Lanez reportedly gave a lengthy speech in court. He said that he still “dearly cares for” his victim, no matter what she thinks of them. “The victim is my friend,” he said of the rap diva. Tory specifically recalled the time that they spent bonding over the shared experience of losing their mothers. “We both lost our mothers. We would sit there and drink, and drink until we got numb,” the 31-year-old vented.

Tory Lanez was Finally Sentenced

“I said some very immature things that I shouldn’t have said. I revealed some secrets I shouldn’t have revealed,” he also admitted to everyone in attendance. Earlier today, the case’s District Attorney called Lanez out for lacking accountability by attempting to blame his alleged alcohol problem for his actions. His latest comments appear to be the first signs of remorse the world has heard from the R&B crooner. She didn’t appear in court herself this week. Still, Megan gave a statement asking the judge to not consider showing her shooter any mercy.

“He lied to anyone that would listen and paid bloggers to disseminate false information about the case on social media,” she wrote. While waiting for the final verdict in Tory Lanez’s case today, a supporter of the artist went viral from outside the courthouse. In a series of videos, she’s been bashing his victim, blaming Thee Stallion for having to take time off work to come and support her shooter. Part Of Megan Thee Stallion’s Statement About Tory Lanez

“Important: Judge Herriford said he believes Lanez’s actions after the shooting, the social media posts and harassment of Megan, are a major aggravating factor in his sentence,” the journalist went on. “He says he won’t consider lack of remorse, but he says considering the post-shooting actions are similar. More from Megan Thee Stallion’s statement at Tory Lanez’s sentencing: ‘He not only shot me, he made a mockery of my trauma, he tried to position himself as a victim and set out to destroy my character and my soul.’ ‘He lied to anyone that would listen and paid bloggers to disseminate false information about the case on social media, he released music videos and songs to damage my character and continue his crusade.

“‘At first, he tried to deny the shooting ever happened,’” Cuniff concluded. “‘Then, he attempted to place the blame on my former best friend. In his tantrum of lies, he’s blamed the system, blamed the press and, as of late, he’s using his childhood trauma to shield himself and avoid culpability.’ ‘For once, the defendant must be forced to face the full consequences of his heinous actions and face justice.’ The sentencing hearing continues tomorrow at 10:30 am in Los Angeles.” For more news and the latest updates on Megan Thee Stallion and the Tory Lanez case, stay up to date on HNHH.

However, several of Delavallade’s relatives have taken to social media to accuse Davison-Rodriguez of the crime. One TikTok showed the alleged police report in the case. Davison-Rodriguez is listed as the suspect and is accused of killing Delavallade with a small-caliber handgun. Woman Allegedly Tied To 350Heem’s Murder Says She Isn’t A Felon

Last weekend, Florida rapper 350Heem was murdered. According to reports, the 25-year-old was hosting an album release party for his new LP, Taking Chances 3. Things took a turn for the worst, however, as he was later shot and killed outside of the Jade Fox Wine Bar & Lounge in Lakeland, Florida. Another individual, a 48-year-old woman, was also injured in the shooting.

A woman was arrested in connection to 350Heem’s murder at the scene of the tragedy. A gun was also recovered, which had been reported as stolen in 2015. The 23-year-old, Jamilah Johnson, was then charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, which her defense says is inaccurate. “She’s not a convicted felon,” her lawyer Jeff Holmes stated. He also pointed out that despite not being a felon, she does have a criminal record.

Johnson was charged with carrying a concealed weapon in 2022. After pleading no contest, court documents suggest that the charge was later reduced to a misdemeanor. Her lawyer continued, “Since she wasn’t a convicted felon and the only charge they originally arrested her for was possession by a convicted felon, she never should have been arrested.” 350Heem was pronounced dead shortly after being transported to the Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center. The other injured individual was left with “critical injuries.”

“It’s a grief I’ve never felt before,” the rapper’s aunt told 10 Tampa Bay while confirming his passing. “You never want to bury your 25-year-old nephew.” Kennie Crawford, 350Heem’s mother, also shared a statement on her son’s death. “I am in disbelief,” she expressed, “My heart is broken. I can’t even gather my words right at this moment.” 350Heem was also the younger brother of former NBA player Dwayne Bacon. Bacon shared a message to his late sibling on Instagram earlier this week. “We were the first two kids momma had,” he explained, “and we made it out. You and I, we made it out. Crazy, I always believed in you no matter what you did.”

350Heem Shot & Killed At His Album Release Party In Florida

Up-and-coming Florida rapper 350Heem has become the most recent young rap artist to pass away far too soon. According to HipHopDX, the Lakeland, Florida artist has died at just 25 years old. He was reportedly shot and killed outside his own mixtape release party early Saturday morning. The shooting reportedly happened outside Jade Fox Lounge and also resulted in a 48-year-old woman being shot and left in critical condition. In a message to Florida local news, the rapper’s family gave a statement. “It’s a grief I’ve never felt before. You never want to bury your 25-year-old nephew.”

