Rick Ross Offer To Buy G-Unit Catalogs Amid 50 Cent Feud

Rick Ross says he’s willing to purchase several G-Unit artists’ catalogs amid his ongoing feud with 50 Cent. Taking to social media on Monday, Ross explained that he doesn’t “need the entire G-Unit catalog,” but wants Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks, and Young Buck as well as the Beg For Mercy album.

“So that’s $2 million dollars. I’m making a business offer to the diabolical genius,” Ross suggested, after listing what he wants to purchase. He also joked that he could send him the money directly via wire transfer, or just give him the watch on his wrist and ring on his finger at the same value. Throughout the video, Ross calls 50 “diabolical genius,” a reference to Charlamagne’s recent comments on the music mogul.

Charlamagne had been discussing 50 Cent’s handling of Diddy’s recent sexual assault lawsuits on the Brilliant Idiots podcast when he described him as a “genius.” He reaffirmed his description during an episode of The Breakfast Club afterward. “I stand by what I said. 50 Cent is absolutely a diabolical genius,” Charlamagne said. “If you look up the word diabolical and the definition of diabolical genius, then you know that is exactly what 50 Cent is. [Diabolical people are] very evil but often intelligent.” When Rick Ross caught wind of the praise, he accused Charlamagne of “d*ckriding” the G-Unit legend.

Ross argued that “a diabolical genius doesn’t file foreclosure, doesn’t file bankruptcy, that’s not a diabolical genius. A diabolical genius, for my next generation of bosses, they buying Delta. They buying the Miami Heat.” Be on the lookout for further updates on Rick Ross and 50 Cent’s feud on HotNewHipHop.

Kendrick Lamar Drops Over $8 Million On Brooklyn Penthouse

According to the New York Times, Kendrick Lamar made a major purchase this month, adding to his growing list of properties. He reportedly bought a duplex at Pierhouse at Brooklyn Bridge Park, which cost him $8.6 million. It was originally listed at $8.99 million.

The luxury penthouse boasts four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms, coming in at just over 3000 square feet. Of course, it also features a breathtaking view of the NYC skyline, extravagant building amenities, outdoor space, and more. He was first reported to be eyeing the property back in August. He eyed another pricey residence in the Big Apple before the purchase, which was going for a whopping $9.85 million. It was slightly bigger than his new penthouse and would have made him neighbors with Zendaya, but Kendrick’s surely content with his choice.

This is far from Kendrick’s first property purchase, as he reportedly owns various other residences in California. In 2022, he bought a mansion in Bel Air built in the 50s by California architect Edward Fickett. The 8,000-square-foot property includes seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms, costing him a staggering $15.9 million. He also owns a $9.7 million house in Manhattan Beach, and two more properties in Southern California. He previously told Wild 94.9 that he “really [likes] to buy property.” Clearly, he wasn’t kidding.

The new penthouse isn’t the only exciting thing the performer has going for himself as of late either. He’s also in the running for three Grammy Awards at the 2024 ceremony. Kendrick Lamar Live: The Big Steppers Tour is nominated for Best Music Film, he and Baby Keem’s “The Hillbillies” is nominated for Best Rap Performance, and his visual for “Count Me Out” is nominated for Best Music Video. 50 Cent Says He’s Interested In Buying Revolt After Diddy Steps Down As Chairman

50 Cent continued to troll his longtime rival Diddy on Twitter, Tuesday, while reacting to the news that the Bad Boy mogul intends to step down as chairman at Revolt. In response, 50 offered to purchase the company. TMZ broke the news about Diddy stepping down, earlier this week, saying that the move “was to not allow the accusations he’s facing distract from Revolt’s mission or success.”

“I’ll buy that from you play boy, for the low because you know Cadillac and AT&T gonna pull out,” 50 joked on Twitter. “I’ll give you a few dollars for it now! Sell it to me, then we can be friends [blushing emoji] I’m serious call my phone.”

Diddy has faced three sexual assault lawsuits in recent days. The first came from Cassie, who alleged sexual, physical, and emotional abuse. The two reached a settlement just 24 hours after the singer filed in court. Two other accusers have come forward in the time since. His spokesperson denied both allegations in a statement provided to HipHopDX. They wrote: “These are fabricated claims falsely alleging misconduct from over 30 years ago and filed at the last minute. This is nothing but a money grab. Because of Mr. Combs’ fame and success, he is an easy target for anonymous accusers who lie without conscience or consequence for financial benefit.”

