Rising rap sensation Rob49 has released his highly anticipated single “On Sight” via Geffen Records, capping a breakthrough year in hip-hop. Known for his bold, unapologetic style, Rob49 continues his ascent with this latest high-energy track.

Produced by Mac Fly (Sexyy Red, King Von), “On Sight” pairs infectious beats with boisterous lyrics, as Rob49 lays out his swagger-filled intentions to spoil a girl, outshine her man, and live lavishly.

The release follows a string of hits, including “On Dat Money” featuring Cardi B, his standout verse on Monaleo’s “Don Who Leo” remix, and GloRilla’s “Mama” remix. These tracks have firmly positioned Rob49 as one of his generation’s most exciting rap talents.

With “On Sight,” Rob49 closes out the year on a high note, further solidifying his place as a force in the hip-hop landscape.

Rob49 Is Ready To Risk It All On Newest Single “On Sight”

Rob49 is keeping his voice fresh in everyone’s ears this year thanks to “On Sight.” It’s one of five solo cuts he’s put out this year and it’s to help out with the fact he’s yet to drop a project in 2024. We could be due for one in 2025 though given the steadiness at which he’s been releasing. For the most part, these recent records have been sticking to a certain vibe. Lately, Rob49 has been operating in the club bangers lane and “On Sight” is a continuation on that.

In this song’s case, he’s rapping about this girl he’s got his sights set on. The feelings he has are intense, raunchy, and sometimes a little overboard. For example, he raps, “Perkies in your a**, that’s some real Perc’ p**sy, uh (Phew).” It’s easily the most throwaway line on the track. However, besides that, it’s a wavy and high octane cut, even if it only lasts less than two minutes. It’s been another nice year for Rob49, as he’s worked with major players like Lil Wayne, Cardi B, and others. But 2025 could be a big stretch for him, especially if he drops another album.

Mozzy, Kalan.FrFr And Rob49 Turn Up The Heat With “BBL” Single

Mozzy and Kalan.FrFr are both wildly productive artists. They’ve dropped dozens of mixtapes and albums, as both solo artists and collaborators. They always have something in the works. It was only a matter of time before Mozzy and Kalan.FrFr team up on a full length album, and LUCKY HER is right around the corner. The collab album is due out December 20. We’ve yet to get a proper tracklist, but buzz single “BBL” gives us plenty of reasons to be excited for the whole thing.

“BBL” may seem like a riff on the recent trend of BBL surgeries, or the “BBL Drizzy” memes that sprung up during the peak of the Drake vs. Kendrick battle. Mozzy and Kalan.FrFr are using the acronym for an altogether different meaning, though. The duo are rapping about what “bad b*tches like,” and how they have no problem getting it for them. The instrumental is moody and nocturnal, evoking the Bay sound with a hint of the “sexy trap” that people have Cash Cobain have popularized. Rob49 comes in with a memorable guest verse. At the end of the day, though, it’s Mozzy and Kalan.FrFr’s show. We can’t wait for the album.

Let us know what you think of this brand-new track, in the comments section down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. We will continue to keep you informed on all of your favorite artists and their upcoming projects.

Rich The Kid Grabs Rob49 For Extended Version Of “New Chanel Freestyle” Off His Recent Album

During the fairly stacked month of July, Rich The Kid put out his fourth full-length offering, Life’s A Gamble. There was a fair amount of hype behind the release, outside of it being his first solo work in four years. Perhaps the biggest reason is because of Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s involvement over the entire album. The VULTURES creators were credited as executive producers, which is always a benefit. Both have great ears for beats, and they didn’t run of out taste for the Georgia native. One of the best beats Rich The Kid selected was for “New Chanel Freestyle”.

Sure, the track only clocks in at 1:26, but SkipOnDaBeat was really in his bag with this one. The bass, kick drums, and 808s are mean mug worthy and it has an overall intimidating presence when it kicks in. After Rich’s verse ends, it certainly sounds as if there could’ve been another verse. Well, he’s doing exactly that this weekend, but it’s not coming from him. Instead, he brings on Rob49 to tie things together. See how the Louisiana native performs with the audio link below.

