For those who don’t know, gossip blogger Tasha K owes Cardi B a sizeable chunk of change, $4 million to be exact. The femcee sued her for defamation back in 2019, accusing her of spearheading a “malicious campaign” against her online. Ultimately, Cardi B won, but Tasha K hasn’t been able to pay up.
She filed for bankruptcy in May, and only a few months later, it looked like the tension between them had come to a halt. Tasha K reportedly reached out to the “Bongos” performer after she shared a concerning post on social media, which seemingly caused Cardi to reexamine their beef. It doesn’t appear to have lasted, however, based on new legal documents obtained by Radar Online.

According to the docs, Cardi’s team is trying to get Patricia Haynes to comply with subpoenas against her, which they accuse her of trying to avoid. They suspect that she has information about offshore accounts allegedly held by Tasha K and her husband. They accuse Tasha K of failing to disclose these in her aforementioned bankruptcy filing, which is a federal offense.
These are similar accusations to those recently made by Kevin Hart. In December of last year, the comedian alleged that Tasha K tried to extort him out of $250K. He later added an amendment to his original lawsuit, accusing her of dodging “financial liabilities.” He alleges that she did so with “shell entities” owned by her husband. R. Kelly is combatting a judgment in a lawsuit by women who stated he victimized them. According to TMZ, six women were awarded a collective $10.5 million for the attempted shutdown of the Surviving R. Kelly docuseries screening with his former manager, Donnell Russell.
In response, Kelly and his legal team stated they would have combatted the case if they were unaware. Kelly states he was too busy with the criminal cases and has difficulty keeping up with everything from his North Carolina prison cell.
Adding to the complexities of his situation, R. Kelly stated a transition in his legal representation may have also let lawsuits slip through the cracks. Kelly states he also relies on legal reps when he has them because “I cannot read or understand words beyond that of a grade schooler.”
R. Kelly also states Donnell operated independently and “for his own reasons.”
In November, R. Kelly initiated a lawsuit against the Federal Bureau of Prisons, claiming the agency leaked his private information to Tasha K.
The suit was filed in Chicago gedeal court, stating an agent at the Bureau of Prisons accessed the singer’s prison records, which also had phone calls with his lovers and lawyers, and sold them to Tasha K. Tasha K then used them online to her followers.
“The defendant United States of America breached its duty of care to the plaintiff when it allowed countless BOP officers to access plaintiff’s confidential information without any legal basis to do so,” Kelly’s lawyer Jennifer Bonjean filed, according to Billboard.
Tasha K is also listed in the suit, stating she used her following to “harass the plaintiff” and caused “chaos in the plaintiff’s personal life.”
The suit also states that R. Kelly is fearful of speaking with his team due to the possibility it could be “released to the general public for mass exploitation.”
In August, R. Kelly wrapped up his most recent restitution bill. Following his high-profile criminal cases, Kelly still owed $506,950.26 to his victims. His next royalty check will cover the bill.
According to TMZ, Universal Music Group’s payout to R. Kelly was 567,444.19, more than enough to cover his remaining bill. Before the remainder goes elsewhere, UMG will direct a check to his restitution.

Allegedly, her team later reached out to Hart threatening to release the interview unless he coughed up $250K.
“You have already engaged in criminal conduct and tortious acts that would entitle Mr. Hart to monetary damages against you should he elect to commence civil litigation regarding this matter,” the lawsuit reads. “To the extent that you do not cease and desist now, your liability for such monetary damages will increase, as will your exposure to criminal penalties.” Now, Hart has submitted an amendment to the original suit, adding Yelen Entertainment LLC as a defendant.

They also believe that it’s “responsible for content [Tasha] publishes.” Hart claims that Yelen Entertainment is a “successor entity to Kebe Studios,” which Tasha K owned prior to her legal battle with Cardi B. According to the comedian, the company was allegedly formed in an attempt to “evade financial liabilities.”