They added: “The New York Legislature surely did not intend or expect the Adult Survivors Act to be exploited by scammers. The public should be skeptical and not rush to accept these bogus allegations.” Be on the lookout for further updates on the fallout from Diddy’s lawsuits on HotNewHipHop.

Hit-Boy Purchases Home He Previously Lost Due To Financial Struggles

Recently, Hit-Boy took to social media to show off how his hard work has paid off. In a new clip, the performer is seen sitting around a table alongside various other, working on designing his new home. While his “dream estate” is certainly impressive, it’s even more impressive that he can now afford to buy it, when at one point he couldn’t even afford to rent it.

“Some of y’all might remember when i went on akademiks podcast and talked about falling on hard times back around 2017,” he captioned the clip. “Crzy how life works i just bought the property in beverly hills i was renting then and couldn’t afford at the time and now im designing my dream estate on it. “Inspiration on top of inspiration,” he added. Plenty of Hit-Boy’s fans and peers are sounding off in his comments section, praising him for how far he’s come.
“Yea!!!” Ty Dolla Sign wrote alongside various fire emojis. 2 Chainz also chimed in, calling the major accomplishment “hard.” Clearly, Hit-Boy couldn’t be more proud of himself, and followers can’t blame him.

Hit-Boy’s new home isn’t the only thing he has to be proud of these days, however. At the end of last month, he dropped off a new collaboration alongside Rapsody, “Asteroids.” The fittingly-titled track centers around dodging hate and disrespect, and coming out on the other side knowing one’s own worth. It was also recently revealed that he’s nominated for a Grammy. He’s in the running for Producer Of The Year alongside Jack Antonoff, Metro Boomin, Dernst “D’Mile” Emile II, and Daniel Nigro. Drake Drops $1 Million On Custom Dune Buggy

Drake recently took to Instagram to show off one of his latest extravagant purchases. The hitmaker bought a custom dune buggy, which cost him nearly $1 million. He flexed the pricey off-road vehicle on his Story earlier this week. “[red drip emojis] still buying toys,” he wrote.

Tony Bet, Drake’s personal car customizer, is behind the flashy custom vehicle. He also shared some shots of the dune buggy on his page, writing, “@champagnepapi doesn’t mess around. Here is his custom built 900HP Brabus Crawler! Thank you for the opportunity [fire emoji].” His photos reveal that the vehicle features a silver plaque reading, “Brabus Masterpiece. Specially built for Aubrey Drake Graham.” The vehicle came just in time for Drake’s 37th birthday, which he celebrated on Tuesday (October 24).

Drake’s “Still Buying Toys”

This isn’t the only flashy new custom item Drake’s received as of late, however. Earlier this week, Birdman surprised him with a Cash Money chain at the club. “Oh, that’s that new sh*t!” he said excitedly upon opening the box. Obviously, he seemed to be thrilled by the thoughtful gift, immediately putting the chain around his neck. He also became the first person ever to get over 200 million RIAA-certified single units as a lead artist this week, which was only the cherry on top of his week-long festivities.

Drake also hosted a huge birthday party for himself in Miami on Monday (October 23), surrounded by loved ones. While fans expected it to be pretty lavish, the bartenders were shockingly top-tier. Producer BNYX shared a clip of Breaking Bad‘s Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston making people’s drinks, which is pretty impressive, even for Drizzy. The pair also got the opportunity to promote their mezcal brand, Dos Hombres. What do you think of Drake’s pricey new dune buggy? 50 Cent Recalls Mike Tyson Selling Him His Mansion With Hilarious Story

50 Cent’s got more money than he knows what to do with, and even then, he’s clearly known how to be a good businessman for a long time. However, that’s not to say that he always knows what the best calls are when it comes to the value of his purchases. The rapper may be one of hip-hop’s most successful entrepreneurs, but he’s also not a home décor expert by any means. Moreover, he recently proved just that while recalling when he bought boxing legend Mike Tyson’s mansion. During a recent interview with LIVE with Kelly and Mark, the G-Unit mogul explained why his first instincts in terms of what to do with the property were proven to be misguided.

“I bought Mike Tyson’s home out there. It was, like, 55,000 square feet,” 50 Cent remarked of the purchase. “Yeah, a lot of stuff,” Fif remarked when asked whether Tyson left anything behind. “Actually, they almost look like this, right there on the wall. That fixture? He had these really ugly light fixtures in the house, but they were, like, 10 karat gold.

