DJ Akademiks Hints At Drake’s Next Move

DJ Akademiks says that Drake is working on a new music video, after dropping 100 gigabytes of content for fans earlier this month. That release featured behind-the-scenes videos and three new tracks. They included: “It’s Up,” featuring Young Thug and 21 Savage, “Blue Green Red,” and “Housekeeping Knows,” featuring Latto. Further details on the music video are unclear. Akademiks made the report on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday morning.

“Music video otw,” he wrote. Fans had mixed responses to the news. “Drake down bad.. he should end his washed career now!” one user replied to Ak’s post. Another added: “Tbh AK should just be a Drake fan page cause this is where we always getting the new exclusive from Drake.”

In addition to the music video, Drake previously confirmed that he’s working on a collaborative album with PartyNextDoor. Celebrating his OVO artist’s 31st birthday, last month, Drake wrote on Instagram: “More life to the late night serenader 6 side sound creator owl gang crusader melodies that persuade her baby making music to put her in labour none greater PartyNextDoor stay tuned real soon.” The following month, Awaiz Punjani asked Party for his favorite song with Drake, to which he responded: “The one we doing right now – all 15 we doing right now.”

Bryce James is the middle child of LeBron and Savannah James. Overall, there is a lot of public interest as it pertains to Bryce, and the same can be said of his older brother Bronny. Like Bronny, Bryce is a young basketball player with aspirations of making it to the NBA. Although there are no guarantees, Bryce’s proximity to LeBron certainly lends itself to increased scrutiny. You can make the argument that this is totally unfair, especially considering Bryce is just 17 years old.

Moreover, the personal lives of Bronny and Bryce have also been put under the microscope. Whenever Bronny is seen with a young woman, there is some sort of internet backlash involved. Now, the same can be said of Bryce, who recently posted his girlfriend for the first time while at an amusement park. In the video down below, Bryce was seen on a ride with his girlfriend, who he was also photographed with in Paris during the Summer Olympics.

In the replies to DJ Akademiks’ post, there were many onlookers who felt it was their place to cast judgments on the relationship. “Those girls using him for money already,” one person wrote. “She look too old for him,” said another. Some believe the woman in the video is older than Bryce and even accused her of grooming him. However, the age of Bryce’s girlfriend remains unconfirmed. Needless to say, this is yet another example of the internet being absolutely miserable. Bryce is clearly happing and living life to the fullest, which is all that should matter.

Tamar Braxton Admits She’s “Single & Sad” Before Deactivating Social Media

Tamar Braxton admitted she’s been feeling “single and sad” in a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter). She also described herself as married to Jeremy Robinson and said she regrets her family reality TV series, The Braxtons, which premiered on August 9th on WETV. Tamar and Jeremy attended a screening of the show together, last week.

“JR means the world to me… thank God for him… my husband and my children has saved my life!!!! But, I’m so mad at my life… my family is TOXIC!!! I should have NEVER went back to BFV!! NEVER!!!” In a follow-up post, she added: “Y’all I’m going through it. I’m single and sad and this TV s*** is a lot. Y’all have NO idea!!! NONE!!! The gas lighting is CRAZY!!! And I’m going back into treatment!!!! Omg I just pray that my marriage can be saved and my life can be spared. My family is AWFUL!!!” She deactivated both her X and Instagram accounts afterward.

Braxton’s mother, Evelyn, had much more positive feelings on the premiere of the new show in her own statement caught by Hot 97. She wrote: “Thank you all for sharing our lives. I hope that through each one of our experiences, you’ll grow with us. Inspiring you in your endeavors, and teaching you the importance of family, love, and experiencing life. Remember, we’re not perfect, we’re only human. Look at God.”

