Young Thug’s Sister Wards Off Clout Chasers And Speaks On Thug’s Trauma Behind Bars

Young Thug chose to lay relatively low after his release from prison due to his non-negotiated plea deal in the YSL RICO case after over 900 days of incarceration. While this is completely understandable and reasonable for someone who endured what he endured, some fans are sadly more concerned with his next public outing and on capitalizing on the interest around this situation. In fact, Thugger’s sister Dora Williams took to Twitter on Thursday (November 7) to call this behavior out a week after his release. She called for more sympathy, patience, understanding, and love rather than people wanting to get something out of his freedom.

“I really wish everyone value the fact that my brother is human & actually went thru a lot of trauma,” Dora Williams expressed about her brother Young Thug. “As did his family. If he’s asking for you to come around him it’s to just chill not gain clout. You all will have that opportunity when he’s ready. Rn, shower him with love pls.” Thug was rumored to pop out for a Colorado University football game, but it seems like this didn’t pan out.

But Young Thug has made it clear that he’s around and reconnecting with his world, even if it’s in ways that still protect his privacy and personal process. For example, he joined his lawyer Brian Steel via FaceTime to briefly speak to Emory University law students, and also linked up with T.I. to mark his first official post-prison appearance. The Atlanta rapper must be juggling a whole lot of wishes, obligations, opportunities, and to-do-list items right now, and we’re happy to wait as long as we have to if he wants to make a comeback.

What’s more is that multiple collaborators such as Metro Boomin and Lil Baby have hinted at new music with him coming soon. Young Thug himself teased a Wham collab, but we don’t really have any more information when it comes to a timeline or anything like that. What we do know is that empathy and support are far more important than “clout,” whatever that means in this context. So let’s let him process the past two-and-a-half years with grace and understanding.

Prince’s Sister Tyka Nelson Passes Away At 64

The family of Prince has lost another musical icon recently, as his only full sibling, Tyka Nelson has passed away. A sister, mother, songwriter, and singer, she was 64 years young with no further details available at this time. This report comes via The Minnesota Star Tribune and Billboard. Tyka’s son, President Nelson broke the news to the former.

According to the outlets, she was getting ready to perform one last time in her hometown of Minneapolis back in June. She was going to retire in grand fashion at the Dakota, a major jazz and blues club in the area. However, her health was deteriorating, and she was forced to cancel the send-off performance. Tyka Nelson had mentioned to The Minnesota Star Tribune that age was also becoming more of a factor as well.

Safaree made a controversial maneuver this past weekend by popping out to support Nicki Minaj. She is currently in the midst of her Gag City Reloaded portion of the extensive Pink Friday 2 tour. Video of her ex surfaced online, and it went viral. The artist and TV personality was having the time of his life dancing to the Queen of New York’s hits. He even voiced his love for Nicki on X (Twitter), saying, “I’m proud no cap… a lot of yalll will never understand but there is no malice in me… I’m proud.” The former partners had a pretty nasty and tumultuous fall out, especially after the breakup.

But it seems like Safaree is trying to turn a new leaf. In that same announcement, Carey expressed how hard it was for to reveal this information.

I feel blessed that I was able to spend the last week with my mom before she passed”. However, a close friend of Alison’s is disputing that she’s not as emotionally damaged as she is putting on. According to The Neighborhood Talk and an exclusive report from The U.S. Sun, David Baker divulged in the conversations he had with her, as he was around her for almost a decade trying to help her through health complications and her addictions.

Moreover, a woman claimed that this is her biological father as well, and that she is Monet’s half-sister.