I’m in the hood with choppers, boppers and gods (Cut), you a pistol-popper (Yeah)

Rob49 Hypes Up His Girl On “I Swear To God”

Rob49 has built up a reputation amongst the hip-hop community is someone who’s always bouncing off the walls. Whether it be a single, feature, on a project, the Louisiana native doesn’t know what a break is. Not every rapper needs to be super lyrical to keep the listener’s attention. Sometimes, you just need to be able to craft high octane bangers to stay relevant. In the case of Rob49 that couldn’t be truer. Partially thanks to a feature on “TOPIA TWINS” off Travis Scott’s UTOPIA, more ears were able to hear what he’s been developing while in the shadows.

A lot of people liked what they heard because his monthly listeners have steadily increased over the last year. Now, he’s on a lot of major artist’s projects and his singles are popping off more than ever before. “I Swear To God”, the most recent from him, will assuredly gain traction fast. It’s got a blistering and booming beat that maintains the intensity from start to finish. The bells and dramatic strikes of keys add extra flare and Rob49’s flow’s and adlibs are erratic but in a good way. Throughout the song, he’s gassing up his girl who he dubs “the baddest b**** alive”. With the subject matter, the track is sure to thrive at night clubs across the country.

Rob49 Delivers New Single "I Swear to God"

New Orleans rap powerhouse Rob49 is making waves again with his highly-anticipated new single, “I Swear to God.” The track has built viral momentum across social media, sending fans into a frenzy after weeks of teasers. Known for his strong connection with his female fanbase, Rob49 delivers another anthem filled with streetwise swagger and luxury vibes. With lyrics like “pretty b*tch keep her nails did,” “bae let’s go to Saks,” and “keep her wig did,” he taps into what his audience loves.

“I Swear to God” follows a series of successful releases, including his hit collaboration with Cardi B, “On Dat Money,” his feature on Monaleo’s “Don Who Leo” remix, and the remix of “Mama” featuring GloRilla. Each track showcases Rob49’s ability to stay fresh while staying true to his New Orleans roots.

This rising star is set to make history at the Smoothie King Center, where he will join the legendary Hot Boyz for their reunion during the Lil Weezyana Festival. This will be a monumental full-circle moment for Rob49, reinforcing his role as a torchbearer for New Orleans rap and a key voice in hip-hop’s new wave.

Cardi B Teases New Album, While Debut ‘Still Sellin Like Good P****’

Cardi B29

Cardi B wants you to know her album is still selling well despite dropping in 2018. Replying to a tweet from Chart Data showing that Invasion of Privacy sold 500,000 units in 2024, Cardi wrote: “Album still sellin like good quality pussy.”

She would double back, stating, “OKAY, OKAY, let me stop playing and drop this second album.”

While we wait on the album, Rob49 has teamed up with global superstar Cardi B for their electrifying new single and video, “On Dat Money.” This dynamic track highlights the undeniable chemistry between the two artists, poised to take over the charts and playlists worldwide.

“On Dat Money” pays homage to the distinct sounds and styles of the South and East Coast, pushing the boundaries of contemporary hip-hop and bridging the gap between Rob49 and Cardi B’s fanbases. The spitfire record is a testament to their collaborative prowess, blending their unique influences into a cohesive, hard-hitting anthem.

“I’ve been grinding hard all summer, and teaming up with Cardi B on ‘On Dat Money’ is something I’m very excited about,” Rob49 states. “Her talent and energy is unmatched, and this record is going to prove I’m not stopping any time soon.”

The accompanying video, filmed in a lavish New Jersey mansion, features the duo partying it up with dancers, poles, and wads of cash raining down. Directed by George Buford, Frederick Buford, and Directedbyfrankie, the visual captures the high-energy vibe and extravagant lifestyle celebrated in the song.

With its infectious beat and catchy lyrics, “On Dat Money” will become a staple in clubs and airwaves, further cementing Rob49 and Cardi B’s status as powerhouses in the hip-hop industry. Fans can expect this collaboration to dominate the music scene, showcasing the best of both artists and their ability to create magic together.

