Sexyy Red is getting ready to launch the Sexyy Red 4 President Tour, but fans in some cities have been faced with disappointment as upcoming dates have been canceled.
As HipHopDX notes, the tour was originally set to kick off in Seattle today (August 22), but that date was canceled and the tour is now set to start in Atlanta on August 24. Red’s August 23 date in Portland and August 26 date in Oakland were also called off. Red herself hasn’t made an announcement about the cancellations, but rather, ticketholders were notified by Ticketmaster.
This comes after some tour drama in July. In response to a report that claimed Red’s tour was “on the verge of being canceled,” she tweeted, “My fans are buying tickets we’re doin just fine we not canceling no tour dis cancelling sh*t all cap.”
She added in a pair of other tweets, “Dis how Dey try to do u wen u go wit an independent promoter n the bigger companies try to sabotage u we not cancelling sht. I did my touring deal with a black promoter black owned company AG Entertainment and now Dey playin dirty paying pages spreading fake news to discourage my fans from buying tickets.”
Sexyy Red’s presence in hip-hop is very strong, but it’s taking a hit right now. According to some digging from theJasmineBrand, the St. Louis, Missouri MC is already having to cancel a handful of shows for her second headlining tour. Sexyy Red 4 President is supposed to get underway tomorrow, August 22, in Seattle Washington at WAMU Theater. Sadly, though, that won’t be happening. Additionally, her stops in Portland (August 23) and Oakland (August 26) are also ixnayed.
So, with that known, she will not be hitting the road until Saturday, August 24, in Atlanta, Georgia at State Farm Arena. What’s pretty interesting here is that the hitmaker did not make any announcements on her social media. There’s nothing on X nor Instagram and it’s got some fans reacting pretty sourly, unsurprisingly. “B**** I’m trying so hard not to cure sexyy red out. B**** why this h*e canceled her show out here?!?!?!?!?!”. “WHY WOULD U CANCEL YO SHOW IN OAKLAND WTF ”.
While this may be a shocking development to some, there were some previous reports proving that this was a true possibility. In early July, The Art Of Dialogue and Touring Data found that just 37.11 percent of the 85,217 tickets were sold back then. Now, it isn’t clear how many have been scooped up since that time. However, it’s pretty clear that sales are still not where they should be. Hopefully, this trend doesn’t continue for Red in the future, but right now, this is a pretty big deal.
What are your thoughts on Sexyy Red having to cancel a handful of her shows for the Sexyy Red 4 President tour? Do you think this is a big deal or no deal, and why? Are you surprised that she’s not able to perform in every city? Do you think it has to do with her music, or the venues she’s selecting? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Sexyy Red. Happy Back to School Day, as proclaimed by Sexyy Red. While not every student out there starts today, she took it upon herself to celebrate the new season by sharing a boatload of throwback pictures of herself in her high school days. This is far from the first time that the St. Louis femcee has done so, but we have a lot of new snaps to look at now. Even Metro Boomin and other celebrities pulled up to her comments section to laugh or reminisce themselves. It’s oddly jarring but nonetheless heartening to see this rise from hallway beginnings to superstar status and even an NSFW beauty brand.
Jokes aside, not all of Sexyy Red’s reflections are light, but she always rises above the hardship at the end of the day. “STORY TIME: The night get it sexyy was made I was goin thru a lot,” she captioned an Instagram post celebrating the Gold certification of her hit “Get It Sexyy.” “Just had my baby felt depressed and was goin thru postpartum. My team in Miami would leave me in the studio to write songs. I would just b in there crying thinkin about life. I finally said send me back to St. Louis so I can b around the ones I love and get back to me!
“Boom I’m in St. Louis,” Sexyy Red continued. “I invite all my sisters and friends to my studio session. We had blunts, bottles, food allet and I came out wit GET IT SEXYY GET IT SEXYY. It really was ah confidence booster for me, we was so turnt all my sadness was gone. I love my family period ps… I was monain in the song cause my h0 was behind me humpin me while I was recording.”
Meanwhile, there are still fans demanding answers as to one of Sexyy Red’s recent online antics. Is she really dating Chief Keef, is Kayla B actually Sosa’s partner, or both? Nevertheless, the “Bow Bow Bow” collaborators apparently have a joint album on the way. As such, romance or not, we can expect a lot more bombast from them in the near future.
When it comes to an explicit hip-hop bop, such as “Pound Town,” in Sexyy we trust. Now Sexyy Red is looking to convert that risqué mindset into the cosmetics empire, starting with a few explicitly named products.
Today (August 19), Sexyy Red announced the relaunch of her beauty brand, Northside Princess. The “F My Baby Dad” rapper is stepping up her entrepreneur game. Over on Instagram, posted a slideshow of sensual promotional photos to get followers hyped for its release, along with the NSFW product names.
“BO$$ LADY SPEAKIN ,” she wrote. “New and improved @sexyyred_products is back better den eva! Introducing NORTHSIDE PRINCESS, the brand @getnorthside . My first product will b my lip gloss.”
