Rihanna Would Love For GloRilla To Record Savage X Fenty’s Theme Song, If Only The Brand Had One

Rihanna’s billionaire empire is expanding quickly. The “Umbrella” singer’s latest release includes Savage X Fenty’s new line debut at Nordstrom stores.

On October 10, the entrepreneur celebrated the collection’s arrival with a commemorative event at Nordstrom Century City in Los Angeles, California. Still while chatting up with press, Rihanna could escape questions about music. But instead of her own solo work, model Alton Mason surprised Rihanna with some musical food for thought regarding Savage X Fenty.

“If there was a Savage X Fenty theme song who would you want to sing it,” asked Alton (see video here).

Although the question could’ve easily been bait for Rihanna to tease her highly anticipated album, she dodged it by spotlighting another musician.

After giving the question some thought, Rihanna hilariously responded, “GloRilla.”

Despite GloRilla’s love for singing online, she is in fact not an actual vocal rather a rapper. Still, users online are in feel support of Rihanna’s imaginary wish.

Rihanna went on to explain the reasoning behind her choice. “To see a young lady who’s still grounded in who she is and where she came from, I love that,” she said.

This isn’t the first time Rihanna has praised GloRilla. Back in June, Rihanna uploaded a clip of her rapping along to the rapper’s song “TGIF.” Thanks to ASAP Rocky’s comical response to Rihanna rapping along to the anti-relationship sentiments it will live on forever in pop culture. Then in July, Rihanna slid into GloRilla’s direct messages to ask when she would drop her debut studio album.

Well, the ball is in GloRilla’s court. Fans are hoping she takes it to the hole with yet another banger.

Rihanna says that her children, RZA and Riot, are teaching her as much as she’s teaching them. She discussed the kids as well as her experiences with motherhood during an interview with Access Hollywood‘s Scott Evans on Thursday at the launch of a new line for her Savage X Fenty brand.

“It’s fun, I literally, I enjoy it so much,” Rihanna said. “I am just looking at them and living through them and I’m amazed by every new discovery of theirs, even their boundaries. They’re teaching me how to be their mom as much as I’m teaching them how to be in this world and guide them as best as I can.”

From there, Rihanna discussed how her eldest child, RZA, has handled becoming a big brother. “The second that his baby brother cries, he’s there,” she said. “He’s running down, he’s actually crying too. He’s worried. He loves him! It’s just hard to share toys and pacifiers.” She and ASAP Rocky welcomed RZA back in May 2022 as their first child. The two had first confirmed they were dating during an interview in 2021.

That’s what a recent report indicates, saying that her “ninth album is finally on the cusp of being released.” At this point, a new Rihanna album very much falls in “I’ll believe it when I see it” territory, though. What folks have been better able to count on from Rihanna these days is new lingerie.

Indeed, on social media today (August 15), Rihanna shared a revealing set of lingerie photos to show off the new Bold Lace collection from Savage X Fenty (find the post here).

As for the products’ features, the description of the Bold Lace Unlined Plunge Bra reads, “Subtle yet striking. Rihanna was seen baring it all in an off-the-cuff style advertisement for her Savage X Fenty underwear and bra lines. In the short clip, Rihanna is seen walking around in public with her friends wearing a plaid skirt and light blue top. Shortly after strutting her stuff, she decides to give her friends a quick peek at the cheeks. The entrepreneurial icon is going quite viral right now because of it, and its why her brand is so widespread. Since sharing the 22 second clip to X (formerly Twitter) in the early evening yesterday, it has been watched over 46.6 million times, has 334,000 likes, 26,000 reshares, and over 5,000 comments. Also helping this post become so likeable is Rihanna’s relatable caption, “since I clearly won’t be achieving my six pack til next summer, I switched my summer goal to matching my shoes to my panties! 🤷🏿‍♀️”.

Four score and well over seven years ago, Rihanna dropped her critically revered album, Anti. Since then, the “Lift Me Up” singer has slowly but surely ventured into other creative plains. But mainly, her entrepreneurial pursuits via the Fenty empire.

Despite promising on multiple occasions she would drop new music, the Navy (her super fans) are still waiting. But what supporters don’t have to question is Rihanna finding a way to cross promote one of her many companies. Today (July 23), while enjoying a nice summer walk, Rihanna decided to playful moon her friends, which quickly turned into a spontaneous Savage X Fenty photo shoot.

“Since I clearly won’t be achieving my six-pack til next summer, I switched my summer goal to matching my shoes to my panties! 🤷🏿‍♀️,” she wrote.

As she revealed her delicates Rihanna made it clear that Savage X Fenty was on her lower half.

Users online couldn’t contain their thirst for the superstar.

ASAP Rocky and baby RZA are the stars of the latest Savage X Fenty campaign.

In a series of orange-lit shots against a still backdrop, A$AP Rocky showcases Savage X Fenty’s signature boxers, briefs, and tees. In one photo, he carries his son RZA, who wears the brand’s child-sized items, on his shoulders. In another, Rocky faces away from the camera while holding RZA, revealing the word “DAD” braided into his hair. The campaign highlights Savage X Fenty Men’s Packs, featuring sets of boxers, briefs, and tees in three or six units. The label’s jersey tees boast a ribbed crew neck with a regular fit, while the boxers and briefs are made from cotton with ribbed fabric and elastic waistbands.

The Savage X Fenty Classics collection is now available on the brand’s website. Prices start at USD 14.95, and sizes range from XS to 4X.

As Rihanna fans keep waiting for new music, the multi-hyphenate superstar continues to tend to her other ventures. Fenty Beauty recently launched its Soft’Lit Naturally Luminous Foundation, and now Rihanna has dropped a new Savage X Fenty promo video.

In the 15-second clip — which Rihanna captioned “looking for nudes” — shared yesterday (May 5), she models nude lingerie (specifically, the Signature Script Underwire Teddy) from the brand’s Signature Script collection. In a voiceover, she explains, “I was desperate for a nude. Like, I go in between nudes when I get tan or when I’m a little paler. It’s hard to find a nude you can carry through in that range of shades, and I found mine. Signature Script.”

Meanwhile, in a recent interview, Rihanna looked back some some bold fashion choices she’s made, saying, “I’ve done so much sh*t in my life. I’ve had my nipples out, my panties out. But now, those are the things which, I guess as a mom and an evolved young lady — emphasis on ‘young’ — there are things I feel like I would never do. Like, ‘Oh my God, I really did that? Nips out?’”

She also just sparked pregnancy rumors after some people thought they spotted a sneaky maneuver in a video.
