[WATCH] J. Prince Responds To Offset: There’s Consequences When You F**k With Me

Screen Shot 2023 02 08 at 10.28.13 PM

Last week, music mogul and the unofficial mayor of Houston, J. Prince, spoke on Takeoff and his relationship with Offset at the time of Takeoff’s untimely death on Gillie and Wallo’s A Million Dollaz Worth Of Game podcast. Offset contended that Prince’s opinions were offensive to Takeoff’s family, but the Rap-A-Lot mogul claims that Quavo and Takeoff’s family didn’t “really f*** with” Offset.

Prince took to IG today(February 8) to “warn” the Migos member, saying, “This clown Offset suffering from being a fake motherf**** disease. He wanna play victim now, but he was a volunteer when he spoke threats about me and my family name in his mouth about what he gonna do. ‘Why you didn’t call me to talk’ is the twist he wanna use. Tell lies in your woman ear, n****. I don’t have time to listen to weak s***. Now you wanna fake in front of a camera, trying to hide behind Takeoff’s mother when I’ve shown nothing but respect for her and [her] family. See, boy, you acting like you’re a part of a family that don’t really f*** with you because you’re a snake.”

Now you don’t know me from a can of paint. Let me see if I can refresh your memory,” Prince continued. “Remember we talked when you got your a** whooped in Atlanta? You forgot? Remember when you called upon me and I came to LA and met with you because you was nervous about your wife performing because she had them issues about using the word ‘flu’? You forgot? Remember when you and Sauce Walka was beefing and you wanted me to stamp that bulls***? You forgot that too? I can go on, but I think you remember now.”

Prince then added what he alleges is the “real reason” why Offset didn’t join Quavo’s tribute to Takeoff at the Grammy Awards, adding, “See this is the reason I say blood make you kin and loyalty make you family because of motherf****** like you that have stuck a knife in the back of the ones you call your brother. Explain since you’re a real a** n****. Explain to the people the real reason why you weren’t on that stage at the Grammys with Quavo, who you call your brother, for the tribute. You ain’t man enough to do that because you what we call a tender d*** n****. Takeoff, Quavo, and the family wasn’t f***** with you for a while before his passing and still don’t f*** with you because you a rattlesnake n****. Quavo been letting you make it because he gotta good heart. It’s consequences when you f*** with me. I don’t have no heart for no snake, and I give you what you ask for. And by the way, I don’t think I’m no John Gotti. That ain’t who I looked up to. It’s no secret who my OG is — the flag you perpetrate with. Homie, you better go do what you do best. Write some rhymes and quit playing gangsta. I don’t want no trouble, peace.”

Cardi B Can Be Heard Allegedly Breaking Up A Fight Between Quavo And Offset At The Grammys In A Video That Has Surfaced Online

Rumors continue to circulate about a backstage fight between former Migos members Offset and Quavo at the Grammys this past weekend — despite Offset’s efforts to dispel them.

Now, alleged footage of Cardi B supposedly yelling at the two former bandmates to break it up has surfaced; fittingly, you can find that on TMZ.

Although neither Cardi, Quavo, or Offset appears in the video, you can hear Cardi’s distinctive voice yelling, “Both of y’all’s wrong! This is not right!” And while it’s not clear who she’s addressing she does tell someone “No bitch, shut the f*ck up ’cause you shouldn’t have been talking.”

The original report surfaced on TMZ shortly after the show on Sunday, detailing how the two men were separated after a physical altercation. The fight reportedly stemmed from Quavo’s refusal to allow Offset to join him onstage for his tribute to Takeoff.

As rumors circulated online, Offset tweeted, “What tf I look like fighting my brother yal n****s is crazy,” seemingly denying the rumor. However, if it’s untrue that the two Atlantans were involved in a fight, then it becomes even more unclear who Cardi is yelling at in the video.

Perhaps the answer will be revealed in time; hopefully, though, Offset and Quavo can reconcile after losing Takeoff, realizing that life is too short and whatever petty argument separated them isn’t worth losing their connection as well.

Did Quavo And Offset Actually Fight At The Grammys?

There’s no denying the Grammy Awards is the biggest night in music. Just as the annual ceremony looks to acknowledge the year’s rising stars and legacy acts. The program also carves out time each year during its In Memoriam tribute section to remember the musicians that passed away (or at least some of them). For rapper Quavo, this was the most meaningful part of the event.

Performing his new song, “Without You,” the Atlanta native paid his respects to his late nephew, rapper Takeoff, who was tragically killed last year. Unfortunately, the touching tribute has since been mudded by allegations that a fight broke out backstage between him and Offset.

The former Migos member quickly took to Twitter to deny the rumors, writing, “What the f*ck look like fighting my brother y’all n****s is crazy.”

However, now footage obtained by TMZ has fans questioning what to believe. In the video, Offset’s wife, Cardi B, a featured presenter for the evening, was heard yelling, “Both of y’all wrong. Both of y’all. This is not right.”

Shortly after she’s heard yelling, ET‘s Kevin Fraizer asked Cardi about what tensions she was attempting to settle, and she denied anything had happened. Cardi laughs off the question, saying, “The only thing I settled was my outfit, honey.”

Later, Offset is seen walking away alongside his former label head Pierre Thomas visibly upset as he makes mention of a red carpet incident. Something clearly transpired, but what exactly happened is still unclear.

J. Prince Claims Quavo’s Friend Gave Statements To Police In Takeoff Investigation

J Prince caused a storm during his recent appearance on Million Dollaz Worth Of Game. Throughout the past few months, many questioned the intentions of Mob Ties in the wake of Takeoff’s death. However, Prince attempted to clear his and his sons’ names from any of the chatter surrounding the Migos rapper’s murder.