Lil Wayne Is Bringing Back His Lil Weezyana Fest With Rob49 And A Hot Boys Reunion

Fresh off collaborations with Cordae, DJ Premier, and Jessie Reyez, Lil Wayne has announced the dates and lineup for the return of his music festival, Lil Weezyana Fest, after taking 2023 off.

The Lil Weezyana Festival returns to Smoothie King Center arena on November 2, with performances from Rob49 and Lil Wayne’s former group, Hot Boys. The Hot Boys performance will be the first time the quartet of B.G, Juvenile, Lil Wayne, and Turk have performed as a group since 2003. A reunion of the group was billed for Essence Fest this year, but Wayne ended up performing his own, separate set, to fans’ confusion and chagrin.

The group was disbanded after Juvenile and B.G accused Cash Money Records CEO Birdman of not paying them. Three of the group’s members, B.G, Turk, and Wayne, then spent significant time serving prison sentences for various offenses — mostly surrounding firearms possession charges. Turk was released from prison in October 2012 after serving nine years for being a felon in possession of a firearm and other charges; B.G served 11 years on possession of a firearm and was released last year; Lil Wayne spent the least amount of time in prison for possession and has been the most active member of the group musically since 2011. Juvenile remains the only member who was never incarcerated.

In addition to the Hot Boys reunion, the flyer for Lil Weezyana Fest touts a DJ set from former Cash Money producer Mannie Fresh, as well as “surprise guests,” which have, in the past, included Drake — who could use a strong bounce back after his early 2024 struggles with Kendrick Lamar.

Rob49 Adds GloRilla To His Skilla Baby-Assisted Hit “Mama”

Rob49, Skilla Baby, and GloRilla have all been tearing it up over the last year and change. It feels like each artist has really come into their own and are dropping the best material of their careers so far. Because of their boosts in popularity, it seems like each week they are on a new single or album. In terms of notable accomplishments for each one of them, here’s probably their biggest. For GloRilla, its tough. But ultimately we are going to choose her new mixtape, Ehhthang Ehhthang. It has multiple hits as well as some of her best beat selection to date. For Skilla Baby, it has to be The Coldest. It’s his biggest project with loads of co-signs from some the brightest stars.

Finally, for Rob49, it might have to go to his collaboration with Lil Wayne. Being able to work with a fellow Louisiana legend this early into his career is nothing to sneeze at. All of these milestones are why it makes so much sense for all three of these rappers to come together on one record. That would happen to be Rob49’s hit single, “Mama”, which originally featured Tay B, but now has GloRilla. This means it’s a remix, but a slight one at that. The beat and verses from Rob and Skilla remain intact. The only change is that the Memphis femcee has her own set of bars.

She takes on the role of the women that the two male artists are talking about getting with one the song. It creates a predictable but highly-applicable dynamic. The lines with “dada” in them are funny and add a little bit of extra character to the straight-forward trap banger. You check out the GloRilla “Mama (Remix)” with the link down below.

Woo, I change n****s like a diaper, baby, I can’t go for s***, huh (Huh)
But I can’t lie, it’s cеrtain n****s that I don’t make stand on s***, ooh (Period)
Give mе brain, dada
Don’t call me by my name, dada
Might go buy you that Draco and let you put it in my name, dada (Uh)

Rob49 Drops Highly Anticipated "Mama" Remix Featuring GloRilla

Riding the wave of his explosive 2024 success, Rob49 has released the highly anticipated remix of his track “Mama,” now featuring GRAMMY-nominated recording artist GloRilla. This follows his recent collaboration with Cardi B on the hard-hitting single “On Dat Money,” solidifying his position as one of the hottest new artists in the game.

The “Mama” remix has been generating major buzz on social media, with fans clamoring for its release ever since Rob49 first teased the track over six months ago. This anticipation has now reached its peak as the remix is finally available, promising to deliver the dynamic sound that Rob49 is known for, enhanced by GloRilla’s powerful performance.

Rob49’s momentum has been unstoppable this year.
