Jada Pinkett Smith Confirms “Red Table Talk” Is Returning

Jada Pinkett Smith will officially be bringing her series, Red Table Talk, back in 2024. The actress confirmed the news during a live stream on TalkShopLive. The news comes following the release of her new memoir, Worthy, which has brought with it several headline-grabbing stories about her relationship with Will Smith.

“The Red Table is coming back. We are in the works of a situation right now. So next year,” Jada Pinkett Smith said. “We could not do the red table while I was writing this book and while Willow was on her music journey.”

Jada previously expressed confidence in the return of Red Table Talk while speaking with PEOPLE back in June. At the time, she confirmed several platforms had reached out about publishing the series. “We’ve had a couple platforms reach out to us,” Smith revealed. “And we have some interesting avenues that we’re looking at now. You know me, I’m always looking for the next innovative thing. Actually, there’s one idea that we have in mind that I’m kind of excited about that will probably be happening, maybe, close to the release of the book. We’ve got some really interesting stuff happening with [Red Table Talk]. I’m excited about that journey as well.”

Red Table Talk previously aired on Facebook Watch, beginning in May 2018. It ran there for five seasons. Jada has hosted numerous celebrities on the show over those years. In addition to members of her own family, she’s also spoken with Gabrielle Union, Tiffany Haddish, Kid Cudi, Wale, Jordyn Woods, Common, T.I., Snoop Dogg, Lauren London, Ice Cube, Bobby Brown, Kevin Hart, Queen Latifah, Fat Joe, and many more. Diddy Nearly Fought Will & Jada Pinkett Smith For Flirting With Jennifer Lopez, Body Guard Claims

Diddy’s former bodyguard, Gene Deal, says that the Bad Boy founder once nearly came to blows with Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. Speaking with The Art of Dialogue, Deal explained that the couple had “made advances” on Diddy’s then-girlfriend, Jennifer Lopez. He also joked that Will would mostly likely “beat the shit” out of Diddy, although he did admit the music industry mogul can “scrap.”

“We were at a birthday party that I think Matt Damon was giving for Ben Affleck. It was just a little gathering at the Four Seasons,” Deal began. “Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez, Puff, Will Smith and Jada were sitting on [one] side of the room.”

“[Puff] stood up. And when he stood up, he walked and did his arms a certain kind of way like [crossing them]. I go over towards him and he said to me, ‘Yo, I think Will and Jada are trying to scoop up Jennifer. She described them as living “completely separate lives” across the last few years and it erupted from there. During the same interview, she claimed that Chris Rock, victim of the legendary Oscar’s slap, asked her out during a period of time where divorce rumors were swirling.

That’s the context for a viral new rant that Dr. Umar went on. In the video, he has a number of critiques of Jada’s body that he sees as reasons why her stories aren’t true. Fortunately, plenty of fans flocked to the comments to stand up for her. “Lmaaaao now Dr. Umar, you shaped like Dora’s backpack, be quiet!” one of the top comments reads. “We not gon sit here n act like this woman didn’t have these men groveling at her feet back in the day. After the newest photos of Halle Bailey and DDG hit the internet today (October 16), however, it’s becoming less believable that the Disney actress isn’t pregnant.

Newly captured paparazzi photos show Bailey and her other half in Santa Monica this week. Despite the warm weather overtaking the city well into fall, Bailey was notably dressed in multiple layers. She put a red t-shirt under an oversized, dark hoodie, completing her casual fit with light grey sweatpants. The Atlanta native has always had a slim frame, but it’s hard to deny the appearance of a growing bump on her midsection. Bailey was all smiles as the camera clicked away, looking as radiant as ever while reportedly heading into a meeting.

Despite all the drama and discussion around her upcoming memoir Worthy, Jada Pinkett Smith seems like she’s already looking to the future. Moreover, she recently joined The Today Show on Monday morning (October 16) and spoke to Hoda Kotb about her relationship with Will Smith. What’s more is that the actor even posted a hilarious and cheeky response to all this on Instagram. His latest post is captioned “Notifications off :),” and shows him taking a nap on a boat amid a flurry of notifications. The message is clear: the 55-year-old is not letting any of this gossip and heated debate get to his head, and his wife even commented on it with some laughing emojis.

Jokes aside, we actually did get his first public response to all this thanks to an email sent to The New York Times. During their interview with Jada Pinkett Smith, they said that her memoir “kind of woke [Will Smith] up,” or rather, that said feeling is how he would describe it. “She had lived a life more on the edge than he’d realized. She is more resilient, clever and compassionate than he’d understood,” they paraphrased his thoughts on the matter, and later directly quoted him. “When you’ve been with someone for more than half of your life, a sort of emotional blindness sets in. You can all too easily lose your sensitivity to their hidden nuances and subtle beauties,” the Philly native expressed. As such, it seems like she has his full support, and that the couple is sticking together amid all this.

With this in mind, for this new Today interview, Jada Pinkett Smith spoke on what she wants her future with Will Smith to be like. “There’s no finding another great love, and I think that’s the point,” the Baltimore native shared “It’s like we are in a place now that we are in a deep, healing space. And we are really concentrating on healing the relationship between us. There’s no divorce on paper. We really have been working hard. That’s the whole thing. We are working very hard at bringing our relationship together. Back to a life partnership.

“Here’s the thing about husband-wife marriage for me, for my healing process,” she continued. “I came into that with very specific ideas that were blocks to me seeing Will as who he is. He can’t be this perfect, ideal guy husband. I have to be able to accept him for the human that he is, he accepts me for the human that I am. And we want to love each other there.” She thinks that this memoir experience has brought them even closer together, and only brought things publicly now because they needed time to figure out who they were and what they wanted to be. HNHH reported yesterday about their surprise appearances on SNL after the massive writer’s strike. It was the season 49 premiere, in fact, according to PageSix. Both stars were feeling a little extra lovey touching and smooching after their cameos. On top of Travis showing off his comedic chops during a skit with the NFL trying to not talk about Taylor, both of them went on a dinner date.

It was at the famous Nobu restaurant and Travis and Taylor were dressed semi-casual but killed their outfits. You can see in the picture above that the Chiefs tight-end is rocking a more monochromatic look. He rocked all tan and a sprinkling of white in the shirt and shoes. On the other hand, Swift opted for a black leather skirt and a floral top. However, you would think the blissful night would end with the two at the Eagles versus Jets game. But, according to TMZ Sports, it did not.

Jada Pinkett Smith Recalls Jaden Smith Introducing Her To Ayahuasca

Jada Pinkett Smith says that her son, Jaden Smith, put her on to ayahuasca which “opened up a whole new world of healing.” Speaking with PEOPLE for a new interview amid the release of her memoir, Worthy, Jada explained that she overheard Jaden and his friends discussing the positive benefits of ayahuasca.

“When Jaden came to me that day and he’s like, ‘Mom, you got to hear this. My friend’s dad, he had this experience. I need you to come in here and listen.’ I’m like, ‘I’m there. What is it?’” she recalled. From there, she revealed that the ayahuasca experience “opened up a whole new world of healing,” which she is “so grateful for.”

Prior to using ayahuasca, Jada says she was struggling with her mental health. “While I was really living the dream, I hit a huge wall — a massive amount of depression,” she explained. “I think that I looked at having outside sources to supplement for the voids that I was feeling inside.” At points, she even battled with thoughts of suicide. “I started looking for places, cliffs where I could have an accident, because I didn’t want my kids to think that their mother had committed suicide,” she said.