Kendrick Lamar Fans Debunk Claim That TDE Didn’t Support Nipsey Hussle’s Funeral

Fans of Kendrick Lamar have been coming to the defense of Top Dawg Entertainment on social media after a rumor began to spread that the group wasn’t supportive of Nipsey Hussle’s family as they made funeral arrangements. An account on X (formerly Twitter) with the username “keep6ixsolid” shared a clip of Hussle’s brother, Blacc Sam, reflecting on the days after the rapper’s death. The clip stems from his recent interview with Big Boy. In the caption, the user claimed the comments showed Lamar’s lack of support.

“Bro wtf is this??? I sat right next to Kendrick and Top at the funeral in the family section?” Ben Baller responded to the post. Karen Civil also shot down the rumor: “This isn’t accurate. Punch, Top Dawg & TDE were very supportive and in communication with us during that time and still continue to be supportive. Don’t create a false narrative to align it with your personal issues with TDE. Be blessed & #LLNH.” Another fan remarked: “Playing dirty with some dirty propaganda it’ll blow up on you… this is a whole lot of nothing you wrote here. Trying to paint Lamar and TDE as careless when it’s not the truth. But it’s expected from an OVHOE.” More users complained about Drake’s fanbase as well.

Foolio Murder Suspect Promises To “Be Home Soon” Despite Arrest

As fans and loved ones continue to mourn the tragic and untimely death of Foolio, investigators have made some progress, arresting four individuals accused of carrying out the murder. The Jacksonville rapper was shot at a Tampa Holiday Inn back in June, where he was celebrating his 26th birthday with friends.Sean Gathright, Isaiah Chance Jr., Alicia Andrews, and Rashad Murphy are currently in custody for their alleged involvement, and police are still searching for the fifth and final suspect.

Obviously, the people believed to have been involved in the shooting could be looking at some serious time behind bars. With that being said, however, one of them recently teased his return. Isaiah Chance Jr. took to his Instagram story today with an odd message to his followers.

“I miss y’all and I miss the [world],” he wrote. “I’ll be home soon.” It’s unclear whether or not there’s any truth to Chance Jr.’s claims, but Foolio’s fans think it’s unlikely. After all, he’s facing a first-degree murder charge, and authorities have high-quality surveillance footage of the shooting. This is far from the only bizarre social media activity fans have seen since Foolio’s passing, however. Immediately after his death was confirmed, his Instagram account began posting cryptic messages, leaving supporters confused.

The late rapper’s mother, Sandrikas Mays, has since taken over the account. “I’m running his account now,” she told SayCheeseTV earlier this month. “Before, somebody had his password or whatever and I’m just able to retrieve it from his phone. Before, I wasn’t running his account. But as of right now, you can see the different stuff on there now, me posting songs. Today, it was revealed that his @Ye Instagram account is live once again. He shut it down back in April after a rant about people continuing to call him Kanye West despite his official name change. For now, it remains unclear exactly why he’s decided to return, though social media users have some theories.

Many speculate that he plans to address something, though there are several possibilities for what that could be. Last week, the Chicago MC dropped off his eagerly anticipated project with Ty Dolla Sign, Vultures 2. It’s since received mixed reviews from listeners. Ye later delivered updated versions of several songs, as well as a new bonus track, “Take Off Your Dress.”

Today, it was also reported that Milo Yiannopoulos mentioned Ye in an affidavit for a complaint against the dentist who installed the rapper’s titanium grill. Yiannopoulos accuses the dentist of providing Ye with “enormous quantities of nitrous gas,” and claims to be worried about his alleged dependence on the substance. Some fans think that Ye will speak on these addiction accusations or Vultures 2. Many, on the other hand, theorize that he plans to comment on Drake’s latest drop.

Kehlani Faces Fan Criticism For Posing With “Twin” Chris Brown

Kehlani is coming under fire on social media for posing for a photo with Chris Brown, who labeled her his “twin” while sharing the picture online. Fans brought up the past allegations Brown has faced, including his infamous domestic violence case with Rihanna. Additionally, Brown once criticized Kehlani after they attempted suicide back in 2016.