350heem was celebrating the release of his new mixtape Taking Chances 3. The series of Taking Chances mixtapes date all the way back to 2017 and is following the second entry from 2019. The album features heem’s viral hit “Caught Up” as well as a feature from Florida affiliate 350Quan. It’s the rapper’s second new album of 2023 following The Poet, a nine track project he dropped back in February. He also released the 4-track Lost Files EP a month later in March.

350heem Tragically Slain

While a 23-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the shooting, it is still an active and ongoing investigation. The tragedy comes just as the hip-hop world gathered together in Philadelphia over the weekend to honor a different victim of gun violence. Gillie Da Kid’s eldest son was tragically killed in a shooting last week. Over the weekend they threw an impromptu music festival called Gillie Fest to pay tribute to Gillie’s son. Rappers like Meek Mill and Freeway were in attendance for the festival. They were also joined by Sauce Walka and G Herbo for a surprise cypher taped backstage at the festival.

350heem began blowing up on TikTok in late 2020 and early 2021. His song “Talk Dat Talk” became a viral hit on the platform and drew plenty of attention along the way. He was reportedly signed to Motown Records later in 2021, but the deal appears to have fallen through at some point. He scored yet another viral hit later that year with his track “Water.” RIP

Shooting After Mozzy Performance Causes Club Closure

Hip-hop fans recently experienced a shock when authorities arrested Mozzy following a shooting at a nightclub he performed at. Moreover, it occurred on Saturday (July 1) at City Nightz nightclub in Wichita, Kansas and left nine people injured due to gunshot wounds and two injured due to being trampled amid the chaos. Police stated that these victims, both male and female are aged between 21 and 34, and five of these received treatment at local hospitals. Furthermore, the rapper hosted an afterparty following a performance of his at another venue, but the unrelated distressing events held heavy consequences for the club. According to local outlet 12 News, authorities hit City Nightz with a 30-day suspension, or in other words, temporary closure.

What’s more is that law enforcement already made significant strides in identifying the true culprit for this shooting. The Wichita Police Department arrested 31-year-old Missouri resident Brandon Young in connection with the incident. Not only that, but Chief Joe Sullivan told 12 News that Young actually worked as a security guard for Mozzy that night. In addition, Sullivan stressed the importance of screening people before entering the club as an important safety precaution that could’ve prevented these injuries.

“We need to take a strong stance in response to what occurred, because in my estimate,” Sullivan remarked of the shooting at the Mozzy afterparty. Also, he brought up that City Nightz faced 12 prior occurrences like these this year alone. “I believe it was totally preventable. You can’t have gun violence under control. If you have one homicide, one shooting, that’s too many. We were actually below last year in shooting victims, but due to the number of the shooting victims that happened in that one incident, we were slightly above last year. It’s a major concern for us… I am really hoping this is a wakeup call for club owners across our city, not just in Old Town.”

Meanwhile, authorities released the California MC shortly after his brief stint. Presumably, they interrogated him concerning the shooting and let him go on no charges for what went down. Hopefully his future shows don’t see danger like this again. For more news and the latest updates on Mozzy, check back in with HNHH.

Mozzy Released From Prison After Short Stint For Club Shooting On No Charges

Fans recently celebrated the release of Mozzy from jail, who served a ten-month prison sentence on federal gun charges. While that news disappointed many of the Sacramento rapper’s listeners, he still kept his career going with plenty of releases in that timeframe. However, the joy of his freedom didn’t last long as authorities detained him following a shooting at a Kansas nightclub he performed at. Moreover, very little information emerged as to the reasoning or implications of this arrest from reports on the matter. “Maaan @MozzyThaMotive came out to our city Wichita, [Kansas] for a dope a** show,” a user captioned a video of the arrest. “Went to [an] after party and then got arrested. SMH, free Mozzy yo, f**k 12.”

Now, it seems like that issue was resolved, as officials released Mozzy following his brief detainment. In addition, reports indicate that authorities pressed no charges against the MC for what went down in Kansas. According to ABC News, the nightclub he had a show in suffered a shooting that left seven shot and two trampled. Apparently police detained him for questioning as a suspect of the shooting, but it turns out that accusation was short-lived.

Mozzy Reportedly Released

Regardless, the CMG signee is probably looking forward to working on his career moves and expressing himself through music once more. After all, his time behind bars didn’t stop him from keeping fans fed, even if it was through a shorter project than many probably wanted. Furthermore, his Kollect Kall EP featured YFN Lucci, E MOZZY, Baby Money, and Celly Ru across six new tracks. Hopefully his release means that authorities cleared him of legal trouble over the tragic shooting, and that they’re working hard to find the true culprit.

Meanwhile, given the 36-year-old’s resilience, he definitely has the spirit to bounce back hard following his troubles. “Life comes at you fast. Sometimes s**t gets real [and] you gotta take that deal,” he stated to the press upon turning himself in for his gun case. “It’ll get slimy out here. Appreciate my loved ones. Chin up, chest out. Love you the most.” For more news and the latest updates on Mozzy, check back in with HNHH.
