Juicy J Promises 7 Albums Next Year, Seemingly Hints At Retirement

Juicy J has revealed that he plans to release seven albums in 2024. “I got about 7 albums I’m dropping 2024 I never worked this hard in my life,” the iconic rapper and producer wrote on X, formerly Twitter. However, he also lowkey hinted that he would be retiring after such a packed release schedule. “After this I’m gonna buy a house on the beach let my hair grow all the way out & become a full time hippie [trophy emoji] ya dig?” his post continued.

While Juicy released the mixtape Mental Trillness earlier this year, he hasn’t dropped a full album since 2020. The Hustle Continues peaked at #68 on the Billboard Album 200, a major jump from 2017’s Rubba Band Business, which barely charted at #191. However, few of Juicy’s solo projects have made much of a chart impact. His best solo project by far was 2013’s Stay Trippy. That peaked at #4 while also topping the US Rap album chart.

Juicy J Expresses Concern About The State Of Rap

Juicy’s plan to release seven albums next year comes after he expressed concern about the state of the music industry. Last month, Juicy proposed drastic measures to combat a decline in rap sales. “I don’t a lot of people don’t want to hear this, but rap music is down 40%. Check the charts. Check the math. What are we, as rappers, producers, composers, going to do about this shit. Because it’s down 40% this year. Do your research. This is a fact,” Juicy noted.

His solution was to host a roundtable of rap’s brightest minds. “Let’s have a conversation. What are we gonna do? We gotta figure some shit out. We gotta sit down and talk. Let’s have a meeting, let’s meet up somewhere and have a big ass f-cking meeting. Let’s talk about this sh-t, how we can turn this sh-t around. Because this is how we eat. This is how we make money,” he suggested. However, the industry will have to wait until next year to see if Juicy’s mammoth release schedule can help fix the problem he perceives in the business.

Logan Paul’s Boxing Retirement Disputed By Brother Jake

Jake Paul has disputed his brother Logan’s seeming retirement from boxing. “I don’t believe that. I don’t know when he’ll fight but he’s just got so much fight in him and he’s going into his athletic prime. I think he’s going to fight again for sure,” Jake told The MMA Hour.

Logan announced his retirement earlier this week during an interview on Fox. “Yeah, I think I’ve retired from boxing. I think I’ve done enough in the sport, going fully undefeated at 25-0. So yeah, I’m gonna be a wrestler now. No more money in boxing. Every company is going broke, so [I’m] a full-time wrestler,” Logan told the show. It echoes comments that Logan made after he won the WWE US Championship. “I think I have to,” Paul said of spending more time on WWE programming. “You’re going to have to watch Raw. You’re going to have to watch SmackDown. I’m going to make some surprise appearances and show these wrestlers who’s the real king,” Paul told ESPN.

Jake Paul Praised For Expanding Boxing’s Audience

Meanwhile, boxing legend and Olympic gold medalist Andre Ward gave high praise for Jake Paul during a recent interview on TMZ. “I don’t hate on it. The crossover stuff like what Jake Paul, Logan [Paul]is doing, [Francis] Ngannou just did, I respect it. That takes a lot of courage, takes a lot of heart. It actually brings a new audience, more eyeballs,” Ward said, “and if the fanbase follows them over to boxing, then more power to ’em. I’m a fan of it, I appreciate it and I watch it.” Ward said. Furthermore, he noted that he would be open to taking on one of the Paul Brothers in an exhibition fight.

The rise of non-traditional boxing has been a mixed bag. Jake Paul has talent but little desire to fight actual boxers. Logan is more interested in pursuing his wrestling career than in boxing. Furthermore, both his fight with Dillon Danis and KSI’s fight with Tommy Fury was referred to as a “disgrace to boxing”. However, then you have Francis Ngannou giving Tyson Fury “the toughest fight in a decade” and even receiving a WBC ranking out of it.