At one point, J Prince alleges that Quavo’s friend, Willie Bland, began cooperating with authorities in the case. He brought along supposed paperwork that Gillie Da King read during the podcast. Bland stated in the police report that he felt as though Quavo’s life was in harm’s way. Bland said he saw one of the men reaching for his weapon. At that point, he threw the first punch since he believe they were going to try and rob Quavo. However, J. Prince refuted Bland’s statement, questioning why he’d throw a punch at someone that he knew was armed.

“Clearly, this Bland dude gave a police report that he seen these two guys with guns earlier but these are the same two guys that he decided to punch with his gun out and his them with a gun. What do you think is going to happen?” Prince noted. “Lord know if any of them tried to rob or touch Quavo, it was going to be some real problems.”

Bland allegedly told police about what led up to the shooting. The paperwork supposedly reveals that he provided the names of another individual he claimed also possessed a weapon. Later on, he added that he actually got the gun itself from Jas Prince.

“He giving all kinds of statements on this police report that we have so we could read his name and everything ‘cause he put himself in a position where he’s cooperating and telling a lot of different lies so we may as well shine a light on the real root to the issue which is this homie,” Prince said on the podcast. He added that Jas and Quavo are brothers, so his son doesn’t have any issues with providing the Migos rapper with protection. “Now, you got this clown, and it end up in his hand… this clown saying somebody wanna rob him that gave him a gun,” Prince continued.

Cardi B Appears To Yell At Quavo & Offset Amid Grammys Fight In Leaked Footage

Though there have been conflicting reports surrounding the alleged fight between Quavo and Offset, Entertainment Tonight obtained footage that appears to confirm that some sort of confrontation occurred backstage. ET shared footage that reveals Cardi yelling at several people backstage at the Grammys. However, it’s unclear to who she’s yelling at. “Both of y’all wrong! Both of y’all! This is not right!” she’s heard saying. “No bitch, shut the fuck up ’cause you shouldn’t have been talking.”

Evidently, something set off Cardi at that moment. Given how the video emerged after recent reports of an altercation, it seems likely that it was related to that. As the smoke settled, ET approached Cardi B and asked, “I heard you back here settled some stuff.” She brushed it off, claiming, “The only thing I settled was my outfit, honey.”

TMZ broke the news yesterday that Offset and Quavo got into it backstage at the Grammys. While Quavo was set to hit the stage to perform his tribute for Takeoff, the Grammys reportedly asked Set to join him. However, Quavo allegedly blocked Offset from walking on stage and a physical altercation broke out. The outlet stated they needed to be pulled apart, just before Quavo went on stage.

Initially, reports claimed that sources close to Offset blamed Quavo for the incident. However, shortly after the news began to spread, the “Ric Flair Drip” rapper immediately denied that he and Quavo got into it. “What tf look like fighting my brother yal n***as is crazy,” Offset wrote.

Quavo performed his tribute song “Without You” during the Grammy’s In Memoriam segment. The Migos rapper and Maverick City Music choir joined forces for the segment. The performance marked Quavo’s first since Takeoff’s death and he made sure to represent his nephew’s legacy. He donned Takeoff’s chain down the red carpet before hanging it on the microphone stand and holding it up at the end of the performance. “Very important. Long live Takeoff,” he told ET about the significance of being at the Grammys on Sunday night.

Along with Quavo, Cardi B also had duties to tend to on Sunday night. Cardi B presented the award for Rap Album of the Year to Kendrick Lamar. The former Rap Album Of The Year winner told ET that she was a bit edgy beforehand. “I was so nervous but I was so happy for him. Because he has such an amazing album,” she said.

Cardi B hasn’t commented on the footage as of yet. However, she shared a photo of Takeoff on her Instagram page this morning after ET released the footage. We’ll keep you posted on anymore updates surrounding the supposed altercation.

Quavo and Offset

It has been reported the two former Migos, Offset and Quavo got into a physical altercation backstage at the 2023 Grammys. The scuffle happened shortly before Quavo’s tribute performance to Takeoff. Offset Denies Reports He Got Into A Fight With Quavo At The Grammys: ‘What TF I Look Like?’

It appears that reports of Offset and Quavo fighting backstage at the Grammys may have been exaggerated. After the TMZ-reported rumor circulated online, Offset himself put in a rare appearance on Twitter to put paid to the speculation, tweeting, “What tf look like fighting my brother yal n****s is crazy.” Quavo, meanwhile, hasn’t made a comment yet.

However, he could just be doing damage control as Entertainment Tonight reports seeing camera phone footage from backstage yelling at someone off-camera, “Both of y’all wrong. This is not right.” While it’s unclear per ET who she’s talking to, it’s not outside the realm of possibility that she could have been addressing her husband and his cousin, who reportedly had to be separated after Quavo declined to allow Offset to join him onstage for his tribute to Takeoff during the ceremony.

The two have been on the outs since last year, when rumors of Migos breaking up hit social media after Offset unfollowed his bandmates on Instagram. Then, Quavo and Takeoff announced their joint album as Unc And Phew, while Offset announced what appeared to be a competing album, and reportedly took the trio’s label, Quality Control Music, to court over the rights to his solo music.

Quavo and Takeoff addressed the split in October, suggesting that the falling out was personal. “We stand on real deal loyalty, and sometimes that sh*t ain’t displayed,” Quavo said. “This ain’t got nothing to do with no label, no paperwork, no QC, nothing. This got something to do with the three brothers. And sh*t, it is what it is. Right now, we gon’ be the duo ’til time tell.”

Before the group could reconcile, though, Takeoff was shot dead in Houston at the start of November, and since then, both remaining Migos appeared to have been mourning separately. They haven’t been seen together except at Takeoff’s funeral.