“Kehlani went out of their way to remove Tory Lanez off a song after the incident with Megan, but now they all cozied up to Cocaine Fisticuffs Brown?” tweeted one user. Another wrote that them “hanging out with Chris brown genuinely feels like the biggest f*cking slap to the face.” One more posted: “kehlani spends so much time talking about advocating for human and womens rights to go be playing house with chris brown is sooooooo…… wake up to yourself what the fk.”

It’s no secret that ASAP Rocky’s Savage X Fenty underwear ad is a fan favorite, but according to ScHoolboy Q, it might have elicited too much of a reaction out of TDE’s Punch. Earlier today, Punch took to X to reveal that he’s been seeing the ad nonstop. He added that he found it pretty compelling too, and is considering getting a pair of his own.

“Man these Fenty drawls Rocky selling has great marketing and promotion. The ad pops up every time I scroll,” he wrote. “I’m finna get some.” Most fans agree that this is some solid promotion, and some even admitted that they too were tempted to get themselves a pair. ScHoolboy Q, on the other hand, took the opportunity to clown Punch for his comments.

“U gotta relax,” he wrote simply alongside a laughing emoji. Fortunately for Punch, the replies are flooded with fans coming to his defense, insisting that the ad truly is impossible to escape. “He ain’t wrong though, that ad be EVERYWHERE,” one claims. “Nah, dead a**. I didn’t ask for this,” another says. Punch isn’t the only one to find himself on the receiving end of ScHoolboy Q’s clowning, however. Back in 2022, ASAP Rocky teamed up with Calvin Klein for another underwear ad, which earned him a full-on roast.

“Y’all knew I was gone pull up… I honestly don’t know wat 2 say brah,” ScHoolboy Q commented at the time. “This sh*t so outta pocket he put headphones on… We been friends for about 10 yrs I’m really un following u on god.” Apparently, he made good on his promise too, though he’s since refollowed the Fashion Killa. Yesterday, for example, he got ripped apart for a few comments he made about New York City’s fashion sense on his podcast. “As far as style goes, I don’t think it’s sh*t going on when it comes to New York fashion,” he said. “Y’all like Purple Label, Amiri…and y’all wear a lot of y’all homeboy’s brands. Y’all wear all y’all’s homie’s sh*t. I know, we can tell.”

Yachty then appeared on the Flagrant podcast, where he discussed Drake’s viral lyrical battle with Kendrick Lamar, and admitted that he regrets weighing in. “I talked to him and that sh*t didn’t bother him. As it shouldn’t, he’s the f*cking guy. If I had $700 million you couldn’t talk to me either,” he added of Drizzy. “I think people just hate on Drake because he’s the guy… It’s also because he f*cked everyone’s b*tch.

According to him, he still has obligations related to his podcast, but won’t be posting otherwise. “I’m gone off this internet sh*t… Contracted to do this podcast sh*t unfortunately but I ain’t posting no more sh*t,” he said. “I’m deleting the apps off my phone, swear to God.”

According to him, he might be done for the entire remainder of the year, though it’s to be seen whether or not he’ll stick to this. Eminem fans have seemingly uncovered an easter egg on the legendary rapper’s latest album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce). It centers around an interview the Detroit artist gave back in 2005, in which he described his classic track, “When I’m Gone,” as “the death of Slim Shady” and him “putting this persona to bed.” On his new song, “Guilty Conscience 2,” he shoots his alter ego which prompts a snippet of “When I’m Gone” to start playing in the background.

When the easter egg started to go viral on social media, fans were stunned by the detail. “This guy is a genius man didn’t even clock,” one user wrote on X (formerly Twitter). Another added: “Jesus man this dude is light years ahead of the game. No wonder he’s so bored he’s beefing with himself.” One fan also pointed out: “Also he said What shot is this? First, second, it’s your third which links back to this song and my darling where he tries to end slim previously as well.”