Lil Uzi Vert Reveals Retirement Plans

Lil Uzi Vert is an artist who has been known to make fans rip their hair out. Overall, this is because Uzi frequently promises new music and does not deliver. For instance, they recently said an album called Barter 16 was on the horizon. This was supposed to be a tribute album to Young Thug. However, all of these weeks later, the album has yet to be released. In the eyes of many fans, this is a project that will never come out. Instead, they have set their sights on Luv Is Rage 3, which seems to be more viable.

As it stands, Uzi is currently on the Pink Tape Tour where they have been performing in front of sell-out crowds. It has been a truly amazing tour thus far, and fans have been enjoying themselves. However, the latest piece of news to come out of the tour is not going to impress people. Below, you can see that Uzi is detailing their retirement plans. Essentially, once Luv Is Rage 3 drops, they will go on tour and will never be seen again after that.

Lil Uzi Vert Has It Figured Out

Luv Is Rage 3 will be my last album,” Uzi explained. “No, relax. It’s okay […] After Luv Is Rage 3, I guess I will go on another tour for Luv Is Rage 3. But after that, I wanna try to live a normal life.” This may not be the most ideal news, however, it is easy to understand why the artist would want to go in this direction. After all, touring and making albums can be incredibly difficult. Moreover, when you are as famous as Uzi, sometimes, you can get extremely tired of the daily grind.

Considering this news, it remains to be seen when Luv Is Rage 3 will eventually come out. Let us know your expectations for the project, in the comments section below. Andre Iguodala Retires After 19 NBA Seasons

Andre Iguodala has officially retired from the NBA after 19 seasons. “Time started to get limited for me and I didn’t want to put anything in the back seat. I didn’t want to have to try to delegate time anymore. Especially with on the court, off the court with family. A lot. You want to play at a high level. But then family is a lot. My son is 16 and then two girls. So, [I’m] looking forward to seeing them grow up in those important years,” Iguodala told Marc J. Spears of Andscape.

Iguodala was drafted 9th overall by the Sixers in 2004 following two seasons of college ball at Arizona. He stayed in Philly until 2012 before being traded to the Nuggets. However, Iguodala’s most successful tenure would come in a six-year tenure with the Warriors. After signing with Golden State in 2013, Iguodala became a core member of the team’s late 2010s dynasty. He won four rings alongside Draymond Green and the Splash Brothers. He was a free agent at the time of his retirement, having been released by the Warriors after a second stint with the team between 2021 and 2023.

Iguodala’s Retirement Confirms LeBron As League’s Oldest Active Player

With Iguodala officially out of the league, LeBron James stands as the league’s oldest active player. James will turn 39 a few months into his 21st NBA season. That makes him just the seventh player to reach his 21st season. LeBron being LeBron, he had the perfect reaction when told the news earlier this month. After being asked for his reaction to being the oldest player in the league at a Lakers practice, LeBron briefly screamed before sprinting down the court and smoothly dunking.

Furthermore, James isn’t treating this like his final year. He will most likely join Vince Carter as the only players to play 22 seasons thanks to his desire to play at least one season with his son Bronny. With Bronny eligible for the 2024 draft, LeBron will likely hit that historic milestone. However, the question will be if it happens with the Lakers or elsewhere in the NBA.

Drake Trolls Miami Fans About His Retirement: “I’m Thinking About Leaving Music Behind”

It’s been an eventful run for Drake on the It’s All A Blur tour. Joined by 21 Savage, the Canadian rapper has hit city-to-city across North America for the first time in five years. Each night of the tour is marked by special guests, giveaways, and a catalog of his greatest hits that go back to 2010. However, after releasing about four albums in a little over two years and building an empire, you could imagine that he probably needs a break at some point soon.

During his show in Miami on Saturday (Sept. 30), the rapper jokingly told the crowd that he was about to hang up the microphone for good. “This might be my last show ever because I’m thinking of leaving music behind,” he said before making it clear that he was only kidding. “I’m f**king with you! I’m f**king with you!” Still, it seems like the idea of retirement has been mulling in his mind for a while.

