Drake addressed the allegations Kendrick Lamar put forth about him being a pedophile on his newest diss track, “The Heart Part 6,” on Sunday night. In the lyrics of the song, he says: “Speakin’ of anything with a child, let’s get to that now / This Epstein angle was the sh*t I expected / TikTok videos you collected and dissected.” At another point, he raps: “Only f*ckin’ with Whitney’s, not Millie Bobby Brown’s, I’d never look twice at no teenager.” Elsewhere in the song, he also claims he planted the story about himself having another kid in Lamar’s camp.

Fans had mixed responses to the song on social media, One user remarked: “I will admit if the drake planted mole is true, the daughter plan is both devastatingly devious while simultaneously a self own because why are you reminding everyone about the last time you were forced into a child reveal.” Another user added: “Drake’s argument against the pedophilia allegations is ‘if i was really fucking young girls I promise I’d have been arrested’ UHHH WHAT??? Rich famous men don’t get away with such crimes everyday???”

Drake Performs With 21 Savage At Morehouse College

At another point in the song, Drake brings up Lamar’s Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers track, “Mother I Sober,” on which the rapper reflects on his mother’s experience with sexual abuse. Many fans felt Drake misconstrued the intent of the song by accusing Lamar of being a victim. “‘Mother I Sober’ is about how Kendrick wasn’t even molested but his mom didn’t believe him because she had PTSD from being molested herself… and this man listened to that song and decided to mock molestation victims while he’s done foul sh*t with minors ON VIDEO??? WHAT THE F*CK?”

DJ Akademiks, Rick Ross, and several more voices in hip-hop reacted to Kendrick Lamar’s latest diss track targeting Drake, “Not Like Us,” on social media, Saturday night. Akademiks was streaming live when the song was released and after listening, he remarked: “Drake, you gotta shoot him now I’m sorry.” Rick Ross, who has been beefing with the Toronto rapper in his own right, shared a video of himself at a pool party where the track was playing.

Denzel Curry had praise for the song on Twitter, remarking: “This man is relentless,” while also comparing the level of hatred to Obi-Wan and Anakin in Star Wars. Rubi Rose and Druski are either keeping up an extensive joke together or they really are dating, and fans seem more and more convinced either way. Some of them refuse to believe it for a second, while others are too busy shipping them, and Rose’s latest Instagram post from Thursday (May 2) has both sides feeling even more vindicated. She posted a video of some flowers that the comedian seems to have gifted her for their two-week anniversary, and ironically enough, people saw this as evidence both in favor of and against the idea that they’re together. “Oh they actually together I thought it was a joke,” one fan commented with crying emojis, while another replied, “Our 2 week anniversary gave it away. This is NOT a serious relationship,” along with some crying-laughing emojis. Either way, Rubi Rose and Druski are making this a very public matter, with no signs of it slowing down anytime soon. It would make sense that they would want to promote this and make it very clear on their social media one way or the other, because engagement doesn’t care if it’s reaching skeptics or staunch believers. But it also feels a bit icky and overly pessimistic to pretend like they wouldn’t be dating in the first place.

Overnight, OVO R&B singer PARTYNEXTDOOR released his highly-anticipated new album PARTYNEXTDOOR 4. The project is his first in 4 years since 2020’s PARTYMOBILE and the first new entry into his self-titled series of projects since the third edition in 2016. It grabbed plenty of attention right when it was announced due to its incredibly evocative album cover. Fans eventually tracked down the model who poses on the NSFW cover in the wake of it’s reveal.

The new album was preceded by 4 singles and adds an additional 10 new songs for a runtime grand total of 14 tracks and 45 minutes. The rapper turned podcaster has been reacting and giving his two cents on the situation as of late. His most recent discussion was around “Push Ups” and his favorite bar. But a new clip from the Joe Budden podcast has now surfaced for the “Taylor Made Freestyle.” At the start of the snippet, the New Yorker was clearly hyped to be back in the podcast studio.

Before him and the crew got into the recent diss though, the panel wanted to address some chatter that Drake was trying to “box them out” of the beef talk. Because “Taylor Made” came out on April 19 (a Friday), they were not able to react to it right away. However, Joe Budden made sure to be clear that if the diss was essentially good enough, he would react to it ASAP. But the podcast crew decided to wait until they were scheduled to come back to give their thoughts. They also did not come in early because “Drake listens to [Joe Budden] more than Kendrick does.”