If you are a follower of Sexyy Red, you should be familiar with the product line. Back in September 2023, the lip glosses went viral after Sexyy Red shared each product’s name. Today, the same thing happened after she listed the NSFW name in the upload’s caption: “Coochie Juice, Booty hole Brown, Nut, P*ssyhole Pink, Yellow Discharge, Gonorrhea, Blue Ballz, Sex On My Period (fruit scented).”
Users online shared their divided responses in the post’s comment section.
“Love you down girl, but I will not be putting sh*t called yellow discharge near my mouth,” wrote one user.
“I wonder if ‘Blue Waffle’ and ‘Herpes’ are coming next,” joked another.
“Gonorrhea and yellow discharge is insane,” penned another.
“Missed the opportunity to call the yellow one ‘Golden Shower’ to be honest,” added another.
Sexyy Red’s beauty brand Northside Princess will be available for purchase soon. Find more information here.
Sexyy Red has dealt with pearl-clutching backlash ever since she blew up, from boring takes about her twerking too much to some legitimate criticism of her lewd nature. Even though most of this conversation turned into an overreaction online, it’s sometimes easy to see why people are so disgusted by the antics. For example, she recently announced the launch of her new beauty brand, Northside Princess, and the product names are… Creative, to say the least. Here are some highlights: “Bootyhole Brown,” “Yellow Discharge,” “Gonorrhea,” and “Sex On My Period.” With these shade names, it’s funny to think about a middle-aged Macy’s worker restocking “Nut” on shelves.
Jokes aside, this backlash – however understandable – is also the type of reaction that is best expressed by one’s wallet. If you don’t buy it, you don’t really need to say anything else about it for your opinion to be clear to Sexyy Red and her team. She’s much busier elsewhere, wishing Chief Keef a happy birthday amid some alleged love triangle drama and continuing to pop out for electric performances. Still, whether or not Northside Princess is a hit, there is plenty more where these titles came from. They will probably grace a song title or two, if not some lyrical nods.
Meanwhile, in other Sexyy Red news, she recently opened up about postpartum depression following the gold certification of “Get It Sexyy.” “The night get it sexyy was made I was goin thru a lot. Just had my baby felt depressed and was goin thru postpartum,” she recalled on Instagram. “My team in Miami would leave me in the studio to write songs. I would just b in there crying thinkin about life.
“I finally said send me back to St. Louis so I can b around the ones I love and get back to me!” Sexyy Red continued. “Boom I’m in St. Louis. I invite all my sisters and friends to my studio session. We had blunts, bottles, food allet and I came out wit GET IT SEXYY GET IT SEXYY. It really was ah confidence booster for me. We was so turnt all my sadness was gone I love my family period.”
Fans who have been wondering about the exact nature of Sexyy Red and Chief Keef’s relationship got some juicy red meat for gossip (or maybe red wine?) when the St. Louis star went on the Thoughts In A Culli podcast on Wednesday (August 14). After being asked about Chief Keef, Sexyy joked that the Chicago rapper “might be my third baby daddy” after detailing their interactions over the past few months.
“That’s my dog,” she said of Keef. “I don’t got too many homeboys that I can sit on the phone with. And I’m not even saying that’s my homeboy ‘cause I don’t know what we got going on. We like each other. But we can sit on the phone, we can be around each other and act like we been knew each other all these years… That’s my n****!”
The first time the two rappers were linked was when they teamed up to record “Bow Bow Bow (F My Baby Dad),” which was released last December. Keef appears in the video for the song, which features selfies of the two engaged in some cozy PDA. Sexyy had posted those selfies before the release of the video, which first sparked the rumors, but it sounds like things have progressed quite a bit since then. Sexyy recently appeared to confirm that the two were also working on a joint album together, so there’s a chance that their association could wind up being very productive, indeed.
You can watch the full interview with Sexyy Red for Thoughts In A Culli above.
Chief Keef is the muse of many ladies out there, and on Thursday (August 15), two of his biggest celebrity fans congratulated him on his 29th birthday. Kayla B, King Von’s sister, posted an Instagram video from her bed in which he stands next to her in the distance, captioning it with “Happy Birthday 2 my boyfriend I love youuuuuu @chieffkeeffsossa.” On the other hand, Sosa’s “Bow Bow Bow” collaborator Sexyy Red took to IG with a video of the two of them together flexing their chains and stakcs of cash. “Happy burfday keefy,” she captioned her post, adding to theories that there’s a love triangle going on with these individuals.
However, Sexyy Red’s recent comments on her Chief Keef relationship indicate that they don’t really have a label and that her back-and-forth social media jabs with Kayla B aren’t that serious. “It’s genuine,” she said during an interview. “That’s my peoples, that’s my dog. Like, I don’t got too many homeboys that I can sit on the phone with. And I’m not even saying that’s my homeboy ’cause I don’t know what we got going on. We like each other, but we can sit on the phone, we can be around each other and act like we been knew each other all these years.”