Although he told the crowd in Miami that it was just a joke, he’s previously discussed the possibilities of retirement in the past. During an interview with Lil Yachty, Drake recalled a time when he thought he would retire by 35. However, the thought of a “graceful exit” has been lingering in the mind of the 36-year-old rapper. “I think I’m at the point now where I just wanna like — I feel like maybe we talked about this the other day. I feel like I’m kinda introducing the concept in my mind of a graceful exit,” he said.

The rapper is currently gearing up for his final dates on the It’s All A Blur tour with 21 Savage. The Canadian rapper will perform back-to-back shows in Toronto, ON this weekend. Before that, he’ll host an episode of Table For One on Thursday night ahead of For All The Dogs‘ release. Presumably, he’ll debut the album on his Sirius XM channel. Check out Drake’s comments in Miami above.

Dr. Dre Divulges On When He Contemplated Retirement From Music

One of the West Coast’s biggest rap icons of all time, Dr. Dre, recently revealed that he was going to call it quits. This all took place back in 1992, around the release of one of the greatest rap albums of all time, The Chronic. Where did Dre talk about this? Well, you can find it in LL Cool J’s new book that has just been released to the public. With the 50th anniversary of hip-hop being celebrated this year, LL wanted to commemorate it with a new book. Many publications and events have paid homage to this incredible five-decade-long run of culture and music, but this might be the most special one of all.

HipHopDX says that the title of the new work is The Streets Win: 50 Years of Hip Hop Greatness. What is also really cool about this title is that LL included entries from plenty of legends in the game. You can find stories from Eminem, Nas, Snoop Dogg, A Tribe Called Quest, and plenty more. One of them was Dr. Dre and he spoke very candidly about the crossroads he faced.

Dre felt his creativity was stagnating and after the label refused to pay him, it all started to unravel for him. “Eazy-E and Jerry Heller were trying to starve me out and refused to pay the money they owed me. I was driving on the 101 freeway headed to the studio and, on that drive, I was thinking about quitting.” However, something awoke inside of him. About a week had passed and he began finding a rhythm and it just clicked for him. After all of that learning and deep thinking, Dre thinks this moment changed his life forever. “At this point in my life, I see the value of surrounding myself with people who push me forward. I don’t want to be around anyone I can’t learn something from.”

What are your initial thoughts on Dr. Dre saying he would have retired from music back in the early 90s? How much do you think it would have affected the rap world? Out of all of Dre’s songs which one is your favorite of his? We want to hear what you have to say about all of this. With that in mind, be sure to leave all of your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below. Childish Gambino Won’t Be Retiring Any Time Soon

It looks like Childish Gambino will release new music in the near future. Donald Glover has been quite busy in recent times with a number of projects in film and television. He finally closed out Atlanta last year following four seasons and launched Swarm, a new limited series that debuted on Amazon Prime. In the midst of it all, fans have wondered whether they’d be getting new music from Childish Gambino.

Fortunately, Glover confirmed the news in a new interview with Complex. Without giving too much away, he denied that he’d be retiring his alter-ego any time soon and plotted on the release of new music in the near future. “I feel like it’ll be clear sooner rather than later,” he said about the release of new music. “It’d be better for people to just tune in, I suppose. But I’m trying harder to not be cryptic. Tyler [The Creator] is always, like, ‘You’re so cryptic.’ But I’m like, ‘I’m really not.’ I just like suspense, I guess. I think it makes stuff better. But that’s just me.”

In 2017, Donald Glover hinted that he’d be releasing a final album under the Childish Gambino moniker. However, after the release of 3.15.20, he confirmed that wasn’t the case yet. Fortunately, he made it clear to Complex that he’d continue to make music while citing a famous clip of Cam’ron. “[Cam’ron] says, ‘Man, I do this because I’m nice. I don’t need the money. I do this because I’m nice, man,’” Glover recalled.

“And I’m like, yeah, I do this because I’m nice,” he continued. “I don’t think I’d ever stop, because of like… I always liked it because I liked it. I never did it because it was like, man, this is a good way to get put on or something. I like the feeling of it. I do this because I’m nice. In a certain way, I think that makes me old school.” We’ll keep you posted on anymore updates surrounding Childish Gambino.

