Before making it big, from 2016 to 2018, she had a small cleaning business. With an entrepreneurial spirit and a hustle mentality, Walker juggled her singing passion alongside her full-time cleaning service called Summer So Clean. Her enterprise, complete with an Instagram account @summersoclean, offered services for commercial and residential properties, including laundry, closet organization, bathroom scrubbing, and refrigerator cleaning, according to the page’s Instagram bio.

Even though she now sells out shows and is on stage all the time, she still has fond memories of the scents of cleaning products and the solitude of her past career. It’s incredible to think that in less than two years, she transitioned from cleaning to singing, and although she’s found fame and fortune in music, her cleaning days are a memory she holds dear.

Summer Walker wears her heart on her sleeve, sharing her ongoing battle with social anxiety with a level of honesty that sets her apart. Notably, this aspect of her life rarely surfaces in her music, making her transparency all the more special. This authenticity defies the industry’s conventional path to stardom. From tour cancellations to moments of uncertainty about the trajectory of her music career and an intentional avoidance of high-profile interviews, she charts her course.

She even took to Instagram after one of her nerve-racking performances and said she is “too real for this industry” and “y’all can have the music & ima just head out.” Even her live performances bear witness to her unique journey. In 2019, she confronted social anxiety by canceling 20 tour dates, a challenging decision that reflected her commitment to prioritizing her mental well-being.

Jayda Cheaves Trolls Summer Walker For Reconciling With Lil Meech As Exes Appear Infatuated

When Summer Walker announced her breakup with Lil Meech a few months ago, she interestingly name-dropped Jayda Cheaves, the mother of one of Lil Baby’s children. The shady comment left the socialite feeling unimpressed at the time, though she was able to get her revenge when Walker decided to spin the block herself after being cheated on. “Tried my best to be Jayda Wayda but I couldn’t,” the mother of three wrote on her Instagram Story at the time. “It was cute though, I wish him the best. Can’t do that cheatin stuff.”

After a few months apart from her Florida-born beau, it appears Walker had a change of heart. She and Meech spent their Halloweekend together, and neither of them have been shy about showing their rekindled flame off on social media. Some fans are here for the pair putting their differences behind them in favour of a fresh start, but others have been waiting to see in Cheaves would chime in. Thankfully, she dropped by @theshaderoom’s comments to show some support, though we’re willing to bet it was sarcastic in nature.

Are Summer Walker & Lil Meech Back Together? Social Media Sleuths Say Yes

Summer Walker’s fans were rooting for her and Lil Meech’s relationship to go the distance when they first got together earlier this year. Unfortunately, much like in her past dating experiences, the mother of three fell victim to alleged cheating, causing her to walk away from the BMF actor. He’s been busy looking for a replacement lover in time for cuffing season (apparently to little luck) while Walker has been hinting at using her heartbreak to inspire her next few trips to the studio. Elsewhere, the Still Over It singer has been raising eyebrows with her social media posts about figures like Meech and Chrisean Rock.

The R&B starlet is facing backlash for appearing to poke fun at the Baltimore native’s Walmart baby carrier incident. Only a few days into motherhood at the time, Rock failed to use her holder to properly support Junior’s delicate neck while out at the grocery store, subsequently going viral after a stranger posted a video of the troubling moment. At the time, Walker publicly supported Rock, so her diss was confusing for the 23-year-old. However, the Atlanta-born artist didn’t seem too apologetic when Chrisean called her out, instead going on to poke fun at Meech in another post on her profile.

Lil Meech Falls Victim to Summer Walker’s Trolling

As HipHopDX reports, Walker posted a photo of Meech in a black and pink outfit on her Story earlier this week. Simply showing off her ex with no context would be strange, but the black-haired beauty added her signature humorous touch to the situation by adding vocals of her singing “Danger (Been So Long)” by Mystikal in the background. Now that blogs are reporting that the pair might have stepped out for a dinner together, we think the Southern star’s post might’ve been a hint at reconciliation with her ex.

Bakar And Summer Walker Go Through ‘Hell N Back’ On Their New Song

Bakar continues to deliver timeless classics. Tonight (September 22), the British singer-songwriter has dropped his sophomore album, Halo. But day-one Bakar fans may notice that the album’s tracklist boasts a familiar fan-favorite.

