With each episode of Hot Ones, a new knee-slapping viral moment is birthed. The last episode starring Sabrina Carpenter spawned several memes.

Based on the new promotional image of Childish Gambino’s forthcoming appearance, there are plenty more to come. The “Lithonia” musician can dish the heat (hello, 2024 BET Awards), but from the photo it is clear you might have a hard time handle spicy meals.

But for the sake of promoting the Bando Stone And The New World movie and soundtrack, Childish Gambino will power through.

“This week on @HotOnes, we got @donaldglover vs. The Wings of Death. 💀 Tune in Thursday @ 11AM ET 🔥,” read the caption.

Supporters of the series immediately began to call out Childish Gambino’s look of concern.

“Bro looking happy,” joked one user.

“It’s the face and the frames,” penned another.

“His expression is already killing me,” chimed another.

Sandwiched between the flood of “Grownish Gambino” jokes in reference to influencer Jordan Howlett (aka “Jordan The Stallion), fans shared their excitement for the forthcoming episode.

“Every time I watch ‘Hot Ones’ I search his name. Just in case I missed it… [I] manifested this,” declared one fan.

Maya Rudolph As Beyoncé Couldn’t Handle The Southern Heat In A Hilarious ‘Hot Ones’ Parody On ‘SNL’

Beyoncé can do it all — singing, dancing, acting, and recently, launching a haircare brand. And even though she carries hot sauce in her bag — as she noted on her 2016 hit single “Formation” — it’s possible that even she can’t handle the spice level of the wings on Hot Ones. In a Saturday Night Live sketch tonight (May 10), Mikey Day played Hot Ones host Sean Evans in a parody of the iconic YouTube show. Joining Day was tonight’s (May 11) host, Rudolph, as the one-and-only Beyoncé.

Hot off the release of her latest album, Cowboy Carter, Rudolph’s Beyoncé reminds us that she’s a southern country queen. But the flavor and heat of the wings proves to be too much — even for the Queen Bey.

Rudolph’s Beyoncé takes to the first few wings pretty well. But by the time she tries the “Sergeant Sphincter’s Volcanpeño sauce, with a Scoville rating of 530,000,” she appears to meet her match.

“This wing is stompin’ my ass,” she said. “Damn, my bones are hot. That wing was a real one.”

But thanks to the help of Bey’s loyal assistant, De’Raphael (Kenan Thompson), the world, perhaps, might never see Beyoncé in this rather humbling scenario.

You can watch the sketch above.

Sean Evans Ex Claims Breakup Was Over Her Adult Film Career

Melissa Stratton, the now-ex-girlfriend of Hot Ones host Sean Evans, has claimed to TMZ that the breakup was over the fact that she is a porn star. Stratton told the outlet that after their relationship went public following the Super Bowl, Evans suddenly became “skittish” about her career. However, Stratton said she “understood” and that she held no ill will towards Evans.

However, how much that holds true remains to be seen. Soon after the breakup, she posted an image to Instagram showing herself in the company of famed pornstar Johnny Sins. “It’s ok I’ve got a better bald man to get spicy with @mosttalentedbaldman 🔥🍗,” Stratton wrote as a caption. Furthermore, TMZ spoke to her as she headed to record a podcast with Adam22, which will certainly address the situation further.

Who Is Sean Evans?

Sean Evans got his start in journalism as a copywriter in Chicago. While working for the city’s tourism board, he was also freelancing for Complex. After some of his interviews went viral, Evans was offered a full-time position with the culture outlet. Under the Complex-owned brand of First We Feast, Evans created Hot Ones. As mentioned, the show combines the in-depth interview style of Nardwuar with the sight of celebrities struggling to eat progressively spicier hot wings.

However, Evans has made it clear that he doesn’t intend to do Hot Ones forever. “I do feel in some ways closer to the end of it than the beginning. We have been doing it for a long time. I’m not sure there’s anything that I’m leaving on the table. Hot Ones has already done 10 laps around any expectation that I ever had for it. So it’s in a spot where I’m just doing something that I really enjoy doing. So I’m committed to Hot Ones for as long as the fans will allow it,” he told Esquire in 2021.

Melissa Stratton Searches Spike In Wake Of Sean Evans Breakup

Per a statement given by Aylo to TMZ, PornHub searches for Melissa Stratton spiked by 1217% in the wake of the news that she and Hot Ones host Sean Evans had broken up. The company projected that Stratton’s numbers would top a 1350% spike by the end of February 15. As for Stratton herself, she appeared to be taking the breakup well. She posted an image to Instagram showing herself in the company of famed pornstar Johnny Sins. “It’s ok I’ve got a better bald man to get spicy with @mosttalentedbaldman 🔥🍗,” Stratton wrote as a caption.

