Quando Rondo Drops Single “Cash” Amid Federal Drug Charges

Georgia rapper Quando Rondo is dealing with a lot of outside noise right now. Unfortunately, he could be serving up to two decades worth of prison time. On December 10, the 24-year-old rapper was originally arrested without incident. He was simply a passenger in a vehicle and was the only one in handcuffs by the FBI on federal drug charges.

A couple of days later, we learned more about the situation. Rondo was involved in conspiracy to possess and distribute various drugs. Those substances included marijuana, cocaine, fentanyl, and methamphetamine. The accusations date back to 2021 as well. So, it is safe to say Rondo is not in the best state now, but he did manage to get a track out today to sort of address all of it.

NLE Choppa’s 2023 has been an eventful one, to say the least. The Memphis rapper is sort of a goofy character in the current hip-hop scene. Honestly, though, it is always a treat to see what the 21-year-old artist is going to do next. He had a lot of people talking after hearing his rendition of Nelly’s classic hit with “IT’S GETTING HOT.”

Buffalo New Yorker and Griselda star Conway the Machine is putting his stamp on 2023. The prolific coke rapper might be having his most jam-packed year in his lengthy career. In 12 months the man will have put out/been a part of six projects. Meaning, that every two months, on average, Conway has had a new album out. It is crazy to think about, but you have to appreciate the amount of material he has been able to get to his fans.

Some will say it is too much, but at least for the most part, it is quality music. In the next couple of weeks, Conway will be teaming up with producer Wun Two for a collaborative LP. South Carolina rapper and singer, Dro Kenji, has gotten off to a fast start in his still-budding career. After getting his start on streaming back in 2019, the genre-bending artist has dropped nine projects in those four years. It was just about three months ago when the multi-talented creator pushed out WISH YOU WERE HERE. It was a 17-track album with contributions from only two features.

Those were Mike Dimes and Powers Pleasant. They both were on the same song as well, named “PAMPER PAMPER.” We covered Dro’s tape when it came out and we mentioned the sounds he likes to explore. To keep it brief he is an amalgamation of artists like XXXTENTACION and Juice WRLD. Like those two, Dro likes to experiment with his sound.