Not only that, but Sexyy Red even joked about making Chief Keef her third baby daddy. It’s still relatively unclear exactly what the dynamic between them and Kayla B is, and how each of them would characterize these relationships. Either way, the worst case scenario is that they’re leaning into this speculation for our entertainment, so let’s always remain skeptical. After all, jumping to conclusions is how this could turn into some actual drama.
Meanwhile, a lot of Chief Keef fans might not be as quick to congratulate him on his birthday this time around. As his return to Instagram proved, a lot of fans are unhappy that he postponed his 2024 tour for medical reasons, especially after Almighty So 2 took so long to come out. But what many Sosa fans should remember is that AS2 was well worth the wait, and so will this tour. So happy birthday, Chief: we hope Kayla B, Sexyy Red, and many more made your 29th a great one.
Sexyy Red and Chief Keef have so much collaborative chemistry that they apparently have a joint album on the way, but fans are still wondering if there’s more to it than that. Moreover, following some social media jabs back and forth with King Von’s sister Kayla B, many are speculating as to whether or not the two rappers are a romantic item. Kayla and Sexyy joked about sharing the Chicago legend and, while many thought their clash was legitimate, it seems like there’s a good chance it was all joking or all for show. During a new Thoughts In A Culli interview with GRM Daily CEO Post, the St. Louis femcee spoke on how she would characterize her bond with Sosa.
“It’s genuine,” Sexyy Red said of her relationship, professional or otherwise, with Chief Keef.
Not only that, but when Post doubled down, Sexyy Red seemed to double down as well: “That’s my n***a.” In fact, she even joked about making Chief Keef her third baby daddy after advocating for her first’s freedom. Still, while these words don’t put an official label on them or even confirm that these statements refer to a romantic fling, it does seem like they at least have a great bond together that they still have yet to define.
As such, maybe we can expect a more formal relationship reveal somewhere down the line for Sexyy Red and Chief Keef. The “Bow Bow Bow (F My Baby Dad)” dynamic duo certainly have fans on the edge of their seats for more chemistry-filled collaborations. But are they actually an item or just good friends leaning into the promotional and engagement opportunities that a romance would bring them? Either way, we’re here for it.
Everybody on the planet has a twin, and Sexyy Red has found hers. One X user was showing off her new hair color when the rest of social media realized the resemblance.
Red also chimed in, dubbing the person “Sophisticatedd Red?”
In other news, Sexyy Red has revealed that she will drop a joint album with Chief Keef. Red kept mystery in their relationship, stating, “That’s my boo.”
“We dropping an album soon,” Red said. “Yeah, for sure. We’ve been working.
“We just be on some money shit. Some car shit, fast cars. Fuck these hoes. Buy some clothes. and keep your hair done.”
Earlier this year, Sexyy Red and Chief Keef released the highly-anticipated video for their collaboration “Bow Bow Bow (F My Baby Dad),” a standout track from Sexyy’s acclaimed Hood Hottest Princess (Deluxe) project. Known for her advocacy for her child’s father, Sexyy takes a new approach in this track, encouraging mothers everywhere to leave their “hating a**” baby daddies and enjoy themselves. Chief Keef mirrors Sexyy’s energy, expressing similar disdain for his baby mama.
Directed by NSTY, the video features Sexyy and Chief Keef heading to “The Corry Show,” a playful spin on the infamous Maury Povich show, to prove that Keef is her baby daddy.
The video also marks the beginning of Sexyy’s new era as the hood’s hottest presidential candidate. The intro shows Sexyy informing constituents of her #MakeAmericaSexyyAgain campaign platform, promising enticing policies like free food stamps.
Sexyy recently announced her upcoming “Sexyy Red 4 President Tour,” a 26-city tour with support from Hunxho, Loe Shimmy, BlakeIANA, and a surprise special guest. The tour continues Sexyy’s streak of buzzworthy performances at Governor’s Ball and Roots Picnic, along with upcoming international festival appearances at Wireless Festival, Rokslide, Rolling Loud Europe, and more.
The tour follows the release of Sexyy’s In Sexyy We Trust mixtape, the follow-up to her 2023 debut Hood Hottest Princess, which includes the Billboard top 20 hit “Get It Sexyy” and the top 50 love anthem “U My Everything” ft. Drake. If you’ve never been to a Sexyy Red show, it’s a must-add to your summer bucket list, with crowds expected to twerk on top of their seats to “SkeeYee” and “Get It Sexyy!”
Earlier this week, Chief Keef, Sexyy Red, and King Von’s sister Kayla B made one big love triangle.
Sexyy Red hit social media, seemingly confirming she was romantically involved with Chief Keef, showing off his chain, including putting it in her underwear. “We got together now,” she wrote, tagging Keef. Keef and Red have become frequent collaborators.
In response, Kayla shared images with Sosa, and kicking off the drama, which Red responded “How I taste?”
The two then shared images of moments with Chief Keef, seemingly right after each other as he was in the same clothes. Kayla B also shared intimate moments with Keef writing, “First one to get pregnant wins.”