Tyreek Hill Reveals Surprising NSFW Plan For Life After The NFL

Tyreek Hill has been open about how he plans to retire from the NFL after the 2025 season. However, Hill recently raised a lot of eyebrows by revealing what he plans to do after he exits the league. “When I retire, bro, I really wanna be a porn star, bro. Like, dead serious,” Hill told Tampa Bay wideout Mike Evans during a recent livestream.

Hill has made no secret about his intentions to leave the league after the 2025 season. The star wideout will be 32 following Super Bowl 60 in February 2026, which will mark the end of the 2025 season. “I’m going for 10, man. I’m gonna finish out this contract with the Dolphins and then I’m gonna call it quits. I want to go into the business side. I want to do so many things in my life, bro,” Hill said in a radio interview earlier this year. Hill is in his second year with the Dolphins and already has 412 yards through three games. If he can avoid injury and keep up his connection with Tua Tagovailoa, he is well on his way to his fourth consecutive 1000-yard season.

Hill Latest NFL Icon To Look Toward NSFW Content

However, Hill is not the first NFL player who has been linked with the porn industry. Gardner Minshew has carved out a niche as a standout backup quarterback. Despite this, people are also drawn to his iconic swamp life aesthetic and the 70s pornstache that he proudly rocks. Soon after he was drafted, camming site CamSoda reportedly offered Minshew a $1 million endorsement deal. This was based on Minshew’s reported exercise regime that earned him the nickname “Jock Strap King”.

Meanwhile, retired NFL legend Chad Johnson recently revealed he was a stripper in college. “I used to strip at The Right Track. I used to be a dancer. I could tell you cause we family. 1997, I was in LA. My mom was out there but I really couldn’t live with my mama, so I had a place in Santa Monica. Sometimes I was short on my light bill. Them candles, light em. I used to strip. I used to be a dancer. If anybody in the chat is from LA that’s a little bit older, I used to strip at The Right Track. I bullshit you not,” Johnson said on a recent livestream.

Jets Head Coach Confident Aaron Rodgers Won’t Retire Over Injury

Robert Salah has doubled down on his belief that Aaron Rodgers will return to the team for the 2024 season. “I’d be shocked if this is the way he’s going to go out,” Salah said when asked if he was worried Rodgers may retire. “[Aaron is] working through a whole lot of headspace things that he needs to deal with, and that will be the last thing I talk to him about.” However, Salah did give some crucial updates on the situation. Rodgers is yet to schedule surgery to repair his torn Achilles. Instead, the veteran QB is “[receiving] consultations, trying to figure out what his next best move is.”

However, Salah did express hope that Rodgers would return to the team this season in an advisory capacity. He had now-starter Zach Wilson have developed a close relationship in recent months, according to Salah. “I think it’s very important. It’s important for him. For him, I think it’s the mental health and healing. I think that’s very important. But his presence, his words. … I said he’s as much a football coach as he is a player. Just having his presence, his thoughts, his words and his leadership, anybody would want that.”

Jets, Wilson To Focus On Cowboys

As mentioned, the Jets have named Zach Wilson, their starter for the past two seasons, QB1 going forward. The question is how long that will remain the case. The Jets will remain a playoff contender for the time being. However, Rodgers was the guy they saw as the missing piece. They have missed the playoffs both years that Wilson has been the starter. Furthermore, despite beating the Bills in Week 1, the road only gets harder from here.

Wilson’s first start of 2023 will be against the Cowboys, who come off a 40-0 win over the Giants. While Robert Salah and company seem confident in Wilson, that could all change next week. After all, Salah had no qualms about benching Wilson to end the 2022 season. Unfortunately, it looks like it might be another season of pain for the Jets corner of East Rutherford. That is unless the Mormon MILF Hunter has one of the greatest turnarounds we have ever seen from a quarterback.
