Michael B. Jordan Explains What He Learned From Lori Harvey Breakup

He touched on the end of his high-profile relationship on Saturday Night Live, but Michael B. Jordan is addressing it once again. Last summer, Lori Harvey and Jordan announced their split after a year of dating. They kept their romance under wraps, aside from the occasional social media post, but Jordan is speaking on what life has been like as a single man once again.

“I mean, I think for me, it’s just I was lucky enough to have a lot of work, you know?” Jordan told Gayle King for CBS Mornings. “And I’m a firm believer of what’s for you is for you. And coming out of that situation—not to give it any energy and kinda move from that is—it was an experience for me to grow and learn.”

Additionally, it doesn’t look like he’s pining over his ex. “I’m in my light right now,” he added. “This is my Jordan year. I mean that. This is my year. There’s so much going on—so many blessings, so many great things. This is at a point in my career where there’s not a lot of people telling me no, and everything’s wide open.”

While hosting Saturday Night Live last month, Jordan joked about the split during his opening monologue. “Most people after a breakup are like, ‘I’m gonna get in better shape.’ But I was already in Creed shape,” he teased. “So, I had to be like, ‘All right, I guess I’ll learn a new language.’ Anyway, estoy en Raya.”

Halle Bailey’s Sister Ski Apologizes After Calling Out DDG

A tweet by DDG set the internet on fire after people believed he was shading Halle Bailey. The couple has been going strong for some time, often sharing bits of their romance with fans. However, yesterday (February 7), DDG tweeted, “All these girls the same,” causing a firestorm of reactions. People quickly attributed the message to The Little Mermaid star, and rumors of a breakup soon followed. The controversy elicited a reaction from Ski Bailey, Halle’s older sister.

In a video, Ski seemed perturbed by seeing Halle’s name as a hot topic. Then, she directly addressed DDG and let him know her sister isn’t to be messed with, especially publicly. “Halle’s not like the ones that you been with,” Ski said in her video. “You will not treat her the way that you’ve treated these others. I don’t give a freak if y’all had issues going on. That’s what you won’t do. Please understand that.”

“Like, you’re not gonna do her the way that you did everybody else,” Ski continued. “You’re not gonna come to social media and try to put her on blast and insinuate or put something out that make it seem like she was doing something that she wasn’t doing. You need to pipe down and get yourself together. If y’all broke up then you need to just unfollow and just keep it pushin’. You don’t have to put nothin’ out there like that. Talkin’ about, ‘All these girls is the same.’ Are you dumb? Are you stupid?”

After her clip circulated online, Ski returned with an update. It seemed that she spoke with Halle and got the inside information as to what was going on behind the scenes. “My bad y’all. I spoke to sis and ain’t nothing going on lol,” she wrote. “Let me go back to drinking my water and minding the business that pays me.”

Still, the status of DDG and Halle’s relationship is unclear. Neither has addressed breakup rumors, but Ski’s update has made fans believe that whatever happened may have been reconciled. Despite sharing tender moments with the masses, DDG and Bailey were a private couple. They didn’t let the world into too many of their intimate moments, but when they did, they boasted about one another. Back in November, the rapper visited The Breakfast Club and detailed why he was so taken with Bailey.

“I’ve never been with nobody that’s like really motivated me like she do,” he said at the time. “I’m seeing different sh*t. I ain’t really been around this type of sh*t before. In the past year, Leonardo DiCaprio’s dating history has been under the microscope. Though he was once considered a Hollywood heartthrob, his history of dating significantly younger women raised red flags. Most recently, 19-year-old model Edan Polani became swooped into speculation surrounding Leo’s dating life.

The rumors began spreading last week after the two attended Ebony Riley’s EP release party in Los Angeles. The two sat next to each other, which was enough ammo for the Internet to run with the rumors. Twitter came through with numerous takes, some humorous, others filled with concern. “people are hard on Leonardo DiCaprio but the reason he’s so invested in climate change is because he cares more about the younger generation than most people his age,” one user wrote. Another stated, “Leonardo DiCaprio’s girlfriend is so young her high school experience was interrupted by COVID 19.”

Needless to say, the rumors rapidly spread to the point where a source close to the actor intervened. Per TMZ, Leonardo DiCaprio is not dating Edan Polani whatsoever. The two only sat next to each other at the release party, hanging out with the same group. The source emphasized that just because you might see Leo seated or talking to another woman, it doesn’t mean they’re dating. 

Though this dispels the rumors surrounding Leo and Edan, the 48-year-old actor still has a history of dating younger women. After splitting from Camilla Morrone, 25, after four years together, paps spotted him with several other 20-something-year-old models. Gigi Hadid, 27, and Victoria Lamas, 23, became romantically linked to Leonardo DiCaprio in recent times. However, a source close to Leonardo DiCaprio said that he’s still single. They added that enjoying his life as a bachelor, which is as evident as his recent yachting trip in St. Barts.