On the album is a remix of “Hell N Back,” a track that was originally featured on his 2019 EP, Will You Be My Yellow?. On this special updated version is Summer Walker, who, in her special way, revives the song, carrying its way through the treacherous love Bakar first depicted in the Yellow cut.

Bakar’s first verse remains the same as that of the 2019 original, but Walker’s verse continues the story, as the two sail on toward love.

“Life been lifin’ lately, so I save you if you save me / I was up and out, I had enough, then I found you / I was no doubt, stressed out without you / All we got is us, when nobody does, I got you,” she sings on her verse.

While the original song is over four years old, its jazzy production and fresh new remix give the song an evergreen feel.

You can listen to the “Hell N Back” remix above.

Halo is out now via Epic Records. Find more information here.

Lil Meech Declares Himself A Mama’s Boy

Lil Meech is a self-proclaimed mama’s boy and he’s not afraid to admit it. The 27-year old BMF actor shared a picture on social media of him and his mother smiling together. Meech is all smiles with his mom, and a caption that reads “I’m a real mommy’s boy.” While the sweet moment was well received by most, social media users couldn’t help but chime in on thoughts about how he was raised. “Not surprising, those are usually the ones who lack self control and respect for women bc they don’t know accountability,” one user wrote. “Welp that sums up the reason why he acts like that,” another shared. “That’s a real red flag but ok,” someone else chimed in.

It’s no shocker that Lil Meech has a close bond with his mother, a relationship many believe shapes his character. These presumptions are definitely linked to his recent cheating allegations. Some social media users argue that a man’s relationship with his mother reflects his treatment of future partners. The connection between Lil Meech and his mother continues to fuel discussions, particularly in the context of recent cheating accusations.

Lil Meech has been the topic of conversation in past months for his love affair with R&B princess Summer Walker. The two broke up towards the end of summer due to cheating allegations on Meech’s end. One viral moment occurred when fans spotted Lil Meech as a video emerged of him walking into another woman’s apartment, caught on a video door camera. Meech then posted his defense, claiming he was helping his cousin buy groceries. “Damn, I can’t help my cousin bring the bags in the house,” he asked in response. “We went to the grocery store, man.”

Since the grocery store incident, fans and celebs alike have trolled the BMF star heavily and made several jokes out of the situation. Walker also took to social media to share her side of the story: “It’s just crazy how a n***a will really try to pursue the f**k out of you for 2 years, make you meet they whole family, wanna be around you and your kids all day, & pay bills just to embarrass you to the world lmao,” she wrote on Tuesday (Aug. 1). “I don’t understand men but ima give it to God.”

Summer Walker Talks About Dissing Someone’s Mama In The Studio Again After Lil Meech Split

Fans of Summer Walker have unfortunately watched the Atlanta native struggle through her romantic endeavours throughout the years. She and London On Da Track produced a beautiful daughter, Bubbles together, but ultimately couldn’t work through their differences to build a healthy relationship. After healing through that trauma, Walker met Larry, another artist, who’s the father of her two twins who were born in late 2022. Despite their best efforts, those two also couldn’t make it last, leaving the songbird to enjoy her life as a single woman – until Lil Meech came along.

Walker and the BMF actor were boo’d up for most of the summer months, but according to her, she ultimately grew tired of his cheating ways. The 27-year-old has fallen victim to similar behaviour in the past, and while she initially thought Meech was different from other men, she was left disappointed. Thankfully, Walker is a professional at capitalizing on her pain at this point and has already been joking about heading to the studio to make a record based on her recent breakup online.

Summer Walker Suggests She’s Making Music About Her Recent Breakup

On Friday (September 8) afternoon, the “Playing Games” hitmaker posted a video that channels the energy she plans to bring into the studio for her next session. “Me heading to the studio to talk about somebody mama. Jk lmao,” Summer wrote in the caption. As you may recall, she previously dissed her first baby daddy’s mother on “4th Baby Mama,” and it seems Meech’s family matriarch might find herself receiving similar treatment.

All jokes aside, Summer Walker hasn’t officially confirmed when we’ll be hearing her next LP, though we do know she’s on the tracklist for Diddy’s The Love Album: Off the Grid, which is due out later this month. Her last full-length project, Still Over It, landed back in late 2021 and remains in rotation for many to this day.
