Back in 2020, the father of her first child, Jai Wiggins, passed away as a result of a shooting. In the past, she’s admitted to feeling as though she never got the opportunity to properly mourn the loss due to her busy career. Now, however, she’s looking back on his life in honor of the fourth anniversary of his death.
She took to her Instagram Story today to share some photos of her late ex posing alongside her son. “4 yrs wow,” she wrote, adding a series of crying and broken-hearted emojis. She also shared a heartfelt Tweet about the anniversary, looking back on the tragic events that took place just before her son turned seven.
“It’s been 4 yrs since my bd passed he died 2 weeks before my son 7th birthday my son turning 11 in 2 weeks ahhhhh,” she wrote. “I’m trying not to cry today but the rain is not making it no better.” Of course, countless fans are empathizing with the femcee as she reflects on the heartbreaking loss, and sending their condolences. This isn’t the first time supporters have seen Yung Miami express sadness over Jai’s passing, however.
In 2022, she shared an emotional post about his death, praising him for being a wonderful father to their son. “You & Jai is peanut butter & jelly always together one thing about you, you don’t play about your son! Aside from battling over custody of their young daughter, Mai accused her former partner of domestic violence in court documents obtained by The Shade Room in April. In March, Cher shared with E! News that she was working on some music with AE. She stated: “I’m going to England to make two albums. Some of the songs, Alexander gave me, so I’m pretty excited about that. He’s a producer and a writer and he does everything, so I’m happy about that.” The support for the couple’s relationship was growing by the day.

Julia Fox says that her relationship with Kanye West was a “blessing” and explained what she learned from the iconic rapper during a recent interview with The New York Times. She says that he inspired her to take more creative control back from her team and in turn, she says she’s her “own muse” now.
“You know, it was actually a blessing that he came into my life,” Fox said. “He kind of shook up my team in a way where a lot of the creative control was then given back to me. Fox previously reflected positively on some aspects of her brief relationship with West during an interview with BBC. She explained: “I chose to turn a blind eye because it was fun, and exciting, and shiny, and you know just new. Kodak Black’s baby mama drama just got a whole lot more complicated, as authorities reportedly arrested the mother of two of his kids, Maranda Johnson, for allegedly jumping his first baby mother Jammiah “Maya” Broomfield. Specifically, the reported charges are battery, burglary, and grand theft, and follows Johnson threatening Broomfield and Kodak online as well as smashing his car windows. If you recall, this incident occurred because the rapper was with Broomfield and their son the other day. Seems like everyone involved has some issues to sort out. Hopefully they do so soon for the sake of the families, because seeing things go to these lengths can be scary.
Furthermore, this comes amid a pretty interesting time for Kodak Black, who’s not dealing with many legal issues right now and seems in a much better place. As such, we hope that the patience and positive energies are there to handle this combative situation as well as possible. But in addition to this being a more tranquil time for the Florida MC, he’s also got a lot more to develop when it comes to his next career moves and how he will grow throughout the decade. For example, he just put out a new compilation album featuring the next iteration of his Sniper Gang label, and seeing him in a more curation-based role is promising.
Elsewhere, some other Kodak Black-related beef, the one with Boosie Badazz, is one that the Baton Rouge artist wouldn’t necessarily categorize as such. Moreover, Boosie told DJ Vlad during his latest VladTV interview that he doesn’t really see his personal and social media issues with Kodak as “rap beef,” per se. The same goes for his feud with NBA YoungBoy, as he thinks that these spats and situations are pretty casual and aren’t indicative of any real issues. Even though Badazz does have a partial “diss track” for Yak in “Grateful,” he doesn’t see it as such since it’s not all directed at him.
Meanwhile, hopefully all these family issues sort out, because Kodak Black always looks happy and healthy when he’s around his loved ones. Take this with a grain of salt, though, as there isn’t a whole lot of other information out there concerning this supposed arrest. No matter what it leads to, we hope this can set some more ground rules and stipulations to avoid this kind of conflict in the future. Will they work? We’ll see.

They purchased the Beverly Hills mansion a little over a year ago after initially reconciling back in 2021, 20 years after they first met. Their relationship appeared to take a turn for the worse when Lopez attended the Met Gala without her partner. From there, Affleck attended Netflix’s roast of Tom Brady in Los Angeles. Afterward, sources close to the couple began mentioning marital woes. “Jen and Ben are having issues in their marriage,” a source told Us Weekly. “They started having issues a few months ago as Jen had started ramping up work commitments and prepping for her tour. Jen is very focused on work. They are on two completely different pages most of the time.” PEOPLE also reported that Lopez’s tour rehearsals were preventing the couple from spending enough time together. “They’re still living separately,” a source close to Lopez told the outlet. “She’s back in L.A. for tour rehearsals. She seems okay. She’s very focused on work.”

Ally Lotti is once again facing the wrath of the Juice WRLD fanbase for allegedly selling a sex tape online featuring her and her late rapper boo. Of course, since the sources for this information mostly come from social media screenshots without checking Lotti’s page, take it with a grain of salt, but understand that this headline should seem familiar to you. There have been plenty of previous cases of the Chicago artist’s audience speaking on not just how his former partner has used and engaged with his legacy, but on how everyone close to his life has squandered his posthumous recognition.
For example, Ally Lotti previously caught flack earlier this year for allegedly selling some of Juice WRLD’s dreads and bodily fluids. You can imagine how disgusted some fans were, not just physically in terms of how gross it sounds but in terms of how she could make massive profits off of his items through exploiting fan obsession rather than preserving these belongings. However, some might argue that it’s more intimate and connected for fans to be so “close” to an artist rather than look at them through museum glass. But it’s clear that Juice’s likeness and career hasn’t really been respected and preserved as much as it probably should.
Apart from the Ally Lotti controversies, Juice WRLD’s team allegedly fumbled a Kid Cudi collaboration according to Mr. Rager, and there have been much more controversial questions about how management and loved ones released posthumous material in bulk. It’s sad to see disputes like this happen, but it’s small in the face of his impact. The “Burn” creative continues to resonate with young and old audiences alike, and he remains a beloved innovator from the 2010s and beyond. In fact, we might not fully understand the breadth of his influence yet.
Meanwhile, there are other ways in which Juice WRLD’s legacy manifested in heartening and positive ways for not just his family and loved ones, but for the wider fanbase. For one, his mother launched a crisis text line centered around mental health issues to provide prompt, empathetic, and professional assistance amid emergencies. Juice is one of many artists who sadly represents the importance of these mental health conversations. For example, Bianca Censori recently went on a solo Australian trip to meet with her family, and it seems like they just hung out casually without much spectacle. It must feel quite different to the onslaught of paparazzi, fans, and the like that badger Kanye West and Bianca all over the world, but particularly in the United States. As such, a break every once in a while must be pretty satisfying.

At no point was Jay ever physically, mentally or emotionally abusive to his children or I.”

She went on to call Jeezy “one of the most peaceful people” she had ever met, despite their own past legal issues. In 2020, Mahi sued her ex for allegedly failing to pay the court-ordered $10K per month for their daughter. Mahi isn’t the only one to come to his defense, however. Jeezy and Mai’s nanny Minhee Hoffler also filed a sworn affidavit, in which she had nothing but good things to say about his parenting.
