Moreover, that’s exactly what’s happening to Beyonce and Jay-Z right now, stemming from a resurfaced clip of a 2006 birthday toast from Bey to Jay. “This is nothing compared to what you’ve done for me,” she began her heartfelt message. “Not only me, but everybody here. You taught me how to be a woman. You’ve given me so much in life. It’s not enough I can give you. I just want you to be happy, and every year, I’m even more in love with you.“

So then, you might be asking, where’s the debate coming from? Well, many folks on social media and beyond criticized Beyonce for saying that Jay-Z taught her how to be a woman. “Why did your man teach you instead of your own mother?” was a popular reaction to this. Still, many came to the Texas native’s defense, including City Girl Yung Miami. “Because your MAN brings out the best in you,” she commented under Instagram coverage of the clip. “They teach you things that you didn’t know about yourself, especially when they’re older!”

The NFL has defended its heavy focus on Taylor Swift during her appearances at recent games as well as in social media content. “We frequently change our bios and profile imagery based on what’s happening in and around our games, as well as culturally. I think it brings a little bit more to the atmosphere, brings a little bit more to what you’re watching. But at the same time, I think they’re overdoing it a little bit for sure. Especially my situation,” Kelce said on his weekly podcast. With Swift watching the Chiefs beat the Jets in person, cuts to the singer were frequent. Some fans complained that Swift’s reaction was being prioritized over the action on the field. One notable example was when the broadcast cut away from an Isaiah Pacheco touchdown celebration to get Swift’ reaction.

Swift is expected to attend the Chiefs’ next game in Minnesota, where the Vikings have expressed an eagerness to “get to Kelce” in front of his boo.

Damian Lillard Files For Divorce From Wife Kay’La

Damian Lillard has filed for divorce from his wife Kay’La. Lillard filed the motion in Clackamas County Circuit Court and the news was first reported by the Willamette Week. The Lillards have been married since 2021 but have been together since their college days at Weber State. However, Lillard’s filing cites “irreconcilable differences” and suggests that the couple has been living apart since December 2022. The couple have three children together – a five-year-old and two-year-old twin daughters.

Furthermore, the October 2 filing came less than a week after Lillard was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks. Given that the couple appears to have been separated for almost a year, it’s unclear what impact Lillard’s trade had on the decision to formally file for divorce. Lillard’s attorney did not respond to the Willamette Week‘s request for comment. Meanwhile, Lillard is not currently available to the media as he is attending the Bucks’ training camp.

Jrue Holiday Rejoins The Eastern Conference After Lillard Trade

The Blazers traded Jrue Holiday to the Boston Celtics for two first-round picks, Robert Williams III, and Malcolm Brogdon. However, Holiday’s brief time in Portland was not unexpected. After acquiring the veteran defensive star, the Blazers had made it clear that they would be looking to trade him given their complement of young, developing players at the guard position. Holiday, who had 19.3 points and 7.4 assists per game last season, will likely become the Celtics’ starting point guard in place of Derrick White.

However, the move means that Holiday will now have several regular-season matchups against Dame, Giannis, and the Bucks. Giannis had expressed genuine sadness that acquiring Lillard had come at the cost of losing Holiday. “Jrue is my fucking brother for life. I love his family, I love him. Yung Miami responded to Diddy’s recent comments in which he compared her to Oprah in a post on her Instagram Story. She remarked that the iconic music mogul is going to be the one to push her to get there. Diddy made the comparison while speaking with Billboard for a recent interview.

“Nipsey Hussle, to me, was that young Puff version,” Diddy began. “But one person that I can say right now is Travis Scott. I can relate to how he’s diversifying his portfolio and really understanding how to take it to the next level.”  From there, he added: “I also think Yung Miami [aka Caresha Brownlee] from the City Girls. Caitlyn and Kris Jenner are no longer on speaking terms, according to a recent interview by the former. “Kris and I, we never really speak anymore. If there’s any communication, Sophia Hutchins, my manager, runs the show. Of course, when you have as many kids as I do, you are closer to some than others. I’m much closer to the Jenner side of the family. I’m really close to my sons. But Kris, I really don’t have any contact with,” Caitlyn Jenner said on This Morning.

Caitlyn and Kris met in late 1990 and were married by April 1991. Bringing four children into the marriage, Caitlyn and Kris would have two more of their own – Kendall and Kylie. However, the couple separated in 2013 and were formally divorced in 2015. A month later, Caitlyn came out as a trans woman and revealed that she had previously undergone HRT before things got serious with Kris.