According to Stratton, Evans was uncomfortable with the amount of media attention their relationship had suddenly received after TMZ published news about the couple on Valentine’s Day. Stratton theorized that while Evans was fine with her employment, there were others in his camp who pressured him to end the relationship now that it was public. Evans and Stratton attended the Super Bowl together last weekend, with the photos from that event becoming the basis of TMZ‘s report. Perhaps the straw that broke the camel’s back was No Jumper host Adam22 congratulating Evans with a message about how he had previously had sex with Stratton. It’s unlikely that things will change. However, perhaps this is a pertinent moment for media outlets to be introspective about the very real impact they have on the lives of others.

Adam22 Congratulates Sean Evans On Adult Actress Girlfriend

Adam22 has congratulated Hot Ones host Sean Evans on the public reveal of his relationship with adult actress Melissa Stratton. “Congrats Sean her p-ssy is fire 🔥🔥🔥,” the No Jumper host wrote on X, as well as promoting the episode of the Plug Talk Show that Stratton appeared on. Plug Talk is the podcast/porno hosted by Adam and his wife, Lena. Rumors that Evans was dating Stratton exploded after the pair were spotted at Super Bowl LVIII together.

“Melissa had been posting a ton of photos of her and Sean all weekend across various social platforms of hers — and in a lot of them… they look awfully cozy… almost couple-y, in fact. Her captions also suggested there may be some romance afoot — even though there wasn’t any straight-up PDA shown between them in any of the pics she posted,” TMZ reported of the pairing.

Appearing on Hot Ones is becoming a sort of rite of passage for celebrities. Cardi B Battles Through Spicy Wings On Hot Ones

Over the years hundreds of celebrities have sat opposite Sean Evans and tried their hand at eating some incredibly spicy wings on his show Hot Ones. The format has long created hilarious moments for celebs who aren’t ready for the heat. That seemed to also be the case for the newest celeb to take the spot, Cardi B. Amid questions about aliens, intro songs on an album, and her love for Rihanna, Cardi also tries to stomach some spicy wings.

The interview opens up with a teaser clip of Cardi shedding some spice-induced tears. In the snippet, she claims “I wanna go home to my kids, this is crazy.” Despite the serious-sounding claims, the rapper is pretty much all smiles throughout the interview. She also manages to hold up to the spicy wings better than many of Evans’ other guests. Unsurprisingly, fans rushed to the comments to praise her right away. “I don’t even listen to her music but there’s no denying Cardi is a real one. Cant put her personality down” one of the top comments on the video reads. Check out the entire interview below.

Cardi B Interviewed On “Hot Ones”

Recently, Cardi B has entered a sort of mini beef with Joe Budden. The podcast host gave his thoughts on Cardi’s newest track “Bongos” and it wasn’t necessarily all positive. She took issue with some of his observations and comments, though the beef ended up blown out of proportion. Budden continues to claim that there were never any hard feelings and it was all blown out of proportion by the way it was reported.

Cardi also ended up being subjected to a proxy beef of sorts. Her husband Offset and Nicki Minaj’s husband Kenneth Petty took shots at each other repeatedly online. It got so bad eventually that Petty’s house arrest was reinstated after he made threats at Offset online. What do you think of Cardi B’s interview on Hot Ones? Let us know in the comment section below.

Quavo Recalls Migos’ Origins Before Tapping Out During His ‘Hot Ones’ Interview

With Migos‘ new album Culture III dropping in less than 12 hours, the trio’s most visible members, Quavo and Offset, have been busy doing press all week to drum up buzz for the long-awaited, twice-delayed release. While Offset went the print route, giving some choice quotes to Billboard on Monday, Quavo decided to take on the Hot Ones challenge today… and paid the price, ultimately tapping out after the eighth week, topped with the infamous Da Bomb sauce (“It’s got a nuclear weapon?” has to be a top ten response to the sauce’s label).

Before he threw in the towel, though, he gave some pretty insightful answers to questions about how his collaborators set the vibe in the studio, a photo on Instagram featuring Quavo hanging out with Elon Musk, Kanye West, and Travis Scott, Quavo’s upcoming feature film debut alongside Robert DeNiro, and the early days of Migos before they were a trio. When host Sean Evans brings up the song “Boost It Up” and the group’s high school origins, Quavo details how Takeoff earned his name (by getting all of his verses recorded in one take), why fellow students teased them about their early music, and how Offset was eventually added to the crew to form the trio as we know it.

Watch Quavo’s Hot Ones interview above.

Culture III is out 6/11 on Quality Control, Capitol, and Motown Records.
