Will Smith Was Loving Childish Gambino’s Joke About Him & Sam Smith

Will Smith appeared to enjoy Childish Gambino bringing him up during his speech at the BET Awards on Sunday night. In a new video circulating on social media, Smith can be seen watching along backstage as Gambino complains that he has more Grammys than the legendary entertainer, but fewer BET awards than Sam Smith. Gambino’s lone win came with Video of the Year for his hit song, “This is America,” in 2019.

“I’m really excited to be here, but I want to get some things on my chest first,” Gambino began. “This isn’t personal, but I just feel I should have more BET Awards. I’m serious. It’s the Black Entertainment Television Awards. How much more entertaining do I have to do?” He continued: “It’s just the math of the fact, because it doesn’t really make sense. I have more Grammys than Will Smith – which makes no sense – but I have the same amount of BET Awards as Sam Smith. Does that make sense to you guys? 50 Cent Addresses Former Beam Suntory Employee’s Alleged Suicide Threat

50 Cent has been wrapped up in a heated legal battle with Beam Suntory for a while now. Recently, it was reported that ex-employee Michael Caruso threatened to take his own life to avoid facing legal consequences for his alleged crimes. Fif accuses him and other former employees of taking part in an embezzlement scheme. Allegedly, one of the defendants previously decided that wanted to admit his guilt. This then prompted him to phone up his fellow ex-employees to share his plan. In response, Caruso reportedly began to cry and threatened to commit suicide if Green went through with it.

50 Cent took to Instagram earlier today to respond to the alleged threat, sharing a screenshot of AllHipHop‘s report. “Go read this article on @allhiphopcom beam Suntory change their name to @suntoryglobalspirits it is a 3.2 billion a year company, and they are doing this kinda sh*t,” he captioned the post. “The government needs to step in a regulate the spirits business. Black owned companies can not make it, if they don’t have the 70 million I had to put into the business.”

Reportedly, Caruso’s threat took place before he and the others were formally sued. Since then, he’s countersued the mogul, alleging that he was cut out of a deal with Fif’s Sire Spirits without getting the compensation or ownership stake that he was promised. 50 Cent later took to social media to call him a “snitch” for an unrelated case.

That being that nothing good comes from in it and that they can lead to devastating violence. Perhaps one of the most legendary rants from the Louisiana rapper happened just three months ago surrounding this topic. “EVERYBODY GASSING UP RAP BEEF SMH ALL EXCITED SAYING THIS HIP HOP. WELL EVERYONE N THE CREW NOT GO SEE IT THAT WAY. N WHEN IT POP OFF ‘IT REALLY GOES DOWN. Well, those words almost were reality for Boosie after Rick Ross and his crew got into a heated fight over the weekend.

It went down at the Ignite Music Festival in Vancouver after DJ Sam Sneak at the event played “Not Like Us”. There are talks that Ross was the one who asked him to play the Drake diss track. That is what supposedly led to the brawl. The former and his crew were beat down pretty ruthlessly, with Sam Sneak allegedly being knocked out cold. On top of that this entire beef has also led to people being shot up outside of Drake’s house earlier this year.

It seems that this fight the other night was the final straw for Boosie Badazz to tell everyone teasing him for his take “I told you so”. Some have even started to draw comparisons between the Atlanta-born performer and other artists, namely Drake. Fortunately, she appears to have taken this as a huge compliment. Yesterday, she took to social media to respond to one user who shared a snippet of her song, writing “Drake’s influence in the culture is UNMATCHED.”

“Drake the goat,” she replied simply, making it clear that she was nothing short of flattered. While most agree that they can hear at least a bit of Drake on the record, others are also comparing her to 21 Savage, Travis Scott, Future, and more. Regardless, she doesn’t appear to mind, and neither do her fans.

Moreover, maybe folks mostly remember Joe’s thoughts on Drizzy through the lens of the recent Kendrick Lamar beef. While he might not always like Aubrey when he acts tough, he does like him with the melodies pretty often.

Furthermore, you can see from The Joe Budden Podcast‘s general reaction to “HOT UPTOWN” that not everyone was as impressed and into it as the titular host. “That’s enough, that’s enough,” Budden said of the Drake collaboration about a minute into it. “We don’t need to hear no more of that. Over this past weekend, the fourth annual Hollywood Unlocked Impact Awards took place and Cardi B was a major headline from it. The Bronx, New York product was the honoree of the Inspiration Award, and she gave quite the impassioned speech. “I’m really my biggest critic and I always say this. Nobody has it harder than in the industry and in every genre than a female rapper, and I’m going to tell you why. You have to have the best verse. Not only that, you have to kill the charts. On top of that, your personal life has to be perfect, or then the opp b****es are going to use that against you”.

Perhaps that “opp” is Nicki Minaj because she did not appreciate her sworn enemy receiving all of that appreciation. Before Cardi B was rewarded for her efforts, she mentioned how she knows how influential she is to her field of hip-hop. In the Instagram clip below, the “I Like It” hitmaker says, “I obviously see it. Sometimes people always want to underestimate everything I have done but I know I have made a change in my field. Charleston White’s Insensitive Reaction To Foolio’s Tragic Death Goes Viral

Charleston White reacted to the tragic death of Foolio in a video circulating on social media, on Sunday, during which he jokes about the location where the late rapper was shot and killed. Foolio was in Tampa to celebrate his 26th birthday at an Airbnb; however, he was kicked out for having too many people on the property. The group relocated to a nearby Holiday Inn, where Foolio was ambushed.