Jenner Clarifies For Kim Kardashian Comments

However, this is just the most recent time that Jenner has spoken on her relationship with the Kardashians. Last month, Jenner claimed that a recent remark she made calling Kim Kardashian “calculated” was taken out of context. Instead, Jenner claims that the line was cherry-picked for use in a promo for an upcoming documentary about the Kardashian dynasty. A source close to Jenner told TMZ that while “calculated” may not have been the best choice of words, Jenner’s complimentary comments of Kim had been edited to be more inflammatory. Furthermore, Jenner said the comment was part of a wider reflection on Kardashian’s rise.

The minor controversy sparked the week prior when it was reported that Jenner had called Kardashian “calculated”. “Kimberly calculated from the beginning, ‘How do I become famous?’” was the quote in full. As mentioned, it stemmed from an early promo for Sky’s House of Kardashian. The series is a new documentary detailing the family’s rise to stardom. Kardashian stans lashed out at Jenner, seeing the quote as an insult against Kardashian. I’m not sure what kind of contract/pre-nup he required in previous relationships but the word pre-nup was never brung to me not one time,” Jackson wrote on Instagram.

Gunplay’s Drug Use Caused His Daughter’s Heart Defect, Vonshae Taylor-Morales Claims

The mother of Gunplay’s child, Vonshae Taylor-Morales, recently took to social media to reveal the impact the rapper’s alleged drug use has had on their family. In a new clip, the mother of one claims that their daughter’s heart defect was caused by Gunplay’s drug abuse. She further cited his guilt over the situation as the catalyst for his relapse.

“Cocaine, ketamine, all those type of things, it causes cognitive disorders,” she explained. “So, that’s why my daughter’s heart was f*cked up, and he took it really hard. And I just wasn’t with it.” Taylor-Morales went on to describe how she made it clear to him that she wouldn’t be staying in the relationship if he started to use drugs again. Unfortunately, she missed some of the signs that he had relapsed.

Gunplay Took His Daughter’s Health Issues “Hard”

In August, Gunplay was arrested after he allegedly pointed a gun at Taylor-Morales, who was holding their baby. She took to social media soon after to announce that she’d be filing for divorce, and to unveil some of his previous concerning behavior. “Richard is back using and developed a very bad drinking problem. I’ve tried everything in my power to help him and love him,” she wrote. “This is a demon he has to overcome on his own. At this point, I really believe it’s too late.”

She later revealed that since the rapper was in jail, she was unable to officially file. Despite the issues they’ve gone through in recent months, Taylor-Morales claims she still has love for Gunplay, and wants to see him improve. “He do love me, I love him,” she explained. “That’s my best friend. But, unfortunately sometimes you’ve got to let the person you love go so he can find himself. I want him to find himself, I want him to get help. Soulja Boy’s Ex Permitted To Seize Vehicles, Cash, And More For Lawsuit Damages

Last month, Soulja Boy’s ex-girlfriend, Kayla Myers, motioned to seize some of the rapper’s assets to collect the damages awarded to her in her assault case. The rapper was ordered to pay Myers $472K, but he claimed he was unable to pay due to financial struggles. He motioned to dismiss the damages, but the judge denied it.

“Defendant must be earning money from somewhere sufficient to pay for the rent and whatever other monthly expenses he has,” the judge explained. “In other words, defendant is paying $300,000/year in rent alone. It stands to reason that he must have some other living expenses. And that money must come from somewhere.” Now, the judge has granted officers permission to seize Soulja Boy’s cars and cash on behalf of his ex. Officers will be allowed to take any cash in excess of $1K.

In his motion to dismiss the damages, Soulja Boy claimed that he owes the IRS $1 million in back taxes. He also cited steep rental payments for his LA mansion, which he says costs him $25K per month. The judge advised Soulja Boy to scale back his living situation in order to pay off his debt.

Myers sued the rapper back in 2020, accusing him of kidnapping and assaulting her at a Malibu house party the year prior. Her awarded damages are to cover her mental health expenses, as well as the physical and mental suffering the alleged assault caused her. “Mr. Way [Soulja Boy] assaulted and terrorized Kayla, and that was borne out by the evidence and testimony,” Myers’ attorney stated. “The punitive damages were substantial, and hopefully they will serve as a lesson to Mr. Way that his celebrity status is not a license to commit violence.” What do you think of the court granting officers permission to seize Soulja Boy’s property on behalf of his ex?