Leo’s dating patterns became the center of rumors last summer, prompting his ex from the 90s, 48-year-old model Kristen Zang, to respond. Following his breakup with Morrone, Zang slammed claims of the age gap between DiCaprio and his recent girlfriends. “… When I read the headlines and online comments with his most recent ex girlfriend being referred to as having “aged out” or being “too old for Leo at 25,” puh-lease (insert dramatic eye roll). During a recent interview with Emily Ratajkowski on the High Low podcast, she explained that she rather speak to her son about things like her OnlyFans page and stripping rather than learn it from the internet. “Your son, by the time he’s 5, is going to start Googling you and seeing everything,” she said. It’s an inevitable outcome for someone of her stature, especially among young boys. 

She later revealed that one her Sebastian’s classmates told him about her OnlyFans account. “I had a whole conversation with him about it,” she recalled. “I said that whoever told him that, their parents are ignorant because obviously, he got it from his parents.” Additionally, she said that her transparency with Sebastian provides him with an understanding of how she ensures he’s living comfortably. “When it comes to women, you have to let women do what they need to do to support their families,” she recalled telling him. She said that her work on OnlyFans allowed him to attend private school, go on nice vacations, and visit places like Six Flags.

Evidently, these conversations have had a positive effect on Sebastian. She revealed that her son called out one of his friends who bashed OnlyFans creators in a car ride. “‘Bro, you can’t say that,’” Seb told his friend, Rose recalled. “‘You have to let a woman do what she wants with her body. That’s not cool. You can’t do that.’” 

Despite the backlash she frequently faces in the public eye for his opinions, she explained that she was tearful at his response. “A tear rolled down my cheek. I was like, ‘That’s my f–king baby.’ I instilled that in him from birth,” she recalled of her reaction. 

Elsewhere in the interview, she also stated that she educated Sebastian on periods as early as 2 years old. “Anytime I use the bathroom [since] my son was 2, 3 years old, he’ll be like, ‘Mommy, do you need a tampon? Internet sleuths believe there is trouble in paradise between Megan Thee Stallion and Pardison Fontaine. The Hip Hop pair has been dating for some time, often flaunting their romance on social media. Meanwhile, Fontaine was noticeably silent during the trial. He did, however, surface around the conclusion to pen a note about victims of abuse. “To any woman especially ones of color that has suffered an injustice I feel for you. When you do find the courage to speak up.. it seems you will be ridiculed. Your credibility will [be] questioned.. your entire past will be held under a magnifying glass. In an instant you can go from victim to defendant in the eyes of the public.”

He added, “To any one with a daughter sister mother niece or aunt.. I pray for their protection, I pray for their covering, I wouldn’t wish this on anyone.” Since then, the public hasn’t heard much from Megan or her boyfriend. On the stand during the Lanez trial, Megan hinted at what life was like behind closed doors.

Those allegations have proven to be true in recent months. While he and his ex were able to finalize their separation a few days ago, the other woman in his life is venting her frustrations about the situation on social media. In a recent upload, she reflected on the pain of finding herself pregnant with Ne-Yo’s baby while he was married to someone else.

Recently, @itsbigsade shared maternity photos on her feed, along with a lengthy message airing out her feelings. “Angel of mine,” she began. “Coming to terms with the delicate circumstances. When I felt like I just couldn’t take on another load, especially at the expense of another person’s happiness… Sometimes even my own… Wasn’t the easiest decision.”

“However, I have to choose me,” the expecting mother went on. “Therefore, I have to choose you. The JOY Braiden gives me every day strengthened me and let me know I can do this gracefully.” She adds that her intention is to go through pregnancy with “love, compassion, and penitence” for her wrongdoing.

In conclusion, Sade says she’s patiently waiting for her little one’s arrival and is ready for the journey they’ll go on together. Additionally, she acknowledged that plenty of lessons and blessings lay ahead for them both. “I can’t wait to meet you my buttercup!! xoxo MOMMY.”

At this time, it remains unclear if Ne-Yo plans to play an active role in his new child’s life. One of the biggest celebrity weddings we witnessed in 2022 was undoubtedly between Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez. They tied the knot in a stunning Georgia ceremony, and since then, have been enjoying life together as newlyweds.

While the Gone Girl star works primarily in the film industry, his multi-talented wife dabbles in both acting and music. Seeing as she’s had a generally successful career as a singer, Lopez was invited to attend Sunday’s (February 5) Grammy Awards as a presenter. Much to the audience’s avail, her husband chiefly tagged along as her date for the evening.

The newlyweds didn’t walk the star-studded red carpet, but the Hustlers starlet did make her debut on stage early on. She handed out the first trophy of the night, specifically for Best Pop Vocal Album to Harry Styles and his Harry’s House effort. Unfortunately for Affleck, his wife obviously wasn’t able to leave after carrying out her role.

Several times throughout the undeniably lengthy award ceremony, cameras panned to the 50-year-old looking increasingly bored. Whether watching Stevie Wonder perform “Higher Ground,” or simply soaking in the presence of other celebrities, the look on his face reads as though he’d rather be anywhere else than at the Grammys.

Unsurprisingly, Twitter users are explicitly having a field day making memes of Affleck’s expression. Some pointed out that it’s sad to see him looking so miserable in the presence of his dream girl – especially now that he’s finally married her. Others, however, find it comedic that the father of three is so often caught on camera looking miserable.
