Ozzy Osbourne Gave T-Pain The Highest Praise After Seeing Him Perform A Cover Of His Classic

Every couple of years, folks on the internet collectively remember that T-Pain can actually sing, and every time, they go absolutely bananas. Usually, this is prompted by a video of the Tallahassee native performing that goes viral, reminding everyone that the man is still around and still very, very talented.

The latest example comes by way of a concert recording of his latest album, On Top Of The Covers, which he performed at The Sun Rose in Los Angeles last march. As usual, people are freaking out, but one of the artists he covers, Ozzy Osbourne, had a question:

“Why didn’t you guys call me?” he wrote on Twitter, after calling a video of the performance “the best cover of ‘War Pigs’ ever.”

Pain, who naturally saw the compliment, expressed his amazement and gratitude at receiving such high praise. “First thing I said was ‘wow,’” he wrote alongside a screenshot of the rock legend’s tweet. “This is an honor and the greatest form of validation. Thank you brother.”

Meanwhile, as one group of internet users is having their minds blown by the discovery that T-Pain can sing without his signature Autotune (something for which he once received such harsh criticism from Usher, he almost quit music entirely), another group of fans is getting their kicks being super smug about it. The life cycle of the internet in a nutshell. For funsies, you can check out the full show below.

How To Watch T-Pain’s ‘On Top Of The Covers’ Live Show

Last month, T-Pain released a live album of his On Top Of The Covers record, which coincided with his set at Los Angeles’ The Sun Rose, according to Complex.

The album includes stripped-down performances of Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin,’” Sam Cooke’s “A Change Is Gonna Come,” Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me,” Luther Vandross’ “Never Too Much,” Chris Stapleton’s “Tennessee Whiskey,” Frank Sinatra’s “That’s Life,” Black Sabbath’s “War Pigs,” and many more.

For those who are looking to watch T-Pain’s show from The Sun Rose, it is currently available on YouTube.

“I’m so excited for the world to hear and see this,” T-Pain said. “Since it’s the gift-giving time of year, I decided to release the full performance. Let’s keep the good times rolling in to 2024!”

“For all the people who wanted an album of me singing live, this is my holiday gift to you,” he added on Instagram. “For the Tiny Desk & Masked Singer fans & everyone in between, you ain’t heard nothing yet.”

In case anyone might have missed it, T-Pain previously competed on The Masked Singer. Given he had been known for Aut-Tune usage in his music, his real (and extremely talented) vocals shocked both the judges and viewers. Now, he’s continuing to show them off.

T-Pain And Snoop Dogg Are All Sorts Of Rowdy On “That’s How We Ballin”

T-Pain and Snoop Dogg have two of the most respected careers in music. Especially in the hip-hop and R&B lanes, respectively. Both are sure-fire legends for the decades they were originally a part of. They are back now to bless us with a new single.

Over the years, T-Pain has been seen more as a singer than a rapper. Just look at all of the R&B club bangers we have gotten. However, he is more than respectable when it comes to his spitting abilities. He does so with tons of charisma and energy on “That’s How We Ballin.”

Snoop equals his contagiousness creating a fun listening experience from start to finish. This is the first time the two have worked exclusively on a song together since 2011. It is criminal that we have not gotten a new cut since “Boom.” Of course, both of them are known for their memorable performances on “All I Do Is Win.” Hopefully, T-Pain and Snoop will continue to build upon this.

What are your initial thoughts on this brand-new song from T-Pain and Snoop Dogg, “That’s How We Ballin?” Is this the duo’s best song they have been on together? Tryin’ to be better than me, you gon’ need 6 T’s

Just come back in the back and givе me that quick squeeze

T-Pain’s Alleged Mistress Tells Tasha K About Rapper Infecting Her & Sleeping With Married Busta Rhymes

In the time before social media ran the world, it was much easier for people to keep their extramarital affairs hidden. Now, all it takes is one double tap, screenshot, or podcast interview for allegations to start flowing in. We’ve seen rappers, athletes, politicians, and countless others exposed for their NSFW antics in recent decades. On controversial media personality Tasha K’s Unwine show, the alleged mistress of “Kiss Kiss” hitmaker T-Pain and his friend Busta Rhymes had plenty to say about her time spent secretly romancing the recording artists.

“I have to ask, ‘cuz you said, ‘I had never dealt with a married man before.’ Did you sleep with Busta Rhymes while he was married?” Tasha asked her guest, Passion. Rather than answer, the woman grinned and looked away from the camera. “So we got T-Pain, what about Ray J?” the host further pressed, though the rapper’s lover denied venturing into the world of R&B with Kim Kardashian’s ex. “Busta Rhymes, so you slept with him knowing that he had a wife?” Tasha assumed though the alleged mistress says she wasn’t aware of her man’s marriage at the time.

T-Pain’s Rumoured Mistress Spills Tea to Tasha K

“I swear to God Tasha, and I dealt with him for a minute too,” Passion doubled down when her interviewer accused her of lying. Before the clip above comes to an end, the Unwine host also asked her guest if she got pregnant due to sexual encounters with any of the men in her life, though we didn’t exactly get a clear answer regarding that.

On the topic of Busta Rhymes’ sex life, it was only a few weeks ago when the “Look At Me Now” MC went viral for revealing what lead him to lose an impressive amount of weight. As it turns out, losing his breath in the bedroom was reason enough for Busta to make some major life changes. Read more about that at the link below, and check back later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.