“Everybody tripping,” Ray J remarked, indicating that his friends and even medial experts are pretty worried about this decision and apparently his mental health. “I had a few doctors call me and DM me. Thank you, I appreciate the love because if you worried about me, then please let me know. If I’m falling by the wayside, If I’m going left, help me go right. I’ma listen. Straight up.“ Then, he relayed plans to make them even larger on his face despite concerns, and claimed that they were unfinished at the moment.

After letting hip-hop lose its collective mind for a couple of hours, it seems like Drake has finally responded to all the ruckus about his leaked diss track. For those unaware, a couple of different versions of a response track to Kendrick Lamar, Future, Metro Boomin, and more’s disses surfaced online on Saturday (April 13). While a lot of folks are still silent, have dropped potentially subliminal clap-backs, or outright fired back, The Boy stayed unfazed online up until a recent Instagram Story post. It’s very simple: just a picture of Uma Thurman as The Bride in the Kill Bill franchise, facing off against a group of assassins with just a katana in her hand.

Of course, even if Drake is just a big Tarantino fan and wanted to post this shot, it’s impossible to interpret this post in any other way right now. This is especially true because of a certain William (Bill) whose stage name will likely sound much more familiar to you. Rick Ross dropped his response track to Drizzy within mere hours of the leak emerging, on which he takes aim at his biracial identity, his alleged surgeries, and his supposed ratting out of French Montana to law enforcement via a cease and desist. It seems like no one directly involved in this feud has wasted any sort of time in offering up at least something to escalate things… except maybe its big instigator.

Drake’s leaked diss response to Kendrick Lamar, Future, Metro Boomin, and what feels like half the current rap game has hip-hop in a chokehold right now. Moreover, reactions from countless fans, fellow rappers, and big celebrities are flowing through the discourse river at a high speed, and this track isn’t even officially on streaming yet. As such, there’s still a fair share of skepticism and mystery surrounding it, which feels like quite the intentional choice considering that this beef is mostly for the fans and for the culture, not for the numbers. Regardless, it’s 99% confirmed that this really was Drizzy… recording it (writing it is another story), and the overall sentiment is: Nice!

For example, let’s take two opposite reactions to this Drake leak (no, not that one) that both seem to acknowledge it as a great showing. First is quite the seasoned competitor himself, LeBron James. He took to Twitter with an owl emoji and some fire emojis that followed, and then added this in another tweet: “Nothing like 2 heavyweights doing What They Do Best! For the love off [sic] the sport.” Furthermore, this is curious because the kid from Akron had co-signed Kendrick Lamar’s inciting diss, “Like That.” We wonder if Drizzy thinks this evens things out, or if he didn’t appreciate that praise at all despite LeBron being very friendly with both.

LeBron James Still Isn’t Picking Sides In Drake Beef

On the other hand is maybe the king of rap beefs, 50 Cent. He posted the leaked Drake diss in question and took the opposite stance from LeBron James, instead emphasizing that this is not competition “for the love of the sport”: it’s for blood. “All you [ninja emoji]’s got smoked by a light skinned N***a,” Fif captioned the clip. “LOL YALL BETTER GET HIGH AS A MOTHER FVCKER AND COME UP WITH SOMETHING!” As for his previous remarks on this whole beef, he had expressed a desire to talk with J. Cole following his apology to Kendrick Lamar for unknown reasons… probably not very forgiving ones.

The 76-year-old was quietly battling cancer before he ultimately succumbed to the illness, and we even saw him making occasional appearances on Cam’ron and Mase’s It Is What It Is podcast. Simpson’s family says that he passed on Wednesday, “surrounded by his children and grandchildren” while also asking for privacy and grace from the world.

Unfortunately, due to Simpson’s shameless antics after being acquitted of Nicole Brown Simpson’s murder, people are having a hard time letting him rest easy. So far, social media posts about the athlete’s death are mostly joking about him being “dragged” to hell by his alleged victims, or crossing paths with other troubling figures who already might be spending time with Satan.

Born in 1966 and raised in Brooklyn, New York, his name is tied to influential rap groups and iconic artists such as Biggie. Furthermore, his other major work was done at some of the most well-known New York stations like RADIO 103.9 and Hot 97. The news of Mister Cee’s passing has been leaving everyone in shock as they send their thoughts and prayers to his family.

Cee’s peers have been remembering him across social media platforms including Peter Roseberg. “We have lost the iconic Mister Cee. I listened to him yesterday and am in complete shock. He was a dear friend to all of us, a wonderful man, and one of the most important and impactful DJs of all time.
