Yo Gotti Praised For Answering Angela Simmons’ Call Mid-Interview

It’s no secret that Angela Simmons has long been the object of Yo Gotti’s affection. Now that he’s finally lucky enough to call the black-haired beauty his girlfriend, there’s no way he’ll risk losing her. The pair have spent much of their summer travelling around the globe and posing for photos in beautiful locations like Greece and Dubai. Even when they’re not in each other’s company due to their busy schedules, Angela and her rapper beau manage to stay connected throughout the day.

During a recent interview with Power 106‘s Justin Credible, Gotti was answering questions when he noticed an incoming call that he couldn’t help but pick up. “Do you wanna take that?” the host asked as the Southern star paused mid-sentence. “Yeah,” he replied before letting Simmons know that he’s in the midst of a work obligation. Though the lovers’ interaction was short and not particularly loving, the smile on Gotti’s face afterward proves that even just hearing from his girl brightens his day.

“That was shorty,” he told Justin. “I wanted to say hi,” the radio personality admitted nervously. “You should’ve,” the 42-year-old teased his friend before they agreed to call Simmons back. “Yo, my boy Justin Credible interviewing me and wanted to speak to you,” Yo tells his girl. “I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself, definitely a fan,” the Power 106 icon gushed to Gotti’s other half.

Gotti first professed his adorating for Angela Simmons on “Down in the DM” nearly a decade ago. On his most recent project, a Gangsta Grillz sequel, the CMG head once again showed love to the shoe designer – now his girlfriend – in both a song and music video. Kanye West has become notoriously known for mean mugging the cameras, but when he’s got Bianca Censori by his side, we hardly see the 46-year-old without a smile on his face. So far, they’ve been spending the month of August overseas in Italy, where their obscure outfits continue to make headlines back home in America. The Yeezus rapper has been foregoing shoes in favour of touching grass – or cobblestone – with his bare feet. His wife has been implementing plenty of pantyhose into her wardrobe, and even freeing the nipple with sheer tops on more than one occasion.

We saw them out on Monday (August 7), getting cozy ahead of Ye’s surprise appearance at Travis Scott’s Circus Maximus performance. Since then, a video of them enjoying a luxurious Italian dinner with close friends is also making rounds online. Rather than listening to the latest music arrivals with their meal, the group decided to go back in time with the Black Eyed Peas’ 2009 hit, “I Gotta Feeling.” Several of them got up out of their chairs to dance and sing along, including West and Censori.

HBO Max Drops Documentary On Kanye West & Kim Kardashian’s Divorce

As if Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s divorce wasn’t enough of a pop culture gossip rabbit hole, now we have a documentary to add to that firestorm. Moreover, HBO Max just dropped a two-part documentary series on it called “Kim vs. Kanye: The Divorce.” Fans’ reaction was swift, unfiltered, somewhat shocked, and easily summarized by one question: Who on Earth asked for this? Furthermore, each part seems to focus on a different side of the legal battle, which people took certain issue with. Whoever they “support” in that debacle will get the short end of the stick, they believe, and thus probably won’t tune in.

In addition, at least from the looks of it, it’s not like this is an in-depth view on both parties. Kim and Kanye don’t seem to appear in it, nor do any people close to their past relationship. Instead, it’s a bunch of talking heads in the trailers that represented them in the divorce, from what advertisements indicate. As such, many questioned why this documentary was made in the first place. Maybe it’s for the money and engagement (well, that’s obviously a big factor), or perhaps they just unearthed some truly staggering information on it.

“Kim Vs. Kanye: The Divorce” Trailer

Still, both Kim and Kanye are moving on with their lives in their own ways, so revisiting this seems voyeuristic at best and exploitative at worst. Sure, it’s not like the path post-divorce was clean at all, but even that was a long time ago in Internet time. After all, the Chicago rapper married someone else, and the SKIMS mogul moved on with her dating life, her co-parented family (as did Ye), and beyond. Things have been far from perfect, but another media spectacle on them surely won’t help them at all.

Meanwhile, it will be interesting to see whether people hate-watch this or if it genuinely gives some compelling insight. In any case, it seems like discussion around the documentary itself will overtake discourse on the actual divorce these days. Most likely, though, it will be a small piece of a much larger puzzle that will stay in people’s minds more. Blueface and Chrisean Rock heated up a lot of drama between them over this past week, which is clearly getting nowhere closer to reconciliation. Moreover, the former couple are blasting each other over social media, making jokes, insults, and accusations towards each other. A lot of this surrounds not just Rock’s pregnancy by him, but also her relationship with his family. Furthermore, it’s wild to see how that is developing in real-time, given that we have a different look at what was going on before. Through their reality TV show “Crazy In Love,” viewers get to see what was going down during the tumultuous point in their relationship that they are now facing the repercussions of.

For example, the show narrates how Karlissa Saffold, Blueface’s mom, went to Chrisean Rock’s house one night. Apparently, the California rapper was missing, and neither she nor Chrisean Rock could get in contact with him. In addition, she wanted Rock to give her payment for her bills, which the “Baddies” star refused to do. In fact, she did not want to speak to her at all, and another one of her family members had to go outside to hash things out.

Of course, since then, Blueface reappeared, and things got even more contentious between them. Not only that, but the “BDD” MC’s (other) baby mama Jaidyn Alexis threw herself into the ring recently. What’s more is that Blue even pleaded with Alexis to fight Chrisean Rock. Even though she refused, there’s clearly a lot of animosity between them that goes both ways. As Saffold keeps dissing Rock online for her attacks towards her son, this show is demonstrating how bad things already were.

Still, hopefully everyone involved will move past all this drama and beef within the next couple of months. After all, Chrisean has a new life ahead of her, as does Blueface with his mother and Jaidyn. As such, many fans (or rather, people who keep seeing it on their timelines) hope that this will all be over soon for their sake, regardless of blame. Lil Meech was trolled by a fan of his ex, Summer Walker, in a video circulating on social media. In the clip, one person taunts him as he exits his vehicle, asking for help with their groceries. Meech previously claimed he was helping a woman with her groceries when a video of him entering someone’s apartment went viral on social media.

“Hey Meech, can you help me with my groceries?” the person asked the actor and rapper. “Cousin, can you help me with my groceries?” He ignored the comment while continuing onward.

As she inches closer to walking away from Blueface for good, Chrisean Rock has been spilling all the tea about the 26-year-old’s troubling behaviour throughout their relationship. Of course, we’ve already seen much of it play out on social media, or their Zeus reality series, but there are secrets the Baddies cast member has kept from even those outlets. On Sunday (August 6), Rock went Live on Instagram to discuss some of the drama she’s endured throughout her pregnancy, including a particularly tense altercation in Las Vegas, at which time Blue allegedly threatened to kick her in the stomach.

Things on the couple’s trip took a turn when Rock confronted a woman in their party who became uncomfortably friendly with her baby daddy. “B**ch just started crying. I don’t even know what happened,” she recalled. The energy around felt uncomfortable for the soon-to-be mother afterward, so she booked a trip out of Sin City on her own. When she crossed paths with Blueface back at their hotel, he was less than happy with the news. “He get in my face for real and this is the evilest s**t I’ve ever seen him do, and nobody deserves that s**t,” the 23-year-old admitted.

For months now, the Baddies cast member’s followers have been reminding her that Blueface is only as well-known as he is because of her presence in his life. Interestingly, now that Rock is doing what she can to move on and heal, he’s hoping to turn Alexis into a star to seemingly keep the spotlight on him. “Done entertaining that young lady.