Throughout 2023, lawsuits were being filed across the entertainment world for various reasons. However, as the year came to a close, popular YouTuber Tasha K was served a lawsuit of her own by none other than actor and comedian Kevin Hart. The famed star of Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle sued Tasha K and his former assistant for defamation and extortion following one of the latest episodes of Unwine With Tasha K.
Of course, this isn’t the first time an A-List celebrity has taken Tasha K to court. In March 2023, a judge upheld Cardi B’s $4M defamation judgment against Tasha K. Being hit with another lawsuit just months after is certainly not a good look for the Internet personality. Kevin Hart sued on December 27, 2023, and this is still a developing story. Nevertheless, here’s what we know about the lawsuit against Tasha K so far.
The root of the matter is an interview Kevin Hart’s former assistant recently had with Tasha K. The video was published on Tasha K’s YouTube and Instagram accounts on December 22, 2023. Miesha Shakes, who worked for Hart from 2017 to 2020, appeared on Unwine with Tasha K, and accused her former boss of several things, from impregnating a flight steward to regularly cheating on his wife. Speaking to Tasha K, Shakes said, “It is the time for Hollywood to hear this story. Especially because a lot of people are locked in non-disclosures and they are not able to talk and protect themselves, but you have to protect the person you’re working for. Where’s your protection?”
Chiefly, Shakes alleged that Hart had an extramarital affair, which she claimed she informed his wife Eniko about. Also, she claimed that Hart had a gambling problem. When Tasha K asked if Hart “gambled y’all money away and had to pay y’all half cheques,” Shakes affirmed it, saying “Yes, well, exactly.” This expectedly sent social media into a frenzy.

Soon after the interview went live, Hart decided to take legal action against Tasha K and Shakes. The actor filed his complaint at the Los Angeles Superior Court. Subsequently, the document was obtained by PEOPLE, revealing information about the case.
According to the document, in November, an unnamed person “affiliated with Kebe” reached out to a representative of Hart’s. This person allegedly informed Hart’s representative that an interview that “would be damaging to Hart’s reputation” had been recorded. Afterward, according to the document, “the individual stated that Kebe would publish the interview unless Hart paid a ransom of $250,000.”
Hart allegedly contacted the police after, issuing a cease and desist order to Tasha K. It highlighted the NDA between Hart and Shakes, citing that posting the interview would be a breach of contract on Shakes’ part. However, Tasha K went ahead to post the video, and Hart hit her with a lawsuit soon after. Now the YouTuber is clearly in some hot water, as onlookers wait to see how things will play out.
According to the file obtained, Kevin Hart is suing both Shakes and Tasha K for civil extortion, and invasion of privacy. Additionally, he has charged Shakes with breach of contract and defamation. Moreover, he is suing Tasha K for intentional interference with contractual relations. The infamous YouTuber has a reputation for airing allegations against celebrities that sometimes turn out to be false. Hart’s lawsuit even states that Tasha K “has an established history of posting defamatory and otherwise improper content regarding celebrities.” Overall, it’s not looking good for either of the two defendants, but the case could go either way. Cardi is additionally seeking information on the blogger’s Georgia home and other assets at this time.

Miesha alleged that Hart was a serial adulterer and went as far as to pull up the Instagram of an Instagram model she claimed to have told Hart’s wife that Hart was cheating with. Last month, Keke Palmer filed for a restraining order from the father of her child, Darius Jackson. The performer accused him of physical and emotional abuse, also filing for sole custody of their one-year-old, Leodis. In a turn of events, the fitness trainer made similar allegations against Palmer last week, accusing her of domestic violence.
Reportedly, he filed a motion on December 15 for Palmer’s restraining order against him to be dropped. Brother Bilaal, the former assistant and friend of Will Smith, has doubled down on his explosive claims involving mega-stars Will Smith and Duane Martin. In an exclusive interview with gossip blogger Tasha K, Brother Bilaal opened up about the alleged scandal that has taken the entertainment industry by storm.