50 Cent Comically Roasts Mike Tyson’s Pricey Home Décor

“I had an interior decorator help me with the house,” 50 Cent continued. “‘Cause who knows how to dress up a 55,000 square foot house? Like, I had no idea what to do in some of those spaces. She was like ‘These things are hideous, can we take them out?’ I said ‘Yes.’ Then they told me it was 10 karat gold. I said ‘Put ’em back!’” It seems like the 48-year-old was smart to involve a lot of people in the process, or all that gold would’ve gone to waste.

Meanwhile, it’s clear that the “Many Men” MC is looking forward to more expenses, more lavish productions, and more intelligent uses of his money. Recently, he celebrated the end of the writer’s strike, meaning that he can get back to building his entertainment empire. Let’s just hope that someone’s double-checking whether there are any precious materials on his sets. On that note, check back in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on 50 Cent.

Drake Seemingly Purchased 2Pac’s $1M Crown Ring

Earlier this month, it was announced that 2Pac’s iconic crown ring would go up for auction at Sotheby’s New York. The ring is made up of various diamonds, rubies, and 14 karat yellow gold. The late legend wore it during his last public appearance in 1996 at the MTV Video Music awards, just days before his fatal shooting. Upon news of the auction, the ring was expected to sell for between $200K-300K. It was later revealed that it sold for more than triple that estimate, $1,016,000. The sale even broke records, and the ring is now considered to be the most valuable hip hop artifact of all time.

The sale had people wondering who could have dished out that kind of cash on the ring, and it appears that they now have an answer. Drake looks to have snagged the pricey artifact, subtly flexing the news in a recent Instagram Story. He posted a photo of himself holding the ring alongside a caption about his appearance on Travis Scott’s new album. “UTOPIA OUT NOW,” he wrote, “MELTDOWN.”

Drake Flexes His New Jewelry

Travis Scott just released UTOPIA today (July 28), following months of endless teasing and promotion. As expected, the highly-anticipated LP is packed with high-profile features, including one from the Canadian hitmaker. The album also includes Beyonce, Young Thug, Kid Cudi, SZA, and more. Drake even reignited his longstanding feud with Pusha T on “Meltdown.” Unfortunately, he also recently left some precious cargo behind at a strip club. A shot of the famous UTOPIA briefcase left forgotten in a booth at Starlet’s of New York appeared on the artist’s Instagram Story yesterday, being posed with by several dancers.

Drake’s on his “It’s All A Blur” tour alongside 21 Savage, performing in various cities across the U.S. and Canada. He’s also been teasing his upcoming album, For All The Dogs, as of late. Fans won’t have to wait much longer for the LP, as he recently revealed it’ll drop in “like, two weeks.”

Beyoncé & JAY-Z Keeping $88M Bel-Air House Despite Buying Malibu’s Most Expensive Home

Beyoncé and JAY-Z are reportedly keeping their $88 million house in Bel-Air, despite having just purchased the most expensive home in all of Malibu. TMZ reported last week that the couple dropped $200 million on the mega-mansion. At that fee, it ranks as the second most expensive real estate deal in the country behind a $238 million bid for an NYC apartment. The couple’s new property was reportedly listed for $295 million. Celebrity realtor Kurt Rappaport represented both parties to bring the deal together.

The outlet described the property as one of “the greatest architectural masterpieces in the country.” It overlooks the Pacific Ocean and is located in the exclusive Paradise Cove area and was designed by famed Japanese architect, Tadao Ando. At 40,000 square feet, it also doubles as an art museum. Art collectors Bill and Maria Bell originally commissioned the property.

Back in 2022, JAY-Z’s frequent collaborator, Kanye West, purchased a home in Malibu for a whopping $57 million. Tadao Ando also designed his beachfront property. Other rappers to drop small fortunes on homes in the area include Dr. Dre, who bought a $40 Million home in Brentwood, California, Diddy, who purchased a $40 Million property in Holmby Hills, California, and more.

Beyoncé’s purchase of the Malibu property comes as she embarks on The Renaissance World Tour. For the effort, she’ll be making a total of 57 stops across England, Spain, France, Germany, and more. The shows kicked off on May 10 at Friends Arena, in Stockholm, Sweden. She’ll begin her run of shows in the United States on July 12 with a performance at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. DaniLeigh recently revealed that she worked with Beyoncé on the choreography for the concerts. Additionally, Natalia Bryant worked as an intern for Beyoncé ahead of the tour. It marks her first solo tour since the Formation World Tour in 2016.
