Over the weekend, Kendrick Lamar announced that he’ll be headlining the Super Bowl Halftime Show in New Orleans in February. While many fans were happy to hear the news, particularly after the massive year he’s had, others were outraged. Immediately, social media users began to sound off about what some believed to be a slight against Lil Wayne, who’s from New Orleans. This included Nicki Minaj, who took to X earlier this week to go off on Jay-Z and Roc Nation for the decision.

“Denying a young black man what he rightfully put into this game for no other reason but your ego,” she wrote in part. “Your hatred for BIRDMAN, Drake & Nicki got you punishing Lil Wayne?!?!!!” Her rant didn’t sit well with Stephen A Smith, who responded on his show.

He called Nicki out for having beef with so many people, claiming that she didn’t have to drag Jay-Z simply because she didn’t agree with the choice. “Every time we turn around it’s something, Nicki,” he said. “You disagree with the decision… but you have to talk to a brother like that?” Now, she’s taken to X to respond and didn’t hold back in the slightest. She even jokingly confused Smith with Shannon Sharpe, who went viral yesterday for accidentally going live on Instagram during sex.

We say that because of the man unresolved lawsuits against the Bad Boy mogul, as the prevalence of this scandal has made many use it casually without much respect to the alleged victims in question or to Sean Combs’ character. Nevertheless, Kemp asked Rozay to check on his friend, mocking their various parties and previous social media antics. She even roped DJ Khaled into the whole debacle, clearly using any and all links to eviscerate Ross’ close ties.

It’s not the first time that Tia Kemp has spoken about a rap figure’s possible proximity to the Diddy scandal. For example, she theorized that Joe Budden’s criticisms of him and of Yung Miami actually indicate that he’s jealous of their previous relationship. “Yeah, I think these men be mad that she had Diddy and they didn’t,” Kemp responded to the podcaster’s viral rant against the former City Girl. As for the attacks against Rick Ross, those work with the opposite narrative.

Moreover, the last time that the former dragged the latter online was through accusations of a “smear campaign” on Bey and Jay-Z’s behalf for Banks’ criticism of her new country era. Now, the New York femcee is instead going after something a little bit more light but still very, very personal to the Texas superstar. This new subject of hate is her new whiskey brand SirDavis. It’s named after Bey’s great-grandfather Davis Hogue, who was a Southern farmer and moonshiner during the Prohibition era.

“I’m sorry Beyonce I love you down,” Azealia Banks began her Twitter rant on Thursday night (September 5). “But ‘SIRDAVIS‘ is a horrible name for a luxury spirits brand. Its so ghetto. All in all, not the worst or meanest rant in this saga, but certainly not the most earned or understandable, either. To be fair, maybe we’re just in the wrong for not looking into liquor branding with the same level of attention to detail. Elsewhere, Azealia Banks threw her hat into the Ice Spice/Cleotrapa drama ring by expressing solidarity with the latter. “I don’t like how everyone is trying to make cleotrapa look,” she tweeted.

During her retelling of the evening’s events, Tate says that one security guard was constantly hovering around her group.

After being fed up with it, Baby Tate decided to ask the man why he was targeting her party. That seems to be when things escalated. “Plus quit with the dark skin s**t,” Azealia Banks went on concerning the former City Girl. “Like what the hell does that even mean anymore. Meanwhile, Azealia Banks doesn’t always just bash other celebrities. August Alsina Responds To Akbar V’s Homophobic Rant

August Alsina has been trending on the internet lately thanks to his conversation with Nick Cannon and his panel on Counsel Culture. One of the interviewers asked the R&B artist about his “love for another man” and how “opening [his] heart” has helped him with that. While answering the question, the New Orleans, Louisiana native said that God essentially aided him in seeing the light, so to speak. “I always say that the greatest gift that God could have ever given me was exposure. To expose me to so many different kinds of people, places, things”. This ruffled the feathers of reality TV star Akbar V who is a very firm believer and follower of what the Bible says.

She went on several rants about August Alsina yesterday and she essentially called him out for lying that God would help him discover his homosexuality. “He gives us a choice… How did God do this and he says it’s a sin? So does that mean God is a liar?”, she angrily asked. Later, she would go on to question who this God is for August because “it’s only one true living God”. She did also clarify at one point that she’s not against him nor judging his love for another male. V is more so irked by how he came to this realization. “This is not to down August Alsina. I’m not against my brother; I’m basically saying God hasn’t told him that because God doesn’t like sin… and if we are sinning, God is not a God who promotes sin then tells us not to sin… I am praying for my brother and hope one day he finds the truth about the true living God”.

While talking about his product he says it has some unique powers. To be exact it’s a “repellent to negative energy”. He even says its “really become an aromatherapy to me somehow”. She also described herself as married to Jeremy Robinson and said she regrets her family reality TV series, The Braxtons, which premiered on August 9th on WETV. Tamar and Jeremy attended a screening of the show together, last week.

“JR means the world to me… thank God for him… my husband and my children has saved my life!!!! But, I’m so mad at my life… my family is TOXIC!!! I should have NEVER went back to BFV!! NEVER!!!” In a follow-up post, she added: “Y’all I’m going through it. I’m single and sad and this TV s*** is a lot. Y’all have NO idea!!! NONE!!! The gas lighting is CRAZY!!! And I’m going back into treatment!!!! Omg I just pray that my marriage can be saved and my life can be spared. My family is AWFUL!!!” She deactivated both her X and Instagram accounts afterward.

Offset’s Aimless Rant Amid Cardi B Divorce Leaves Fans Completely Stumped

Just a little over a week ago, Page Six reported that Cardi B was filing for divorce from former Migos rapper Offset for the second time. The on-again, off-again tandem were together for seven years and currently share two children, Kulture and Wave, with a third one on the way. Some were immediately attributing this to Offset allegedly cheating on Cardi during a night out at a casino. He was seen out with an ex who goes by Pretty Redz. However, both of them shut down the allegations with the SET IT OFF MC, saying, “People really need to do the research. I’m at a public place gambling at a casino with a married 8-month pregnant woman wtf I look like being outside publicly cheating SMD!!!”.

While this was certainly a perfectly reasonable assumption from outsiders, Cardi B did not go through with this because of the casino ordeal. Instead, an insider said that it was more so about them simply “grow[ing] apart”. Overall, it seems that Cardi B is dealing with as best as possibly one could. Offset was also appearing unbothered in a recent video, although fans were calling cap.