White began by claiming he expected Foolio to get shot eventually, before joking about where he was when the shooting took place. “The Holiday Inn?” he asked emphatically. “What the f*ck? Ain’t no protection on a n***a at the Holiday Inn. They ain’t even got valet parking.” From there, he remarked that Foolio “works hard to die.” Check out his full comments on the situation below.

Charleston White Speaks On Foolio’s Death

Foolio’s lawyer, Lewis Fusco, confirmed details of his client’s death in a statement he shared on Instagram, on Sunday. He wrote in part: “Mr. Jones had been in Tampa to celebrate his birthday over the weekend. Law enforcement reports indicate that he initially stayed at an Airbnb but was asked to leave due to exceeding occupancy limits. He subsequently relocated to the Holiday Inn, where he was involved in an incident in the hotel parking lot and reportedly ambushed. While these events involving our client, Mr. Charles Jones, have been disclosed by law enforcement, we are unable to provide further comments at this time until additional details become public record. We kindly request that the privacy of Mr. Jones and his family be respected during this difficult time.”

Prior to the shooting, Foolio had revealed that he was in Tampa for his birthday on his Instagram page. Tributes for him more heartfelt than White’s comments have been pouring in on social media throughout the day. It seems clear that Drake fans are hanging onto this Kendrick Lamar debate by a thread. Over the last day or so, there has been some speculation surrounding the use of bots, particularly on the latter’s side. Of course, one of those Drizzy supporters who has been leading the charge has been DJ Akademiks. To try and make his case for how the Canadian artist technically won the battle, he brought on an alleged stream botter who was supposedly paid off by Lamar’s manager, Anthony Saleh. He had a screenshot of the Zelle transfer, equating to a $2500 payout. However, not a lot of people online are buying this, as it could very well be a hoax. But Joe Budden is one of those who actually believes that Kendrick Lamar did utilize bots.

A clip from today’s podcast, which is 734 deep, was shared on X moments ago debating this very topic. In the 40-second breakdown, Joe Budden goes as far as to claim that he knew Lamar was boosting his numbers to outpace Drake. While this is still all up in the air right now, it could leave a bit of a stain on how dominant Kung Fu Kenny was during the beef. However, if this true, Joe could not care less even if he really tried.

Chris Brown Seems To Chastise His Tour Team After Stage Wire Malfunction Leaves Him Stranded In Mid-Air

Chris Brown’s been having a great time on his 2024 tour in support of last year’s album 11:11, but some nights are more frustrating than others. Moreover, a new clip emerged from his Tuesday night (June 11) show in New Jersey, in which technical difficulties during his performance of “Under The Influence” left him stranded in mid-air on suspension wires above dancers who didn’t notice the situation for a while. Eventually, staff arrived with a ladder to help Breezy down, and he unhooked himself and climbed back to safety to crowd cheers. However, he seemed irate, as it looks like he chastised a crew member before continuing his performance for fans.

Of course, this is small potatoes in the face of other conflicts that Chris Brown faced this year, as we know through his Quavo battle how his temper can get. Boosie Badazz recently spoke on this beef, naming Brown’s inclusion of Takeoff in the conversation as the moment when things really ramped up. While things didn’t turn to violence (and hopefully never do), Boosie thinks that this moment warranted that kind of response, or at least seemed to indicate it. It’s never justified, but it does kick things up a notch.

Elsewhere in relation to this tour, Chris Brown is seeing night in and night out how it’s bringing him a lot of success. This is especially relevant in the face of both fans and detractors that think the industry has blackballed him as of late, whether for right or wrong reasons in their eyes. The superstar doesn’t really seem to buy into this narrative either way, since he’s playing packed shows and still captivating audiences worldwide. It’s interesting, however, that he didn’t speak on narratives against him in a more combative way, like he’s done in the past.

This could indicate that the success behind the 11:11 tour, plus constant fan acclaim and engagement, is enough to keep Chris Brown satisfied. It’s a very understandable conclusion, as he remains one of the most beloved, albeit controversial, stars in the realms of rap and R&B. Add onto that the steep profits from meet and greets, and there isn’t much reason to complain. Unless, of course, you’re hanging from a faulty cable and folks don’t come to help you for a while.

The disturbing security footage of Diddy assaulting Cassie at a hotel in 2016 that went viral last month continues to garner reactions online. In the footage, the Bad Boy Records founder is seen pulling the songstress to the ground, kicking her twice, then seemingly throwing a glass vase at her. For obvious reasons, many have condemned Diddy after seeing the footage. Social media users have also been looking back on his past relationships to determine if he’s guilty of abusing other former partners. His relationship with Kim Porter, who passed away from pneumonia in 2018 after having children with Diddy, has been a particularly hot topic.

As Diddy continues to face scrutiny, Porter’s father Jake decided to weigh in on the footage of Cassie’s assault. In an interview with Rolling Stone earlier this week, he revealed that he was horrified upon seeing it. “You can say I was disgusted with the video, and I wouldn’t treat my enemy like that,” he explained. “It was despicable… I couldn’t believe it. I was in Vietnam, and I wouldn’t do that to my enemy.”
