Key Glock Drops Off “Murder & Millions”

Memphis rapper Key Glock is buzzing right now. It seems that another new project in the Glockoma series is close to dropping. We already got Glockoma 2 earlier this year in February. Glock has not confirmed an official release date just yet, but it has to be fairly soon.

He began teasing fans a few days ago on his Instagram. Glock posted a picture of the album cover with a caption. It read, “G L O C K T O B E R 🎃 Stay tuned… 👀🫣🧡🔥🔥🔥” With the name, color scheme, and the emojis used, one can assume we will have the next project on or by Halloween.

Key got the fans even more ready with the release of the lead single just last week. It was a sequel to “No Hook,” simply titled “No Hook 2.” Now, we have another track, “Murders & Millions.” He raps over a sinister beat with a soulful sample flip. The kick drums and 808s are extremely crisp, just as you would expect from Mr. Glock.

Wale Speaks On How His Life Has Been Going On “Max Julien”

“My silence has been golden….see you on Friday. Folarin back.” That was the vague but telling message from Wale to his Instagram followers on Wednesday. Well, it is now Friday, and the Washington D.C. rapper delivered on his promise by dropping a brand-new single. “Max Julien” is his first solo effort since his 2022 record, More About Nothing. What is also exciting for Wale is that we recently found out that he decided to join a different record label.

According to multiple reports and sources, including TMZ Hip-Hop, he inked a deal with Def Jam Records. Furthermore, he also apparently signed the contract a few months prior and wanted to keep it hidden for a bit. It was a great bombshell to drop last night because it built more anticipation for this single. “Max Julien” is a life update track that reveals how the rapper has been feeling lately.

Most of the lyrics contain thoughts and feelings of loneliness, isolation, and feeling like the best rapper. Wale is holding no punches on this single.

What are your initial thoughts on this brand new single from Wale, “Max Julien?” Is this a great track to return with for Wale? Do you think a new album is going to be on the way fairly soon? D. Savage Is Feeling Like He Is The Man On “Lost & Found”

It has been quite a while since we at HNHH have had the chance to cover new D. Savage music. However, that changes today, as the Queens, New York MC has recently come out with a fresh single, “Lost & Found.” One of the lanes that Savage operates well in is the melodic side. It has become arguably the most popular subgenre of hip-hop since the 2010s.

While Savage is not the most standout voice in that space, he gets the job done time and time again. “Lost & Found” fits that bill and on this one, he is feeling more confident than ever before. At one point, he raps about knowing who actually messes with him and not letting them take advantage of his status. “All of this money, I do what I want / And I know niggas ain’t really gon’ ride / But I knew all of this shit from the jump.”

Listen To “Lost & Found” From D. Savage

This track from Savage is one of a handful he has put out in 2023. It began back in January with “Klosure.” This and others like “All Kap” and “Kome On,” all landed on his 2023 tape, Mafia Musik. There is no word if “Lost & Found” will wind up on a project coming down the pipe.

What are your initial thoughts on this brand-new single from D. Savage, “Lost & Found?” Is this the rapper’s best deep and most emotional track he has ever put out? Out of all four singles Savage has released, is this the best one of 2023? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. Rubi Rose Returns With First Single Of The Year With “Hood B****” Aesthetic”

Rubi Rose has been more well-known for her good looks, her modeling, and her fashion line. Just ask rapper Luh Tyler, he could not even name one Rubi song! But, it is mainly because she has remained in the backdrop working on those projects rather than dropping new songs. In fact, it has been over a year since her last single, “Wifey.” On top of all of that, three years have passed since her debut album, For The Streets. However, the Kentucky-born multi-talent is finally back with a new song for the fans who have been waiting for it.

“Hood B**** Aesthetic” is all about flexing the hard work that has led Rubi to become the media starlet she is today. It features production credits from some big names, Murda Beatz and FNZ. Might as well go all out since it has been a hot minute. Rubi sounds braggadocious over this luxuriously smooth trap beat.

Kodak Black Speaks On His Important Relationships On “Hope You Know”

Pompano Beach, Florida is where Kodak Black calls home. Being raised by a single immigrant Haitian mother, he clearly was influenced by her hard work. Bringing up a child all by yourself is no easy task and the rapper wanted to say his thanks to his superwoman. Kodak does this by mentioning her throughout his brand-new single, “Hope You Know.”

ATL Jacob Shows He His A Dual Threat With “MF Problem”

Atlanta, Georgia might be the most important city for hip-hop. Especially, with the current state that the genre is in, it is hard to imagine any other area that is more vital to its success. One of the reasons for that is of course due to the tremendous amount of talented rappers that herald from there. On top of that, the city boasts some of the hottest producers as well. The biggest fish in the pond is undoubtedly Metro Boomin right now. However, there could be another name that could someday be remembered as the best trap producer. That is none other than ATL Jacob.

While he does not have the most recognition right now from casual listeners, Jacob is gaining a ton of respect from hip-hop’s finest. One of his most frequent collaborators as of late has been Future. That is a huge deal considering that many call him the G.O.A.T of trap music. Jacon had tons of production credits on his last tape I NEVER LIKED YOU. Some of the best cuts from that album, “HOLY GHOST” and “KEEP IT BURNIN” with Kanye West, are provided by ATL.

Kevin Abstract Makes His Solo Return With His Latest Track “Blanket”

Kevin Abstract and BROCKHAMPTON called it quits nearly a year ago with their album, The Family. It was an unfortunate and sad end to the group’s tenure together. One of the most entertaining collections of talent in the hip-hop community and BROCKHAMPTON will always be in our hearts. Their legacy is truly special Abstract has not been active since 2022 either. Actually, the last release under his stage name was in 2021.

It was a single with Ryan Beatty titled “SIERRA NIGHTS.” After that, was a single in 2022 called “DEAR MISS HOLLOWAY” with easy life. Finally, him and Baird dropped a two-pack “Easy v2.” Those songs were titled “Easy v2” and “Easy On Them Turns,” which was a Baird-only cut. The track is called “Blanket” and it is just under two minutes. It really is not much of a song, though. The lyrics we have shared below and parts of the chorus, which then go into an incredibly short “verse.” Blanket is also accompanied by an interesting video of Kevin and some imaginary-like creatures as a meteor is approaching Earth. An album is on the way as well, but no word of the name or release date just yet.

Monaleo Drops Savage Track “Crying On Your Birthday”

Texas has produced some tremendous female rap talents. One of the biggest ones is, of course, Megan Thee Stallion. Her signature voice has helped separate herself from the rest of the competitive pack. Another MC who is a similar lane to Megan is Monaleo. Her musical career began just a few years ago back in 2020. Her single, “First Draft Pick,” put her on some people’s radars.

However, the song that got more ears on her than ever before was her hit, “Beating Down Yo Block.” The bouncy production and her brash flows were a selling point for most listeners. The song is up to over 35.5 million streams on Spotify. If you follow rap closely, you might know that she is with fellow MC Stunna 4 Vegas. They both had a child right before the release of her debut project Where The Flowers Don’t Die.

Since that all went down, she has remained fairly dormant with new music. But, just a short time ago, Monaleo dropped a ratchet and bold new cut, “Crying On Your Birthday.” Some of her bars are very tongue and cheek but with the seriousness in her tone, it makes for a comical listen. This is a follow-up to her last release, “I <3 My N***a.”

What are your initial thoughts on this brand new single, “Crying On Your Birthday,” from Monaleo? Is this one of the oddest ideas for a song you have seen? Which song is your favorite of hers?
