously dated Harry Styles, John Mayer, Joe Jonas, and several others. Swifties went wild when Taylor confirmed her romance with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce in October 2023. Though the relationship is still fairly new, the pair have been a media sensation in recent months, leading to a notable uptick in NFL and pop music crossovers. Here’s a comprehensive timeline of the relationship so far.

July 8 2023: The Pair Nearly Meet At Swift’s Eras Tour

Hyper-focused Taylor Swift fans quickly noted Travis Kelce’s appearance at the “Blank Space” singer’s July performance of her Eras Tour. The Chiefs player caught the show from a private viewing box and later confessed to media outlets that he tried to meet with the singer after the show but ultimately failed to do so. During the show, Kelce exchanged friendship bracelets with fellow fans, embracing a known tradition among Taylor Swift’s biggest enthusiasts.

September 2023: Rumors Begin To Swirl That The Pair Are Dating

While we don’t know the exact date that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce met, a September 16 ESPN report playfully jested that the pair may have been seeing each other romantically. Travis’s brother, Jason Kelce, who plays center for the Philadelphia Eagles, jokingly confirmed the rumors as “100 percent true,” igniting a frenzy of fans who believed the relationship was confirmed. Jason quickly backtracked his comments, elucidating, “I don’t really know a lot about Travis’s love life. I try to keep his business kind of his business, stay out of that world.”

September 24 2023: Swift Attends A Kansas City Chiefs Game

Travis Kelce explained during a September 21 interview on The Pat McAfee Show that he had invited Taylor Swift to come to an NFL game, seemingly hinting that the appearance would serve as a romantic gesture. Just three days later, Swift fulfilled this request, donning Kansas City gear and cheering when Kelce scored a touchdown. Adding fuel to the romance rumors, Taylor Swift viewed the NFL game from Kelce’s suite, beside his mother, Donna, and even left the venue together. The game took place at Arrowhead Stadium, the same location where Kelce had watched the singer perform live just months earlier.

October 2023: Taylor Swift Attends Multiple Games As The NFL Leans Into The Rumors

Taylor’s NFL experience wasn’t a one-off event, as the “Bad Blood” vocalist continued to attend Kansas City games throughout October. Swift was at the October 1 match against the New York Jets, the October 12 match against the Denver Broncos, and the October 22 match against the Los Angeles Chargers. During this time, the NFL leaned full-swing into the budding relationship, including a host of media coverage and social media posts referencing the pair.

Travis Kelce explained during an episode of his podcast, New Heights With Jason and Travis Kelce, that the league was leaning into the shared audience of sports and music fans. However, he and Jason agreed they were overdoing it with the couple’s constant promotion. During this time, Travis explained that he was receiving more paparazzi attention than ever before, including photographers skulking outside his home, looking to snap pictures of him as he returned from practice.

October 2023: The Pair Seemingly Confirms The Relationship At Saturday Night Live

Both Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce made surprise appearances at the long-running comedy show, which included a sketch about the constant media coverage their relationship has inspired. In a life-imitating-art scenario, reporters and paparazzi voraciously followed the pair as they attended the SNL afterparty. The couple confirmed their relationship to the world by publicly kissing, cuddling, and holding hands.

Following Kansas City’s October 22 game against the Chargers, pictures emerged of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce together behind the scenes at Arrowhead Stadium. Shared by wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr.’s girlfriend Chariah Gordon, the photos feature a shot capturing Swift giving Kelce a peck on the cheek.

November 10 2023: The Couple Go On An International Date Night

Harsh weather forced the postponement of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour stop at the River Plate Stadium in Buenos Aires on November 10. This presented an opportunity for her to spend the evening with Travis Kelce instead. They visited the upscale restaurant Elena at the Four Seasons Hotel, where photographs captured them holding hands as they left. The following day, Travis attended Taylor’s Eras performance, accompanied by her father in the VIP section. Swift even referenced her romance with the tight end directly by adjusting the lyrics to her hit song “Karma,” singing, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me.”

December 6 2023: Swift Publicly Speaks On Her Romance With Kelce For The First Time

Taylor Swift gave the public a brief glimpse into her love life during an interview with Time magazine after being named Time’s 2023 Person of the Year. In her interview, Swift explained the origins of their romance, which actually started shortly after Kelce attended her Eras Tour performance on July 8. The singer stated, “We started hanging out right after that. So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other… I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.”

December 2023-January 2024: The Couple Continues To Support One Another At Public Events

Throughout December and January, Taylor Swift has continually appeared in the stands at Kansas City Chiefs games nationwide. Likewise, the pair have been spotted making outings at many events, including an after-party following the Chiefs’ Christmas Day game against the Las Vegas Raiders. The pair have been seen blending families throughout the romance, with multiple sightings of Swift’s parents intermingling with Kelce’s loved ones.

By all accounts, the NFL has toned down the promotional material referencing the couple, though miscellaneous posts of this variety still pop up on occasion. For now, everything seems to be smooth sailing for the biggest power couple of 2023.

Ariana Grande, An Expert At Scoring No. 1 Singles, Tops The Hot 100 Once Again With ‘Yes, And?’

Ariana Grande Yes And video
YouTube

Every week, Billboard unveils the top 10 songs on the latest Hot 100 chart. The most recent rankings, for the chart dated January 27, are out now, so let’s run down who had this week’s biggest hits.

10. 21 Savage, Travis Scott, and Metro Boomin — “Née-nah”

21 Savage’s new album American Dream made a splash on the Hot 100 in its opening week, as the rapper has two songs in this week’s top 10: This Travis Scott and Metro Boomin collab, and another song coming up on this list.

9. SZA — “Snooze”

While SZA’s No.-2-peaking “Snooze” appears to be on its way out of the top 10, it remains at No. 1 on the Hot R&B Songs chart for a 25th week.

8. Teddy Swims — “Lose Control”

Last week was a major career milestone for Teddy Swims, as “Lose Control” became his first top-10 single. It debuted at No. 8 and hangs onto that same spot this week.

7. Doja Cat — “Paint The Town Red”

A former No. 1 for three total weeks, “Paint The Town Red” had a slight slide this week, down from No. 5 to No. 7.

6. Zach Bryan — “I Remember Everything” Feat. Kacey Musgraves

Another former No. 1 (but for just one week), Bryan and Musgraves’ collab is hanging around the top 10 still, at No. 6.

5. 21 Savage — “Redrum”

And here’s the other new Savage song in the top 10. Notably, “Redrum” is Savage’s first top-10 single that features no other artist beside himself.

4. Tate McRae — “Greedy”

The current all-time high for McRae sits at No. 3, a spot it held last week, so it had a slight demotion in the latest frame.

3. Taylor Swift — “Cruel Summer”

The staying power of Swift’s 2019 single “Cruel Summer” has been phenomenal, as it’s been in the top 3 of that chart for what feels like forever at this point.

2. Jack Harlow — “Lovin On Me”

“Lovin On Me” previously spent three weeks at No. 1, but this week, it made way for a new champion.

1. Ariana Grande — “Yes, And?”

Grande has the first song released in 2024 to hit No. 1 on the Hot 100. “Yes, And?” is Grande’s eighth chart-topper of her career, and if you want to get super granular with the trivia, it’s the first No. 1 song with the word “yes” in its title.
